Our local news covered the long lines and traffic jams from our local ones today.
I was mystified by all the people who had umbrellas.
(It is not a CA thing to carry them all year.)
But after seeing this thread I realize it was the Chick-fil-A folks who came out and shaded customers as they were waiting in line!
I went to one myself. Line out the door and 1/2 way around the building. The drive thru was backed up to the street.
Got out of there after 45 minutes and the rush appeared to just be getting started.
The closest one to me was in the food court at a Mall about 4 miles from my job…I went right after work and arrived about 5:15 waited about 5 minutes for “my” sandwich – lol….about 20 people on line to start….then the line just continued to grow and grow and grow and grow for the next 4 1/2 hours…
I took some pictures of the other food court eateries…. though not their fault….they had a few to no customers… everyone was at Chick-fil-a protesting in their classy Conservative way…
This is what Conservatives/Tea Party/Republicans, the silent majority do so well…I heard others make comments like “this is great”…a black ‘conservative’ guy I was chit chatting with said “this is great what we need is a ‘revolution’ enough is enough!!” …and I said to him the revolution already started with the Tea Party… back in 2009…
Conservatives/Republicans/Tea Partiers sent a huge message August 01, 2012 – we are all, every nationality of which I saw tonight, so very tired of the Liberal thugs, their intimidation tactics, their whining, and their one sided “tolerance” which they ‘think’ they own… but they are the biggest hypocrites when it comes to the pretend tolerance they preach…..
The chicken sandwich I had was very very good and I liked the waffle fries !!…would recommend Chick-fil-a to “everyone” great service!!
America showed up at Chick Fil A yesterday. This is very encourageing in many ways. I am in marketing and this is a home run for the frachise!! Nothing like having customers pay to sample the quality of your products. I will keep going back in support of America and our 1st Amendment rights.
