Grubered: The forced sodomy of America

obama sodomy

A new term has appeared in the American lexicon:

#Grubered

Eric Bolling described it this way:

In Bolling’s assessment, Gruber and his cohorts knew Americans would never approve of a healthcare mandate so “they lied — or let’s say they ‘Grubered’ their way into getting Obamacare passed.” He added, “No surprise here, they’re Democrats, that’s what they do.”

That’s far too gentle. Getting Grubered is far worse than simple lying. It began with one video and has absolutely erupted into a conflagration. In the first video Gruber, the architect of Obamacare, called Americans “stupid” and proudly brags that lack of transparency is a virtue. He also admits to overt deceit in the language of the bill.

The Gruber doubles down on the stupidity of the American voter

In the 3rd video Gruber talks of the “basic exploitation” of the American voter and how they lied to get rid of tax breaks for providing health care.

In the 4th video:

In this fourth video, Gruber’s language is not as stark as in three previous instances, but his suggestion that Obamacare proponents engaged in less-than-honest salesmanship remains.

“Barack Obama’s not a stupid man, okay?” Gruber said in his remarks at the College of the Holy Cross on March 11, 2010. “He knew when he was running for president that quite frankly the American public doesn’t actually care that much about the uninsured….What the American public cares about is costs. And that’s why even though the bill that they made is 90% health insurance coverage and 10% about cost control, all you ever hear people talk about is cost control. How it’s going to lower the cost of health care, that’s all they talk about. Why? Because that’s what people want to hear about because a majority of American care about health care costs.” …

In the fifth video, Gruber ridicules a person who dared ask about costs:

And here is Gruber spilling the beans- that Obama was in on the Cadillac tax deceit:

After it all hit the fan Gruber made a meek appearance on Ronan Farrow to disavow his comments:

In yet another recording, Gruber claimed that Ted Kennedy was ripping off the Federal government:

“The dirty secret in Massachusetts is the feds paid for our bill, OK? In Massachusetts, we had a very powerful Senator you may know. His name is Ted Kennedy. Ted Kennedy had basically figured out — Ted Kennedy and smart people in Massachusetts — had figured out a way to rip off the Feds for $400 million a year.”

Alan Colmes throws up another canard:

The short story is basically this: Massachusetts, since the late 1990s, had been receiving special Medicaid funds through a waiver to fund care for populations the program traditionally didn’t cover. In 2005, President George W. Bush wanted to end that funding, worth about $350 million. But Kennedy, working with Romney, put together a deal to keep the funds and then some by expanding Medicaid and providing subsidies to help low-income people purchase private insurance. The Bush administration signed off on that deal, giving us Romneycare, which then gave us Obamacare.

Irrelevant. Romneycare has been touted as a robust success and was the foundation for Obamacare. It is not a success. It is dependent on Federal subsidies for whatever success it has enjoyed. The fact is, 49 other states paid to make Massachusetts’ health care appear to be a success. From where do the funds come to bail out everyone else?

Then democrats confirmed that they were really as stupid as Gruber claimed they were as they feebly attempted to deflect attention away from Gruber’s revelations. Here’s Megyn Kelly falling into the incredulity abyss with liberal Bernard Whitman:

Nancy Pelosi sounded utterly senile as she denied knowing Gruber and denied he was the architect of Obamacare.

Here’s Gruber talking about his participation in the construction of Obamacare:

And the stupidest man in Congress, my Senator Chris Murphy, proved that becoming a Senator requires absolutely no brains whatsoever:

Murphy tweeted:

It’s sad to me that good political journalists are spending so much time on these irrelevant comments by this guy Gruber.

Jake Tapper responded:

@ChrisMurphyCT respectfully, it’s sad to me that some politicians would claim the comments are irrelevant.

Grubering is nothing less than the forced sodomy of America and Obamacare is the offspring. It is built on a foundation of lies and it was shoved up our backsides. Obama and his wretched team absolutely f*cked this country over. Now you know why Pelosi insisted the bill had to be passed to find out what was in it. We were all “Grubered” but we were not all taken in. They did bamboozle the lesser lights among us, i.e. Obama voters, and they are justifiably called “stupid” as Gruber stipulates. There is a way to respond. When a Republican takes the Presidency in 2016, the GOP Congress should lock out democrats and construct and pass a bill in the House and then the Senate with a teeny little rider that ‘we have to pass to find out what’s in it.” The teeny little rider would be the repeal of Obamacare. Obama voters could find out what’s in it after it passed.

