And for Barack Obama, it is the words you haven’t heard that matter.

Over the last weeks of Occupy Wall St movement events have proceeded in a predictable fashion. A predominantly white group of spoiled rich kids camped out in Zucotti park has grown into a mob replete with sexual assaults, anti-Semitism, vandalism and violence.

Barack Obama has made clear his support of the OWS.

“The most important thing we can do right now is those of us in leadership letting people know that we understand their struggles and we are on their side, and that we want to set up a system in which hard work, responsibility, doing what you’re supposed to do, is rewarded,” Obama tells ABC News. “And that people who are irresponsible, who are reckless, who don’t feel a sense of obligation to their communities and their companies and their workers that those folks aren’t rewarded.”

Obama took a million dollars from Goldman Sachs in 2008 and has collected more money from Wall St. in this election cycle than all GOP candidates combined.

The fact that OWS has not condemned Obama and has not formed an Occupy White House group utterly invalidates the entire premise of OWS.

Never mind that.

Obama spurs on the OWS movement with via class warfare.

President Obama called Monday for up to $1.5 trillion in new taxes on “the wealthiest Americans and the biggest corporations,” the major part of a debt reduction plan designed to cut more than $3 trillion over the next decade.

“We can’t just cut our way out of this hole,” Obama said during a Rose Garden speech on the national debt that tops $14.5 trillion.

“If we’re going to make spending cuts, many of which we wouldn’t make if we weren’t facing such large budget deficits, then it’s only right that we ask everyone to pay their fair share,” Obama said.

Never mind that ten years of this millionaires’ tax would pay for only four months of Obama deficits.

Never mind that.

Never mind that no left wing millionaires or billionaire have come forward offering his wealth to the nation’s Occupiers.

Never mind that.

Yet as OWS movement turns malignant and violence spreads, it must be remembered that Barack Obama has not asked for peace. He has not asked that the movement be respectful. He has not asked OWS members not to destroy stores and personal property. He has not asked them to avoid assaulting police officers. He has not asked them not to commit sexual assault.

He hasn’t said a word about that. The question is, why not? As the leader of the nation and a supporter of OWS, it is incumbent upon Obama to plead for reason and for peace. Absent them, Obama tacitly endorses the mob actions.

Knarley Manners and I were packing in about twenty horses. We had enough supplies for two months and would be guiding a series of hunters for seven to ten day hunts the whole time. It seems like a lot of hunting pressure, but the area we would be guiding was about 1,800 square miles. There was lots of game and hunters would be hunting several different species elk, moose, sheep, goats, mule deer, black, and Grizzly.

We were fairly confident guides for teenagers; still, there is always that feeling in the pit of your stomach that makes you wonder if the game will be in the area. Animals can quit an area without rhyme or reason and then reappear at a later date out of the blue. I’m sure these mysterious events caused famine among the indians and early settlers; especially, since there are no guarantees when it comes to survival in nature or politics.

Knarley and I moved pack horses well together, we grew up as neighbors and best friends from six miles away. Since we were boys, if we wanted to visit one another it was necessary to saddle a horse and ride over to see your neighbor, hoping your friend would be home. We grew up hunting, fishing, packing, and trapping together; consequently, we always knew what the other one was doing or would do in a tense situation.

Moving twenty seasoned pack horses through the mountains, for us, was fairly routine. The horses were all tied head to tail in two different strings of ten each, except for our saddle horses. The knots were quick release knots that came undone by pulling the end of the tail of the horse in front or by pulling the end of the lead shank of the following horse. You never tie the lead pack horse to your saddle horse’s tail or to your saddle horn; unless, you figure you need a short lease on life. With that much horse power and with the dangers inherent in the mountains and rivers, a rider must be free to move quickly. No matter how careful you are on the trail, there will be an occasional emergency. Knarley and I had seen so many we have forgotten most of them and yet, we still laugh at the ones that were funny.

On this particular trip, Knarley’s uncle would be bringing in new hunters and taking out previous hunters and their trophies with a Beaver DeHavilland float plane. Of corse we needed a base camp close to the lake with plenty of forage for the horses. They would be staying with us for the next two months for better or worse. We hoped we wouldn’t have heavy snowstorms, monsoon rains, or prolonged periods of forty below. There is a certain amount of luck involved with hunting and life, if you don’t have some luck now and then, life is a lot tougher. That’s just the way it is and there is no changing that part of the equation.

