Surprise Is A Near Sighted Porcupine Falling In Love With A Cactus
Cowboy Proverb

I remember hearing my creative writing instructor say, we should write about things we are familiar with and understand. I repeat this advice to myself at least once a week; my old writing instructor’s words have served well as a guide, but they have never been humorous until today.

When You Got Nothin To Lose, Try Anything
Cowboy Proverb

Robin Abcarian was probably excited about the prospect of covering the horsey story of Ann Romney, while trying to gain political traction for the failed presidency of Barack Obama; however, writing an article on a minnow in the shark tank and trying to expose the secrets of life in the shark world is laughable.

Apparently, Ann Romney sold a horse and the horse turned up lame at a later date. Does Robin know how many advanced Dressage Horses turn up lame at some point. I’ll let you in on a little secret, Robin, nearly all of them. Lameness finishes up all the careers of dressage, jumpers, hunters, and three day event horses; it is not a question of “will” or “if”, it is a question of “when”.

It was the end of a long day in a stuffy Simi Valley office building. Ann Romney had been under oath for more than four hours, testifying in a sometimes contentious deposition about a pricey horse she sold that may or may not have been afflicted with a condition that made him unrideable.

In the airless room, Romney was getting annoyed.

“That really is — that really is irritating,” she said when the opposing attorney implied she didn’t know who looked after her horse in Moorpark when she was at her home in Boston. “Of course I know who was looking after my horse. You’re just trying to irritate me.”

Stupidity and overwork on the part of a rider or trainer can lead to premature lameness, but if a horse continues to advance and compete, they will eventually become lame. (Ask any human athlete at the upper levels if he has lameness) There are a few “iron horses” that never display lameness, but they are approximately one in a thousand.

Is Dressage an Elitist Sport? It can be, especially, if you ride in Sullivan Canyon, Beverly Hills, Malibu, Calabasas, Thousand Oaks, Hidden Valley, and Moorpark; however, there are low scale operations in those areas, where the riding is comparatively inexpensive. Although, I must report, some of the Liberals’ biggest and wealthiest donors and fat cats are horse owners who live in these areas and their horse stories of indulgence would make delightful reading material for many Americans. I am sure they would gain far more traction than Ann Romney’s deposition over a horse deal that went south. (Not an uncommon event by the way, but when someone feels like a fool in California, someone else should pay.)

When we speak of spending excessive amounts of money on equine indulgences, comparing the Libs in Sullivan Canyon and Malibu, to Ann Romney in Moorpark, would be like running a race between a freight train and a fat man. The LA Times might call some of the Lib Fat Cats with horses and ask if they mind having their horse indulgences opened up to the internet. Ask if they want the public to know of luxury bathrooms in barns that cost more than most homes in California or if they want to hear of wood from Africa and South America being used to build stalls for their horses. Luxury digs for horses within twenty or thirty miles of people living in the drug infested squalor of the ghettos of LA. The same ghetto dwellers for whom they pretend to care for so self-righteously.

Do Not Tamper With The Natural Ignorance Of A Greenhorn
Cowboy Proverb

Ann Romney says she loves her horses and I believe her; although, I have never worked for her and I don’t know her, but I recognize her compassion for animals, for people like her, people with genuine or real compassion for horses, generally have the same compassion for humans.

Many horse owners have no compassion for horses when they can no longer perform, they become more like inanimate objects; to be frank, they become disposable, they become devoid of value when they no longer allow the limelight to shine upon the rider. They are discarded with extreme indifference, for they have served their purpose. This is the real story, a story of cold callous cruelty, especially, among those who wear false compassion on their sleeve.

“It’s like children,” Romney, a mother of five, testified about Super Hit, the horse at the center of the lawsuit. “You don’t … say one is better than the other, but I loved him.”

Ann Romney spends her own money on her horses, she feels they are therapeutic and for those of you who have read my articles on horses, you probably know, I agree with her.

Romney, who rode horses as a girl, began riding seriously as an adult after being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1998. “I was losing most of the function of my right side,” she testified at her deposition on June 3, 2010. “And I decided I needed to go back and do what I loved before I couldn’t do it anymore.”

She soon fell in love with dressage, a fussy Olympic sport that is also called “horse ballet.” In dressage, a horse moves in delicate, dance-like steps to music as the rider, formally clad in top hat and tails, imperceptibly guides the animal.

Because it requires tremendous muscle control, dressage also provided Romney unexpected therapeutic benefits.

“Riding exhilarated me; it gave me a joy and a purpose,” Romney told the Chronicle of the Horse magazine in 2008. “When I was so fatigued that I couldn’t move, the excitement of going to the barn and getting my foot in the stirrup would make me crawl out of bed.”