Until all the news outlets report the story it will not get all the attention it deserves.

All the 0Muslim Obama Care lies couldn’t, and didn’t, fool me. Not even for a minute. But then again, I don’t go through life expecting my government to do me any favors like the parasite class does.

Besides, those who have been paying for their H.C. insurance prior to Obama Care know darn well that their rates have doubled, tripled, and in some cases, quadrupled since this scam was passed. Those that claim otherwise are liars just like 0Muslim.

I have had my go around with government that want to “help” you. We got involved with an Industrial Development Agency for construction of an industrial building. To make a long story short, the agency director was charged with 13 felony charges and walked on all of them. It cost me nearly $750.000.00 and nothing was ever recovered. Crooks found a safe home in government service.

The things Gruber said are what is usually caught on an open mic in a movie, revealing the two-faced politician to be what he really is. See “A Face in the Crowd”.

Gruber just offers it up, arrogantly and without fear of reprisal. What he said is not noteworthy, because most people who have come to see through this scurrilous administration already suspected this was their attitude, their motive and their actions. The news is that someone actually said the words. Can there ever again be any doubt as to the conceited arrogance of the liberal elitists?

Wasn’t Gruber the conman on the old TV series McHale’s Navy? Seems like the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. 😉

Way back in 2009 there were only a few days when the ACA (ObamaCare) was available online for us to read.
Bloggers at places like Health Care BS, Powerline, Right Wing News and others took on the task.
As they read they put out amazing articles about the law, if it were passed as is.
Of course, even Obama found 24 portions of it so politically untenable that he unilaterally changed them.
But that was AFTER it was voted in by only Dems.
Right now there is an interesting move afoot.
Republicans seem to be planning on passing a law making it official to do one of the things Obama did by executive fiat.
Will Obama veto his own ”fix?”
Probably.
Just because.

Everything negative that was EVER thought of or ‘said’ about this President AND this Administration has come to fruition. Imagine that.

What is frightening is they are STILL LYING through their teeth. It’s really unbelievable. What is even MORE frightening is the Ofraud (and yes, stupid) drones will continue to defend Obama and his “agenda” and “policies”.

‘Forced Sodomy’??

Wow!

That is a major switch – from being ‘Rammed down our throats’….

What a difference 4 years and loose lips makes…

Dr J chose to spend his life living amongst the liberals in Massachusetts
What a strange choice

@John:

Pardon me while I LMAO.

Murphy is from CT. I’ve lived here my entire life so CT chose me. There was a time when it was red, self-supporting and proud. Thanks for validating Gruber.

obama voters, especially those of you that voted stupid twice, you have been validated by a renown Harvard economist.

It’s hard Dr John, to give credence to anything you say as you’ve proven time after time to be no more than a howl-at-the-moon ideologue content on distorting facts and using faulty resources and bigoted hacks to justify your ranting disrespect.

Using Eric (“would that be considered “boobs on the ground”) Bolling as a “far too gentle” advocate to your homosexual innuendos toward people who don’t march lockstep to your hate fest is yet another admission of precisely who you are.

@Ronald+J,.+Ward: Careful, Ronald; someone might expect you to answer a question about your “principles” and then you will have to run off an hide until the next topic.

Will you EVER answer my question about why Obama used the most likely justified shooting of the thug Michael Brown as an example of racial injustice? Will you ever dignify the honest question with some sort of response as to your opinion of why he did such a thing that could turn out to be so stupid and obviously racially motivated?

You know, those who appear here and ignore the questions asked of them to justify their positions is one thing, but when YOU come on here and call people cowards because you don’t feel you got the response you deserved, while you prove to be the “coward”, is quite despicable. If it weren’t for the fact that I rather enjoy the back and forth with the opposite side (and, with the Obama administration circling the drain as they are, fewer and fewer show up and admit to being a supporter, I would request you be run off permanently.

Answer my question or keep your stupid remarks to yourself.

@Bill:

Will you EVER answer my question about why Obama used the most likely justified shooting of the thug Michael Brown as an example of racial injustice?

No, I will never again try to rationalize with you nor will I engage in your level of stupidity.