We saw a nice campsite at the North end of the lake, from a high elevation, there was a long valley with steep sides that should keep the horses content with feed for several weeks and the position would give us some exposure to all the sun and warmth the clouds let through. We had to climb down a fairly steep hill side, that was no problem, but we ran into a large rock that blocked access to the last sixty yards or so, it was a huge piece of granite sitting on about a 30 degree incline. A man could walk down it, if he were cautious, but it would be suicide for horses. It was four foot high and the lateral ends were embedded in cliff sides, if we could’ figure a way around this big rock we would need to backtrack a half day to get into our camp site. Knarley quickly rode the length of the rock and found a fissure in the rock that might have been a million years old. This huge rock was split from top to bottom with a space just wide enough for a pack horse and his panniers.

Knarley rode down the trail through the rock to make sure there were no unseen problems, while I untied all the quick release knots. The trail seemed simple, but if one horse has a problem, while they are tied, they are all involved in the problem. Knarley rode down the trail without a problem and signaled for me to follow. I led one of the lead pack horses, the type that the others look up to, and I started down with a feeling of trepidation. I was barely into the fissure when I heard the pack horses crowding the entrance to follow. I talked to them in a soothing voice to try and get them to take their time coming down this trail. The last thing I needed was a stampede of pack horses over the top of me. I heard the pack boxes being smashed against the rock walls and I could feel them bumping into my lead pack horse as they kept rushing into the fissure to avoid being left behind.

With a feeling of relief, I broke into the area at the bottom and now the pack horses were coming as fast as they could through the opening. We tied the horses to trees and laughed at how we had skated by disaster once again; except for one problem, Moose, our biggest packhorse with the oversize kitchen panniers was missing. We looked everywhere, but we couldn’t find him.

Suddenly, one of us looked up above to see Moose trying to wedge himself into the fissure. His panniers were at least four inches too wide and he didn’t like the tightness of the rock walls.

Moose came by his name honestly, for when nature designed the moose she might have been hung over. The head is overly large, the neck is short, the legs are long, but the moose can run twenty miles, swim like a fish, split a wolf’s skull with a stabbing strike from a front hoof, and run straight up a frozen cliff as easily as running on open ground. The horse Moose, looked like this most strange member of the deer family from a distance, but he didn’t have the redeeming qualities or at least we didn’t know of any. Knarley entered the fissure on foot to run up to Moose before he came on through and smashed the kitchen gear. I was supposed to talk to him from down below and prevent him from making a disastrous error.

Moose entered the fissure several times and tried to squeeze his way through, but he just didn’t like the tightness of the rock walls. I could see him looking at the top of the huge rock and I could see the slow moving gears turning in his brain.

Suddenly, with the grace of a Whitetail, he jumped up on the rock and stood looking to the bottom. Knarley was now at top speed and I was saying, “No Moose, don’t do it, wait a minute! Knarley will be there to take off the packs and you can walk right down like the rest of them. Don’t do it, Moose.”

All my life, people have told me I have the ability to communicate with horses, but it has been times like this that have kept me from believing them.

Moose took one step forward and suddenly came barreling down like a runaway locomotive with the brakes locked up. You could see the look of disbelief in his eyes as each of his four shoes made a fiery trail of sparks and he struggled to keep his weight over those four shoes. It was a terrifying ten seconds or so until he reached the bottom, if he would have fallen it would have probably been the end of old Moose, but he displayed a tremendous sense of balance. I could smell the hooves burning after the slide and he was picking up each hoof in a futile effort to cool his feet. I led him into the lake and the cooling effect on his hot hooves gave him a noticeable sense of relief.

I looked at his shoes later on. They were as thin as pie plates and the nail heads were almost completely worn away, but they were still on, maybe by inertia alone, but they would stay there until tomorrow when I would nail on another set of shoes.

Now at first glance, this seems to be the kind of story that two old hunters have retold many times to relive the days of their youth, but in a larger sense it is a reflection of the current administration and a continuous series of poor choices.

