Robin Abcarian was probably excited about the prospect of covering the horsey story of Ann Romney, while trying to gain political traction for the failed presidency of Barack Obama; however, writing an article on a minnow in the shark tank and trying to expose the secrets of life in the shark world is laughable.

Apparently, Ann Romney sold a horse and the horse turned up lame at a later date. Does Robin know how many advanced Dressage Horses turn up lame at some point. I’ll let you in on a little secret, Robin, nearly all of them. Lameness finishes up all the careers of dressage, jumpers, hunters, and three day event horses; it is not a question of “will” or “if”, it is a question of “when”.

It was the end of a long day in a stuffy Simi Valley office building. Ann Romney had been under oath for more than four hours, testifying in a sometimes contentious deposition about a pricey horse she sold that may or may not have been afflicted with a condition that made him unrideable.

In the airless room, Romney was getting annoyed.

“That really is — that really is irritating,” she said when the opposing attorney implied she didn’t know who looked after her horse in Moorpark when she was at her home in Boston. “Of course I know who was looking after my horse. You’re just trying to irritate me.”

Stupidity and overwork on the part of a rider or trainer can lead to premature lameness, but if a horse continues to advance and compete, they will eventually become lame. (Ask any human athlete at the upper levels if he has lameness) There are a few “iron horses” that never display lameness, but they are approximately one in a thousand.

Is Dressage an Elitist Sport? It can be, especially, if you ride in Sullivan Canyon, Beverly Hills, Malibu, Calabasas, Thousand Oaks, Hidden Valley, and Moorpark; however, there are low scale operations in those areas, where the riding is comparatively inexpensive. Although, I must report, some of the Liberals’ biggest and wealthiest donors and fat cats are horse owners who live in these areas and their horse stories of indulgence would make delightful reading material for many Americans. I am sure they would gain far more traction than Ann Romney’s deposition over a horse deal that went south. (Not an uncommon event by the way, but when someone feels like a fool in California, someone else should pay.)

When we speak of spending excessive amounts of money on equine indulgences, comparing the Libs in Sullivan Canyon and Malibu, to Ann Romney in Moorpark, would be like running a race between a freight train and a fat man. The LA Times might call some of the Lib Fat Cats with horses and ask if they mind having their horse indulgences opened up to the internet. Ask if they want the public to know of luxury bathrooms in barns that cost more than most homes in California or if they want to hear of wood from Africa and South America being used to build stalls for their horses. Luxury digs for horses within twenty or thirty miles of people living in the drug infested squalor of the ghettos of LA. The same ghetto dwellers for whom they pretend to care for so self-righteously.

Ann Romney says she loves her horses and I believe her; although, I have never worked for her and I don’t know her, but I recognize her compassion for animals, for people like her, people with genuine or real compassion for horses, generally have the same compassion for humans.

Many horse owners have no compassion for horses when they can no longer perform, they become more like inanimate objects; to be frank, they become disposable, they become devoid of value when they no longer allow the limelight to shine upon the rider. They are discarded with extreme indifference, for they have served their purpose. This is the real story, a story of cold callous cruelty, especially, among those who wear false compassion on their sleeve.

“It’s like children,” Romney, a mother of five, testified about Super Hit, the horse at the center of the lawsuit. “You don’t … say one is better than the other, but I loved him.”

Ann Romney spends her own money on her horses, she feels they are therapeutic and for those of you who have read my articles on horses, you probably know, I agree with her.

Romney, who rode horses as a girl, began riding seriously as an adult after being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1998. “I was losing most of the function of my right side,” she testified at her deposition on June 3, 2010. “And I decided I needed to go back and do what I loved before I couldn’t do it anymore.”

She soon fell in love with dressage, a fussy Olympic sport that is also called “horse ballet.” In dressage, a horse moves in delicate, dance-like steps to music as the rider, formally clad in top hat and tails, imperceptibly guides the animal.

Because it requires tremendous muscle control, dressage also provided Romney unexpected therapeutic benefits.

“Riding exhilarated me; it gave me a joy and a purpose,” Romney told the Chronicle of the Horse magazine in 2008. “When I was so fatigued that I couldn’t move, the excitement of going to the barn and getting my foot in the stirrup would make me crawl out of bed.”

