Obama quotes on Islam and Christianity

Very interesting.
I would add that, as a student of the Bible who has read it a number of times, I cannot recall Obama using a Scripture properly.
He takes then and twists them into a speech but without really understanding what the verse or idea says.
Do you recall his twist of Luke 12:47-49?
It reads:

And that servant who knew his master’s will, and did not prepare himself or do according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more.

This had NOTHING to do with what Obama twisted it into which was tax paying: “To whom much is given, much shall be required.”
The Master is GOD, not the government in Jesus’ illustration.
In the illustration God is a paymaster, an owner for a slave or an employer for a worker.
He can, in no way, be the gov’t.

And, why is Obama suddenly pro-gay marriage?
It’s because, maybe late in 2012, Obama discovered the Golden Rule!
As a Christian why wasn’t he familiar with the Golden Rule as a younger man?
And then he twists:

“[Michelle and I] we are both practicing Christians and obviously this position [ being pro-gay marriage] may be considered to put us at odds with the views of others. But, you know, when we think about our faith, the thing at root that we think about is, not only Christ sacrificing himself on our behalf, but it’s also the Golden Rule, you know, treat others the way you would want to be treated.

Assembly of God general superintendent, George O. Wood, says the denomination is in complete disagreement with the president’s new position and takes exception to Obama taking Scripture out of context to defend his position…… “The Bible clearly teaches that marriage should be a lifelong commitment between one man and one woman. There is no affirmation of homosexual behavior found anywhere in Scripture. However, the Bible is replete with evidence that homosexual behavior is immoral and comes under the judgment of God. Although it has become popular to quote Scripture grossly out of context to serve a personal or political agenda, it still doesn’t change what God’s Word clearly states.”

Most recent example I have come across is Obama’s new racist program, My Brothers’ Keeper.
This is also based on a Bible verse, where Cain asks God, Am I my brothers’ keeper? when God knows Cain has murdered Abel.
Obama has been negligent to his own fleshly family.
One of his brothers lives in extreme poverty in Africa.
Another relative was an illegal alien in the USA for years.
And, as president, Obama has an obligation to all Americans equally, without regard for color.
But his new program is race-based and prevents whites from getting benefits!
It is only for the right people of color, too!
No Asians need apply!
