President Obama’s Passive Aggressive Israel Policy

As expected, this past Friday afternoon the United States vetoed a UN Security Council Resolution that would have condemned Israel for its “settlements” in the disputed territories of Judea, Samaria and East Jerusalem.

The vote followed a week of scrambling where the US tried to substitute a toned down vote to be issued not as a resolution but as a weaker “President’s Statement.” This statement would have changed the wording of the resolution from “Israeli settlements established in the Palestinian territory occupied since 1967” which means any settlement ever built, to “continued settlement activity” which is any new settlements. It would have objected to any non-negotiated change in status, a slap at the Palestinians goal of a unilateral declaration of statehood and it would have condemned “all forms of violence, including rocket fire from Gaza”

President Abbas objected to this change and insisted the original resolution be offered up for vote. The outcome: 14 to 1 to condemn Israel, with U.S. Ambassador Susan Rice casting the lone no vote. Immediately after her veto, Ambassador Rice launched into speech where she said she agreed with the resolution:

Obama, through his Secretary of State MS Clinton, said there was never an agreement between Israel and the US about natural expansion of existing settlements. Elliot Abrams who negotiated the agreement for the United States says that Obama’s contention is simply not true (See: Hillary Is Wrong About the Settlements, Wall Street Journal, June 26, 2009)

Seizing the opportunity to avoid talking, the Palestinians used Obama’s demands, to make a settlement freeze their precondition to further talks, even though there were ongoing construction projects concurrent to the negotiations which occurred during the Bush administration.

In August 2009 Prime Minister Netanyahu announced a one-time unilateral ten month settlement freeze. It was approved and implemented on November 25, 2009 and ran till September 25, 2010. The Palestinians wasted the first 9+ months of the freeze and did not come he negotiation table till September 2010, three weeks before the freeze ended. A fact lost on the Obama Administration.

So, does Obama side with Muslims against everyone else all of the time?
After 2 years in office, taking a look at everything, I’d say it is certainly starting to form a pattern that looks like it.

Now today Obama throws a man under the bus when he didn’t have to.
An American Citizen.
A man who worked for an EMBASSY.
A man who should have been given Diplomatic Immunity and brought home.

Today Obama said, to the Muslims who run Pakistan, ”go ahead, kill him.”
Raymond Davis, detained in Pakistan in the killing of two armed men, has been thrown under Obama’s Infidel-hating bus!
Last week::

Mr. Obama, who previously referred to Mr. Davis as “our diplomat”, said last week that he was covered by diplomatic immunity and should be immediately released. Facing public anger over the killings, Pakistan has refused to do so.

Mr. Obama and other top U.S. officials have appealed to the Pakistanis to hand over Mr. Davis and to do more to ensure his security.
…………….

Senior police officers in Lahore have said Mr. Davis is likely guilty of murder even though they have yet to formally charge him. They deny the men were planning to attack Mr. Davis and say they may have been armed because of a feud in which one of the men’s elder brothers had recently been killed.

U.S. officials say such comments by police officials leading the investigation mean Mr. Davis is unlikely to get a fair hearing if the case goes to trial.

Mr. Obama, in his first comments on the incident last week, said Mr. Davis is covered by a 1961 treaty on diplomatic immunity to which the U.S. and Pakistan are both signatories.

A court in Lahore will decide next month whether Mr. Davis has diplomatic immunity.

Today:

The American detained in Pakistan in the killing of two armed men was working secretly in the country for the Central Intelligence Agency, U.S. officials say.

I would like to see more balance.
Obama is supposed to be president, not just of Muslims, not just of Union members, but of all the people.
Where is his once-in-a-while, or even 50-50, choosing the side of the non-Muslim or of the non-union man?

THEY better get behind those secret agents, as they dont reside in every houses, they are very few who after training are given a mission to work under cover in a danger zone, they are patriots helping their
COUNTRY AMERICA to be free from terrorists attacks as much as they can,
so they are not killer, and if they have shoot is definitly for self defence, this is to be consider FIRST ,
before hearing any other statements, they better get him back home fast, or else, if PAKISTAN want to play that game with the USA, they should be advise firmly that there is no alternative then to release the man to AMERICAN authoritys at once

The guy’s a Muslim. What do you think is in his heart? Do you think he’s stupid enough to reveal what is really there? Timing is everything with this guy.