Hasn’t “thug” become the legitimate replacement for the “n” word for the likes of your ilk? Oh, never mind.

Opinions evidently vary. From a new Gallup survey, conducted from October 22 through November 12, 2014:

“Over seven in 10 Americans who bought new health insurance policies through the government exchanges earlier this year rate the quality of their healthcare and their healthcare coverage as “excellent” or “good.” These positive evaluations are generally similar to the reviews that all insured Americans give to their health insurance.”

Newly Insured Through Exchanges Give Coverage Good Marks

@Greg: 7 in 10?
Should be 8 in 10, Greg.
Nationwide, an estimated 83% of marketplace enrollees qualify for subsidies.

How Much Financial Assistance Are People Receiving Under the Affordable Care Act?

Reward a certain activity and you get more of it.
83% of all who use exchanges got subsidies.
But, for some reason only around 70% of those subsidized enrollees appreciate it!
But then, even Jesus only had one thank him after he healed ten lepers.
So, Obama is appreciated for giving OUR money to people, like ”he” gives them Obamaphones and other stuff WE pay for.

@Ronald J. Ward:

No, I will never again try to rationalize with you nor will I engage in your level of stupidity

Never “again”? You never engage at all; you simply throw out accusations and insults and pretend those serve as some sort of bizarro answer.

Answer my question. Just answer it.

Hasn’t “thug” become the legitimate replacement for the “n” word for the likes of your ilk? Oh, never mind.

No, it hasn’t. It has merely become another word the left likes to try and change the rules of engagement for. Thug means thug, anyone, regardless of race, creed, national origin or religion that acts thuggishly, as Brown did, robbing a store, threatening the shop clerk and then trying to beat and take the gun of an officer. Brown simply happens to be a black thug, but we will see some white thugs when the KKK arrives at Ferguson. Thugs are thugs. Thugs are not exclusively black and “thug” is in no way a racial epithet.

You must enjoy being solidly in Gruber’s demographic. He speaks directly to you.

Answer my question.

@Greg: More of Gruber’s constituency.

@Greg:
Did you actually read the survey? First it’s a very small number of people, 400. Then the number of people who got new policy from a government exchange is a fraction of that 400. This appears to be a desire to somehow put a positive spin on a pile of manure.

Have a look at another recent Gallup survey.
http://www.gallup.com/poll/179426/new-enrollment-period-starts-aca-approval.aspx

@Greg:

As is again typical of leftist propaganda hacks, there is no evidence that the Gallop survey analyzed the question via people who actually used and paid for their evil obamacare insurance without being subsidized by the taxpayer in paying for these premiums.

I note you studiously avoid the Gallop poll from this week that shows obamacare is approved of by only 37%, and opposed by 56%.

The contemptible hypocrisy of leftists, who still shriek “Bush lied about WMDs to get us into war!” have no problem with obamacare being based completely on lies, reveals the untrustworthiness of the leftist mindset.

It’s ironic hearing those totally indoctrinated by years of right-wing lies and bullshit talking about the other side’s constant use of propaganda. There’s a element of predictability about the course a discussion then follows, too. Invariably they’ll get around to bringing up Bush, at which point they’ll accuse the left of always bringing Bush up, and accusing him of lying. Which, by the way, is more of a rational, unbiased observation than an accusation.

Don’t like Obamacare? Then get rid of it. The the next election should clearly demonstrate how voters feel about the “improvements” that result. Which, by the way, is why I don’t expect the new GOP Congressional majority to actually do squat. They don’t actually want to fix it, or to fix the problems that it effectively addresses, which would all come rolling back in spades. They don’t have a freaking clue how to do that any better than the Affordable Care Act does. What they want is the continuing issue of Obamacare, to motivate their far right faction to politically support them.

Think I’ve got that wrong? Just watch what they do over the next two years—or fail to do, more accurately speaking. And that won’t be their fault, either. It will somehow be Obama’s fault, or the left’s fault, or the fault of whoever the Democratic Party’s 2016 presidential nominee might be.

@Greg:

Wow. What is really ironic is you accusing right-wingers of lying after a whole week of Mr. Gruber admitting they lied and ridiculing the entire voting block. So who, in your mind are the indoctrinated supposed to believe? Perhaps the ‘indoctrinated’ feel validated after a week of Mr.Gruber. I do.

