It was just a week ago when Harry Reid and other Democrats told Obama to bypass Congress and hike the debt limit himself: “In the event that Republicans make good on their threat by failing to act, or by moving … Continue reading
It’s ironic that in 2005, when the Democrats were the minority in the Senate, Harry Reid said it was illegal to change the filibuster rules:
First thought is why in the world is Romney being brought up on the floor of the Senate? Why is Harry Reid debating Romney in the Senate when:
The 112th Congress is set to enter the Congressional record books as the least productive body in a generation, passing a mere 173 public laws as of last month. . . . Appropriations bills, once the central function of the legislative branch, have been ditched in favor of short-term spending measures that do little more than keep the lights on.
Now, I’ve been around and seen many a strange thing
And many are despicable, both right and left wing.
Newt was a hoot, and Byrd was one of the same,
Harry Reid had no problem with devining the emotions of Mitt Romney’s deceased father:
“His poor father must be so embarrassed about his son,” Reid said, in reference to George Romney’s standard-setting decision to turn over 12 years of tax returns when he ran for president in the late 1960s.
The dust blasted into the air from the impact of the Obamacare decision hitting Washington has yet to settle but it’s recriminations all around. SCOTUS Chief Justice John Roberts is getting toasted by the right. Mark Levin calls the decision “lawless” and the NY Times and Michael Savage questions Roberts’ mental health status. But hold on- I think Roberts did us a favor.

Imagine if you were employed in a business where one of your duties was to plan an annual budget for each upcoming year and you just decided you weren’t going to do it. And 1,028 days later, you still had not done it.
He and Pelosi and Hoyer and Waxman and the rest of the execrable democrats.
Much has been made about Mitt Romney’s income tax rate and it’s all the same. Sure he’s done nothing illegal but shame on Romney for paying what he owes. It’s his fault. He’s hiding something.
When is anyone going to start getting concerned?
President Obama used his recess appointment powers Wednesday to name a head for the controversial Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and three new members to the National Labor Relations Board — moves Republican lawmakers said amounted to an unconstitutional power grab.
Oh boy….Reid has gone over the edge and he will rue the day once the Republicans retake the majority in the Senate:
In a stunning turn of events this evening, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., used an arcane legislative maneuver to effectively rewrite Senate rules to make it harder for the minority party to force uncomfortable votes on the majority.
