    Cook County (which includes Chicago) still doesn’t ”get it.”
    With more than one gun homicide per day the ”solution?”
    Cook County is charging an additional $25 tax on every handgun sold inside county lines.
    And these government officials believe that 24,000 guns will still be sold in Cook County?
    Why?
    Any law abiding person who wants to protect himself will easily drive one county over to save that much per gun.
    And criminals don’t buy guns at gun stores.

    It has never occurred to a poverty pimp like Jesse Jackson that the crime rate in Chicago is so bad because people like him, and Al [not-so] Sharpton have been pushing abdication of responsibility on the blacks of America for decades. Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams and Shelby Steele have written about this numerous times.

    Crack head mammas giving birth to crack addicted babies that spend their young lives, not being taught that an education opens most all doors, but that it is important to score the next drug buy. Absentee daddies, who could care less about their spawn, add to the problem that the Jacksons and the Sharptons of this country won’t address. Kids, who don’t get the love, the discipline, the nuturing from those they should, their parents, turn to the gangs to have a feeling of belonging. Ever wonder where the baggy pants fade came from? Prison culture where belts are not allowed. Same with wearing caps backwards. Rap music that glorifies gang culture and degrades women.

    No, Jesse Jackson can’t defend the gun ban in Chicago because to do so, would destroy the very thing that has made him a wealthy, wealthy man; victimization.

    @MOS 8541:

    The irony of Jesse Jackson is how he claimed the mantilla of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. who couldn’t stand Jackson and didn’t trust Jackson. Rev. Ralph Abernathy finally put an end to the myth Jackson created that Dr. King died in Jackson’s arms. There are no bigger racists in this nation than Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, two men who are nothing but hustlers.

    you are correct, king never died in jachson’s arms. jackson is a huge racists, but then again, he is a true democrat-biggest racist party in the country. And they say the KKK is bad. The clan is minor when it comes to these two racists dogs.