So now, we know why Romney is not suited for the presidency. His wife sold a horse that became lame and during a deposition she became annoyed with a lawyer or maybe it is because she has a healthy hobby, a hobby she pays for with her own money, instead of flying around on vacations at taxpayer’s expense with an entourage. Oh excuse me, Michelle’s vacations are to promote good will around the world and show poor people how the Obamas can spend money on indulgences like separate jets to vacation hot spots, now there is an indulgence.

I would rather write about more significant political ideas, but if the LA Times wants to continue trying to smear Ann Romney over senseless and inane horse trivia, they might be surprised at the some of the secrets of the elite equestrian world.

The Campaigner-in-chief comes out of the closet to milk the celebrity cash cows:

(CNN) — Hollywood pulled off another blockbuster as a star-studded guest list delivered $15 million into the campaign coffers of President Barack Obama Thursday night.

The fundraiser at the home of actor and activist George Clooney in the Studio City neighborhood of Los Angeles attracted dozens of guests including Clooney’s girlfriend, actress/model Stacy Keibler; DreamWorks studio executive Jeffrey Katzenberg; designer Diane Von Furstenberg; Barbra Streisand and her actor husband James Brolin.

Hollywood…America’s last best hope [/sarcasm]. With Biden out apologizing for supposedly “jumping the gun”, the timing of it all (including the Romney bully#%$* story) seems suspiciously intentional. Could President Obama have raised so much at this event had he not come out of the closet in support of gay marriage? The announcement certainly energized his base:

Hollywood is a traditional source of funding and adulation for Democratic presidents, though there have been persistent reports that Tinseltown feels it has not been feeling sufficient love from Obama.

Many in California remember the attention that former president Bill Clinton lavished on them. Hollywood was also a prime source of funding for Clinton’s wife Hillary when she ran against Obama for the Democratic nomination in 2008.

Fundraisers say the donations began pouring in within minutes of the news Wednesday that Obama, who said he had been “evolving on the issue” for months, affirmed his support for the right of same-sex couples to be married.

Fundraisers said many donors have chosen to max out their contributions to the campaign and the Democratic Party over the past day as a sign of support for the president’s stance. Donors this year can give $5,000 to Obama and $30,800 to the Democratic National Committee, as well as additional amounts to committees formed to help Obama in swing states.

“Here I thought the LGBT community was already knocking it out of the ballpark for Obama, and now I see they’ve expanded the ballpark,” said Andrew Tobias, a longtime gay rights activist and treasurer of the DNC. “And many of my straight donors are energized as well. People are excited up and down the line.”

On Thursday night, Obama was slated to attend a $40,000-a-plate dinner at the Los Angeles home of actor George Clooney that could net as much as $16 million in donations online and in person, top donors said.

The campaign has called that number too high but has declined to provide further details. The event could turn out to be the most profitable presidential fundraiser since unlimited donations to political parties were banned a decade ago.

The president is scheduled to return to Los Angeles on June 6 for an LGBT gala to be attended by up to 700 people. Lawyer Dana Perlman, who is helping to organize the event, said he was “ecstatic” about Obama’s endorsement of same-sex marriage and says he expects gay men and lesbians to respond with contributions.

“This man has come out 100 percent for our community, and each and every member of the community must now step up and do everything he or she can to see that he is reelected,” Perlman said.

Really?! “100 percent”?! As far as I can read it (and not that I’m the only one), unless President Obama is still revol- er, I mean “evolving”, he came out and expressed the bare minimum:

Nothing, however, is more pathetic than the opening of this clip where Stewart actually says out loud that what Obama did was to put principle over politics.

We have joined the debate like adolescents cheering their favorite sport team. This debate of Gay Marriage has been manipulated to be a diversion, so that we forget the important issues: issues like our economy, the international failures of Obama, the acquisition of an American bank by China, the fact that we have no budget, Obama’s use of our military as political pawns (“when I think about those soldiers or airmen or marines or sailors who are out there fighting on my behalf and yet feel constrained”), the fact that we have a corrupt and racist Justice Department.

