Flashback: Remember when Obama called Bush “unpatriotic”?

There has been much harrumphing and hand wringing about Rudy Giuliani’s comments about Barack Obama not loving this country. The NY Slimes, as usual, went right after Giuliani instead of even considering the content of Giuliani’s words:

His remarks this week mostly drew derision and outrage, and seemed to further distance Mr. Giuliani from the heroic, above-the-fray image he carefully burnished after the Sept. 11 attacks, aligning him more squarely with the hard right of the Republican Party than at any other time in his career.

After his initial comments caused an uproar, Mr. Giuliani did little to tamp down the controversy in an interview with The New York Times on Thursday, and again on Friday night.

“I said exactly what I wanted to say,” he said. “I conveyed exactly the message I wanted to convey.”

But if the ideological positioning is new, Mr. Giuliani’s combative demeanor is not. Long prone to flamboyant confrontation and rhetorical excess, he is less inclined toward self-restraint than ever, political associates said, and Mr. Giuliani agreed.

And then they unsheath the knife:

It is unclear whether Mr. Giuliani will face any adverse consequences for his comments: There is apparently no prospect that he will face the voters again, and his income stems from a set of businesses that aggressively market his personal brand in the United States and overseas.

Mr. Giuliani is a frequent paid speaker (he is scheduled to address an investment conference in Puerto Rico next week) and has consulted for an eclectic array of clients, including the car service Uber, the identity-protection business LifeLock and the unsuccessful Peruvian presidential candidate Keiko Fujimori, daughter of the country’s former strongman president.

Face adverse consequences? For WHAT? I remember a candidate named Barack Obama calling a sitting US President “unpatriotic.” Here it is. See for yourself.

And what “adverse consequences” did he face?

He got elected President.

Why?

Why did he get a pass? Following Giuliani’s remarks the accusations of racism flew. Giuliani is no racist, but let’s reframe the question.

Did Obama get a pass on calling the President unpatriotic because he is black?

Those of you who find Giuliani’s words deplorable but voted for Obama?

F*ck yourselves.

And then they unsheath the knife:

It is unclear clear whether Mr. Giuliani will face any adverse consequences for his comments:

(CNN)

Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani said his office has received death threats since his controversial comments accusing President Barack Obama of not loving America.

“My secretary has received some death threats,” Giuliani said in a brief interview by phone. But the former mayor emphasized the majority of the voice mails left at his office were supportive of his remarks. Giuliani did not say whether he alerted police to the threatening calls.

I guess the dog whistle has been blown.
How dare any one else call Obama ”unpatriotic?”
If I were president I would make sure EVERY person who made such a death threat was prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
Obama won’t.
What did the recent poll show?
Obama supporters want Obama to break any laws he needs to.
They’ve got his back.

Giuliani was 9/11, now to call him a traitor-what trash. But the Slime has always been the racist voice for the democrats. The only paper to carry the Sandy Hook shooting was the Slime.
It is to bad that ny city has failed to listen to a great American hero.
Must remember that the fool is america’s new dictator

One thing right off here. I’m sure those that follow this site realize what I write, comes from my heart. I believe everything I comment on deeply and as always am open to have my mind changed. however, in this case, I have yet to see one fact come out over the last six years to make me change my stance.

Personally, not only am I in full agreement with Rudy on this, I will as I have in the past “up the ante” “Unpatriotic”? Hell, that odesn’t even begin to be an apt description of this clown! As he steadfastly endorses the Radical Islamists, ignores the holocaust that they have started to institute against Jews, Christians and Western civilization, and in turn has his DHS release a report about those who stand against his policies as radicals, traitors or worse, on at least has to wonder as to his leanings.

Add to that the fact that he openly lies to the country as to “how well things are going” in his so called terror war as well as to the danger that does in act exist from the Islamist Radicals, one again can begin to conclude he is at least somewhat unpatriotic. And let’s not forget his open apologies for our “bully tactics” towards all those poor Third Worlders. Listening to him, again one can conclude he is unpatriotic. And hell, let’s not forget his throwing our allies under the bus such as Israel and any country that disagrees with him Seems like it is all about his interests, not the country’s.

But let me take it out much farther. Obama and his ilk feel open dissent or disagreement to any of his far left agenda is akin to revolt in their eyes. Obama uses racism as a tool to divided this country and make no mistake of that because it is a fact. Obama has decided he is above the law, and worse openly lies about what he cannot do than does it anyway because he in his heart is no better than any leftist hard core Communist dictator or worse. He disdains capitalism.

But in my eyes, the worse transgression is because he truly does not believe in the ideals ans tenets this country was founded on, but in fact is a hard core Communist or worse (Rudy is right here. Obama was indoctrinated in his upbringing by those kind of people. It is his core belief). His refusal even now to acknowledge the Ft. Hood shootings for what they really were is a good indication of his disdain for this country and her military. Every action he takes is an action that diminishes our standing in the world, our leadership and our safety. And let’s not forget his illegal income redistribution schemes and his unlawful grab of the health insurance industry.