Recently, our president blamed the Republican party for failing to allow passage of immigration reform; despite controlling all three branches of government for two years. In El Paso, he asked if Republicans are going to insist on moats with alligators before they are willing to accept reform. While prodding the crowd, he managed to get them shouting, “they’re racists”. This technique is being used after playing the racial divide by telling Hispaics to be ready to punish their enemies. This use of vile rhetoric is a decision that is a poor choice of tactics and strategy. Even if President Obama manages to slide down the rock with his shoes sending out sparks, his derisive rhetoric and racism will mar his legacy forever.

President Obama was confused and bewildered over the sudden appearance of an extra $5 trillion of debt during a speech a few weeks ago. Perhaps someone should have written that it was a Democrat controlled government between 2009 and 2011. Perhaps his own debt commission that he ignored might have kept him from jumping up on that rock and embarrassing himself.

If not raising taxes was the plan in December 2010, why has it become imperative to raise them in the spring of 2011? This seems to be the moments of indecision in deciding to force your way through the fissure or to jump on the rock face.

The decision to vote against raising the debt ceiling was an example fiscal responsibility when we owed $8 trillion in 2006, but now that we owe $14 trillion it is unavoidable. Again, we could feel sorry for poor Moose’s indecision, he was but a poor dumb beast faced with difficult decisions.

We are led to believe that to become energy independent, we must give billions to a Soros oil company in Brazil to drill offshore and that act will lower the price of oil; however, it is environmentally dangerous for our companies to drill offshore and they wont affect the price of oil, besides Brazil will benefit from the jobs, but we wont. Again, we see Moose on the rock face and about to take that first step.

In the most recent presidential scolding of big business, Obama tells businesses that they need to break down and start hiring people; while the NLRB brings Boeing into court for having the audacity to build a new plant in South Carolina, a right to work state. In a manner that seems naive, our president thinks businesses make decisions like he does with little or no thought or design. In reality businesses must make decisions that are sound and will keep a business in the black. When businesses are faced with tyranny like the suit by the NLRB, they are one step closer to taking their manufacturing offshore and giving up on the antibusiness policies of Obama.

In the new age of civility prescribed by President Obama, he has the temerity to invite a faux gangster rap artist to the White House to presumably celebrate his work that edifies a cop killer and promotes violent action against former President Bush. Another example of poor decision making by the president that accomplishes nothing, but places his integrity and intelligence in question.

Obama is literally making and changing decisions daily. Drill here, drill there, oh no drilling wont affect the price of oil unless Brazil drills for the oil or we ask the Middle East to pump more oil. He has become reliant on the media to bail him out of his changing positions and ignorant decisions; unfortunately, Obama has become the ultimate hapless bureaucrat who is throwing up ideas to see if anything helps or looks good. The inevitable slide down to the 2012 election has begun. It’s too late to change direction. The policies of the last two and a half years are all he has to reflect on, it is understandable that his feet are beginning to heat up, they will get hotter as he gains momentum. He will call out that the Republicans are racists in desperate cries, but the public is becoming all too aware of Holder’s policy of “Justice for my people” and Obama saying that the Republicans should sit in the back of the bus, but he doesn’t want to listen to them. Such attitudes reflect racial animosity that is deeply rooted within Obama’s psyche, racism that is being rejected by Americans after repeated assaults on America’s attempts at goodwill. America is tired of looking for a statesman and finding someone who thinks the police did something stupid in Boston, or hearing the “Wise Latina” comments from a supreme court nominee, or listening to the Communist rants of Van Jones in a Czar position, or the aforementioned racist rapper in the White House; all of these incidents reflect divisiveness from the man who was supposed to unify the American people in a common cause.

Obama’s dealings with the SEIU and Acorn and his unprecedented favoritism toward these Communist organization tends to leave America breathless as he starts another historic or is that hysterical run down the rock face.

An example of how out of control the Obama Myth has become, but like the sex doll, the real Obama is full of hot air and almost nothing else.

