Abu Bakr al Baghdadi, the leader of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS), has transformed a few terror cells on the verge of extinction into the most dangerous militant group in the world.
Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi or Abu Dua was once held by the US in Camp Bucca Iraq.

But the Obama administration shut down the Bucca prison camp and released its prisoners, including Abu Dua in 2009.The Telegraph reported:

So, bullshit article title notwithstanding, prisoners weren’t “released by Obama.” Prisoners were transferred to Iraqi custody when U.S. military prisons in-country were closed and were relocated by the Iraqis into Iraqi jails. Apparently the Iraqis let him go—assuming this was actually the person they had in custody to begin with.

Reports say that in the rare intances he meets a prisoner, he wears a mask.
Baghdadi cast off al-Qaeda’s leadership in June 2013.
“I chose the command of God over the command that runs against it in the letter,” Baghdadi told al-Qaeda leader Zawahiri, who had tried to bring the rogue commander back into line.
“Ultimately, ISIS seeks to create an Islamic state from where they would launch a global holy war. Perhaps that war is now beginning as Baghdadi’s ISIS eclipses Zawahiri’s al-Qaeda.”

We saw the same thing after Israel started pinpoint missile attacks on leaders in Gaza several years back.
The leader who directed rocket attacks in Israel was killed, replaced by a particular guy.
That guy ordered attacks on Israel and was killed right away, too.
The third guy took longer because he ”led from behind.”
He took a pseudonym.
He moved around a lot.
He stopped ordering attacks on Israel.
He lived until the attacks started back up and Israel had spies in place to find and kill him.
