Video from 1994 has surfaced of David Axelrod, President Obama’s chief campaign strategist, calling former President George H.W. Bush “out of touch” for “tastelessly” playing golf while trying to convince voters that the economy is improving.
“Bush tastelessly did it, often from the ninth hole, and from the cigar boat and other places,” Axelrod said.
Added the adviser: “The impression you got was that he was out of touch.”
More recently, George W. Bush played 24 rounds in eight years (all earlyin his first term), and over the weekend Obama completed his 100th round in three and a half years. Using the Axelrod method, Obama is over eight times more out of touch than Bush was, or something like that.

Obama chews up 5 or more hours out of his day with each golf game.
Let’s say he works all week and only has weekends with his family.
He golfs on weekends.
When he’s not campaigning, that is.
I hope he loses re-election…..for his daughters’ sakes.
When he was running in ’08 people all remarked about what a lovely family they were.

So Bush didn’t like golf as much as Obama—he preferred to chop wood. I’m surprised that people waste more than two sentences on this topic.

Obama doesn’t LOVE golf, he LOVES basketball.
He was waxing all romantic about how he hopes the playoffs go the full 7 games so he has more games to watch.
He once claimed that, given two equals, he would chose the one who played basketball over the other….for his cabinet posts!
I’m surprised Liberal1 wasted two chops to type something at all. Of course he doesn’t get that this is proof that his side is nothing but hypocritical man-childs ranting when republicans do something but grovel the dirt of democrats when the democrat does the exact same thing.