Republicans scurrying around like a pack of hounds that think they’ve treed a squirrel. The big revelation they’re all worked up about is that Jonathan Gruber thinks everybody is stupid. Another way of stating that is that he thinks he’s smarter than everybody else. Apparently not, or he wouldn’t have behaved so stupidly in front of a video camera on multiple occasions.

Why does it matter what Jonathan Gruber thinks? He was a paid consultant in connection with the design of health care legislation. He was paid both by Governor Romney’s and President Obama’s administrations to design legislation, not to make assessments or express opinions about the intelligence of the American public. On that, he’s no authority.

@Greg:

It’s ironic hearing those totally indoctrinated by years of right-wing lies and bullshit talking about the other side’s constant use of propaganda.

Such as? Do you have any examples of right wing propaganda that lied about Obamacare? It appears that ever the worst of the accusations have come exactly true.

He was paid both by Governor Romney’s and President Obama’s administrations to design legislation, not to make assessments or express opinions about the intelligence of the American public. On that, he’s no authority.

Gee, and waddaya know… neither system works. He had enough opinion to get $400,000 of taxpayer money and the left sure did love to toss his esteemed name around, trying to convince the stupid people he spoke of that if a smart guy like him thought it was a good idea, they should, too.

All Gruber has done is get exposed describing how it was going to be done. No one is shocked or surprised that the left lied; it’s what they do, 24/7.

The big revelation they’re all worked up about is that Jonathan Gruber thinks everybody is stupid.

Uh…. no. Gruber doesn’t think everybody is stupid. He thinks Obama supporters and Obamacare supporters are stupid. The stupid people he speaks of and to are those who think they will be getting free health care at the expense of someone else.

Saaaaayyyy….. don’t you support Obama, Greg? Ooops!

Such as? Do you have any examples of right wing propaganda that lied about Obamacare?

It’s like trying to explain water to a fish.

It appears that ever the worst of the accusations have come exactly true.

None of the GOP’s dire predictions about Obamacare have come true. At some point this is finally going to sink in.

@Greg:

It’s like trying to explain water to a fish.

That’s not an answer to the question. It’s a smartassed remark given for the sole intention of dodging the question.

You, like the rest of your liberal sycophants, think you are too cute by half. You are fooling no one but yourself, Greggie.

:
Headline:
“Charles Manson gets marriage license”
LOL.

I gave a short list of examples of republican lies about Obamacare in another thread. I think I led off that list with the frequently repeated claim that the program included death panels. Total b.s. of course, on a level that would insult most people’s intelligence. There was the claim that failure to sign up would result in imprisonment. Rand Paul picked up on that one. There was the claim that it would cover millions of illegal aliens. That it would cause small businesses to lose their health insurance. That everyone’s premiums would skyrocket. I don’t now how long of a list could be made if somebody really put their mind to it. Most of what republicans have said about Obamacare has consisted of inaccuracies, distortions, and outright lies. That’s been the rule, not the exception. Hence the comment about water and fish. You people are about as receptive to any factual information that runs contrary to the party line as cult members.

@Greg:

I know the dems lost big in the election, Greg, but you do realize the GOP doesn’t have 60 senate seats to override the obvious veto the lying scumbag in the Oval Office would do, right?

Don’t worry. Those of us with the brains to see what obamacare is intended to do to this country will keep working to get it repealed. As more Americans come to realization of the inherent evil that is obamacare, expect the calls for repeal to grow.

@Greg:

You are either a fool or a partisan hack…perhaps both.

IPAB is a “death panel” .
Dems are angling to to get illegal aliens onto obamacare, even though you refuse to admit it.
Premiums ARE skyrocketing under obamacare, estimated by an average 14% this year.
Small business has not yet been dumping employee health benefits because the employer mandate was unconstitutionally delayed until after Obama leaves office.

Your ever growing desperation to polish the mushy turd of obamacare into a diamond is another sign of the delusion of leftist ideology.

@Pete, #31:

IPAB is a “death panel” .

Ah. And when private insurance companies suddenly stopped paying for a policy holder’s chemotherapy treatments when a lifetime policy maximum was reached, as they sometimes did pre-Obamacare, what would we call that? It had nothing whatsoever to do with best practices. When private insurance companies cut you off cold, it was all about the money. Death might be an unfortunate side effect, but it wasn’t like anybody decided you should die.