On this site, the facts have been laid out and argued many times over. His supporters spew the company line, not being able to think for themselves, yet in the process actually lay out the idiocy and danger that is Barak Obama’s Anti-American, Pro-Muslim and Communist agenda.

As such, as I said at the start, “unpatriotic” does not do justice to the man and his agenda. In my eyes (something I have said more than once here) Obama is a traitor to this country and her people. He has abdicated our role as the leader of the world, a leadership that was once based on the great ideals that at one time was the U.S.A. He has made this country a laughing stock and worse, made it more dangerous. He has divided the country with his rhetoric and hate, and yes, I do mean to use the word hate. Again, Rudy was correct. Obama does not love this country. but here he did not go far enough. The traitor that is Barak Obama hates this country and everything it stands for. And that is treason, not lack of love for country.

J.F.K. said domestic policy can only defeat us,foreign policy can kill us. I don’t like where Oduma is pointing our guns.

Anyone remember when criticism of He Whose Name Should Not Be Spoken was considered giving aid and comfort to the enemy during wartime?

John:

No.

(But congrats on the coherent complete sentence.)

Don’t forget Michelle’s comment when Obama was nominated, “for the first time, I am proud of this country”. The Obama’s would love this country if only it could take the form that they would like. In their view, the US has potential to be the socialistic, non-interfering welfare-state that they desire the US to be. But, not quite yet.

Giuliani is correct; Obama doesn’t like America. Not quite yet.

@Bill:

Giuliani is correct; Obama doesn’t like America. Not quite yet.

Or ever.

Above all else Obama loves himself.

Would this be the appropriate moment to mention that Rudy Giuliani is a cross-dresser, or should I save that for when he announces his candidacy for president?

Hey, it’s every bit as true as his allegation that Obama doesn’t love America. Except that in Mr. Giuliana’s case there’s abundant photographic evidence.

(I’m now bracing myself for Shocking Photos of Obama without a flag pin, or failing to saluting the flag.)

@Greg: So now you are a LGBT-aphobe. You hate gays and cross-dressers. How absolutely hateful and intolerant. Hatred of those with other life-styles denies them of their rights.

You’re a hater, Greg. A hater.

@Greg:

As always and proving my point. His supporters will throw anything up against the wall. Doesn’t matter whether it is true or not, the main thing is to divert attention from the truth that is being spoken. BTW Greg: I am judging the man by his words and actions. Bad enough the idiots that voted for this clown actually appear to be as indoctrinated as he is, but the fact that you and his supporters refuse to even remotely want to look at it from a stance based on our basic ideals is mind boggling.

One other thing as to your charge against Rudy above. That so called photo evidence you cite was from one of those parody (Not sure of the exact word to use here) like parties so many groups hold. How desperate can one be in trying to defend an indefensible position to feed us a line of sh.. like that? The funny part of this is you and far to many of his followers actually want us to take you seriously.

As I have said many times in the past, there are people out there who can express exactly what I feel in far better ways than I do and here is something I just ran across at Conservative Hideout 2.0.

For the Gregs of the world, read and learn from an amazing 12 year old who not only believes in and loves his country (man, talk about great parenting here) but is willing to speak out as to the truth as it really is, consequences be damned!

And God bless this young man who refuses to be blinded by and abide by political correctness. No thanks to those like you and the other blind followers of Obamaism Greg, but as one can see, there is hope for this country in our young.

“You’ve got to admire this young man. He is firm in his beliefs, his love of country and his method of addressing America’s woes.

President Obama may enjoy the approval of 84% of blacks, but don’t count CJ Pearson among them.

Pearson, a 12-year-old middle school student in Georgia, has more informed opinions than many adults.”

The student posted a YouTube video yesterday in which he seeks to “applaud Mayor Rudy Giuliani for his comments about President Barack Obama.”

“Here’s the truth of the matter: I don’t want to be politically correct. I don’t care about being politically correct at this point.

“President Obama, You don’t love America. If you really did love America, you would call ISIS what it really is: an assault on Christianity, an assault on America and downright hate for the American values that our country holds. Freedom of speech, freedom of religion and every single thing that our country stands for.”

He adds, “I hope that one day people will get enough guts to speak out against your downright hatred for this nation.”

Referring to ISIS, he said, “When they kill innocent Americans that have done no wrong except report on what is their constitutional right as journalists and you do nothing about it, you don’t care about their lives. You could care less!

“But here’s what you need to realize: here in America, we don’t back down to terrorists. We fight them on their own battleground and we annihilate them till the very end.

“Here in America, we don’t allow the government to take away what we work for but we continue to work harder so that we may continue to succeed.”

@Greg: Greegie, with every argument you fail to make you finish by blaming Bush or the Republicans for Obola’s failures!! Your credibility is ZERO!!

@Greg:

Would this be the appropriate moment to mention that Rudy Giuliani is a cross-dresser,

Maybe you should send George a note about that.

