The “Importation” – The “Quarantine” & Airborne Ebola…

sundance:

Today the CDC confirmed the first case of unintentionalimportation of Ebola virus in the U.S.  (Full Video):

Patient Zero, a Liberian, located in Dallas Texas flew to the United States from Monrovia.

  • 9/20 and 9/21 travel to the United States.
  • 9/24 Became symptomatic for Ebola
  • 9/26 Presented for treatment.
  • 9/28 Admitted to hospital in Dallas for isolation, quarantine and treatment

Between 9/24/14 and 9/28/14 (4 days) Patient Zero was contagious and unconfined.  This is why the CDC says THERE WILL MORE LIKELY BE more infected as a result.

ALARMINGLY – It was discovered that in 1995 the ability of Ebola to aerosolize –or transmit via airborne pathogens– was reported, studied and confirmed.

Ebola, despite the CDC “calming” claims to the contrary,  has been scientifically proven to be a communicable airborne virus.   Coughing and sneezing can transmit the Ebola virus just like coughing and sneezing can transmit the flu.

Wasn’t that an impeccably produced news conference?
We could even hear all of the telephoned-in questions.
And, did you note that, while only ONE American hospital was good enough to properly contain this disease before, NOW any local hospital will do just fine?!?

Relax; the government is on it. It’s not like this is email or something.

Just think, this is a case of Ebola that came through the approved travel system. Wonder how many infected illegals are going to enter through our southern border and then distributed through out the country by our government?

@Randy:

Not necessary — 3000 US Army troops are being infected as I type this — interesting start to WW3 eh? — our SOB in chief is zapping our military’s medical capabilities!

When we sent men to the moon, upon return we put them in quarantine for 30 days. Why? Because we did not know what kind of germ could live in the hostile environment of the moon and what such a germ might do to the population.

Currently, we have people coming from regions where one of the most deadly and infectious diseases known to man is running rampant and they can just hop on a plane, travel for hours, make flight connections, eat at airport restaurants and then hop off and go meld with the general population. We know absolutely what Ebola can do and how it transmits and we do not stop travel to and from that region. We quarantined astronauts when we didn’t know if there was a danger or not. But that was then and this is now.

@Bill:
What a great historic example.
When HIV/AIDS first started spreading Public Health Officials demanded all those who had it be treated like they had TB or any other highly communicable disease.
But gays were ”feeling their oats,” about their recent liberation movement and stymied that plan to control HIV/AIDS.
Nowadays homosexual males make up less than 2% of all the US population.
BUT that same group has 52% of all the HIV/AIDS cases in the US population.

Can we afford to be so cavalier about ebola?
This one man had 5 school children in his home.
Between them they attend four different public schools.
After the man came home to Texas he mixed with his family.
Even after he was so sick he went to the ER (and was sent home with pills) he further mixed with all these children.
Meantime these children were attending their classes.
Experts claim that pre-symptomatic infected people usually can’t spread their diseases, but we’ll see.

Obama: “Move along. Nothing to see here!”

The NYTimes had done some digging.
I guess seeing 100 of your fellow co-workers being laid off it quite a motivator!
Patient Zero, Thomas Eric Duncan, Came To U.S. To Get Treatment For His Ebola Exposure…

[I]n Monrovia, the Liberian capital, the family of the woman, Marthalene Williams, 19, took her by taxi to a hospital with Mr. Duncan’s help on Sept. 15 after failing to get an ambulance, said her parents, Emmanuel and Amie Williams. She was convulsing and seven months pregnant, they said.

Turned away from a hospital for lack of space in its Ebola treatment ward, the family said it took Ms. Williams back home in the evening, and that she died hours later, around 3 a.m.
Mr. Duncan helped carry Ms. Williams, who was no longer able to walk, back to the family home that evening, neighbors said.

After he helped her and she died THEN he comes to the states.
I wonder if it is a coincidence that Obama/Holder recently made it a non-crime to knowingly infect someone with HIV?
Because this guy may have knowingly just infected all sorts of folks with ebola.

@Nanny+G: How’s that “hopey – changey” doing for you all? Happy landing folks! Remember to always vote democrat so we can have all that great gubmint health care — hey there Nancy Pee — now that it is passed — how many more surprises are ya gonna pull outta your ACA bill? Sure glad it is all FREE — ha ha ha fools — ya gets what ya pay for!

Heard the chickens were back – so went to the roost to get one for dinner — and turns out they have all been dead for 6 years — some eff’n dinner!

@Budvarakbar:
Yeah, I’m counting the days.

The top three ebola countries have 13,500 people who hold AMERICAN (USA) visas!
That means, since Obama has lifted all restriction on travel, they could ALL come home anytime.

@Nanny+G: I guess Patient One forgot to mention that.