Yet, we want to argue the most shallow issue, Gay marriage and the cause of the Gay Liberal, why?

The Gay Conservative is a noble being, who receives precious little recognition. He is not consumed by an issue that may not be the omnipotent answer to all things Gay; he sees through the hype and realizes there are more important issues than marriage on the horizon. Yet, too many of us are being swept up in the Gay marriage debate like it is the pivotal debate point of 2012. The Gay Liberal and the Progressive hucksters are glad to have you so committed to the debate, for you then have less time to dwell on realistic issues like the economic survival of our country and the leadership of a president whose loyalties are dubious at best.

Yes, our wishy washy president, has ever evolving opinions on the issue, but what has he contributed to our country, other than divisiveness, strife , turmoil, and suffering.

You can make waves in the wading pool and practice your different swimming strokes, but you are playing another man’s game and impressing on one, but you may be assured, the Progressives will be encouraging you to continue your silliness of acting like an olympic swimmer in the shallow water.

She obviously figures she owes her success to her ability to manipulate the victimization of America’s First Nation People to secure a teaching position at Harvard; since, according to Ms Warren, no one achieves success on their own.

I hear all this, you know, ‘Well, this is class warfare, this is whatever. No. There is nobody in this country who got rich on his own — nobody.

You built a factory out there? Good for you. But I want to be clear. You moved your goods to market on the roads the rest of us paid for. You hired workers the rest of us paid to educate. You were safe in your factory because of police-forces and fire-forces that the rest of us paid for.

You didn’t have to worry that marauding bands would come and seize everything at your factory — and hire someone to protect against this — because of the work the rest of us did.

Now look, you built a factory and it turned into something terrific, or a great idea. God bless — keep a big hunk of it. But part of the underlying social contract is, you take a hunk of that and pay forward for the next kid who comes along.

What Delusion Does Warren Live In

Thus Warren justifies the theft of identity and her selfish use of another’s victimization by using her dubious claim of being 1/32 Cherokee. A boast that put her in the front of the line to be hired at Harvard by providing two minority Affirmative Action claims: that of being a woman and that of being a First Nation individual. Being part of the only minority group that is a majority, is not being disputed, since being a woman requires no prescribed amount of integrity, but this claim of being a blonde haired blue eyed Cherokee might raise a few eyebrows on the reservation.

Warren would have been more accurate by claiming to be a Marxist, such a claim would have been more believable after she exposed her Marxist beliefs than her claims of being the only blue eyed blonde Cherokee in the history of the Cherokee Nation.

While our president crusades with an unrealistic plan to tax the rich to pay for his profligate spending and bring the country back to what now seems like a Capitalist pipe dream, the elusive pre-Obama economy. Obama Elites, who are almost always rich, but don’t seem to pay taxes or worry about them, agree with the old Marxist parable, “tax the rich to spread the wealth around,” at least, as long as no one dips into their private accounts. If Obama stays in power, their money is safe, that’s the way his system works. While the public frets over wether Obama is a Statist or a Marxist, he keeps trying to make the old failed Marxist principles work. Apparently, the Marxists of history didn’t understand how to run a Statist economy or so Obama must reason, to keep from being collectively diagnosed as a psychotic, by doing the same experiment repeatedly and expecting a different result.

Taxing the rich and the productive people of society, in order to give the money to non-productive members of society, is like beating your head against a wall to rid yourself of a headache. It may seem like a good idea to the naive and stupid, but eventually, your situation becomes worse or desperate. The wall maintains its integrity, but your head and your ability to reason is in an indirect proportion to the time spent beating your brains to a pulp.

Marx argued that the Socialists of the 19th Century continued to fail because they neglected to address the economic issues, and he was regarded as a brilliant thinker, his formula for the evolution of Socialism into Communism incorporated the concept of Wealth Redistribution. Obama incorporated Wealth Redistribution as a major portion of his election platform in 2008 and it has been an underlying principle of his economic policies. In the beginning, Marx was content to describe his theories in newspapers, but in 1848 he published, “The Communist Manifesto”; in 1867, he wrote the more notable book, “Das Kapital”. The brilliance of Marx has been the silent epitaph for over a hundred million, but Obama is not one to let the failures and the disasters of every experiment in Marxism and Statism deter his idealism.

