I was watching the launch AS USUAL.
I hardly have missed a manned launch sine the 1960’s.
What I saw was frightening.
After the two twin booster rockets were released it all seemed fine for a few minutes.
But well before the larger booster was released the camera on it, filming the bottom of the shuttle caught a whole bunch of entire square and rectangular tiles wooshing off into space.
Must have been ten of them.
No news about that…..yet.
