My intellectual mentors were two of the most unlikely characters you can imagine. They were both immigrants to Peace River Country from Europe. They were both well read and primarily self-taught learned men, who knew the classics and were prepared to argue politics, religion, or literature with any man walking the earth.
Todd or Tadeusz Podbereski, a huge Pole who stood six foot six and weighed well over 300 pounds, was a devout Catholic who brooded over Homer’s Illiad and could recite several of Shakespeare’s plays and most of the bible from memory. He could never resist the opportunity to assume the role of Falstaff, Shakespeare’s irreverent, glutton, bawdy, profane, drunken, mooching, liar monk: he would abandon his thick Polish accent and employ the overly theatrical method of a Shakespearian actor, in country stores and humble cabins, he’d quote passages that pertained to the daily discourse of almost any situation. Even the most stoic and unromantic watched in silent awe as Todd applied his thespian skills to illustrate an obscure point of conversation.

We who walk the earth struggle with personal demons throughout our lives, if the demons devlop obsessions, we are then consumed by strange passions that control and ultimately destroy our lives and those around us.
In Melville’s Moby Dick, Captain Ahab is consumed with his obsession to kill the White Whale, Moby Dick. His inner demon is pure madness and vengeance. Obama, by not recognizing his personal failures and the failures of his policies, is displaying signs of a mental imbalance: consumed with Narcissism, driven by an obsession with Capitalism, and the inner demon of Marxism, he is not capable of seeing alternatives or making rational decisions. The mental imbalance within both Ahab and Obama becomes or was more apparent as their voyages progress. Obama’s Presidency and Ahab’s voyages were both scheduled to last four years.
Russian Prime Minister Vladamir Putin has said the US should take a lesson from the pages of Russian history and not exercise “excessive intervention in economic activity and blind faith in the state’s omnipotence”.
“In the 20th century, the Soviet Union made the state’s role absolute,” Putin said during a speech at the opening ceremony of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. “In the long run, this made the Soviet economy totally uncompetitive. This lesson cost us dearly. I am sure nobody wants to see it repeated.”
As taxpayers forked over $700 billion to bail out Wall Street and $787 billion to “stimulate” the economy, questions are now being asked about Obama’s economic policies and whether he is leading us toward socialism. The proposed 2012 budget is expected to be about 40% of this country’s GDP, very similar to European socialist states. Continue reading →
America is for sale and China has the money. They want 50 square miles South of Boise to build a self sustained Communist City. It would be designated and modeled after the “special economic zone” cities like several that currently exist in China. The Chinese Communist Party owns Sinomach, so the city would belong to the Chinese government. The city would include manufacturing facilities, warehouses, retail centers, and homes for Chinese workers. Continue reading →
In 1949 George Orwell wrote 1984, a political prophecy that portrayed a Progressive Party’s ultimate achievement of its totalitarian goals in a Utopian State of complete oligarchy. This chilling account of a Utopian Dream that evolved into a Dystopia was titled, 1984. So frightening was the premise of the novel that the number 1984 became a part of our language, along with the nebulous figure of “Big Brother.”
Many who read the book breathed a sigh of relief when the year came1984 came and passed without the realization of the dreaded situations described in the book. Perhaps Orwell’s only flaw with 1984 was to predict the Progressive political ascendancy a few decades prematurely. The Chinese and Russian oligarchies were in full bloom by the late 1940s; it was within reason to assume the Totalitarian Progressive control of the United States and England in 35 years.

Criticism is hard on a Narcissist; especially, if he is the president of a country that allows dissent. Our National Narcissist has a fragile ego, when he makes mistakes that are being analyzed by an informed public that is unafraid to speak out, he can’t help but to wonder what happened to the myth of the creation of Obama: unfortunately, the public is increasingly skeptical of this man who was elected with hype over substance and they are left wondering when they will see evidence of the superior intelligence that was so openly promoted during the campaign, but this innate intelligence is kept carefully hidden, like the scholastic records of the most intelligent man in the world. The Elite, is almost a dubious term that few can define. Those who are Elites will never admit it, not even to themselves. In this article we will attempt to define the concept according to the writing of Orwell and … Continue reading →
Please people, email this video to all your Conservative friends around the world. We can be the impetus that makes this video become viral. The people of the world should realize that the new unionism is selling the new Marxism as unionism; people are buying into unionism who would have never considered supporting Marxism and financing it with billions of dollars. Our president is using his position of president to facilitate this March of Marxism around the world. The regular activities of his office don’t concern him: he is only concerned with advancing the union cause or those who are allied with the unions, including minority dupes, Islamists, and Communists.