The designated task of the Independent Payment Advisory Board, on the other hand, was to find ways of cutting Medicare costs without sacrificing quality of care. That last part was clearly stated in the law. Their mission was to help the Medicare program get the most out of every taxpayer dollar spent by finding the most cost effective ways to provide the same level of care.

The advisory board would be non-political, and empowered to do make determinations without Congressional meddling on behalf of campaign contributors and lobbyists representing pharmaceutical and healthcare industry special interests. So, you can see what the problem would be with that: They would be messing with the guys who set up Medicare Part D without a funding source, and who specifically prohibited the Secretary of HHS from bargaining for lower prescription drug prices on behalf of the taxpayer. That kind of suggests that getting the most out of each taxpayer dollar might not be Congress’s own highest priority.

A good cover story was needed to undermine the IPAB, of course. The truth that Congress didn’t want to be deprived of any degree of power to control the flow of money certainly wouldn’t do. So, Death Panels. The Death Panels claim was a twofer. It provided an opportunity not only to attack the IPAB, but Obama as well.

@Greg:

I certainly hope you are being paid to blather such manure. I can’t imagine anyone so stupid as to pimp for this administration like you do for free.

@Ronald+J,.+Ward: Here is evidence that Gruber was right! Another stupid voter!

@Ronald J. Ward: ohhh ronald teabaggee calls you stupid and then resorts to the race card ,wow so original …..tell this one one hello when you can catch a breath

@retire05: I think they are trying to pretend that they are not the ones Gruber was referring to as stupid voters. When you look at it, the only people who embraced Obama Care was the democrats, so we know who Gruber was referring to!

@Greg:

Greg – you are quite possibly the most obnoxiously clueless and partisan leftist hack out there when you make such blatantly stupid comments as this:

The designated task of the Independent Payment Advisory Board, on the other hand, was to find ways of cutting Medicare costs without sacrificing quality of care. That last part was clearly stated in the law. Their mission was to help the Medicare program get the most out of every taxpayer dollar spent by finding the most cost effective ways to provide the same level of care.

How many patients do you see, Greg? How many times have you dealt with medicaid to get paid for treating patients from as long as 18 months in the past? I deal with this every day and I can tell you anything set up by the government is NOT interested in “cost effectiveness without sacrificing quality of care.” You are a damned fool if you think the IPAB is anything other than a rationing board – which is exactly what we mean when we call it a death panel and you lying leftists know it . You don’t have a clue, Greg, as to the deceit and inefficiency of medicare/medicaid and what is the very nature of rationing boards like IPAB. You don’t know the sensation of having to explain to a non-medical bureaucrat that the treatment algorithm he is reading in his “acceptable practices” rationing book doesn’t fit the patient you are treating. You leftists still pretend like there is an endless supply of medical resources when trying to manipulate the public while knowing there are limits to what care is available. But you are such deceptive, lying filth that you set up evil bastards like Gruber and Emmanuel to decide how to dispense resources in a manner to further manipulate the ill-informed masses.

The advisory board would be non-political, and empowered to do make determinations without Congressional meddling on behalf of campaign contributors and lobbyists representing pharmaceutical and healthcare industry special interests.

This statement reveals – for those who didn’t already know – that you, Greg, are either so much of a lying collectivist political agitator that everything you say is by definition completely untrue, or you are too abjectly stupid to waste time listening to you. The IPAB will be about as non-political as an Obama judicial appointee, a planned parenthood central planning committee meeting, or an AFL-CIO demonstration.

http://www.latimes.com/business/la-fi-insurance-rates-20140730-story.html

Just to show how completely full of shite you and your ilk are, Greg, here is a story from the notoriously leftwing LA Times, talking about obamacare rate hikes, comparing 2014 rates to 2013 rates. They are quoting the state insurance commissioner:

At a news conference Tuesday, Jones said individuals this year paid between 22% and 88% more for individual health insurance policies than they did last year, depending on age, gender, type of policy and where they lived.

The increases did not affect poor people, whose policies are heavily subsidized, Jones said. The study results released Tuesday did not include group policies such as those offered by employers.

Jones said he authorized the study of health insurance rates after receiving numerous complaints about rising costs.

The rate increase from 2013 to 2014, on average, was significantly higher than rate increases in the past,” Jones said.

