Dem pollster admits Obama’s amnesty wouldn’t be a positive for Democratic candidates

Brendan Bordelon:

Democratic pollster Mark Mellman admitted on Sunday that President Barack Obama’s plan to grant amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants “would not be a positive” for Democratic candidates in competitive races this fall.

Mellman spoke to Fox News’ Chris Wallace about the Democrats’ prospects in the November midterm elections, with Wallace asking specifically how the White House’s rumored plan to grant legal status to as many as 6 million illegal immigrants would affect the outcome.

“There’s been a lot of reporting that red-state Democrats did not want the president to delay deportations for millions of illegals,” the Fox New host said. “As the pollster in a bunch of those red states, would the idea of executive action be good or bad for those candidates?”

“Look, I don’t think it’s a positive, honestly,” Mellman replied. “Executive action, I think, would not be a positive for those candidates.”

“But the reality is, there’s a lot more at stake here,” he added, claiming that comprehensive immigration reform is a vital task and must be accomplished one way or another.

“But as a strict matter of politics,” Wallace pressed. “If you’re going to do it, you’d rather have it after the midterms rather than before?”

“I would,” Melmann admitted. “But I do politics, not policy.”

Just like Obama does.
That’s why we won’t see his ”executive action on immigration” before the election.
Also political have been the ”transparency” as regards ObamaCare’s numbers.
FLA just announced a HUGE drop in numbers of Floridians on the exchange since the original numbers were published.
But the Obama Admin has dragged its feet with regard publishing those (old) newer numbers.

The Obama administration hasn’t released updated Obamacare enrollment statistics since May, when the Department of Health and Human Services put the number of Florida sign-ups at 983,775 — but the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation says that now, just 762,723 Floridians have health insurance through the exchange.

So he’s going to delay action until after the election. Sound familiar?

Like Clinton, Obama is driven to do what he does by polls. If revoking the citizenship of anyone that is gay polled well and cinched an election, he’d do it. So, if another illegal amnesty does not poll well, he won’t do it… unless he wants to try to lure Republicans into an impeachment battle.

This is the level of desperation this administration and the Democrats find themselves in, mostly due to firing rounds into their own feet with a semi-automatic weapon (one that requires a willful pull of the trigger each time). This alone should tell anyone with a mind what a failure the liberal ideology is. If and when the protective shield of the corrupt media collapses, more certainly will realize this.

Amnesty, with the exception of big business, won’t be positive for anyone, including illegals. I say this because most illegals might not exactly like being suddenly legal (now longer will they get the “hands off” and/or the “look the other way” treatment by law enforcement). This, and the fact that the vast majority have no problems voting (while being illegal) makes this amnesty issue a double edged sword for them.

As for 0Muslim, he’ll jam amnesty down the country’s throat for no other reason than to exercise his tyrannical power. Remember, most leaders don’t feel like they’re “leading” when they follow the desires of their constituents. Politicians are about “leading” and not “following” the will of the people . This is why so many in the DemRino party do the polar opposite of what their constituents want.

This abnormal craving for power, along with corruption and laziness, is perhaps the worst thing about politicians and politics in general.

2/3rds of us Hispanic AMERICANS, mostly Democrats, oppose amnesty and support DEPORTATION: http://tinyurl.com/k5pmyq7