It’s for sure the White House is appalled that we question the integrity and honesty of a president who keeps his past an enigma, like a criminal with a murky past. Some of us want to see the actual birth certificate with all the revealing details, the same one Hillary wanted to see during the primary campaign. Some of us wonder how a lackluster student managed to drift from an also ran college (Occidental) for affluent college kids who can’t hack it in competitive Universities, to a well respected University like Columbia. A place where no one remembers the scholar Obama and his magnificent intellect. He is then thrust into Harvard Law School and on to the Harvard Law Review without writing any papers. He was then appointed to be the Editor of the Harvard Law Review; again he managed this by keeping his stellar performance under wraps, perhaps to avoid embarrassing the law students and professors with his brilliance. Still today, we wait for some evidence of this magna cum laude intellect to make itself known.

But wait! He worked as a community agitator or is that agonizer. Unfortunately, the organization he worked for and managed to funnels billions to, Acorn, was only too happy to oblige a pimp on how to set up a brothel for under age illegal aliens working as prostitutes, not just at one office, but at a number of offices. Now what exactly are the duties of a Community Agitator?

What about you, Ed, are you appalled?

Yes it’s true, the University of Chicago was told to provide him an office and a gig as a guest lecturer, after denying him the position earlier; a guest lecturer is like a guest janitor, occasionally you need them, except the guest janitor position is far more important.

The people who are appalled at the requests for documentation are the ones who work in the West Wing of the White House: the rest of us are appalled that he won’t provide the documentation and the fact that we have been victims of the greatest con job in the history of the world.

Yet another tea party movement forms, and this group will provide more than the usual pride in citizens, standing up against a government they demand be reined in. Why? This tea party movement is made up of those supposed non-existent black Americans. And what gives me yet another smile is that this group is formed right under the nose of Dem Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, who made news in the past two days demonstrating her lack of Constitutional knowledge when she proclaimed any repeal of O’healthcare was unConstitutional.

Grab the Orville Redenbachers, folks…. this is going to be sheer entertainment.

Co-founder of the newest Texas tea party in Houston is a now familiar name, Anita Moncrief. Ms. Moncrief sprang to the forefront back in late March, 2009, when I posted about her exposé of ACORN, and the deliberate attempts by the NYTs to conceal the Obama-ACORN ties. Curt followed up with his May 18th post and additional updates. If Ms. Moncrief were a liberal Democrat, as she stated she was, during her ACORN working days, she is one no more.

As their mission statement reads, in part:

“To build a strong base of conservative Black entrepreneurs, elected officials and constituents that provide Black conservatives a viable way to express and implement their conservative values politically.”

Co-founder Anita Moncrief says the party is also looking to overcome stereotypes.

“We’re trying to break the stereotype that the tea party is racist,” said Moncrief.

Per the above Fox local affiliate report, they observed “at least half” of the 75 who attended the newly formed Crispus Attucks Tea Party were white. While this is apt to be some sort of sticky point for the predictable naysayers who will be appalled at black Americans, daring to question Democrat policies and it’s effect on the black community, the healthier observation is that the Crispus Attucks Tea Party will not be demonstrating any racism, and welcome the community at large.

UPDATED: Per Ms. Moncrief, replying on a Free Republic thread, the notion that it’s a “black tea party” is the headline picked by the media, (and perpetuated, in part, by me). It’s likely it was labeled such because of both the founders, and the majority of citizens in that particular urban neighborhood. Also, the choice of christening their movement after the historic former slave, Crispus Attucks, may have added to the perception that it was a “black tea party”. However, as I mentioned above, and Ms. Moncrief states in her own words below, they welcome the community at large, and this is not an exclusive “black caucus” type meeting of the minds.

This detracts from their tea party formation in no way. They do every tea party movement in the nation proud, and great service, when Moncrief and her neighbors demonstrate that citizens’ disfavor for an out of control government and the decades of increased control has no racial boundary.

This inaugural meeting will be a celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King’s birthday and his leadership. It will also be a celebration of all of those who blazed trails for other Americans and especially for those who have advanced the full assimilation and liberty of the descendants of America’s Black slaves. America is entering a period in time where “Content and Character are indeed more important than Color” for those who prepare themselves to be competitive. That too is worth celebrating

Neither political party has been intellectually honest with itself or Blacks. The Crispus Attucks Tea Party unleashes the anesthetized political giant rendered helpless by an unending stream of government programs funded by tax dollars. Programs, welfare checks and the demise of pride and the work ethic have robbed Blacks of their identities and their dignity. They have devastated Black neighborhoods and rendered them politically and economically impotent. The Crispus Attucks Tea Party will shift political power away from race bating politicians, games of ‘Three Card Monty” played by highly skilled political operators and race hustlers who base all political activities and campaigns on race. Operating within Black districts these charlatans have proven incapable of acting in the best interest of those they claim to represent.