And these rates are going up again this year….to pay for another damnable socialist pile of lies designed for no purpose other than to garner more and more power to leftist political hemorrhoids who arrogantly believe they deserve to tell the rest of us how to live our lives and how much of our earnings we can keep.

Oh – and don’t think we don’t notice how you can only parrot back failed leftist talking points trying to detract from the very accurate description of the IPAB rationing board as a death panel – while being completely unable to refute the other damning flaws of obamacare and what Gruber, the media, and the dem party did to cram the diarrhea burrito of obamacare down our throats.

Obamacare is inherently evil, as Gruber’s video statements clearly show, and as the negative effects upon our economy and medical system show. You who continue to support obamacare are either too ignorant or too evil to care about your fellow man to do the right thing and demand the total repeal of obamacare.

Think obamacare won’t be hammering small business with the inherent lack of transparency and the sledgehammer of taxing power?

http://www.farmcpatoday.com/2014/11/09/dol-plays-hardball/

Q1: My employer offers employees cash to reimburse the purchase of an individual market policy. Does this arrangement comply with the market reforms?
No. If the employer uses an arrangement that provides cash reimbursement for the purchase of an individual market policy, the employer’s payment arrangement is part of a plan, fund, or other arrangement established or maintained for the purpose of providing medical care to employees, without regard to whether the employer treats the money as pre-tax or post-tax to the employee. Therefore, the arrangement is group health plan coverage within the meaning of Code section 9832(a), Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) section 733(a) and PHS Act section 2791(a), and is subject to the market reform provisions of the Affordable Care Act applicable to group health plans. Such employer health care arrangements cannot be integrated with individual market policies to satisfy the market reforms and, therefore, will violate PHS Act sections 2711 and 2713, among other provisions, which can trigger penalties such as excise taxes under section 4980D of the Code. Under the Departments’ prior published guidance, the cash arrangement fails to comply with the market reforms because the cash payment cannot be integrated with an individual market policy.

This answer is very clear that ANY reimbursement of health insurance payments by an employer for an employee is subject to the ACA rules and therefore are subject to possible penalties under Section 4980D of the Code. These penalties can be substantial (up to $100 per day per employee). Therefore, it is extremely important to make sure that any payment of premiums for employees is as a direct result of payments withheld from an employee’s paycheck and then directly transmitted to the health insurance provider. Any gross of up wages directly related to payment of premiums may be problematic.

Additionally based on this Q & A, it is probably better for the employer not to pay any health insurance premiums (unless a qualified group plan or for only one employee employers). It appears that the DOL and the Administration is pushing all non-qualified premiums onto the exchange and those premiums are usually paid directly by the employee (and may not be reimbursed). This will increase the number of persons covered by the exchange which is the primary goal of the administration (this last part is strictly my opinion).

So what this CPA is saying is that the DOL has waited until the end of the year to suddenly decide that the manner of employers providing funds for their employees to purchase their own insurance no longer meets obamacare requirements, and subjects the employer to outrageous fines of $100 per day per employee. No small business can afford to pay $36,500 per employee in fines to the government, and it is outrageous smash-mouth politics to do this to force employers to dump all insurance thus forcing more people into the obamacare exchanges. This is blatantly evil, and should start waking up more Americans to the obvious fact that obamacare is NOT about providing health insurance, but rather solely about leftists grabbing more and more government control over the lives of Americans.

And this isn’t just one accountant sounding the alarm about these underhanded nasty leftist government tax attacks against Americans:
http://rothcpa.com/2014/11/tax-roundup-111814-the-aca-and-filing-season-be-afraid/

It’s not just individual taxpayers who look to get clobbered by this. Based on what I’ve seen at our sessions, dozens or hundreds of Iowa small businesses are starting to figure out that they have had non-compliant health insurance plans so far in 2014 as a result of the ACA “market reforms.” Non-compliance carries a penalty of $100 per day, per employee. At $36,500 per employee per year, it doesn’t take too much of this to bankrupt a small business. And it’s not as though these employers are doing something abusive; they have just continued funding employee insurance the way they always had, but in ways the “Departments” that run Obamacare no longer like. Or they just might have done all the right things, except for properly notifying employees of their coverage options in writing. Trivial violations, crushing penalties.

The cold, calculated enslavement that is the primary goal of obamacare, not a bug at all, should finally make it through even the thickest of LIV skulls. Obamacare is poison, and no amount of political propaganda falsely claiming concern for the poor and uninsured can cover the stench of this despicable leftist power grab.