The major problem with Marxism, a problem described by Orwell in his book, “1984″ and later illustrated so poignantly by Obama during what may charitably become known as America’s Malignant Presidency, is the problem of reallocation of wealth or the Redistribution of Wealth, since the creation of wealth in Marxism or Statism is extremely laborious and difficult.

Marx believed that the problem with the socialism of his day was that it failed to deal in a realistic manner with economic issues. He proposed that his new (Communist) economic system, which called for redistribution of wealth, was more equitable. But in time and with application, it became clear that this system fails as well; in part, because it requires people to be altruistic and to live like ants or for the community rather than to advance the concept of self. Unfortunately, working for the benefit of others over self is not in harmony with human nature. Marx advanced a secular solution to a spiritual problem. But by its very nature, a spiritual problem can be solved only on a spiritual level.

Wait, wait, Progressive Marxist sympathizers may be tempted to work themselves into a coronary, but let’s consider some basic facts. Increasing taxes will always dry up a percentage of an economy, because a finite amount of money evacuates the economy and the economy becomes less dynamic. If at a certain moment in time, 45% of the money of an economy is taxed, the economy is weakened by 45%. Nancy Pelosi has argued that the money isn’t lost because it is fed back through the economy in the form of welfare and food stamp programs. But this requires a caveat. Before the money was taxed out of the economy, wealth was being created, goods and services were provided, and the economy was healthy and dynamic. But when money is taken from the economy and given to non-productive people to spend, no wealth is being created. The economy becomes anemic with false values and a loss of 45% of the economy’s capacity for the creation of wealth.

In an imaginary economy of Dystopia, the United Socialist States has $20 dollars, but a wealthy man has the $20 dollars and has decided to sit on the entire amount, except for his personal living expenses, say $2 a year. The rest of the people of Dystopia will be falling over one another to get a few cents of that two dollars to be able to feed their families and repair the roof over their heads and be glad to get a portion of that small pittance of the national economy of Dystopia. The money is spent in desperation by each citizen of Dystopia, who feels lucky to earn some of the limited money supply. They feed their families and provide whatever comforts they can afford with their share of the limited money supply as it is spent solely on the basics required for subsistence.

These few pennies of wealth are spent over and over throughout the economy. This economy is said to possess a limited money supply. However, if the wealthy person see the opportunity to “Create wealth” by investing a portion of his capital in a business or the manufacture of a product, the capacity of the money supply of Dystopia will begin to increase exponentially.

The investment that our imaginary capitalist has seen is in the form of ceramic tiles for the roofs of the homes of Dystopia’s citizens. It will take $14 of wealth to manufacture the roofing tiles, but since there is demand for this inexpensive product that can be produced and sold to turn a profit, the enterprise seems promising. Our theoretical capitalist thinks there is an opportunity to increase his fortune and create wealth within the community. The wealth created is not limited to the bank account of the capitalist; the actual wealth is recorded in the higher standard of living provided by the jobs and the spinoff industries that spring up to service the roofing industries.

It is the $14 dollars that invigorated the economy; once people had income beyond substance levels, they had the option of being a Hedonist and spending money on indulgences, sitting on money like the capitalist did before he saw opportunity, or trying to create wealth by investing in a business or creating another product. A group of human beings will provide examples of all three, but more importantly, the economy is invigorated as the $14 turns over almost every business day. People are seeing their standard of living improve weekly and the economy is not only healthy, it is strong. People have faith in the future and they are not afraid to take economic risks.

Obama has created the antithesis of a healthy economy. The money supply is dwindling. People who can invest have little confidence in the future and the money supply is turning over in a manner much closer to early Dystopia when the rich man sat on his assets rather than risk his money in a “Down” economy.

But Obama has the answer, he will tax the rich and spread the wealth around; unfortunately, the wealthy producers see the economic climate and close up their wealth and innovative creativity like a turtle hiding in his shell.

A fading actress and empty vessel has exposed more than her genitalia to the public, Cybil Shepherd known for her appearances in “The Last Picture Show” and for a nude photo session in Playboy, launched into a semi-coherent rant on straw men and GOP bullies who plan to take away her “Constitutional” right to abortions and condoms, during an appearance on “CBS This Morning”.

