Barack Obama reached his tipping point today. I don’t see him recovering from this confluence of events. Today we know for a fact that there is only one avenue left to salvage the rule of law in this country.
Impeachment.
Today Barack Obama reached a new low in the polls:
President Obama’s job approval rating hits a record low this week, as a majority of Americans say his administration has mostly failed at growing the economy, creating jobs, improving health care and the country’s image.
That’s according to a Fox News poll released Wednesday.
For the first time in a Fox News poll, fewer than four voters in ten — 38 percent — approve of President Obama’s job performance. Fifty-four percent disapprove. Before now Obama’s worst job rating was 40-55 percent in November 2013. Last month 42 percent approved and 53 percent disapproved (February 2014).
In what was called a “stinging defeat” the Senate, including seven democrats, rejected a cop-killer loving nominee for a civil rights post in the DOJ.
Today Barack Obama admitted that Obamacare is such a piece of shit that it was necessary to delay it until his term in office is essentially done. Obama knows it’s so toxic that it has to be smothered to protect democrats in the next elections.
Today Lois Lerner again refused to testify before Darryl Issa’s House Oversight committee. Emails show that Lerner had agreed to testify without immunity. Neither the House Oversight Committee nor the Ways and Means Committee have not received all the Lerner emails they requested.
They are considering finding Lerner in Contempt of Congress, but so what? There was a time that that meant something, but in the Obama era it means no more than a pebble in your shoe.
Eric Holder was held in Contempt of Congress but Holder has had nothing but contempt for the law.
The FBI indicated that no charges would arise from the IRS scandal without so much as interviewing a single victim.
Barack Obama promised to aid the investigation but everyone knows that Obama’s promises are worth less than snail excrement.
Obama attitude toward the IRS scandal has “evolved”:
May 2013: Outrage at the information he has just learned, only from reporters, vague and lofty promises to right this wrong and hold people accountable, lest the very fabric of this nation be sullied.
“This is pretty straight forward. If, in fact, IRS personnel engaged in that kind of practice and intentionally harmed conservative groups, that is outrageous,” Obama said. “That’s outrageous, and there’s no place for it, and they have to be held fully accountable.”
“I don’t care if you’re a Democrat, Independent, or a Republican,” Obama said. “At some point there is going to be a Republican administration. Either way, you don’t want the IRS ever being perceived as anything less than neutral. This is something I think people are properly concerned about.”
“If you got the IRS acting as anything other than a nonpartisan way, then that is outrageous, that is contrary to our traditions, and people have got to be held accountable and it has got to be fixed.”
July 2013: Curt dismissal, slight sadness that this scandal formerly known as an outrageous threat to our nation’s integrity which he would not tolerate, is now distracting from serious issues, like all the tax money he wants to spend.
For most of this year, we’ve seen an endless parade of distractions and political posturing and phony scandals and we keep on shifting our way — shifting our attention away from what we should be focused on, which is how do we strengthen the middle class and grow the economy for everybody?

He lies, but Obama always lies.
He is clearly trying to run out the clock. He has become dismissive of the scandal-scandals, more correctly. He is ignoring them and sneering at the rule of law. He appointed an Attorney General who is contemptuous of the law and whose mission is not to protect the rule of law of the United States, but rather to shield his employer from the ramifications of his misdeeds.
That doesn’t leave much recourse and the remedy is impeachment. All it takes is a simply majority. There are quite a few vulnerable democrats likely to be convinced it’s the right thing to do. Conviction is unlikely but not impossible following November.
The rule of law is being not only ignored, but trampled and scorned and the country’s moral compass is in need of repair. If the President need not respect the law, why should any of us do so? We are supposed to be a nation of laws and not a nation of egos. Cicero said
“We are all servants of the laws in order that we may be free.”
Right now none of us is free.

Example: Yesterday Issa’s committee demonstrated a prima facie case that Lois Learner was involved in a political conspiracy directed by SOMEONE in D.C. to suppress the Tea Party vote before the ’12 election. The story in the MSM today is…Issa cut off a Democrat’s free speech.

Obama cannot be impeached.
As an Affirmative Action hire, he is fully supported by the EEOC. He need not meet any standard, being the first of his “race” to “serve” as President.
Any impeachment procedure would run into diatribes such as Rep Elijah Cummings during (and after) the abortive Lerner hearing.
Obama cannot be stopped. He controls the media. He has all the ammunition. He has the IRS. He controls the airwaves. He controls the Senate. He controls the courts. He has the czars at his back.

As an aside, it is obvious that cummings does not like Issa (for whatever reason). IMHO cummings has forgotten what he swore to do and that is to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States.
If there wasn’t even a smidgeon of corruption in the IRS scandal, then there is no reason for Lehrner to have taken the 5th. That is the point of discussion. How can one exercise their right not to incriminate themself if no crime was committed?
I think the country would be better served by demanding Obama release his sealed papers, thereby proving once and for all that he is constitutionally qualified to serve as POTUS. If it can be shown that he is NOT qualified, all his legislation, executive actions, court appointments, etc. will be null and void.
We as the citizens of this country should demand it by writing our elected representatives.