A politically savvy GOP would already have the commercials showing Gruber’s multiple statements revealing the lies, deception and contempt for Americans, followed by the videos of Obama, Pelosi and any other dems referring to him as the obamacare architect. These should be played over and over, particularly when the tripled tax penalty hits this tax season.

Obamacare must be destroyed.

And rate increases, previously put out 1 October, until this year when they were held until after the last election. Here is a great example:

http://www.alexashrugged.com/2014/11/my-obamacare-story-in-1-picture.html

Look at her premium increases, and the timing. How’s that 181% increase look to you?

Just got another letter once again stating that due to the ACA regs our 2015 premium will be $1700 per month for 3 people with a $10,000 deductible.

The MSM is complicit in this evil socialist scheme in that they are not reporting these outrageous obamacare increases, that they are now 10 days into refusing to cover Gruber’s revealing comments on multiple videos, with only scarce stories focusing not on the actual content/context of what his statements mean, but rather on the reaction that opponents of the socialist power grab are having to Gruber’s accidental admissions of the inherent lies and intent of obamacare.

@drjohn: Ya miss Prescott and family? Eli Yale!

Speaking of “sodomy”:

(Reuters) – The U.S. Supreme Court on Thursday denied a request to block gay marriage from proceeding in South Carolina, clearing the way for it to become the 35th U.S. state where same-sex marriage is legal.

Note that you now have seven SCOTUS justices voting against you.

Gay marriage is coming to Texas soon…

XOXO

@Pete, #37:

“But you are such deceptive, lying filth…”

Some people don’t seem to deal very well with differing second opinions.

Back in the mid-1960s there was also strong resistance to Medicare legislation. I imagine most Americans now believe that Medicare is an important feature of our nation’s healthcare delivery system.

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2014-11-20/obamacare-s-subscriber-rolls-include-unpublicized-dental-plans.html

Yet more evidence of the blatant deceit and gross incompetence of this horrible administration.

The Obama administration said it erroneously calculated the number of people with health coverage under the Affordable Care Act, incorrectly adding 380,000 dental subscribers to raise the total above 7 million.

The accurate number with full health-care plans is 6.7 million as of Oct. 15, a spokesman for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services confirmed today, saying the U.S. won’t include dental plans in future report

So, we have these leftists…who:
1. Devised a bill saying “You have to pass it to see what’s in it”
2. Deliberately concealed/lied about it being a tax increase to get it “deemed passed”, then promptly flipped to argue it was constitutional as a tax.
3. Lied in saying it would not cover illegal aliens or abortions.
4. Lied in claiming it would decrease the average cost of annual health insurance premiums by $2500/yr.
5. Lied in claiming you could keep your doctor and your current insurance if you liked them.
6. Had three years to design their healthcare.gov website, yet had numerous crashes, failures, and hours wasted trying to get through when being forced to get an exchange plan. (Still having website failures this year…)
7. Designed their evil law to coerce states into setting up exchanges or prohibit the receipt of taxpayer funded subsidies for people in states choosing not to set up obamacare exchanges…then when a lawsuit rises to the level of SCOTUS interpreting the straightforward meaning of the words, obamunists deny the very wording of their own damned law, lying yet again for the purpose of maintaining their collectivist power grab. Even when multiple videos are produced showing the “obamacare architect” Gruber specifically stating that the law was designed that way precisely to coerce states into setting up exchanges, leftists ignore the blatant evidence and simply lie louder.
8. Now caught making the “error” of including dental insurance purchasers in counting numbers to try to meet their reduced enrollment numbers goal.

So, even if you are so cognitively deficient as to think these socialists are really trying to do “good” things for medical care, with such clearly gross incompetence and error, how on earth can you POSSIBLY believe letting these drooling dimwits have control of medicine is a good idea? Do you really think Amazon.com would have grown so successful if they performed with the same level of inefficiency and error as obamacare has at every damned level of its existence? Do you REALLY want to give these kings of asshatted dysfunction the authority of IPAB to determine which medical treatments are ‘appropriate’ for your doctor to prescribe for you?

Continuing to support this abominable, inhumane, collectivist power grab is a sign of poor cognition or outright cultish delusion. People who still think the left cares about anything other than the naked quest for increased power are like abused spouses in denial of reality.

