@Redteam: That’s cus you’re a knowitall RT. Do you think NBA will strip Sterling of ownership today?
BTW conserv’s shows possession which they do not have. I don’t visit Lib. sites. Everybody patting each other on the back, like you and 05. BORING
Can’t stand MSNBC.
I like the way O’Reilly has called out both racists– Bundy and Sterling.

He is being FORCED to sell, Rich.
Around 6 billionaires are somewhat interested.
Also a $2.5 million fine.
All based on a private conversation in his home.
Just think.
Your newer refrigerator, oven, computer, TV can all be spying on you, too.

@Nanny G: In baseball they’ve always called it “for the good of the game.”
The NBA has something similar. The owners have a right to do this—-for the good of the game.
BTW All my appliances are old. Thanks for the heads up.

@Rich Wheeler:

Do you think Sterling is getting a pass?

Well it’s pretty hard to give him a pass now. But he has certainly been given a pass previously. The NAACP gave him a lifetime achievement award in 2009, knowing his background. I don’t follow the NBA and this is the first time I’ve heard of Donald Sterling. But from what I’ve read, I think he was basically being honored so he would keep sending money.

@Aqua:

But from what I’ve read, I think he was basically being honored so he would keep sending money.

That’s true.

@Rich Wheeler:

The NBA has something similar. The owners have a right to do this—-for the good of the game.

I guess all Sterling has to do now is set the price. Probably around a billion, I’d guess. He bought team in ’81 for 12 million.

@Nanny G:

All based on a private conversation in his home.

Kinda shoots down freedom of speech, doesn’t it? Wonder if whoever recorded it had his permission to record it? So now every owner and every player has to be sure not to make any homophobic or racial comment even in the privacy of their home. I suspect there will be very selective enforcement of these kind of situations.

@Redteam: Selective? You mean they’ll only go after racist Dems. like Sterling?
He’ll get 2 Billion for a team he almost destroyed in the 80’s and 90’s. Like I said, he can thank Griffin and Paul.
Paid 12 mill.in 81–ain’t capitalism great.
Aqua This guy and his team were the laughing stock of the NBA until the signings I mentioned–complete turn around in 3 years.Value probably tripled.

@Redteam: “Don’t bring Black people into our games.” You and Nan wanna give this guy a medal?
Freedom of speech you say. Throw the bum out.

@Rich Wheeler: Rich, you put a quote after my name. That is not a quote from me? Is it something you’ve said in the past? I’ve made no statement of support of this person. My only statement is what is the limits, how slippery does the slope get? Someone needs to address Abdul Jabbar’s comments, they’re going to happen.

@Rich Wheeler:

Selective? You mean they’ll only go after racist Dems. like Sterling?

That was a major slip up by the Dims. They thought that since he is registered as a Republican that he was supporting Republicans. Turns out all his political donations are to Dims. I’m quite sure the ‘candidate’ will be more thoroughly vetted prior to attempting to make the Repubs look bad in the future.

@Rich Wheeler:

He’ll get 2 Billion for a team he almost destroyed in the 80′s and 90′s.

and that he has subsequently built into a 2 billion dollar team. Rich in addition to curtailing his free speech rights, do you also want to do away with his free enterprise rights. Is there any part of this Republic that you still respect or do you just want to blindly follow Obama’s path to socialism?

@Redteam: Everyone with a brain knows that’s a quote from Sterling. lol
That same brain allows one to know he is a major contributor to Democrats. As Kraken points out, how many Repubs. are feted by the NAACP? “Make Repubs look bad”. Did you notice the title of this post. You’re a hoot RT.
Defend this racist all you want RT. I gotta wonder what that says about you?

@Rich Wheeler:

“Don’t bring Black people into our games.” You and Nan wanna give this guy a medal?
Freedom of speech you say. Throw the bum out.

Seems you want limits on the First Amendment.