So now, we know why Romney is not suited for the presidency. His wife sold a horse that became lame and during a deposition she became annoyed with a lawyer or maybe it is because she has a healthy hobby, a hobby she pays for with her own money, instead of flying around on vacations at taxpayer’s expense with an entourage. Oh excuse me, Michelle’s vacations are to promote good will around the world and show poor people how the Obamas can spend money on indulgences like separate jets to vacation hot spots, now there is an indulgence.

I would rather write about more significant political ideas, but if the LA Times wants to continue trying to smear Ann Romney over senseless and inane horse trivia, they might be surprised at the some of the secrets of the elite equestrian world.

Marketing seeks to create images in our minds by relying on the creativity of a writer. Political marketing often involves the creation of myths, transforming an ordinary man into a heroic figure with selfless ideals who is willing to endure suffering to serve his fellow man.

This transformation of normal ordinary men into heroes of mythical figures has never been more obvious than the stories of our most recent Liberal presidents Clinton and Obama.

We were just subjected to a reelection commercial featuring former President Clinton explaining the potential fallout and risk for President Obama if the SEAL raid in Pakistan had gone horribly wrong.

Suppose the Navy SEALs had gone in there . . . suppose they had been captured or killed. The downside would have been horrible for him [Obama].

This was a unique opportunity for Americans to observe and compare our most notorious Narcissists, and watch one create the typical Narcissistic pool for all of us to admire the other’s reflection.

The myth of Narcissus is from the ancient Greeks. Greek Myths are stories that are a means to teach lessons of morality. If you will give your imagination a little freedom we will imagine the Myth of Narcissus in a contemporary setting.

Echo the Nymph was desperately in love with the handsome young hunter Narcissus, but he was proud and disdained all those who admired him, for he was in love with himself. Nemesis, a tricky god, directed him to a pool where he could observe his own reflection. From that point on, Narcissus spent all his time observing his own handsome features, unable to quit staring at his image and caring for nothing else, he eventually died by the pool. A flower grew where he fell and was to be known as the Narcissus.

If we replace Echo with the American people and the personality of Narcissus with President Obama, the basis for the myth is recreated after two thousand years.

While the American people have been dreaming of being loved and cared for by the object of their imagination, the harsh truth becomes more glaringly obvious with the passage of time, for the Narcissist exists for himself and only loves his own being.

Only Bill Clinton, the accused serial rapist who refused to kill or capture Osama and avoid the catastrophe that was 9/11, understands the strain facing the Narcissist Personality. For when he says:

“Suppose the Navy SEALs had gone in there . . . suppose they had been captured or killed. The downside would have been horrible for him [Obama].”

Zeus Is The Universal Boogeyman, Here Disguised As A Swan He Rapes Leda

He reveals no empathy or compassion for the fate of those Navy SEALS; instead, he concentrates on the image of the president and the possible damage to that image. The lives of our heroes become inconsequential in comparison to the image of the Narcissist staring into the pool of self-admiration. Thus the capture or death of our SEALs can be an embarrassment for our leader who will need to recoup the losses of popularity in other ways.

Zeus Represents The Powers That Threaten Mere Mortala And From Whom We Need The Protection Of An Omnipotent

Former President Clinton concentrated on portraying Obama as the wily Prometheus who risked stealing fire from Zeus to give it to mortal man. He thus risked the possibility of tragedy through this trial of personal sacrifice. For in the myth, Zeus was enraged with the theft and tied Prometheus to a rock on a mountain and during the passage of each day, an eagle ate his liver and each night his liver grew back, to be eaten again the next day. Oh, how Prometheus suffered for the crime of bringing the fire of Zeus to mankind: fire that was used only for warmth, cooking, and light. Prometheus became a man of constant sorrow for the crime of serving man. This is the fate Obama risked to serve his people. He was so near this position of constant sorrow that he needed to be pulled from the golf course during the commission of this service to mankind, lest the mission fail and he would be tied directly by a Zeus like boogeyman, supine on the mountain and the feathered beast allowed to savage his vital organs.

The personality of this same Prometheus has been a favorite reference for Karl Marx to portray the martyrs of Communism, representing those who suffer unselfishly for the cause of mankind.

True to form, the Narcissist views the world as it relates to him. Thus we have become inoculated to the “I” word and now are conditioned to view world events through the personal pronouns of Obama.

“Tonight, I can report . . . I directed Leon Panetta . . . I was briefed on a possible lead to bin Laden . . . I met repeatedly with my national security team . . . I determined that we had enough intelligence to take action. . . . Today, at my direction . . . I’ve made clear . . . Over the years, I’ve repeatedly made clear . . . Tonight, I called President Zardari . . . and my team has also spoken . . .These efforts weigh on me every time I, as commander-in-chief . . . Finally, let me say to the families . . . I know that it has, at times, frayed . . .”