Ms. Jackson Lee? According to Big Government’s James Simpson, she was graciously invited to attend. The Congresswoman did not accept… whether with, or without grace, is not documented or sourced. But I will note this…. James Simpson is one of the editorial board on Ms. Moncrief’s news website, Emerging Corruption. Simpson described la femme Jackson Lee’s response to the invitation as a “snub”. Simpson may have some inside knowledge… that I do not know. But the Congresswoman is not known for her social graces… i.e. her abuse of flight attendants, throwing cell phones at staffers, and making absurd statements about christening hurricanes with “lily white” names. (Mata Musing: it’s an interesting cyber trail, looking for these stories… most of which seem to have been expunged from the internet. Why is that, I wonder?)

Newly elected Texas State Representative James Early White, however did attend… and expressed no qualms about the expected heat he’ll be likely to take as a black elected “in” with tea party ties.

The newest tea partiers named their group after Crispus Attucks, a runaway slave turned sailor/dockworker who was the first to die in the Boston Massacre March 5th, 1770, three and a half years before the Boston Tea Party. Per the library at Thinkquest, he lay in state in Fanueil Hall until, along with three other victims of the Boston Massacre, he was entombed in a common sepulcher.

In 1888, a monument was constructed on Boston Common facing Tremont St. During the dedication, poet John Boyle O’Reilly read a poem called Crispus Attucks:

“Honor to Crispus Attucks, who was leader and voice that day;
The first to defy, and the first to die, with Maverick, Carr, and Gray.
Call it riot or revolution, his hand first clenched at the crown:
His feet were the first in perilous place to pull the King’s flag down:
His breast was the first one rent apart that liberty’s stream might flow;
For our freedom now and forever, his head was the first laid low.
Call it riot or revolution, or mob or crowd, as you may,
such deaths have been seed of nations, such lives shall be honored for aye.”

As with all the tea parties, I wish these folks great success in capturing the ear of their elected officials. But I suspect that their road may be made even more difficult than what we’ve already seen to date.

I picked up this idea from Roger Simon at Pajama Media, but I doubt that he will be concerned. It is time for all the Conservative voters at FA to observe and record with video cameras or even phone video cams, any voter fraud or irregularities at polling stations across the US.

There are a few things to think about before electing to do this covert duty: be familiar with your camera and its functions, (opportunities are often missed because of fumbling at the last second); be familiar with the rules and laws in your state concerning cameras and acting as a casual observer at a polling station; a good way to be close to everything is to volunteer at your local polling station; if you are accosted or attacked, use the Ghandi method of no resistance, at least up to a point (it holds up better in court). Most punches do more damage to the pride than to the body.

If you get some original footage of voting irregularities, Curt or someone will get it up and on the web for the world to see and read about, you will be famous for a few minutes.

Use your head, there will be union goons and Acorn Thugs out there, don’t get hurt or in trouble. Those guys are looking for any excuse to unleash their psychopathic rage on a person whom they see as an enemy and remember they have President Obama and Attorney General Holder backing their illegal actions and fits of rage with freedom from prosecution for minorities and union members.

In what is tandamount to a PR press release, Kate Linthicum at the LA Times reports that ACORN California has broken away from it’s “embattled” national parent organization. Cited throughout the article are ACORN higher ups, expressing their concern over ACORN’s tarnished reputation, and their distraction with legal challenges interfering with the mission ACORN.

Yet the face of the new ACORN will essentially remain the same as the old… only the name has changed.

The new group will have the same mission, will be staffed by many of the same employees who worked for ACORN, and will be funded by most of the same donors, said Amy Schur, the former head organizer for California ACORN.

Schur sits on the interim board of directors for the new group, the Alliance of Californians for Community Empowerment, which was incorporated in California on Monday. ACCE is seeking federal nonprofit status.

Schur said ACCE plans changes, including outsourcing accounting and forming an advisory council of 22 community leaders, in order to avoid the problems with finances and management that made ACORN vulnerable to conservative attacks.

