Bill Maher on HBO’s Real Time Friday made a statement that will make the Right cheer as the left predictably cringes.
After his guest Brian Levin – the director of the Center for the Study of Hate & Extremism at California State University, San Bernardino – said of the Boston bombings and how it relates to radical Islam, “We have hypocrites across faiths, Jewish, Christian who say they’re out for God and end up doing not so nice things,” Maher marvelously responded, “That’s liberal bulls–t right there”
The Voyage of Discovery, led by Lewis and Clark in 1803, took three years to travel to the West Coast and back. There was a desire to shorten the time for continental travel and mail delivery; the stage coach was the logical choice, but the logistics were almost overwhelming. Yet the relentless stream of coaches continued to arrive at way stations, looking for fresh well-fed horses and possibly a hot meal.

U.S. District Judge Audrey B. Collins rejected a motion from the Santa Monica Nativity Scenes Committee to allow the religious display this season while their lawsuit plays out against the city.

If you drive too many miles and listen to lots of radio personalities over a variety of formats, you realize, some are better speakers than others, some are intelligent, and some are inspirational. The first time I heard Bishop Jackson, I felt a tear roll down my cheek. For a former trapper and hunting guide, getting choked up over a few words is unusual; however, the Bishop Jackson is an unusual man.