In our personal lives, we tend to tire of people who see the world revolving around them and all to ready to overuse the personal pronouns in every conversation, but with Obama, we have been conditioned to excuse and overlook his boorish behavior.

Being programmed by these harpies of Madison Avenue to believe and accept the allusion of the strong leader who protects us from the evil of the world is a feature of being subjected to media. Most of the recent efforts Of the Obama marketers have been amateurish and obvious, but precious few of us caught the ambiguities of Clinton marketing Obama.

Sometimes, it is the utter audacity of the marketing ploy that creates the lasting impression. The vision of a man’s liver being eaten each day and of a maiden being raped by a God in the form of a swan are not easy to accept, but they have survived for 2500 years, and their story lines are still being used to teach and create allusions.

Unfortunately for Obama, the image of Narcissus is working against him, for Narcissus is his only enemy and it is his self-absorption that ultimately destroys him. The comparisons are all too obvious and transparent, and his adoring public like Echo grows weary of the self-absorbed man who loves himself above all others.

NARCISSUS. A large genus of flowers of the amaryllis family, native to Asia and Europe, is called narcissus. Included are the daffodil, the poet’s narcissus, the jonquil, and others.

Merriam Webster
Metrosexual:: a usually urban heterosexual male given to enhancing his personal appearance by fastidious grooming, beauty treatments, and fashionable clothes

We are all familiar with the phrase, “Metrosexual” and we all know at least a few who are willing to assume this role of a man who takes on feminine characteristics to fulfill a new role in our society, just how far he is willing to go in the assumption of this semi-feminine identity while maintaining a dainty masculine image varies, but we can be sure the image is being promoted by our faithful media. No, I am not speaking of the men who easily fulfill the Gary Cooper role model of FA men; I am talking about the effeminate “Straight” men who are pleased to have you question their sexual identity and the women who create these confused weaklings. The women, who perpetuate the myth that men are evil and dirty, then smother their boys with motherly attention, not for the sake of the boys, but to cater to their own feminine insecurities and neurotic weaknesses.

Some are quick to call our president a Metrosexual, but, I’d rather focus on the economy and jobs, than worry over his dubious manhood, it is the younger male demographic that I am speaking of and their mothers.

We’ve all heard and seen these boys in the public whining like little girls to their parents, instead of watching little girls.

This late breast feeding is labeled attached parenting. The woman in the photo carries it to more of an extreme by sleeping with her son. She says that hopefully this will be his last year. Now we are wondering who is in charge of this bizarre situation.

There is no scientific proof, but if we compile the anecdotal experiences of objective people who have begun to question this new gender bending concept in our society, the results will be persuasive. It is primarily a Liberal trait, but there are exceptions, Like the Whore Hopping serial rapist, President Clinton and the waitress sandwich boys Chris Dodd and Teddy Kennedy. It’s true, enjoying the assets of a tasty waitress in a menage a trois can bring up images of indirect latent homosexuality at the very least. However, Dodd and Kennedy were more old school in their perversions; they would never pretend to have a feminine side and would never pretend to have homosexual desires, even while they are exhibiting those same tendencies during their brotherly love sessions. The Metrosexual is more than willing to expose his feminine nature to the world and maybe even partake of the forbidden fruit.

What is wrong with this, you might ask, nothing if you are gay, but if you were designed to be a straight man by the genetics in your DNA and you have a “gay side” because of perverted parenting, it is a tragedy. A tragedy not only to the individual, but to our culture as well.

Many of you who think back will remember boys who were raised by overly possessive and protective mothers; the boys were effeminate in their actions. Usually the mothers were happy not to be raising those typical male hellions. It was if they wanted to change the world by raising their sons as daughters. Thus those boys eventually became angry teenagers or they were always willing to be looked after and cared for by the omnipotent mother. In time, mother is frail or impossibly possessive and the boy has the option of marrying another mother or finding a man friend for companionship and comfort. The state becomes a surrogate parent and we have created a loyal progressive.

This article in no way is meant to condemn gays or the gay lifestyle. We are born the way we were born and there is precious little you can do about it. I wanted to be 6 foot five, but I ended up three inches too short, that’s the way it is and I can’t do anything about it. However, raising boys in an overly protective atmosphere with a feminine dominance is wrong.