Schur said California members were looking for local control and were frustrated by a lack of transparency. In 2008, it was revealed that top ACORN leaders had tried to hide the embezzlement of nearly $1 million from the organization nine years ago by the brother of ACORN founder Wade Rathke.

Keith Rohman, president of the Los Angeles City Human Relations Commission and chairman of ACCE’s advisory council, said the new California group “is an opportunity to take what is best and leave behind what was not so good.”

It might have behooved the LA Times reporter to do a bit more background on the “new ACORN” vs the “old” ACORN before taking their “concerns” at face value. Amy Schur… [now former] head organizer for ACORN California… is the very same face behind the revised and less than convincing defense for ACORN worker, Tresa Kaelke in Sept 2009. Kaelke was, of course, the unwitting star of the California ACORN exposé. Ms. Schur’s PR answer was to suggest Ms. Kaelke was just “messing with” the intrepid duo behind the ACORN video scandals.

The woman, identified on the video as Tresa Kaelke, appears on posted footage to be interested in cooperating the plan. However, California ACORN head organizer Amy Schur said the video is a gross misrepresentation of what actually happened.

“In this video, there are two actors who come into our office and who were messing with us. And our employee was messing with them,” Schur said.

So much for the “new ACORN” entity’s chief…

Keith Rohman’s not alone in his praise for the old group, now masquerading as the new group. The Bay Area’s alternative/progressive blog, Beyond Chron, is celebrating the new entity if, for nothing else, “…dashing the hopes of Fox News and other right-wing media who hoped to weaken grassroots power by de-funding ACORN.” uh… think this has anything to do with money?? duh wuh

Mr. Rohman thinks this will be much better because the “new” ACORN will be putting an advisory council for financial oversight. A council headed, I might add, by Mr. Rohman.

Distinctively absent from the LA Times article is a factoid that Rohman is founder of Public Interest Investigations, Inc out of LA. This firm, self-described as …”a trusted ally of law firms, corporations, and governmental entities seeking to understand the truth”…. was the same firm hired by the families of the Iraqi victims in the Blackwater lawsuit. In light of that lawsuit’s recent dismissal, they may want to ask for a refund.

Now one has to wonder about the incestuous relationship between an investigative firm providing independent (and supposedly neutral) services, and that company’s founder chairing an “advisory council” for the new ACORN.

Another indication this is all about getting the money is the corporation’s SOS filer herself. The new entity’s registration on the California SOS site shows the application was filed by Marina Delgado out of San Diego. Per Ms. Delgado’s LinkedIn profile page, she’s been the ACORN California operations direct since June 2008. Her own job description show her function is all about the money….

- Researching possible funding sources
- Donor relationship management
- Writing major grant applications
- Developing internal fundraising strategies with local offices

Handy filing, since financial support for ACORN has been falling steadily with the three strikes of scandal… embezzlement, voter fraud and the latest videos hitting YouTube. Then, of course, there’s the the loss of the census contract for ACORN, and Congressional defunding.

John Atlas, a New Jersey writer who recently completed a history of ACORN, said that members with similar complaints in other states were considering following California’s lead. He and others said donor support has plummeted.

“The foundations that have been keeping ACORN going, they’ve cut ACORN off at the knees,” said Peter Dreier, a professor at Occidental College who teaches community organizing.

Last fall, after the House voted to bar ACORN from receiving federal funds, ACORN’s chief executive, Bertha Lewis, blamed the woes on “a multiyear political assault stemming variously from the Bush White House, Fox News and other conservative quarters” and vowed to not let the restrictions cripple her organization.

One has to appreciate the irony of the “blame Bush” factor here. It was, of course, their membership’s and leaders questionable actions that drew fire, and a supermajority Congress with Dem POTUS that “cut” them off “at the knees”.

The “new” ACORN is taking the suggestions of the internal investigation report by Proskauer last month. While the report did not suggest they simply break off, it did suggest shaving down their diverse fingers in the pie into two 501s specializing in their area of expertise… “community organizing and citizen engagement empowerment”, plus related services.

