In late October, Petraeus traveled to Libya to conduct his own review of the Benghazi attack that killed four Americans, including U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens.
While in Tripoli, he personally questioned the CIA station chief and other CIA personnel who were in Benghazi on Sept. 11 when the attack occurred.
The Libya stop was part of a six nation trip to the region. Petraeus intended the review as a way to prepare for his upcoming testimony before Congress on Benghazi.
“He was looking forward to testifying,” a Petraeus friend told ABC News. “He wanted to be fully prepared.”
The trip was so recent that the CIA has told the Congressional Intelligence committees that the trip report has not yet been completed.
Petraeus’ personal involvement in this investigation is one reason some in Congress are likely to insist he testify on Benghazi.
This is the first I’ve heard of ANYONE interviewing all those others who were involved in the fighting on Sept. 11th.
And he wants to beg off?
And why?
Because Obama/Holder/Panetta have managed to twist any attempt by Patraeus to testify into a media circus!
Gee.
They knew about his affair since last Spring.
They finished their investigation of him before the election.
But they turned his life into a media circus just before he was listed to testify.
Hmmmm.
I do hope those survivors from that day do testify personally at some point.
But the way all their top brass are being fired, forced out and/or demoted I wonder if they are being cowed into silence.
Do not be surprised if Petraeus winds up dead. Maybe not now, but within a year span..He has already be targeted as a “enemy of the state”. Mark this entry..he will die at the hands of opie. He knows too much to be kept alive. Paula Broadwell will die in an auto accident or shot in the head while jogging. Death warrants have been issued.
While Gen. p was investigating, BO was STILL claiming this was about a video.
Petraeus will blow the lid of the Benghazi attack. opie had knowledge and lied about the attack. Now S. Rice is posted to be the a new sec. of state..What a joke. She has been a opie whore for years..failed at the UN and now wants to follow the slut hillary..New Licence plates: Slut1-hillary, slut susan..
Petraeus and Paula Broadwell are dead..mark this entry, for upon their deaths I will remind you.

If they don’t kill him how can they silence him?
Petraeus still (even with the infidelity) has more credibility than Obama/Holder/Rice/Clinton/Panetta.