Notice the title on Time: Are You Mom Enough? They are encouraging women to raise their sons as dominated weaklings, rather letting them assume the roles of coarse hairy legged men of history. The new man is to be a Metrosexual, secure in his identity as a submissive wimp, Americans meet your Metrosexual his name is Liberal and the Super Mom is his creator, for few things are more destructive to the psyche of a man than an overly possessive mother.

We have joined the debate like adolescents cheering their favorite sport team. This debate of Gay Marriage has been manipulated to be a diversion, so that we forget the important issues: issues like our economy, the international failures of Obama, the acquisition of an American bank by China, the fact that we have no budget, Obama’s use of our military as political pawns (“when I think about those soldiers or airmen or marines or sailors who are out there fighting on my behalf and yet feel constrained”), the fact that we have a corrupt and racist Justice Department.

Yet, we want to argue the most shallow issue, Gay marriage and the cause of the Gay Liberal, why?

The Gay Conservative is a noble being, who receives precious little recognition. He is not consumed by an issue that may not be the omnipotent answer to all things Gay; he sees through the hype and realizes there are more important issues than marriage on the horizon. Yet, too many of us are being swept up in the Gay marriage debate like it is the pivotal debate point of 2012. The Gay Liberal and the Progressive hucksters are glad to have you so committed to the debate, for you then have less time to dwell on realistic issues like the economic survival of our country and the leadership of a president whose loyalties are dubious at best.

Yes, our wishy washy president, has ever evolving opinions on the issue, but what has he contributed to our country, other than divisiveness, strife , turmoil, and suffering.

You can make waves in the wading pool and practice your different swimming strokes, but you are playing another man’s game and impressing on one, but you may be assured, the Progressives will be encouraging you to continue your silliness of acting like an olympic swimmer in the shallow water.

The Dog Days of Summer Are Here

Some of us are willing to give a tacit seal of approval to people who eat dogs, but if someone has the audacity to tie a dog cage with a dog inside to the top of their station wagon, before embarking on a family vacation, a serious breach of the holy covenant between man and dog has been breached. I assume most of you are aware that people in Indo-China, Indonesia, Korea, and our president have enjoyed the flesh of dogs with no misgivings; however, in all the world, no one agrees with securing the family dog to the roof of a car.

Many people consider this single infraction to be serious enough to refuse to vote for Romney. They are willing to overlook our ruinous debt, the total disregard by White House personnel to pay Third World Hookers their hard earned money, A refusal to draft a budget, An energy policy that causes the rest of the world to laugh at us, Fast and Furious insanity that has cost the lives of a federal agent and hundreds of Mexican nationals, the paying of hundreds of millions of dollars in phony Green Energy Scams to Obama bundlers, an Attorney General who refuses to answer questions and is primarily concerned with justice for “His People,” a GSA crew that spends money in gross indulgences, Leon Panetta’s personal indulgences of flying on the government’s magic carpets for his personal trips, and Michelle’s personal indulgence of vacation flying on her own Air Force One to arrive four hours early and avoid the crowded conditions on her husband’s plane, while the First Couple lectures the rest of us on energy consumption.

Just because our president admits to enjoying dogs for dinner in his best seller, “Dreams From My Father” is no reason to look down on him; it was Romney who tied the dog to the car and risked all types of misfortune and personal injury to the dog.

“With Lolo, I learned how to eat small green chill peppers raw with dinner (plenty of rice), and, away from the dinner table, I was introduced to dog meat (tough), snake meat (tougher), and roasted grasshopper (crunchy). Like many Indonesians, Lolo followed a brand of Islam that could make room for the remnants of more ancient animist and Hindu faiths. He explained that a man took on the powers of whatever he ate: One day soon, he promised, he would bring home a piece of tiger meat for us to share.”

(Many Americans are wondering if our president and Lolo had too many peacock dinners.)

If Romney would have eaten the dog before the trip or barbecued the dog for a road snack during the trip, the public would have found his actions to be far more palatable.

This is a serious election and we must keep our priorities in a logical perspective; otherwise, we will put too much emphasis in the failures of a flawed leader and dog eater, and fail to concentrate on a man who drove with a dog on the top of his car.

Epilogue: No dogs were eaten by me or Romney, while writing this article.

Tom Hanks has made a mockery of himself by participating in the Barack Obama ridicumentary “The Road Traveled.” The single most ludicrous phrase, arguably ever, uttered by Hanks was

“He would not dwell in blame”

Click here to view the embedded video.

Never mind that the movie is an obsequious love story. It’s also riddled with inaccuracies.

Never mind that.

“He would not dwell in blame.”

Good grief. It’s ALL Obama does. Brit Hume wondered how Hanks could blather those words without coughing. Obama lives to blame. He revels in blaming others. A Google search for “Obama blames Bush” yields 4,400,000 hits. Curiously, the first link that appears in a search that requests “Obama blames Bush” generates a Kos link that says “Romney blames President Obama for Bush-era law.” One wonders how that happens. But that’s for some other time.