Obama’s unconstitutional amnesty move this evening, coupled with the rest of his “transformation of America” policies are truly an existential crisis for our republic. 5 years (or so) ago when that Russian historian was predicting the collapse of the United States, I rolled my eyes and chuckled at what I perceived to be wishful thinking from someone bemoaning the collapse of the Soviet Union.

I am not chuckling anymore. When the criminal currently holding the office of AG of the US is fomenting racial tensions over the death of a criminal who assaulted a police officer; when the very president of the US – a supposed constitutional scholar – believes he can arbitrarily legislate to satisfy his whims, well outside of the proscribed powers of the executive branch, then we are no longer a nation of laws. When laws are no longer set but malleable to the preferred interpretation of a self-appointed group of elitists, the remaining days of the republic are limited.

@Pete: Yet more evidence of the blatant deceit and gross incompetence of this horrible administration.

The Obama administration said it erroneously calculated the number of people with health coverage under the Affordable Care Act, incorrectly adding 380,000 dental subscribers to raise the total above 7 million.

Ah.
Most of those dental plan subscribers are also being double counted.
I can’t imagine a family buying dental but not medical insurance.
But many families buy both.
Probably about 400,000 families who used O’Care.
Shame on this group of elitist lefties.
Double counting just to look good on paper.
The Fiscal Times is also picking up this story:
http://www.thefiscaltimes.com/2014/11/20/oops-obama-administration-inflated-obamacare-enrollment-numbers?onswipe_redirect=no&oswrr=1

Bart Stupak – you are a worthless, lying bastard….along with every other democrat who lied saying “obamacare will not cover abortions” in order to cram it through the “deemed passed” chicanery of the left.

http://www.gao.gov/products/GAO-14-742R

Under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), insurance plans offered in health insurance exchanges—known as qualified health plans (QHP)—may cover abortion services as a benefit consistent with federal and state law. Federal law applicable to QHPs for the 2014 benefit year prohibits the use of federal funds made available to offset the cost of QHP coverage to pay for abortion services except where the pregnancy is the result of rape or incest, or the life of the pregnant woman would be endangered unless an abortion is performed. QHPs may cover abortion services that do not meet that exception (referred to as non-excepted abortion services), but state law may restrict the circumstances under which coverage can be provided. For the 2014 benefit year, 17 states do not allow QHPs to provide non-excepted abortion services, and 6 states permit the coverage of such services only in certain limited circumstances. Among the remaining 28 states (including the District of Columbia) with no such laws, in 5 states all QHPs cover non-excepted abortion services; in 15 states some QHPs cover non-excepted abortion services; and in 8 states no QHPs cover non-excepted abortion services. Nationally, 1,036 QHPs in these 28 states cover non-excepted abortion services and 1,062 QHPs do not.

So if you pay taxes, you are now being forced to pay for abortions, whether you believe such acts are murder or not. You will also be paying through your taxes for the surgical mutilation of confused people who want to have fake genitals of the opposite sex carved into their bodies, not to mention all the sex hormone drugs used to make such confused individuals pretend they are the opposite of what their chromosomes say. And this insanity – because it is politically correct, will get funding…but if someone over the age of 55 needs dialysis, or treatment for acute myelogenous leukemia, or a teenager requires a lung transplant…those sorts of medical treatments will be rationed by the IPAB bureaucrats just like Sebelius initially rationed/denied the lung transplant for a teenage girl until an overwhelming public outcry forced her to change her ruling.

This is what happens when you give politicians control of medical care. And this is just the beginning.
Unless you want this to become even worse, you will insist your congressional representatives overturn obamacare, defund his insane amnesty scam, and reign in his imperial tendencies. Franklin’s admonition that we have a republic, if we can keep it, is exquisitely timely.

@Greg:

I admit I do not deal well with “opinions” based completely on lies, as Gruber’s videotaped comments clearly reveal. As has been asked over and over, if obamacare was going to be so wonderful, why did the left have to lie – and continue to lie, as the ” oops, we counted dental insurance policies to get obamacare enrollment numbers to 7 million” report that came out today shows – to cram it down our throats.

The fact that so many doctors do not accept medicare/medicaid, added to the number of physicians who limit the number of medicare/medicaid patients they will accept, shows it is a dysfunctional program.
