Al Qaeda is on its way to defeat:

“The core of al Qaeda in Afghanistan and Pakistan is on the way to defeat.”

As the 2012 election neared Obama told us no less than 32 times that Al Qaeda was toast:

President Barack Obama has described al Qaeda as having been “decimated,” “on the path to defeat” or some other variation at least 32 times since the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, according to White House transcripts.

Stick a fork in ’em:

One day after the Benghazi attack that occurred on the 11th anniversary of 9/11, Obama spoke at a campaign event in Las Vegas on Sept. 12.

“A day after 9/11, we are reminded that a new tower rises above the New York skyline, but al Qaeda is on the path to defeat and bin Laden is dead,” Obama said in Las Vegas.

On Sept. 13 in Golden, Colo., Obama said, “Four years ago, I promised to end the war in Iraq — and we did. I said we’d wind down the war in Afghanistan — and we are. And while a new tower rises above the New York skyline, al Qaeda is on the path to defeat, and Osama bin Laden is dead.” He repeated that line again on Sept. 17 in Cincinnati and again that day in Columbus, Ohio.

The next day at a fundraising event at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York, Obama brought up the first 9/11 and used “decimated,” indicating past tense.

“We’ve got choices about war and peace,” Obama said. “I ended the war in Iraq, as I promised. We are transitioning out of Afghanistan. We have gone after the terrorists who actually attacked us 9/11 and decimated al Qaeda.”

On Sept. 20, speaking at the University of Miami, Obama said, “We’ve decimated al Qaeda’s top leadership in the border regions around Pakistan, but in Yemen, in Libya, in other of these places – increasingly in places like Syria – what you see is these elements that don’t have the same capacity that a bin Laden or core al Qaeda had, but can still cause a lot of damage, and we’ve got to make sure that we remain vigilant and are focused on preventing them from doing us any harm.”

On Sept. 21 in Woodbridge, Va. and Sept. 23 in Milwaukee, Obama again said, “al Qaeda is on the path to defeat.”

Off the campaign trail on Sept. 25, Obama spoke to the United Nations General Assembly and said, “Al Qaeda has been weakened, and Osama bin Laden is no more.”

The next day, campaigning in Bowling Green, Ohio, Obama again said, “al Qaeda is on the path to defeat.” That same day at Kent State University, Obama used the same line. Obama said the same thing on Sept. 27 in Virginia Beach, Va.

On Sept. 28 at the Hilton in Washington, Obama said, “We said that we would go after al Qaeda, and they are on the run and bin Laden is dead.”

Everything is all better!

The global war on terror is over.

“We must define our effort not as a boundless ‘Global War on Terror,’ but rather as a series of persistent, targeted efforts to dismantle specific networks of violent extremists that threaten America,”

– all over the world. As in worldwide. As in global.

If we’re still blasting them with drones on the other side of the world, isn’t that a “worldwide” war on terror?

Oh, no, says Jay Carney

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said there is “no question” that al-Qaeda is on the run, even though U.S. outposts remain closed due to terror threats throughout the world.

“We do stand by that,” Carney said on Tuesday when asked if he stands by his previous comments that al-Qaeda has been weakened despite the recent threat, according to the pool report.

“There’s no question that core al-Qaeda in Afghanistan and Pakistan has been severely diminished,” he said.

And let’s not talk of Islamic terrorism, despite the fact the Islamic militants are committing acts of terror in the name of Islam!

So that’s official! Islamism or militant Islam and terrorism are not linked either. There is absolutely no connection whatsoever between Islam, in any of its forms, and terrorism. The only thing that is linked to terrorism are various ‘death cults’ or ‘sects’. This is now the truth according to Barack Obama too. Obama ordered a revision of America’s National Security Strategy, around three years ago, so as to erase all possible connections between Islam and terrorism. That is, between Islam and anything violent.

This is thought control. It’s all really about words; not about realities or actions.

Brain dead liberals (what other kind is there?) seized upon the elimination of Bin Laden as a celebration- kind of a VAQ Day. The war was over, Bin Laden is dead. The world is safe. Our Lord Barack has been our salvation. The Chicago Jesus has done it.

All that Obama peacocking and chest thumping reminded me of this:

Like Fred, Al Qaeda is not dead. Far from it, and they just sent Obama a single digit salute.

Apparently Obama has been so busy with the war on women, minimum wage battles and utilizing so many spying resources persecuting conservatives, Christians, Republicans and Cliven Bundy that there just weren’t enough to go around to notice this largest meeting of the AQ bourgeois in a long time:

Washington (CNN) — A new video shows what looks like the largest and most dangerous gathering of al Qaeda in years. And the CIA and the Pentagon either didn’t know about it or couldn’t get a drone there in time to strike.

U.S. officials won’t comment on that, but every frame of the video is now being analyzed by the United States.

In the middle of the clip, the man known as al Qaeda’s crown prince, Nasir al-Wuhayshi, appears brazenly out in the open, greeting followers in Yemen. Al-Wuhayshi, the No. 2 leader of al Qaeda globally and the head of al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, has said he wants to attack the United States. But in the video, he looks unconcerned that he could be hit by an American drone.