Next try “Obama blames.” That’s good for 11,400,000 hits.

Some examples

Obama Blames “Loose Talk of War” With Iran for High Gas Prices …

Obama Blames High Gas Prices On Washington

Obama Blames Arab Springs And Tsunami In Japan For Slower Growth

And then there’s this one

Obama blamed troubles on Fox News, book says

It seems that George Bush may be finally escaping the dudgeon. A new target is in town. Obama lost white males not because of his left wing Alinsky/Bell-guided redistributionist philosophies, but because Fox News calls him a “Muslim” 24/7.

Corn writes that after the midterm elections, Obama told labor leaders in December 2010 that he held Fox partly responsible for him “losing white males.”

“…Fed by Fox News, they hear Obama is a Muslim 24/7, and it begins to seep in…The Republicans have been at this for 40 years. They have new resources, but the strategy is old,” Corn recounted Obama as saying.

Over at HuffPo, the locals have been challenged to provide any evidence for that and have nothing to offer.

Obama’s whining about Fox News is confusing, because he claimed that he doesn’t pay much attention to “cable chatter.” Neil Cavuto notes that contrary to what he says, Obama pays a lot of close attention to everything said about him:

So it’s nice to see when the usually unflappable start flapping. Like yesterday in Arizona, when the president got in Governor Jan Brewer’s face, apparently over an excerpt from her book — an excerpt.

But one the president never forgot and a slight so serious, that he couldn’t wait to discuss with her. And he did.

Usually the president getting in your face scares most folks. Not Governor Brewer, who as the picture shows, clearly had no problem getting back in his.

Seconds later Secret Service agents shot her. No, they didn’t, just wanted to see if you were paying attention.

But this “tiff at the tarmac” isn’t the issue. The president’s thin skin is.

I’ve seen it before. When he went after Bobby Jindal over the Louisiana governor’s criticism of his handling of the BP oil spill.

I’m telling you, Barack Obama never forgets. Just ask — I don’t know — anyone at Fox.

In response to the 24/7 Muslim accusation, Bret Baier took a moment to make a statement:

The Fox host added, “For the record, we found no examples of a host saying President Obama is a Muslim.”

Obama also hammered corporate executives for not seeing that Obama is a god:

And in a meeting with an adviser after the 2010 midterm elections, Obama slammed corporate executives for attacking him.

“I saved these guys when the economy was falling off a cliff,” Obama said, according to Corn. “Now I get nothing but their venom.”

“He would not dwell in blame”

Poor Barack. It’s never his fault. It’s always someone else’s fault. Why don’t Americans know that?

The President’s Pity Party is on. You’re all invited.

There are unique features of this skull and of at least two other specimens that make this find unique. Notice the bony protrusion of the cheek area, the width of the face in the region temporal mandibular joint, the excessive bony structure of the mandibular rami, the massive molar structure, the anterior portion of the jaw is protruding and massive, the bony structures suggest a massive mandibular musculature, the eye sockets are large and broad, perhaps indicating an individual with superior eyesight. The wear of the incisors suggest a seed and plant eater who relied heavily on those feed sources at least seasonally and probably more often, when the hunting or trapping failed. Every hunter/trapper who knows how to set snares, knows that it is much easier to snare deer or trap them in blind canyons and kill them as you need them, a type of primitive animal husbandry and meat preservation, but professional anthropologists have never visited a primitive hunting group like this because there are none. Continue reading →

This fossil skull is between 11,000 and 14,500 years old, according to radio carbon dating of samples from their campfires in caves of southwestern China. The wear of the incisors suggest a seed and plant eater who relied heavily on those feed sources at least seasonally and probably more often, especially when the hunting or trapping failed. Every hunter/trapper who knows how to set snares, knows that it is much easier to snare deer or trap them in blind canyons and kill them as you need them, a type of primitive animal husbandry and meat preservation, but professional anthropologists have never visited a primitive hunting group like this because there are none.

Did this creature die because his lower incisors overwhelmed the upper incisors, causing infected gums and impacted teeth, making it impossible to eat roots, nuts, and seeds, thus did it become too painful for him to masticate the plant materials with the lower incisors cutting into the upper gum and against the impacted remnants of the upper teeth?

Were his teeth and that powerful jaw that served him so well, responsible for his demise? It happens to older horses all the time and judging from the right angle of the extending rami and the advanced wear of the teeth, this individual was an older male with a limited ability to grind seeds and nuts. Of one thing we can be sure, this is truly a unique creature of this world.