What Sterling said makes him a slug. Never mind that he got set up by a gold digging chippy over a private conversation he had. But what he said has not caused anyone to lose their career, or be murdered, or cause someone to burn down buildings. Now, thanks to the left, we have abolished the First Amendment so that one can be convicted of hate “speech” and destroyed?

And never mind all the Democrat blacks that have called Clarence Thomas an “Uncle Tom” or Al Sharpton and Louis Farrakhan’s hateful speech toward white people. Sharpton causes death and destruction and he gets rewarded with his own TV show.

Here’s the bottom line, RW; you either support the First Amendment, no matter who says what about whom, or you want to live in the USSA.

@Rich Wheeler:

Everyone with a brain knows that’s a quote from Sterling. lol

And some of those with a brain know how to attribute a quote to the person that made it, and then there’s you.

Defend this racist all you want RT. I gotta wonder what that says about you?

I don’t know the man and have no knowledge as to whether he’s a racist or not. I, as you, wore a uniform to give a person the right to say whatever he wants to say in the privacy of his home. I still respect the Constitution and the rights given in it. Just because a person says something in the privacy of his home that you don’t like does not mean that you should be prepared to abandon the Constitution.

“We are negotiating with him about giving more moneys to African American students at UCLA, and so we are in preliminary discussions,” Jenkins said. He also noted, however, they had not spoken since the scandal broke.

If the price is right, the NAACP is willing to forgive and forget.

[Sterling apparently is a Republican, but there are questions that beg to be answered.]

And I didn’t give a CRAP about what party the shithead belonged to until jerks like YOU decided it was important to make him a Democrat!

Now you can EAT it.

You total assholes.

@Ignatz: Very funny. As has been pointed out, here on this blog, Sterling is registered as a Republican but all his political activities are in support of Dimocrats. All his political donations are to Dimocrats. So you can call him whatever you please, his actions are 100% Dimocrat

We’ve heard from RT – and big surprise- o5. Nan was in agreement I’d love to get the thoughts of others at F.A.
So I can get back to OFA and get paid.lol
Ignatz— Beautiful— RT is a whirling dervish. He doesn’t know left from right–up from down.Funny to watch.
Semper Fi

@Rich Wheeler:

We’ve heard from RT

And we’ve also heard from RW and he’s still attributing quotes to me that were made by someone else. I called him on it yesterday and again today. That’s the results of a Cracker Jack diploma from a tube of toothpaste.

So I can get back to OFA and get paid.

You have to go there to get paid? Bummer. Sterling needs to pick up his donations a little so you can get your funds a little quicker.

@Redteam, #71:

Sterling’s most recent political donation was apparently made in 1991. He does’t appear to have been a donor to any candidate of either party in over 20 years.

@Rich Wheeler:

Ignatz— Beautiful RT is a whirling dervish. He doesn’t know left from right–up from down.

very good RW, now give us a synopsis of Ignatz.

@Greg:

Sterling’s most recent political donation was apparently made in 1991. He does’t appear to have been a donor to either party in over 20 years.

He received a lifetime achievement award from the NAACP in 2009 and was scheduled for another one this year for donations to the NAACP, you’re not gonna claim they’re not Dimocrats, are you?

@Redteam: Ignatz statement is clear–called you an asshole.
You’re still whirling left and right up and down with your drivel er analysis.

@Redteam, #76:

He received a lifetime achievement award from the NAACP in 2009 and was scheduled for another one this year for donations to the NAACP, you’re not gonna claim they’re not Dimocrats, are you?

The NAACP isn’t a partisan organization. It isn’t affiliated with the GOP or the Democratic Party.

If you want to assert that a majority of black people voting for democrats means the NAACP must be Democratic, I guess you’ll have to consider the Tea Party to be Republican for the sake of logical consistency.

@Greg: Logical? Remember who you’re talking to. He’s still whirling.

@Rich Wheeler:

Ignatz statement is clear–called you an asshole.