The video started appearing on jihadist websites recently, drawing the attention of U.S. officials and global terrorism experts. U.S. officials say they believe it’s authentic.

And their stated goal is the elimination of Christianity and the United States:

“We must eliminate the cross. … The bearer of the cross is America!”

You can keep your plan
You can keep your doctor
Obamacare will save you $2500 per year

Al Qaeda is on the path to defeat

It’d be funny if it wasn’t so deadly. Barack Obama has played fast and loose with foreign policy and national security and we are going to pay for it.

Anyone know what the minimum wage is for jihadists?

If you notice the details of this al Qaeda video, as was mentioned, the al Qaeda leadership wear no masks.
They are unafraid of a drone strike.
But that does NOT mean they want all of their fighters’ identities seen!
Note the skin color of those men whose faces are blurred out by the makers of this al Qaeda video.
Some, many of those men are white people, Europeans and Americans.
Not only is al Qaeda not on the run, but soon their ethnic European members will be attempting attacks on American and European soils.
How can Obama stop this?
He cannot as long as all he wants to aim at is non-Islamic ”terrorists,” like the Catholic Church’s Little sisters of the Poor and the Hobby Lobby, the TEA Party organizations and beef growers.

The debate is over! So let it be written, so let it be done.

Why should anyone take your fears seriously ? You were all wrong about the Dow you couldn’t even predict the 2012 election
When was the lady time that all Qaeda was able yo even try anything here in the USA that needed 2 or more people ?
You all said that ACA would never fix its website problems then you said that even if they did fix it no one would sign up then you said they would never reach the goal of 7 million then you said the numbers COULDN’T be right they had to be cooked
Great claims require great proof you guys never get the proof! Benghazi ?? Issa was a flop Clinton will be elected

I’m not feeling the Love Dr. John…In fact just as many people hate us now as ever…

@John: #3

…you couldn’t even predict the 2012 election

THINGS THAT ARE HARD TO PREDICT ABOUT ELECTIONS
(1) How many dead people will vote?
(2) How many illegals will vote?
(3) How many times each of the above will vote more than once, and how many times?
(4) How many voting machines will change a republican vote into a democratic vote?
(5) How many voting places will have the poll watcher removed BY FORCE for a while?
(6) How many places will the Black Panthers and other organizations try to keep certain people from voting?

All of them added up together makes it hard to predict who will win an election. Maybe there should be a law written that says that ONLY LIVE citizens of the USA can vote, and that they can ONLY vote once, and ONLY in one place.

You all said that ACA would never fix its website problems….

The problems were never fixed. They scrapped the almost $1,000,000,000 program and are paying hundreds of millions for another program, again to an obama donor. Did you forget about that? Don’t you think that the web site should have gone up for a bid? Show me any major company that paid even 1/10 the price to have their web site set up, and I’m guessing that some are more complicated than the obamacare one, when you figure some web sites will ask what language you want, and many countries are listed.

…then you said that even if they did fix it no one would sign up….

If you subtract the ones who signed up for Medicaid for the first time, and the ones who were RENEWING their insurance, how many would be left? You know that they were included in the obama count.

…then you said they would never reach the goal of 7 million then you said the numbers COULDN’T be right they had to be cooked….

How many people have actually gotten their payment in and received notice that they are insured. Many have gone to the doctor after signing up and sending in a payment, but the doctor said they aren’t registered. Then, we find out that the almost $1,000,000,000 web site didn’t include any way to accept payments. Did you forget about that?

How can you keep defending a web site that DOESN’T EXIST ANY MORE? It was scrapped.

Great claims require great proof you guys never get the proof!

Propaganda machines are programed not to accept the truth when they see or hear it. Most of us like to make up our own minds by watching and listening to as many sides as we can, then deciding by the facts what we want to believe. You have to WANT THE TRUTH before you will find it. You are stumbling all over it here, but you still don’t want to find it.

@John: I can’t help but notice that the claim by the left that Obamacare would lower health care costs, insure millions that were not previously insured and be as easy as “buying a television on Amazon” has failed to materialize. While you claim the 7.1 million who “signed up” represents “insured”, no one with the administration claims to have the ability to figure out a general number of those actually insured… so how can anyone say the 7.1 million are insured?

The law was not called “The See How Many Sign Up Act”; it was called (sarcastically, perhaps) “The Affordable Care Act”. Now, if the primary purpose of the law was to gain insurance for those previously NOT insured, would it not be reasonable to assume that some means of COUNTING those who become the newly insured would have been built into the system? I think it was, but the numbers stink, so no one in the administration will mention them. Far better to allow useful idiots to ASSUME 7.1 million is the number of insured.

As to predicting elections, that is only possible when you control the elements. Liberals control the elements; they control the propaganda and they control the voter fraud. So, for the first time in history, a President is reelected that has a failing economy and over 7% unemployment (despite the false figures created by the administration).
