The CBS Sunday Morning program yesterday morning ran a glowing segment on Dan Savage.
The nationally-syndicated advice columnist on romance and relationships explains to correspondent Erin Moriarty how to talk to your kids about sex, even when – especially when – they don’t want to hear it from you.

Savage pontificates about relationships and how to talk to your son about sex and relationships. CBS Sunday Morning completely skipped over the rest of the story. People really should have been given the other side of Dan Savage opinions and actions.
If you watched the entire segment you might have noticed that Savage had a McCain/Palin bumper sticker stuck to his wall. Savage has an obsession with Sarah Palin. He wrote a “review” of her book Good Tidings and Great Joy: Protecting the Heart of Christmas and titled it:
Good Grief and Great Tits
Savage said of Palin:
Sarah Palin is a shit-talking pimp who makes money playing to the carefully cultivated persecution complexes of conservative Christian rubes who wouldn’t know what religious persecution was if it sat on their faces and shit in their mouths.
And he added a holiday greeting for Palin:
So happy fucking holidays to you, Sarah. I hope you choke on a cinnamon bun.
Savage professes to be an anti-bullying activist, but when it came to Palin, not so much:
“Woke up to Sarah Palin’s voice. She’s taken up chewing tobacco now cuz LIBRULS or Bloomberg or something. Now seeing upside of oral cancers….So, yeah, I “bullied” Sarah Palin. Yup. That’s what I did.”
Yes, he wished oral cancer on her.
Savage’s vile and disgusting nature is not reserved for only Sarah Palin. No sir. He volunteered for the 2000 Gary Bauer Presidential campaign during which he
licked doorknobs and other objects at a campaign office, and handed Bauer a saliva-coated pen with the intent of passing on the virus to the candidate and his supporters.
….
“The front door, office doors, even a bathroom door. When that was done, I started in on the staplers, phones and computer keyboards. Then I stood in the kitchen and licked the rims of all the clean coffee cups drying in the rack,” in case his pen-plan didn’t work.
Savage created a website with the sole intent of smearing Rick Santorum because Santorum wouldn’t bend over for Savage.
On HBO Savage wished all Republicans were “fucking dead.”
In 2011 the NY Times’ penned an obsequious article on Savage, calling him a “devoted husband, proud father, sex columnist” and omitting Savage’s propensity for gross words and behavior. Clay Waters notes
While omitting Savage’s history of unsavory activism, Oppenheimer praised the “It Gets Better project, Savage’s great contribution to family values.” Spurred by incidents of antigay bullying, it’s a collection of clips from celebrities and others, including President Obama, encouraging gay teens that things will get better.
Despite Savage’s alleged anti-bullying posture, he won’t hesitate to bully those who disagree with him.

Advice columnist Dan Savage, the founder of the ‘It Gets Better’ project — a series of web videos devoted to helping victims of bullying — is facing charges of bullying himself after a speech to a group of high school journalists in Seattle turned into a rant at several students who walked out in protest mid-speech.
He’s a cretin. A douche. For CBS to ignore that entirely and glorify Savage is pathetic but unfortunately not surprising.
DrJohn has been a health care professional for more than 30 years. In addition to clinical practice he has done extensive research and has published widely with over 70 original articles and abstracts in the peer-reviewed literature. DrJohn is well known in his field and has lectured on every continent except for Antarctica. He has been married to the same wonderful lady for over 30 years and has three kids- two sons, both of whom are attorneys and one daughter on her way into the field of education.
DrJohn was brought up with the concept that one can do well if one is prepared to work hard but nothing in life is guaranteed.
Except for liberals being foolish.
Anything can be said, anything can be done, anyone can be insulted, bullied or physically harmed, as long as it is towards a liberal end. Anyone else doing this, however, is uncivilized.
Nothing surprising here. It’s what progs/liberals are all abut.
whenever i see an online poll for the GOP POTUS that has Palin in it I always give her my vote.
Sadly she doesn’t seem to even be listed on most anymore. She wasn’t welcome at the 2012 convention, will she be invited in 2016?