So, you’re trying to establish his bona fides as an asshole verifier? He’s welcome to the job, as I’m sure that is a job that a lot of Dimocrats are qualified for.

You’re still whirling left and right up and down

And?

@Greg:

The NAACP isn’t a partisan organization. It isn’t affiliated with the GOP or the Democratic Party.

What planet are you on? You might want to try a trip to reality at some point.

If you want to assert that a majority of black people voting for democrats means the NAACP must be Democratic, I guess you’ll have to consider the Tea Party to be Republican for the sake of logical consistency.

Would you put this in the Dimocrat logic category?
I can see that persons that vote Dimocrat might be considered to be Dimocrats
But I fail to see where members of the TEA Party are inclined to vote for any particular party and therefore a judgment as to which party they are ‘considered’ to be would have to be withheld.
Rich would like to tell you that’s an ASSUME situation.

@Rich Wheeler:

Logical? Remember who you’re talking to

Right, someone that has rarely seen a logical Dimocrat.

@Redteam: You fail to see where members of the Tea Party are inclined to vote for any particular party. Did you really say that RT.–you are getting dizzier by the minute. I’m lovin it.

@Rich Wheeler:

You fail to see where members of the Tea Party are inclined to vote for any particular party.

You have some inside info? You actually see how people are voting? Is that legal? time to put that toothpaste back in the tube.

@Redteam: Your hopeless RT lol That home schooling you got from your beloved mama has clearly been in vain.

@Rich Wheeler:

schooling

Hey one more word you’ve learned to spell. And without the help of toothpaste.

has clearly been in vain.

Maybe, but it sure taught you how to spell schooling.

@Greg: NAACP NOT affiliated with the Democrat party? Have you noticed what the NAACP does to blacks that do NOT follow the strict left wing Democrat party line?

@Redteam: And how to properly use “Mama”. Let’s thank the Good Lord she is in a better place.
We wouldn’t want her to witness the final results of her efforts to home school you all those years. What has happened RT. When did you lose your SOUL? Your HUMANITY?
80 sunny degrees in San Clemente. I’m going down to the ocean. Back later. Get out for awhile RT. I think you’ll feel better.

@Rich Wheeler

We’ve heard from RT – and big surprise- o5. Nan was in agreement

In agreement on what? Something swirling around in your head? Exactly what is it I am supposed to be agreeing on?

I’d love to get the thoughts of others at F.A.

Why? Do you need the support of others for some reason? Who are you looking for? Someone who will agree that the First Amendment should have different standards for different people; one standard for white people, another standard for blacks? Because that damn sure seems to be your opinion when you yell “get a rope” for Sterling, yet never condemn your own party for calling Clarence Thomas an “Uncle Tom” or causing the harm Al Sharpton has caused only resulting in him getting his own TV show.

@Rich Wheeler:

Let’s thank the Good Lord she is in a better place.
We wouldn’t want her to witness the final results of her efforts to home school you all those years.

The fact that you would even go there, discussing someone’s deceased mother, shows what I have said about you for quite a while now; you have no honor.

@Redteam, #81:

But I fail to see where members of the TEA Party are inclined to vote for any particular party…

You might have a point. They generally seem to vote against things, rather than for things.

@Greg:

They generally seem to vote against things, rather than for things.

I think I might agree with that, at least part of the time.

@Redteam: Phone up Monica and Linda Tripp for their opinions.

@Greg: Your correct if you say the Tea Party Patriots are mostly Republicans!! That’s exactly why the Republicans with the Tea Party Patriots took back the House in historic numbers in 2010. They ran unified against wasteful spending and 0-blamacare in 2010 and took the House and in 2014 it will happen again but the Senate will then be under Republican control as well as gains in the House!! When your Democrat President runs by telling America Al Qaeda is on their heels and then Benghazi blows up or when he tells America if you like your health insurance and/or doctor you can keep them “period” America will remember!!