Before we allow the anthropologists to muddy up the water with highly predictable, politically biased, but extremely speculative claims of species migrating out of Africa, species that supposedly represent unique groups or a hybrid product of the evolutionary chain that branched off and eventually perished, let’s look at this new find through the eyes of a former trapper and professional hunter, who survived for years using many of the same analytical skills of the ancient hunter gatherer. Since we aren’t in the caves, we will need to rely on the findings of students and anthropologists; thus, our findings are compromised from the beginning, for no one reads “sign” (traces of life and movement) like a man who made his living reading “sign”.

Because of carbon dating, we know these creatures lived in proximity to modern humans, during the Pleistocene-Holocene transition of 11,000 to 15,000 years ago. We can also conclude that there were more than three individuals, for if the question of which came first the chicken or the egg is enigmatic, the question of the origin of these individuals is just as problematic, for the breeding of a species requires more than three specimens. The coward and the lemming will say they walked out of Africa without leaving a trace and then were overwhelmed by modern man; unfortunately, there is no sign to suggest this scenario, it is just accepted wisdom or should we say stupidity, for academics must accept and repeat unsubstantiated conjecture as fact in order to be accepted by your peers in academia.

We know these individuals were hardy enough to survive the coldest glacial period of approximately 20,000 years ago, back when ice covered one-third of the earth’s surface, the glaciers were over a mile thick, and a good portion of the earth’s water was trapped in these ice formations.

This early hunter liked to live in caves; the temperature of caves is constant, a bit on the cool side, but during an ice age it would seem like central heating. They liked to eat a large red deer, we may assume it is the size of an elk, since we have been given no specifics. The article mentioned that he was probably a stone tool maker, since there is evidence of worked stones at the sight, but the modern bushman knows it is nearly impossible to butcher, transport, cook, and eat a deer as large as an elk without stone knives.

It is the charred bone of the Red Deer that is the tell-tale sign of prehistoric beings with culinary skills, for charred bone survives the tests of time so well it is nearly as impermeable as stone tools. The men studying these people have named them the Red Deer People and one name is as good as another, but more important are the features of this well-preserved skull and the cavalier use of the word People. Notice the bony structures of the face, particularly the supra-orbital ridges above those large eyes and the huge nasal opening. This individual may have had the well developed sense of smell required to track game by using his sense of smell. The large eyes may indicate superior vision or perhaps a night hunter. There is no curvature of the cheek bones, the feature we rely on so heavily to define beauty; instead, we have a flat massive bone structure that would have served well for the attachment of a massive mandibular musculature for the grinding of seeds and roots. The wear pattern of the incisors suggest this possibility.

The forehead is well developed, but begins a distal curvature prematurely, when compared to a modern skull. The high forehead has been a trait of humans for hundreds of thousands of years. In man the frontal lobes protect the region of the brain associated with behavior and personality. The diminished area on top of the skull represents a compromised section of the brain associated with sensory data, but this information is only useful if we assume that this creature and modern man had similar brains with the exact formation and function; with the skull’s variance, should we assume the brain is the same?

This creature survived one of the coldest epics of the last ice age, referred to as the Glacial Maximum, a period that ended approximately 20,000 years ago, and the transition into the equivalent of our modern climate, known as the Pleistocene-Holocene transition, a period of change between 11,000 thousand years and 15,000 years ago. This transition saw a major die off of flora and fauna, but along with the die off came a rebirth of new plants and animals. The large Red Deer that this creature depended for protein, didn’t make the cut and it is safe to assume that most of his plant foods also perished. Was he unable to adapt, did he lack the mental capacity to alter his hunting and gathering knowledge and technology to meet the challenges of changing world? Perhaps, but remember, we are being objective by employing the skills of a modern day hunter and trapper and not relying on political or cultural biases that tend to contaminate the “scientific” findings of anthropologists.

Therefore, we can say with confidence that it is nearly impossible to say. With sadness, it is easy to realize academics with their clueless abilities to relate to real world problems often miss real clues for their lack of experience in the lifestyle that this creature survived in and thrived for eons. Unfortunately, the Indiana Jones persona is a myth. The best that we can hope for is to recover DNA samples and continue to chart the blood of the families and species of the world, but to assume this creature explains or provides proof of evolutionary theory or intelligent design requires more than a stretch of imagination. Remember, if we chart the stored information within the DNA of a one cell organism, it will require hundreds if not thousands of pages of data.

Let’s take into consideration the fact that for the forces of nature to form a fossil, a unique and specialized set of characteristics from the environment need to be present; to assume that early species were thoughtful enough to only travel and die where fossils can be formed to help us in recording the steps of man and other creatures that walked upright, requires either a very weak mind or a very devious mind.