She has vowed to stand up to these straw men (?) and put her life on the line to protect the Constitutionally protected rights of abortion on demand and government provided condoms and contraception, for those moments when a girl loses control of her emotions and can no longer accept responsibility for her actions. She has become the geriatric fluke for those countless women who can’t keep their legs crossed when someone whispers sweet promises of roles or advantages in their ear or tickles their fancy with wild and ruthless abandon.

“Abortion is our constitutional right,”

She then told the world about her plan to march on Washington wearing a bullet proof vest, in a one woman march. She informed the audience that both she and her mother fear for her life over her defiance and courageous willingness to stand up to the straw men of the GOP. She worries that they will strike her down, before she has a chance to speak out on her feelings.

“I’m not going to wear a bulletproof vest. My mother’s scared for me,”

Oh Cybil, the world admires your selfless struggle for the right to kill fetuses on demand and your right to demand free condoms and pills that allow you to fornicate on demand to avoid all those inconvenient pregnancies and having to endure so many abortions, but before you are fitted for a custom kevlar vest that will exploit your feminine charms to their best advantage, please take the time to explain where in the Constitution you have the right to abortions on demand and free contraception.

I’m sure you will draw a lot of attention to your cause and the election of the Third World dog eater in the White House by cavorting down Pennsylvania Avenue with nothing on but your pink kevlar vest with its plunging neckline and your ample cleavage peeking out so shyly, but while exposing your ass once again to the world, please share with us your vast and intimate knowledge of the Constitution. Not in the biblical sense of knowing, for even Hollywood Elites with hinges on their heels will find it hard to know the Constitution by sleeping with it; just try to explain why the rest of us are responsible for your poor decisions and willingness to engage in a degenerate life-style.

Cybil in all seriousness, your concern about being the next to be “taken out” or in reality the first one to be taken out, I suggest you seek professional help, for such paranoia is most often attributed to illicit drugs or psychosis; either way, you should seek treatment rather than leading other simple minded souls astray with your senseless rants. I realize that actors are judged by their ability to lead others beyond the realm of reality, but you have no script and you are reading from your own delusions. Do the world a favor and accept the fact that young, beautiful, empty headed actresses can command attention, but middle aged, empty headed actresses will never re-inflate their sagging careers and body parts with senseless rants and self-serving theatrical heroics when no danger exists.

There are facts of life Cybil, facts that are more important than one night stands and the indiscriminate but oh so important sessions on the casting couch, we all age Cybil, some of us age better than others, but if we travel through life relying on a transient beauty, we have much less dignity for the stretch run. Unfortunately, bimbos without a credible cerebral capacity have little or no relevancy in later life. Trying to be relevant when you have obviously compromised your intellect to fine tune the power in your loins, leaves you short on the skills required for life when no one is lusting for 3o minutes of wild and wooly humpy rumpy with you. Black Teenager Shawn Tyson found two White British tourists walking drunk through the wrong neighborhood, stripped them of their clothes, forced them to their knees, and had them beg for their lives before shooting them repeatedly.

Although their families have asked our president to respond to this senseless crime of wanton violence in three different letters, he has ignored their pleas and has focused on the Martin shooting; presumably, to gain political traction in the upcoming election, since the Martin shooting fits the template of Blacks being victims rather than killers.

The two best friends were on a holiday from Britain and failed to realize the danger of Whites walking in a Black neighborhood. Thus they paid for their mistake after a night of drinking with their lives. Their valuables were left at the scene and we can only assume that Tyson killed them for the sadistic joy of committing murder and mayhem.

The parents of these young men and the people of Britain are asking why this post racial president is only concerned with the shooting death of a Black youth, but not the senseless killing of Whites by a Black youth. The president could have a son that resembles Shawn Tyson, the world is waiting for him to embrace this misguided homicidal maniac like he embraced the young Martin. Then maybe he could enlighten the world on this senseless violence based on race.

