Well, Obama’s jobs council is sure getting plenty of attention now.
Politico reported Obama had been neglecting his all-star panel of CEOs for six months, which led to reporting on the political downsides of meeting with business leaders accused of outsourcing while he’s lambasting Romney for allegedly outsourcing, and reporting on how Obama’s job council agrees with Romney’s tax plan, and Jay Carney’s stuttering 2-minutes of nothing, which led to today’s RNC ad on the subject, which highlights stats even Politifact had to green-light without contorting itself into a dubious “Half-True” certification. Oh, awkward turtle.
The White House insisted again Thursday that it thinks the jobs council is pretty keen. When asked about the issue, Carney responded that the president’s “extremely appreciative” of the group.
“This president is focused on job creation and economic growth and he is using every tool in his tool box to advance economic growth.”
Sure, he just uses a tool box like a sophomore in college in her first apartment. How does a crescent wrench work again?
Obama told a Florida audience today that he spends “every waking hour” thinking about them and “fighting as hard” as he knows how for them.

If you listen between the lines, you’ll hear this: “I would wake up every single day, every single day and spend every waking hour thinking about you…because I see myself in you.” Now, that I buy.
Obama:
400 total hours spent receiving info on the day, including the economy.
600+ total hours spent playing golf.
(He says 6 hours away from work/home per game and stats say over 100 games.)

…Tell me, after 6 Months [a year?] the economy is still in the crapper….how are all these meetings, sessions, input, advice…etc… helping to ‘create jobs’ exactly???? They are nothing but ‘meetings’…
Sounds to me this whole “Jobs Council” is just another Government Bullshit Smoke Screen “Government Agency” that just sounds “Good” …. so that this incompetent administration can say: We have no clue how to create a Job so, “let’s make it look and sound” [to the Stupid American People] “like we are trying to ‘do’ something” even though we have no clue whatsoever… and we ‘really’ aren’t “actively doing anything” to jump start the economy because the economy is so far into the crapper….

Sure he is. Of course, anyone who knows tools knows that you must use the right tool for the job. What Obama is doing is akin to trying to hang a picture frame with an allen wrench.

What is absolutely too funny is who is head of Obamas’ job council; Jeffrey Immelt, CEO of GE, and the one man who has probably shipped more jobs out of the country than anyone.
I heard Karl Rove say today that when G.W. was running for his second term, he did 53 (I think, it was in the low 50’s) fundraisers in 17 months. That works out to 3.11 per month. Obama has done 106 in six months, almost 18 a month. That would include the fund raiser that George Clooney held for Obama in a foreign country but then we all know that Obama is so very, very honest he would never take donations from foreign nationals, which is illegal.
Obama seems to be running as fast as he can, a pace that no one can keep up without really making major mistakes like he has been doing for the last few days. All that money he is collecting (Obama thanks Hollywood) is not going to matter one bit if he keeps going off teleprompter and making major gaffes like he has been doing. Hell, the things Obama has said in just the last few days will make great campaign ads; for Mitt Romney.

We on the right side of the political spectrum do care about the helpless unborn who are being ripped out of their mother’s womb after they have a pair of scissors shoved into the back of their heads compared to you on the left who hold up “Free Mumbia” signs demanding the saving of the life of a subhuman murderer.
You know WHY Obama didn’t need to meet with his Jobs’ Council in order to be ”focused like a laser beam on jobs?”
Because he knows who his friends are.
So 80% of all his Green Jobs loans went to companies run by or primarily owned by Obama financial backers.