@joetote, #14:

Successful parenting? The kid has been indoctrinated. What you like is the fact that he’s delivering lines that you approve of. A 12-year-old kid shouldn’t have his head filled up with partisan garbage of any brand.

@Bill, #11:

Actually, I thought Mr. Giuliani’s ensemble was quite tasteful, although a Wonder Woman outfit might be more appropriate for an important revelation concerning the un-American tendencies of the President of the United States. A Google image search suggests that he has a rather extensive wardrobe to select from.

@Greg: How do you like the cross dressing photo’s of the prez?

When Islamic terrorists have killed almost 3,000 of us who were simply in tall buildings or on planes, when Islamic terrorists have killed over 4,000 of our military; when Islamic terrorists have murdered our soldiers at their home base at Fort Hood; when Islamic terrorists have slaughtered and maimed many at the Boston Marathon; when Islamic terrorists are beheading and killing journalists and aid workers simply because they are American, nothing says love of our American country like Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. taking the opportunity at the African Leader’s Conference in August to flash a perfectly formed usbu-al-shahada, not once, but twice and once while mouthing the words “allahu Akbar” to someone in the audience.

Yeah, we’re in good hands, folks, while the AP reports that the deal Obama is cutting with Iran will eventually allow Iran to complete its nuclear weapons program.

@Redteam, #19:

The truth of the matter is that I don’t even care about Mr. Giuliani’s orientations or eccentricities. What I care about are his repeated attacks on the character of the President of the United States. So, it seems like it might be worth pointing out that the guy who’s making them could be wearing ladies undergarments beneath his suit. Such things seem to matter a great deal on the right. Perhaps it will put his comments into a different perspective.

@retire05: And he is fortunate to have a whole bunch of slugs in the Dimocrat party to support this complete betrayal of America.

@Greg:

The truth of the matter is that I don’t even care about Mr. Giuliani’s.

But, you are the Prez ?

@Greg:

approve of. A 12-year-old kid shouldn’t have his head filled up with partisan garbage of any brand.

You mean like elementary children being forced to sing “Um, um, Obama”?

@Greg:

Successful parenting? The kid has been indoctrinated.

Despite Obama being elected… TWICE…. it is apparent that even a 12 year old, if he pays some attention, can understand what a complete failure and security risk Obama is.

Actually, I thought Mr. Giuliani’s ensemble was quite tasteful, although a Wonder Woman outfit might be more appropriate for an important revelation concerning the un-American tendencies of the President of the United States.

I get it, Greg. You don’t need to reinforce your disgust with gays and how, in order to express your utter disgust with someone, the worst you can do is call them gay or transgender. We get it. Another liberal hypocrite.

@Bill, #25:

There does seem to be ample evidence that a person having the intellect and discernment of a 12-year-old could arrive at such a conclusion. One need not look much further than this thread to find it.

@Greg: Looking in the mirror eh Greggie??

Greg @ 26:

Hey, we agree about a twelve-year-old’s comments on this site. That is #s 10, 17, 18, and 21.

@Greg:

There does seem to be ample evidence that a person having the intellect and discernment of a 12-year-old could arrive at such a conclusion. One need not look much further than this thread to find it.

It is not these folks who elect a president based on nothing but “Hope and Change”…. especially after four years of lies and failure.

Again, even a 12 year old can see through the joke that is the Obama Administration. Yet, some so-called “adults” can’t… or won’t.

@Greg: Greggie Greggie Greggie, of all people to get up his underwear up his azzzz about criticizing a President!! You and the liberal wacko Democrabs are still blaming Bush for Obola’s failures after Obola said he fixed everything!! Obola owns the mess in the Middle East and the Ukraine!!

@Greg:

I have read some idiotic comebacks form the lefties on this site, but this might take the cake. I have four children. Three of them are like me but somehow one became a semi-flaming liberal. None the less she is a successful young woman I believe thanks to the values my wife and I instilled in her and her siblings.

“Successful parenting? The kid has been indoctrinated. What you like is the fact that he’s delivering lines that you approve of. A 12-year-old kid shouldn’t have his head filled up with partisan garbage of any brand. ”

Indoctrinated my ass!! I was taught the basic tenets that this country was founded on in school (back then the schools weren’t factories of Anti-American bias), but my parents lived them and taught them to me long before I started to form my opinions based on my public education! I became as I am at about the same age this young man seems to have. And I have my parents to thank for that!

Good grief, the leftist loonies having no argument to bolster their arguments revert to accusing parents of indoctrination? One can assume this young man goes to school and in turn is surrounded by the usual mindless young people and more who do not in any way agree with his views. Yet, he chooses to espouse the ideals taught to him by his parents!

Apparently you believe a 12 year old cannot make a rational decision because you and those on the left feel any parent that teaches the ideals and tenets this country was founded on combined with the conservative values so many of you hate should close their minds to all else. Oh My God! A thinking young person! Can’t have that in Obama land, can we?

And one wonders why I hold so much of what comes from the left in utter disdain! Don’t ever denigrate a parent’s right to instill their virtues in their children! Last time I looked, this wasn’t yet a Godless, dictatorship!
