Sheila Jackson Lee Thinks Slavery Ended in the 1960s

Daniel Greenfield @ FrontPageMag.com:

Sheila Jackson Lee, the dumbest woman, mammal and oxygen breathing lifeform in Congress, is there to serve as an example to the dumbest of Americans. A role model that proves that even if you can’t tell the difference between Mars and the Moon and think that the United States won the Vietnam War and that hurricanes should be named after black people… you can still have a rewarding career saying stupid things.

But at least Sheila Jackson Lee didn’t drink any water.

Jackson Lee suggested lawmakers should take inspiration from President Lincoln’s leadership during the Civil War.

“I stand here as a freed slave because this Congress came together. Are we going to be able to do it today to free America?”

It’s natural for Sheila Jackson Lee to be confused. Lincoln did just come out and Sheila probably thinks that he freed the slaves and fought vampires.

The only problem is that Sheila Jackson Lee confused the 1860s with the 1960s when she was actually growing up. Considering that she didn’t know how the Vietnam War ended, that’s not completely shocking, but you would think that she would remember that as a child she did not live on on a plantation.

Sheila Jackson Lee was from the slave-owning state of New York, from a plantation in Jamaica, Queens. (While Jamaica did have slaves, Jamaica, Queens did not, again accounting for Sheila Jackson Lee’s confusion.) (And yes, sorry guys, our state inflicted her on Texas.)

Sheila Jackson Lee’s mother slaved away as a nurse at a Salvation Army Hospital and her father drew horror comics. Her maternal grandfather was a Pullman porter in Florida.

Oh, the irony in believing that by enslaving people, you are actually “freeing” them.

It’s amazing to me that there are that many stupid people in America that continue to vote in people like Lee. Then again, Obama got voted in again, after overseeing disaster on everything he touched.

Since they are both black, that must mean I am racist. Never mind that a black co-worker of mine believes the same as I do.

    I don’t know…..
She has to be tied by that other elected official Georgia Rep. Hank Johnson, who believes Guam might tip over and capsize if we put any more troops on it.
Jon Stewart needs to send Johnson a thank you note. You can’t make this stuff up.

I’ve seen bags of hammers with more intelligence than she has ever displayed, and I apologize to hammers everywhere.

Sheila Jackson Lee is a prime example of the “uninformed” voter. She has done nothing for her district which remains the most poverty stricken, crime ridden area of Houston. But she now has competition.

Anita Moncreif, the ACORN whistleblower, has started the Crispus Addicks TEA Party in Jackson’s district, where she is trying to inform voters of the fact that the Democrats have simply replaced one form of human bondage for another form of human bondage. Jackson-Lee whined to Eric Holder that “TEA party’ activists were trying to taint the vote in her district. Nevermind that Jackson-Lee feels she has the right to violate voting laws by campaigning inside actual polls. When the districts in Texas were redrawn, Jackson-Lee demanded that her district not be changed, as it was primarily black. It was, and now she has to convince low income whites and Hispanics that she is acting in their best interest. She was elected last November with the lowest margin in her Congressional history.

She is a disgrace to her constituents and hopefully, the scandal is that Jackson-Lee will eventually come out.
