Ed Schultz says Chicago has no gun laws

This isn’t the self-imposed idiocy commonly exhibited by liberals, but a rarefied strain found in left-wing radio and MSNBC. Ed Schultz, standing astride both, embodies it.

Bad enough that Schultz insisted on his radio show Friday that heck no, gosh darn it, Bill Clinton was absotively, posalutely never tried in the Senate after he was impeached during the Lewinsky scandal. This from a man whose radio program begins with the lead-in, “where truth and common sense rule.”

On that same radio broadcast, Schultz dug deep to reveal he’s not equipped to render a valid opinion about, well, just about anything. Take it away, Big Eddie (h/t, audio, Brian Maloney at mrctv.org) –

The gun laws and the gun violence in Chicago is a helluva lot different than it is in New York City. There’s two different worlds when it comes to gun violence, it’s not even close. New York City is not, you know, an all-safe zone or what not, I’m not trying to make that case. But a city that has got strict, the strictest gun laws in America put forth by Mayor Bloomberg, versus the gun laws that apparently don’t even exist in Chicago, you’ve got two totally different numbers when it comes to lives lost.

I know, hard to believe isn’t it? This from a man paid to bloviate. Correction — this from a man paid by liberals to bloviate. Accuracy not required.

Ed reminds me about how the Travon Martin case got all the coverage because the victim and the ”killer,” were supposedly of the ”correct” colors.
In that case, as in all those Chicago murders, if it doesn’t fit into a leftist agenda and world view, it is of little interest.
Sad really, since Obama calls Chicago his ”hometown,” and his former Chief-of-Staff Rahm Emanuel is now mayor.
An impartial media could have a field day.

Obama’s plan for the 2nd Amendment makes perfect logical sense in a warped, twisted socialistic ideological bizarro world. The Federal government; by either Congressional act, Presidential fiat, or assumed regulatory powers of the alphabet-agencies, enacts Chicago-style gun bans and releases maps on where all the registered guns are. Crime of course skyrockets. Meanwhile the ATF goes Ruby Ridge tracking down every registered gun owner who has suddenly become a criminal. (Wait, wait, you also have to accept the far-left Democrat thinking that the sheeple will meekly surrender their weapons and civil war wont break out.) Just think of all the prison and law enforcement jobs it will create, and those empty FEMA camps will finally be put to use. And the infrastructure jobs to build more concentrati0n camps, …I mean prisons. The financially gutted Defense Department will simply have to follow their Commander-In-Chief’s orders and enforce martial law on the entire nation. Fear of the Federal government will surely keep the people in line, as Obama’s administration ignores the Constitution, Congress and Supreme Court, and uses his Presidential Directives and Executive Orders to disband them and crown himself “His Grand Excellency “Da Won”, Michelle can finally don a crown and be Empress. What could go wrong?