Our anthropologists are quick to theorize about the possibility of interbreeding between modern man and the Red Deer People, it isn’t impossible to “conceive” of the idea, when we think of the breeding habits of some modern men and of some modern women like Ms Fluke who seem to have problems with self-restraint and logic. But there is that cheek problem, the laws of attraction, and how much cultural definitions of beauty or ugliness is someone willing to overlook just to have their ashes hauled, but then we are also left with the mule or hybrid problem, the fact that nearly all cross species breeding, that can produce a viable life form, results in an organism that is sterile. But just maybe, it really isn’t science when we reach out to consider the “but maybe” syndromes.

Barack Obama: On the eighth day, God said “raise taxes”

President Barack Obama has been taking lumps from Republicans for years over his support for Wall Street and health care reform, but today at the National Prayer Breakfast he claimed support from on high to defend two of his most controversial legislative achievements.

“And so when I talk about our financial institutions playing by the same rules as folks on Main Street, when I talk about making sure insurance companies aren’t discriminating against those who are already sick, or making sure that unscrupulous lenders aren’t taking advantage of the most vulnerable among us, I do so because I genuinely believe it will make the economy stronger for everybody. But I also do it because I know that far too many neighbors in our country have been hurt and treated unfairly over the last few years, and I believe in God’s command to ‘love thy neighbor as thyself.’”

Sure you do.

“I know the version of that Golden Rule is found in every major religion and every set of beliefs — from Hinduism to Islam to Judaism to the writings of Plato,” Obama added.

If nothing else works, let’s try guilt:

“And I think to myself, if I’m willing to give something up as somebody who’s been extraordinarily blessed, and give up some of the tax breaks that I enjoy, I actually think that’s going to make economic sense. But for me as a Christian, it also coincides with Jesus’s teaching that ‘for unto whom much is given, much shall be required,’” Obama said, noting Jewish and Islamic teachings say much the same thing.

Three years into Obama’s Presidency we learn that we didn’t just elect a President, we elected an evangelical. Well, that does explain the “pitchforks” thing.

So how do you like him now?

Whether you hunt lions, Grizzlies, or men, there is a moment that defines the hunt; a mere split second can mean the difference between success or cataclysmic failure.

I was recently lion hunting in Colorado, it was a beautiful day in the mountains: the sun was bright, there was a few inches of fresh lightly packed snow, and the temperatures were in the twenties; of course, the temperature dropped with increases in elevation.

The snow was perfect for reading sign and there were plenty of Mountain Lions on the mountain, but the fresh tracks were from cats that were too small; still, it was a pleasure to see that the main predator of Colorado was thriving and that there would be excellent hunting in the future. The big cats were hanging out somewhere else, and more specifically the mature males with the brown patch on their rump were probably checking out the real cougars for liaisons of a more delicate nature; for it would soon be the season for lion humpy-rumpy if memory serves correctly. I think back to the time, many years ago, when an amorous cougar thought I looked pretty sexy in the moonlight, with a big boar beaver strapped to my back and walking on thin rotten ice over a wild river in flood; but that’s the kind of hunting story my fellow hunters like to hear at night around the fire after a couple shots of rye.

We were hunting in perfect conditions, and we were seeing many tracks, but none were worthy of a spirited chase by the hounds. Only the large tom lion is considered fair game, and they were either hiding or having a convention somewhere else in the mountains; this is why they call it hunting, and it is the mark of an amateur to become frustrated and not enjoy the beauty of the day and the mountains.

During the same period in Idaho, a similar scene was taking place, but on this trip the hounds man had a hunter who wanted to kill a cat with a bow. The bow is a primitive weapon and a legitimate weapon; it has been used effectively by hunters for several thousand years. I have nothing against bow hunting; I have enjoyed bow hunting and may yet hunt, once again, with a bow in the future, but hunting with a bow requires familiarity and practice to be competent. Primitive man depended on the bow to avoid starvation. We are no longer faced with such a demanding lifestyle, but hunters have a responsibility to provide a clean death and not to endanger himself or others with unwarranted danger because of his unfamiliarity with the bow.

On this particular hunt, as related to me by a rancher friend from Idaho, who has a friend with a pack of hounds, who makes a business of guiding lion hunters. His hunter waited until the hounds had a large lion treed before stringing his bow and notching an arrow to take aim. Normally, a cat will stay in the tree and not challenge a pack of five hounds, but depending on predictable behavior from wild animals is like trying to predict human behavior.

