We need to summon up our prayers for the families, friends and colleagues of two as yet unidentified New York City police officers who were murdered execution style in a most cowardly fashion in Brooklyn this afternoon. The details are pretty horrible.

Two uniformed NYPD officers were shot dead Saturday afternoon as they sat in their marked police car on a Brooklyn street corner — in what investigators believe was a crazed gunman’s execution-style mission to avenge Eric Garner and Michael Brown.

“It’s an execution,” one law enforcement source said of the 3 p.m. shooting of the two officers, whose names were being withheld pending family notification of their deaths.

The tragic heroes were working overtime as part of an anti-terrorism drill when they were shot point-blank in their heads by the lone gunman, who approached them on foot from the sidewalk at the corner of Myrtle and Tompkins avenues in Bed-Stuy.

“I’m Putting Wings on Pigs Today,” a person believed to be the gunman wrote on Instagram in a message posted just three hours before the officers were shot through their front passenger window.

Another social media post by the suspected gunman read, “They Take 1 Of Ours … Let’s Take 2 of Theirs.” Nothing is confirmed yet, but the evidence they are releasing in the early hours looks pretty hard to refute. Also, the matching clothing on the suspect’s body and in the one Instagram photo are pretty convincing.

The alleged killer was already on the run on suspicion of having murdered his girlfriend in Baltimore.

And, of course, the one person who seems to be at the center of all the protests was quick to release a statement.

The war on police continues, unabated and unmentioned by politicians with the assassination of two NYPD officers who’s crime was going to work this morning and sitting in their police car when they were ambushed by a lone cowardly gunman, who, after taking two innocent lives, shot himself as cops approached him on a subway platform.

If I wasn’t so friggin’ angry, I would be in tears.

All I can offer are prayers for the murdered officers and their families, I have no idea how we can fight this war, but I am sure it is going to escalate thanks to the actions of Sharpton, Jackson, and the highest levels of our government, who value the company of the race baiters. At some point, the police are going to stop reacting and start taking pre-emptive action, they will be vilified, but justified.

Police officers turned their backs on DeBlasio as he walked in for the presser tonight.
Police vowed that two patrol cars will respond to any call instead of one.

The perp was a big Instagram user.
He left Koranic verses such as 8:60 ordering Muslims to “strike at the necks of the unbelievers” on that site.
He was a version of Black Muslim splinter group called the Black Guerrilla faction.
He was also considered to be in a gang.
He left an Instagram about giving a couple of NYPD officers wings before he killed himself.

There are a couple of verses that are more relevant to NY’s situation.
One is ”train up a child in the way you want him to go so that when he grows up he will not stray from it.”
Another is ”because punishment has been delayed the heart of the wrongdoer becomes set on evil.”

@Scott+in+Oklahoma:

The NYPD needs to give DeBlasio 72 hours to resign or they will walk. Let’s see how New Yorkers like not having a police department and getting the military, who have no arrest power, trying to guard their streets. No officer should be required to put their life on the line when their own mayor is stabbing them in the back, cozying up with the likes of Al Sharpton.

I’m sure Obama will interrupt his lengthy vacation to comment on how the protesters need to tone it down and allow the system to work. Or maybe he’ll say that the police acted stupidly for sitting in their vehicle.

The people of NY knew what blasio is when they elected him, a communist. He supported the protesters so they believe they can do whatever they want – and that is to kill police. actions have consequences and the people of NY only have themselves to blame.

I agree the Mayor has got to go.
Maybe NO police would wake people up.
I feel sorry for the families of the 2 officers.

Oh but we need to “empathize” with the bloodthirsty mob, we need to build them more basketball courts and buy them bigger TVs so they won’t go out and murder people.

COIN, it seems to be working in our cities about as well as it does in Afghanistan.

Another one, early this morning in Tarpon Springs Florida.
One Hundred Eleven so far this year… my profound sadness over these losses is overshadowed by my anger at those who have initiated and perpetuated this war on the police.

Sharpton rapidly came out and condemned the killings, saying he has been promoting “non-violence”? Say, WHAT? Did I miss it when not-so-Sharpton denounced the violence in Ferguson, New York, LA or the chants of “What do we want…DEAD COPS!! When do we want it…..NOW!!” Sharpton, Obama, DeBlasio, Farrakhan, Holder and Jackson have all been instigating to get their stupid, mindless followers worked up into a sustainable frenzy and now we are seeing dead cops. They should all be prosecuted for these deaths and have to face the families of these heroic cops.

I would love for the cops to announce a week in advance they would walk off the job unless DeBlasio departs. Give the thieves a full week to plan their crimes and hold DeBlasio responsible for the resultant crime sprees; use the same tactics the left uses to such great success. It’s time to stop rolling over to these criminals. It;s time to turn their own tactics on them with even greater effect.

God bless Liu and Ramos and their loved ones. God protect law enforcement that is now targeted by left wing hatred.
