Nanny Bloomberg hardest hit.
Via WaPo:
The failure of popular Senate gun proposals Wednesday affirmed — even in the wake of Newtown shootings — the rigidity of the politics on the issue.
Lost amid the debate is the fact that for the first time a majority of Americans say having a gun in the household makes it a safer place to be, according to a new Washington Post-ABC News poll.
And they’d be wrong. Besides 90% of Americans and 85% of NRA members supporting new guns laws, households with guns are 7 time more likely to have an accidental shooting or suicide. Keep clinging to your guns, dinosaurs.
@This one:
No, they would be right. The government’s own data on violent crimes stopped by armed, responsible gun owning citizens, supports the Washington-Post’s poll. The CDC reports that since the expiration of the former ineffective assault weapon ban, gun homicides are down 14%. Most real law enforcement officers (the 99%, Not the political appointed “superior” 1%) will tell you that they fully approve of the 2nd Amendment and are opposed to gun bans.
Law enforcement says gun restrictions are ineffective: Survey
No one has been able to find the polls that Obama and the gun control fascists keep claiming. Nor will these gun-grabbing socialists ever provide a link to these so-called polls or even the demographics of who was polled. If it is not a figment of your far-left delusional minds, then you need to prove it. otherwise we can only conclude that you and “the Won” are simply lying again.
Cite or get off the pot.
Ditto. Your name is very telling in repeating the same old tired BS like “Obama and the gun control fascists,” or “gun-grabbing socialists ” You loose all your credibility with this Rush Limbaugh reference. Are you really willing to sacrifice your children or grandchildren for the sake of your uninformed, warped views? I am an NRA member. I hunt. No one wants my shotguns or rifles or even my target pistol. But the M-16 I used in Viet-Nam should not be part of my collection. And it isn’t.
States with stricter gun laws have less violent crime. In 2006, the NRA successfully lobbied Congress to prevent the co0llection of data related to gun sales and crime and to de-fund the ATF. It has been without a Director until last month. They also believe those on the terror watch list should be allowed to have guns.
“Law enforcement says gun restrictions are ineffective: Survey?” Lol! That’s so stupid it’s laughable! Yes, cops would much prefer if homies in the hood have even more AK47’s Lol!!
