We Can Balance the Budget. Right Now – No Tricks, No Gimmicks, and No B.S. [Reader Post]
We’ve got a federal debt problem, and our political leaders are not taking it seriously. Granted, Paul Ryan was ready to step up and give us a budget that will eventually get us back on the path to fiscal solvency, but even his suggestions were promptly scorched by our president, whose own budget proposal was such an excellent idea that it got rejected unanimously by the Democrat controlled Senate. One of the biggest problems with getting any kind of spending reforms in Washington is that to most people the federal debt is some distant issue, or worse, something that can and should be paid by somebody else. I want to change that. Continue reading →
Illinois offers us a perfect example of what happens when you institute liberal policies, as Obama has done to the entire country:
After trying to tax Illinois to governmental solvency and economic dynamism, Pat Quinn, a Democrat who has been governor since 2009, now says “our rendezvous with reality has arrived.” Actually, Illinois is still reality-averse, so Americans may soon learn the importance of the freedom to fail in a system of competitive federalism.
Runaway spending is causing our doom, so why not spend a bit more. This time to pander to the youth in our country:
Obama told the students that since they were born, tuition and fees at colleges have doubled.
“And that forces students like you to take on a lot more loans, there are fewer grants, you rack up a lot more debt,” Obama stated.
“Can I get an Amen for that?” he asked the crowd who cheered, “AMEN!”
Welfare spending overall has increased 41%, food stamp enrollment has gone up by 70% since Obama has been in office, 5.4 million people have signed up for Social Security Disability payments. Tack on the massive abuse of EBT cards like this heroin dealer: Continue reading →
The Dog Days of Summer Are Here
Some of us are willing to give a tacit seal of approval to people who eat dogs, but if someone has the audacity to tie a dog cage with a dog inside to the top of their station wagon, before embarking on a family vacation, a serious breach of the holy covenant between man and dog has been breached. I assume that most of you know, people in Indo-China, Indonesia, Korea, and our president have enjoyed the flesh of dogs with no misgivings; however, in all the world, no one agrees with securing the family dog to the roof of a car.

Now it’s the speculators and their evil capitalist ways. I mean how dare they want to make a profit? To a Socialist, like this man, it’s pure evil to want to make money. Everything should be done to help the State, all profits should be confiscated and the government should be allowed to decide who is worthy to receive that which they didn’t work for.
This is how this man thinks.
By the way, did we hear these kind of complaints when the price of oil went down to 30 bucks a barrel not so long ago? No, Didn’t think so. Continue reading →
World English Dictionary
zombie or zombi (ˈzɒmbɪ)
1. a person who is or appears to be lifeless, apathetic, or totally lacking in independent judgment; automaton
Obama supporters do not generally have much will. They lack independent judgment. They are automatons. They are easily distracted by shiny objects and Barack Obama has a host of shiny things he uses to distract them from the real issues facing the nation. Continue reading →
Barack Obama is beating the drums for the Buffett rule, which would net about $4 billion per year, but it’s about growth.
Expanding on his reasons to support the “Buffett Rule,” President Obama said it is “not just about fairness” but economic “growth” as well. (Watch in video above.)
“”If you don’t have a record to run on, then you paint your opponent as someone people should run from….You make a big election about small things,” ” – Barack Obama 08/28/08
Obama uttered these words just a few short years ago. It was supposedly a charge against politics as usual.
Now, he is following the politics as usual playbook to a tee. Continue reading →