The Paternal Instinct Of A Father

Apparently, he is worried about his daughters and the world they will live in as adults. I am sure he will want them to be Elites in the Marxist Utopian dreams he has envisioned, it is so much better than that dreadful poverty the rest of us will be trapped in, but one thing for sure, he will want them to be respected by men and the public. The thought of public disrespect directed towards them or women in general, is too horrible to think about. That is why he has called Ms Fluke, the woman who attends an expensive Jesuit law school, but can’t afford or can’t date someone with enough sense to afford contraception.

But life has some harsh realities. Ms Fluke the political activist, might think back to the Madam of the local whore house telling the hormone enraged teenage boy, “If you want to play, Sweetie, you must pay.” She could have told him to take a cold shower or to put a rubber band around it, but she offered sage advice to a young boy on the threshold of manhood, very useful advice. Perhaps the same advice President Obama should be giving his daughters if he wasn’t a Marxist; for it would be much more likely to help them and prepare them for the future, than the Marxist refrain, the government provides so don’t sweat it.

Unfortunately, Progressive Marxists are quick to disrespect women, a habit that will come back to haunt them in a few months; since Obama, and other self-righteous Progressive Marxists find it perfectly acceptable to have a comedienne stand up and talk about Palin showing up at the Republican convention in this manner, “holding a baby that just came out of her f*cking disgusting c*nt, her f*cking retard-making c*nt.” Now some of us might take exception to the language; especially, since Obama seems to think that the mentally handicapped are fair game for humor. I suppose that is part of the Leftist perversions that are generally considered acceptable among the loyal; in essence, being mean spirited to those who can’t fend for themselves. One of the most notable Socialists, Adolf Hitler had a special mean interest in these “Retards” as well; except, he took meanness toward “Retards” one step farther.

There are others who might take offense at the vulgar language this Leftist comedienne used to degrade all women, since to use the expressions in referring to a political opponent, with official impunity, makes it acceptable for all Progressive Marxists to degrade women: but on the flip side, it also becomes acceptable to refer to Michelle and her daughters using the same language; after all, didn’t Obama give it his tacit approval by not condemning this sewer language from two of his loyal Hollywood supporters, Louis C.K. the nimble mind who came up with the quote in the previous paragraph and Bill Maher, who called Palin a f*cking c*nt and a tw*t. As a standing rule, I never use such foul language, nor do I allow it to be used in my company. If I hate someone that much, we can step into the ring. But these gutter rats find it cute and a way to build a fan base, and our president doesn’t mind in the least; especially, since Maher gave him a million dollars. However, there are two major problems, that become patently obvious as a result of this classless public discourse: first is the complete lack of class among the Progressive Marxists who listen to these degenerates, second is the classless president who condones this vile tasteless behavior, so reminiscent of the squalor and degeneracy of the lowest constituencies he represents. He has now brought the language of the ghetto to the highest levels of political discourse. Oh, but why take offense, he is the one who has approved this new level of discourse by not condemning the language of his loyal supporters.

In the past, I would have stood up for the president and his family, not because I like them, but because I once had respect for the office; however, if someone wants to refer to Michelle and her reproductive parts being in some foul condition, have at it. You won’t get a fist up side your head from me. No sir, our president likes and approves of that kind of gutter talk, he is obviously capable of dealing with it, so do your worst; all you will get from me is a smile. Who Made These Bones

This fossil skull is between 11,000 and 14,500 years old, according to radio carbon dating of samples from their campfires in caves of southwestern China. There are unique features of this skull and of at least two other specimens that make this find unique. Notice the bony protrusion of the cheek area, the width of the face in the region temporal mandibular joint, the excessive bony structure of the mandibular rami, the massive molar structure, the anterior portion of the jaw is protruding and massive, the bony structures suggest a massive mandibular musculature, the eye sockets are large and broad, perhaps indicating an individual with superior eyesight. The wear of the incisors suggest a seed and plant eater who relied heavily on those feed sources at least seasonally and probably more often, especially when the hunting or trapping failed. Every hunter/trapper who knows how to set snares, knows that it is much easier to snare deer or trap them in blind canyons and kill them as you need them, a type of primitive animal husbandry and meat preservation, but professional anthropologists have never visited a primitive hunting group like this because there are none.

