Obama has decided once again to give America the shaft but as is so characteristic of him, he is putting it off until after the election in an effort to shield democrats from the electoral pain of his actions.
President Barack Obama has one person to blame for looking indecisive, dithering and cowed by bungled political calculations: Barack Obama.
He’s the one, after all, who strode into the Rose Garden on June 30 to announce that America couldn’t wait forever on immigration reform and pledging to move forward with a set of executive actions “before the end of summer.” He’s the one who spent that afternoon lighting into Republicans in Congress for punting and punting and punting again.
Now he’s the one punting.
Obama, appearing on “Meet the Press,” attributed his decision to punt immigration reform action until after Election Day to making “sure that the t’s are crossed and the i’s are dotted,” or “getting all our ducks in a row,” on the legal side and needing to spend some more time explaining himself to the American public.
Not long ago this issue was seen as a slam dunk winner for democrats but the Captain Obama of the Titanic is sinking in the polls. He is seen increasingly as inept, even on the left and Obama’s amnesty plan is seen as overreach and has become more and more unpopular with the nation.
It’s well known that Obama’s plan was purely political with the goal of buying more Hispanic votes for democrats, but democrats are getting the shakes and Obama doesn’t want to be sullied:
The White House spent Saturday trying to reassure immigration advocates and other disappointed supporters: it’s not that Obama’s given up on the executive actions, it’s that he didn’t want his wading into the immigration fight to get blamed for Democrats losing the Senate and setting back the overall cause of getting reform.
The executive actions are still coming, officials say, with the timetable moved from “before the end of the summer” to before the end of the year.
In other words the Senate may well be lost, Obama just doesn’t want the blame. But not to worry. If you like your illegal aliens, you can keep your illegal aliens.
Obama blamed the need for the delay on the surge in unaccompanied illegal alien children, but he knew it was coming. He planned for it. In fact, a new wave of 30,000 illegal aliens is expected in the fall. The cost of educating the first wave is estimated to be $760 million per year. That is an onerous burden for local property tax payers.
Wouldn’t it be nice to have a President who was concerned about the rights and welfare of Americans as he was for illegal aliens?

Apparently, that was a gross miscalculation. All those illegal immigrants showing up enmasse and the government’s inability to process them, shoving them down the throats of states, cities, towns and neighborhoods sent the wrong (or right, depending on your viewpoint) message and severely damaged the steamroller that was amnesty and immigration “reform”.
One thing Obama never seems to comprehend is that there is always another election that could be impacted by his left wing stupidity…. unless he has other plans.
If something is such a bad idea it will cause candidates to not get elected – don’t do it.
Obama has become the definition of all the political problems Obama identified in his books.
Imagine that, a politician playing politics. But this is after the GOP wanted to sue him over executive actions then turned around and went on vacation before voting on the Immigration Bill telling Obama to ‘do it himself.’ Cowards

They may be cowards for not wanting to deal with immigration until Reid is forced to release his grip on legislation in the Senate; or maybe that would be infinitely better for the country. But one thing is for certain; you are incapable of understanding words and statements.
Republicans did not tell Obama to “do it himself”. They told him to enforce existing laws instead of changing and ignoring them to suit his personal political agenda. What he is being sued for is refusing to entertain thoughts of Congress making changes to his sacred Obamacare, then turning around and, as the political winds blow, making illegal, unilateral changes to the very fabric of the stinking, rotten, terrible law. He is SPECIFICALLY being sued for THAT, not just executive actions. A little intelligence goes a long way, This one.
