The Liberal Narrative Emerges….’The Tea Party Deserved It’

Loading

J. Christian Adams @ PJ Media:

Cleta Mitchell has prepared this comprehensive guide to the IRS abuse of election integrity and Tea Party groups.  It has everything you need to know to understand the legal environment which sprouted this scandal.

An interesting narrative split is developing among the Left.  As Bryan Preston notes, the reliable Praetorian Press Guard, formerly known as JournoList has a plan: condemn the IRS, say Obama had nothing to do with it.

First, get reliably friendly bloggers and columnists on board with a story that focuses attention away from the White House. Then, isolate and target someone who has already become a central figure in the scandal and, more importantly, who does not work directly for the White House. Finally, make it appear as if these reliably friendly bloggers actually take the IRS scandal seriously.

But others, the speech regulators on the Left, must not have been invited to the West Wing meetings with the JournoList members, because groups like Democracy 21 are busy approving of the IRS abuse.

The latest narrative from the speech regulators is that these election integrity groups didn’t deserve status because they were political. Of course that crowd considers folks who disagree with them to be political merely because of the disagreement. Groups like Democracy 21 always proclaim a-political and mainstream status when the truth is anything but.  To Democracy 21, anyone who seeks to help the election process with whom they disagree must be political.

I started noticing tweets from attendees of the White House for their talking point.
They call for identifying the IRS agents involved then firing them.
One little problem: the IRS’ union rules do not allow for an agent to be fired for something like this.
Obama’s PR meeting with the liberal Journolists was a waste of time.

I just had to sit through SNL last nite while my wife and son watched it. I wouldn’t have watched it on my own.

In the “weekly update” skit, Seth Myers and the blonde chick (don’t know here name, nor do I care) were discussing the IRS scandal and essentially stated this very thing. That the TEA party groups deserved the scrutiny based on their name alone.

I’m sure that many of the young and impressionable, with quite a few older and impressionable thrown in, bought that as an excuse.

Typical left wing fascism. Cherry pick the Constitution. The IRS culprits want to hide behind the 5th. The Tea party patriots have to endure the IRS gestapo tactics with no recourse.

But if the shoe had been on the other foot, and it had been MediaMatters or any of George Soros multitude of 501(c) groups, you would hear howling from the left like scalded cats.

Not to mention that the most brilliant woman in the world (OK, second most brillant woman in the world since the left thinks Moochelle Obama is the most brilliant), Nancy Pelosi is claiming the tornado in Oklahoma was caused by the Republicans not accepting Al Gores global warming climate change hoax.

they all are corrupt for doing it and for witnessing it,
they all deserved to be fire, the UNIONS can go to hell,
this is a matter not for the UNIONS to be mix in it.
their power is not to protect crimes done on the GOOD LAW ABIDING
CITIZENS FOR MANY YEARS being exploited by those minions ignorants
following OBAMA RHETORIC to get them questioned like the gestapo style,
this is showing a very dangerous trend in AMERICA ,
which must be STOP,
by force and arrest if needed. of the ROTTEN HEAD
down to those multiple AGENCIES,
I will repeat his words: do it for revenge

@johngalt:

Don’t forget, MANY liberals get their “news” from Stewart, Colbert and SNL (recall the viral spread of the “see Russia from my house” quote that became attributed to Palin herself. For a bunch of smart people, liberals aren’t very smart.

“For a bunch of smart people, liberals aren’t very smart.”
No, but they sure are persistent. Too many to step on, too adaptable to eliminate. Sort of like cockroaches.

So, who will be “deserving” of such special the next time there is a Republican president? George Soros and his many 501 groups seem overdue for an audit if the new SOP for Federal government agencies is that politicization shall be the new norm.

WEINER is trying to get the post of MAYOR in NEW YORK,
his narrative if he win will be