Did this creature die because his lower incisors overwhelmed the upper incisors, causing infected gums and impacted teeth, making it impossible to eat roots,nuts, and seeds, thus did it become too painful for him to masticate the plant materials with the lower incisors cutting into the upper gum and against the impacted remnants of the upper teeth?

Were his teeth and that powerful jaw that served him so well, responsible for his demise? It happens to older horses all the time and judging from the right angle of the extending rami and the advanced wear of the teeth, this individual was an older male with a limited ability to grind seeds and nuts. Of one thing we can be sure, this is truly a unique creature of this world.

Before we allow the anthropologists to muddy up the water with highly predictable, politically biased, but extremely speculative claims of species migrating out of Africa, species that supposedly represent unique groups or a hybrid product of the evolutionary chain that branched off and eventually perished, let’s look at this new find through the eyes of a former trapper and professional hunter, who survived for years using many of the same analytical skills of the ancient hunter gatherer. Since we aren’t in the caves, we will need to rely on the findings of students and anthropologists; thus, our findings are compromised from the beginning, for no one reads “sign” (traces of life and movement) like a man who made his living reading “sign”.

Because of carbon dating, we know these creatures lived in proximity to modern humans, during the Pleistocene-Holocene transition of 11,000 to 15,000 years ago. There is no curvature of the cheek bones, the feature we rely on so heavily to define beauty; instead, we have a flat massive bone structure that would have served well for the attachment of a massive mandibular musculature for the grinding of seeds and roots. The wear pattern of the incisors suggest this possibility.

The forehead is well developed, but begins a distal curvature prematurely, when compared to a modern skull. The high forehead has been a trait of humans for hundreds of thousands of years. In man the frontal lobes protect the region of the brain associated with behavior and personality. The diminished area on top of the skull represents a compromised section of the brain associated with sensory data, but this information is only useful if we assume that this creature and modern man had similar brains with the exact formation and function; with the skull’s variance, should we assume the brain is the same?

This creature survived one of the coldest epics of the last ice age, referred to as the Glacial Maximum, a period that ended approximately 20,000 years ago, and the transition into the equivalent of our modern climate, known as the Pleistocene-Holocene transition, a period of change between 11,000 thousand years and 15,000 years ago. This transition saw a major die off of flora and fauna, but along with the die off came a rebirth of new plants and animals. The large Red Deer that this creature depended for protein, didn’t make the cut and it is safe to assume that most of his plant foods also perished. Was he unable to adapt, did he lack the mental capacity to alter his hunting and gathering knowledge and technology to meet the challenges of changing world? Perhaps, but remember, we are being objective by employing the skills of a modern day hunter and trapper and not relying on political or cultural biases that tend to contaminate the “scientific” findings of anthropologists.

Therefore, we can say with confidence that it is nearly impossible to say. With sadness, it is easy to realize academics with their clueless abilities to relate to real world problems often miss real clues for their lack of experience in the lifestyle that this creature survived in and thrived for eons. Unfortunately, the Indiana Jones persona is a myth. The best that we can hope for is to recover DNA samples and continue to chart the blood of the families and species of the world, but to assume this creature explains or provides proof of evolutionary theory or intelligent design requires more than a stretch of imagination. Remember, if we chart the stored information within the DNA of a one cell organism, it will require hundreds if not thousands of pages of data.

Let’s take into consideration the fact that for the forces of nature to form a fossil, a unique and specialized set of characteristics from the environment need to be present; to assume that early species were thoughtful enough to only travel and die where fossils can be formed to help us in recording the steps of man and other creatures that walked upright, requires either a very weak mind or a very devious mind.

Our anthropologists are quick to theorize about the possibility of interbreeding between modern man and the Red Deer People, it isn’t impossible to “conceive” of the idea, when we think of the breeding habits of some modern men and of some modern women like Ms Fluke who seem to have problems with self-restraint and logic. But there is that cheek problem, the laws of attraction, and how much cultural definitions of beauty or ugliness is someone willing to overlook just to have their ashes hauled, but then we are also left with the mule or hybrid problem, the fact that nearly all cross species breeding, that can produce a viable life form, results in an organism that is sterile. But just maybe, it really isn’t science when we reach out to consider the “but maybe” syndromes.