This cat jumped into the pack of hounds, while our hunter was still preparing his bow for the climax of the hunt, the cat killed four of the five hounds in the length of time an arrow would have needed to reach the cat. The huntsman’s best hound quit the melee and opted for the old parable of discretion being the better part of valor, before having his carotid ripped open. Then the cat quit the scene of carnage, and our hunter was still struggling to string his bow.

When people have asked me about the dangers of Grizzly hunting, I tell them it’s not as dangerous as you might think, but you just need to realize, some days you kill the bear and on other days, the bear kills you.

It would be funny, except it is closer to the truth than you may realize. We Conservatives are now engaged in a presidential primary; a primary that is as interesting and as dangerous as lion or bear hunting. We have the media and our Republican Elites trying to select our candidate without us and if we take too long to string our bows and notch our arrows or opinions, they may select our candidate without our input and we will have essentially been killed, for all practical purposes.

The primary selection is paramount, for if we elect a candidate that fails to inspire the electorate, we will face four more years of Obama and the incremental destruction of the Republic. If we elect the wrong man and he wins the presidency, but governs as a skim-milk version of Obama, we have won a battle, but ultimately we have lost the war. The Constitution and the Republic, are under attack; like the stoic sailing Captain during a typhoon, we must watch the storm and react responsibly, for the future of our freedom and our country depends on our clear thinking and willingness to resist the hysteria that is generated by our Socialist Media and our Elites, in relentless efforts to sway our opinions.

It’s all so weird. It’s all so unseemly. Multi-millionaires begging for $3 and selling themselves off in raffles.

The email Michelle Obama sent to me:

This holiday has felt a bit like one last long, deep breath before we plunge into 2012.

This time next year, I don’t want us to have any regrets. I want to be able to say we rose to the task, and got it done. We’ve all got some work to do right now.

Over the next 11 months we’ve got an organization to grow, voters to register, and people to get fired up.

I hope you’ll close out this year by donating $3 or more now to help make sure we’re ready for the next one:

https://donate.barackobama.com/No-Regrets

Thank you so much, and happy new year,

Michelle

P.S. — Also, when you donate today, you are automatically entered for a chance to be one of three supporters to have dinner with Barack and me.

She vacations in Hawaii each year at a cost of $4 million, takes her own jets to vacation destinations all at taxpayer expense, wears $500 Lanvin sneakers to help the poor, $2000 Mexican tablecloths on vacation, and she wants us to to rise to the task and send her $3 so she won’t have any regrets.

Barack sent me this email:

It’s not all that often that Michelle and I get to host a casual meal with friends.

That’s one of the reasons we’re both excited about the upcoming dinner with three supporters and your guests.

It’s the first one we’ve ever done like this together, and we’d love to have you and whoever you choose to join us.

Chip in $3 or whatever you can today — and you’ll automatically be entered to be one of our dinner guests.

I enjoy these dinners not just because they’re a way to connect with supporters across the country.

They also say a lot about what kind of campaign we’re running.

We don’t take a dime from D.C. lobbyists or special-interest PACs — never have and never will. Instead, we believe in the kind of politics that gives everyone a seat at the table — so we’re literally offering these seats at dinner to folks who are willing to step forward and be a part of it.

There are just a few days left to add your name for a chance to be one of our guests at the next dinner, and help build this campaign before 2012 finally arrives.

Make a donation of $3 or whatever you can today — and automatically enter to be there:

https://donate.barackobama.com/Me-and-Michelle

Thanks,

Barack

As soon as he was done saddling us with a trillion dollar failed stimulus, Barack Obama sucked down a meal of $100 per serving Wagyu beef.

When he got to Hawaii, Obama headed right for Morimoto’s. There are countless sushi restaurants in Hawaii but few as tony as Morimoto’s, where the Oyster Foie Gras runs $22 per piece.

Then he ate at Alan Wong’s, another exclusive locale, and it’s estimated that he spent at least $260, or 13 weeks’ worth of middle class tax cuts.

The Obama’s, who deny themselves nothing in the face of a poor economy (“Middle Class Warriors” as Keith Koffler describes them), the Obama’s, who eat the best food at the best at the best restaurants at our expense, invite YOU to send $3 so you can share a “casual meal” with them.

Waygu beef and martinis for them, beer and pizza for their supporters.

That’s as good a metaphor for this Presidency as it gets.

A couple of days ago Mitt Romney compared Barack Obama to Marie Antoinette:

“When the president’s characterization of our economy was, ‘It could be worse,’ it reminded me of Marie Antoinette: ‘Let them eat cake,’ ” Romney told The Huffington Post in an interview Thursday.

With the Obamas dining on the finest food, enjoying the best vacations, not letting Presidentin’ get in the way of his 91 rounds of golf, Romney’s got a point.

It’s good to be Queen.
