“It was very odd that there was a bunch of Homeland Security cars there and I was shocked and took a picture and a short video and posted them to Facebook with the status update, ‘What are these vehicles doing here? I wonder if it has anything to do with Ferguson?'”
The next day his boss called him in and told him to take down the pictures. He removed them from his page and worked the rest of the day.
It was the day after that Paffrath says he was called into the office again. This time, he says the hotel chain’s director of security was there to fire him — and some of the things he said were hard to swallow for this man who served three years in the navy.
“He called me a terrorist and said I dishonorably served my country for posting those pictures and the short video,” he said. Then, “He gave me a threat that if I were to repost the pictures that I would be locked up and have DHS knocking on my door and all that other stuff.”
There has been no knock from federal authorities.
The Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Protective Service confirms that the vehicles belong to them. They refused comment on why so many are in town, and would not answer the specific question as to whether they are in place in anticipation of the St. Louis County Grand Jury’s decision in the case of Officer Darren Wilson. The Federal Protective Service handles security for all federal buildings and courthouses.
But St. Louis Police Chief Sam Dotson denies that there are federal agents in the area.
“This is a local law enforcement issue. So, you will not see any federal authorities, you will not see anybody on the ground,” Dotson says.
A representative from the Homeland Security office in Jefferson City, Missouri, sent KMOX an email saying, “the U.S. Department of Homeland Security has no role in the Ferguson Security Plan.”
Both local bloggers, the Gateway Pundit and the Conservative Treehouse blog have posted many photos of these same vehicles.
One of the vehicles deals with big explosives, nuclear explosives, biological bombs and chemical bombs.
Yikes.
They plainly say DHS on their sides and backs.
Their drivers/passengers all dress in what look like flight suits.
And they are parked/staged in hotel parking lots.
So, give the guy a raise, don’t fire him!
Clearly the DOJ is aware of what direction the Grand Jury is headed. Just as clearly, the DOJ has briefed Obama about the risks faced. So, one wonders why these two clowns (Holder and Obama) are not up front and center requesting peace and calm, regardless of the outcome, holding rabble-rousing leaders responsible for any outbreaks of violence, and expressing their belief that unwarranted violence is an insult to the neighborhood, community and all citizens.
Unless, of course, they want the violence to explode.

He’s got Obama/Holder’s numbers.
@Bill, instead of asking for peace and calm, Obama told the protesters to “stay the course”. This brings a question to mind… if things get real bad in Missouri, will Obama declare Martial Law? And if the rioting/violence spreads to other cities, does Martial Law spread too? And to what extent? I see the possibility of very bad things happening on the horizon…
Since the police say that no federal agents are involved, are the vehicles (and I’m guessing there will be people in them) there to support the police, or the rioters? Did the police know about the vehicles? How many other places are their vehicles parked?

I REALLY hope I am wrong, but I have said for years that I expect obama to declare martial law before he leaves office. Again, I HOPE I AM WRONG. If obama doesn’t want a riot, wouldn’t he be asking for the blacks in the area to not be violent? Why did he have people from four different federal agencies meet with the family of the black who was shot, but no federal agent met with the white police officer, or his family?
How many times did obama make comments when a black person was shot or charged with a crime (before there was a trial), compared to how many times he commented on a white person being shot or beaten by a black person, or a black mob?
@Smorgasbord, we are now and have been on the same page for quite a long time. I have to wonder if we’re really going to have a presidential election in 2016, and I suspect between now and then we are in for a really tough road.

Thanks to obama, the citizens of the USA are better armed than when he got elected, and there are more militia groups, but there are also a lot more muslim training camps across the country. How many other countries allow the enemy that wants to destroy them to train in the country they are training to attack.
Why aren’t the republicans doing anything to stop the training camps? If they are on OUR side, wouldn’t they be stopping the terrorist training camps in OUR borders? I wonder how many republicans worship in a mosque.

I’ve got you beat. I have been saying it since BEFORE he was elected. While he was campaigning for his party’s nomination to run for president, he said he wants a national civilian security force that is as strong as, and equally funded as the military.

Different times I have asked the liberals to tell me why they think obama having a civilian police force that is as strong as the military is OK with them, when we have the National Guard, and are you willing to pay for it, but I haven’t gotten an answer yet.