Proskauer suggested this be structured in two 501(c) 3 and 4 entities… a 501(c)3 for charitable, non-profit fundraising and education, and a separate 501(c)4 to support “community organizing and political activity”. Or, more simply translated, a non-profit lobby division that can engage in political campaign activity, (so long as it’s consistent with the organization’s purpose, and is not the organization’s primary activity)

This “internal” investigation funded by ACORN itself came under fire by Republicans on the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA), who sits on the committee, penned a scathing indictment of the report for Big Government, labeling it a “whitewash”, and an “audit it bought”.

Specific to the recommendations of the dual 501(c) setup, Rep. Issa said:

Either Mr. Harshbarger is suggesting that ACORN engage in illegal activities by using its 501(c) (4) to campaign for the election of Democratic candidates, or Mr. Harshbarger is expressing his profound ignorance and a lack of professional due diligence because the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (“ACORN”) has never been tax-exempt, but a taxable state-registered corporation filing IRS FORM 1120 for corporate income taxes.

The structure of the “new” ACORN has not been so explicitly detailed in any of these early PR announcements. But it will be curious to follow their sought non-profit status and whether they do indeed provide an arm for political campaign activity.

But from their choice of leadership, and the convenient timing of losing cash left and right, the new ACORN alliance is simply the same wilted rose by another name. And a very clever way to reclaim both the private and federal cash they are losing.

Gotta love this…..a Clinton appointed judge has ruled in favor (pdf) of ACORN in their suit to stop Congress from defunding them and in essence saying that once an organization gets payments from the federal government then Congress can no longer decide to stop those payments unless a court rules they are guilty of some law breaking.

Rep. Darryl Issa:

On the same day that ACORN’s violation of Delaware state lobbying laws was revealed, a liberal, Clinton-appointed activist Judge has ruled to usurp the prerogatives and authority of the United States Congress. This left-wing activist Judge is setting a dangerous precedent that left-wing political organizations plagued by criminal accusations have a constitutional entitlement to taxpayer dollars. The Obama Administration should immediately move to appeal this injunction.

Just remember what Andrew Breitbart said:

Hannity: Are you saying, Andrew, that there are more tapes?

Breitbart: Oh my goodness there are! Not only are there more tapes, it’s not just ACORN. And this message is to Attorney General Holder: I want you to know that we have more tapes, it’s not just ACORN, and we’re going to hold out until the next election cycle, or else if you want to do a clean investigation, we will give you the rest of what we have, we will comply with you, we will give you the documentation we have from countless ACORN whistleblowers who want to come forward but are fearful of this organization and the retribution that they fear that this is a dangerous organization. So if you get into an investigation, we will give you the tapes; if you don’t give us the tapes, we will revisit these tapes come election time.

The activist judges can stop this trainwreck for only long.

Just more evidence that your common criminal is just plain retarded:

On October 1st, 2009 California Attorney General Jerry Brown announced that an investigation had been opened into ACORN’s activities in California, resulting from undercover videos showing employees seemingly offering to assist the undercover film makers with human smuggling, child prostitution and even tax advice to boot.

Although ACORN has denied any wrongdoing, some of the employees involved were terminated, and ACORN has publicly stated that they would fully cooperate with any investigations that followed.

Interestingly, the local head ACORN organizer in California, David Lagstein was caught on tape earlier this month speaking to an East County Democratic Club.

Mr. Lagstein stated: “…the attorney general is a political animal, but certainly every bit of the communication we have had with them has suggested that the fault will be found with the people that did the video and not the people with ACORN.”

Continuing, Mr. Lagstein stated: “…we are fully cooperating, some of the investigators visited our office this morning and I think they really understand what’s going on.”

Shockingly, we now learn that the ACORN office in National City (San Diego County) engaged in a massive document dump on the evening of October 9th, containing thousands upon thousands of sensitive documents, just days prior to the Attorney General’s visit.

BigGovernment.com has learned that not only did this document dump occur, but the documents in question were irresponsibly and brazenly dumped in a public dumpster, without considering laws and regulations as to how sensitive information should be treated.

And Andrew Breitbart has the evidence. All those documents were retrieved and they include personal information belonging to employees and clients of ACORN…..AND

ACORN’s political agenda is also exposed, with thousands upon thousands of documents revealing the depth of the political machine that is ACORN, and its disturbing ties to not only public employee labor unions but some of the most radical leftist organizations.
