Oprah: white people need to die

oprah says white people need to die_edited

It’s almost sad to see the decline of Oprah Winfrey. Almost. Winfrey is not content to luxuriate in the billions of dollars racist white America has given her. She feels compelled to come to the aid of the inept and dishonest Barack Obama, trashing whites who are critical of Obama as racists. But that’s not enough.

She wants them to die.

Oprah, promoting a movie, tells the BBC:

“There’s a level of disrespect for the office that occurs. And that occurs in some cases and maybe even many cases because he’s African American. There’s no question about that and it’s the kind of thing nobody ever says but everybody’s thinking it.”

There’s no question about it. Everybody’s thinking about it. It’s not that he’s a liar. It’s not that he’s incompetent. It’s only because he’s black.

And the solution for this endemic racism is white people need to die.

GOMPERTZ: Are you saying problem solved?

WINFREY: I’m saying problem not solved. I’m saying that, you know, that’s the beauty of a film like “The Butler,” and it’s the beauty of a film like “12 Years a Slave,” and it’s the beauty of what we’re seeing on stage with “Scottsboro Boys” is that it allows people to see where the root of the problem started. It allows people to see, “Oh, that’s where it all started, this is how far we’ve come, and now this is how much farther we need to go.” Of course problem is not solved. You know, as long as people can be judged by the color of their skin, problem’s not solved. As long as there are people who still, there’s a whole generation – I say this, you know, I said this, you know, for apartheid South Africa, I said this for my own, you know, community in the south – there are still generations of people, older people, who were born and bred and marinated in it, in that prejudice and racism, and they just have to die.

Noel Sheppard points out the obvious:

What Winfrey conveniently ignores is that she endorsed and campaigned for Obama BECAUSE he was an African-American. He wouldn’t have gotten her support or been elected if he wasn’t.

As we have noted previously, Oprah herself has a brush with racism with each new movie release.

Victor Davis Hanson notes Oprah’s short memory, hypocrisy and moral decline:

I don’t recall Oprah objecting when Bush was routinely shouted down. Did she deplore Al Gore calling the Bush team “digital brownshirts”? Or maybe John Glenn invoking the Nazis (“It’s the old Hitler business”) to talk about her president? Nor do I remember her weighing in on Linda Ronstadt’s claim that the Bush administration was “a new bunch of Hitlers.” Harry Belafonte and Julian Bond both routinely labeled their conservative opponents as little more than Nazis or KKK racists. Nor did Oprah note that “there’s a level of disrespect for the office that occurs” when Barbra Streisand compared Bush to Hermann Goering. Was she worried when Alfred A. Knopf published a novel about musing how to kill Bush? Or by a prize-winning docudrama film imagining the killing of Bush? What was her reaction a New York play, “I’m Gonna Kill the President,” was produced? Did Oprah once give a similar BBC interview about the office of the president and disrespect shown it in 2004 when a guest columnist in the Guardian, Charles Brooker, wrote: “On November 2, the entire civilised world will be praying, praying Bush loses. And Sod’s law dictates he’ll probably win, thereby disproving the existence of God once and for all. The world will endure four more years of idiocy, arrogance and unwarranted bloodshed, with no benevolent deity to watch over and save us. John Wilkes Booth, Lee Harvey Oswald, John Hinckley Jr. — where are you now that we need you?”

What might explain her outrage now about criticism shown Obama, but silence just recently when abject hatred and dreams of violence were voiced against her president? That answer may explain a lot about what Oprah has become.

Oprah wants white people to die. There’s no question about that and it’s the kind of thing nobody ever says but everybody’s thinking it

If Oprah really wants to see what disrespect for a President looks like, she can go here.

And that’s just for starters.

@Redteam, #199:

So you’re saying what she really meant is that Black people need to die.

No, I’m afraid not. Let’s try a third time. It isn’t really that difficult.

As was noted all the way back in post #39, the meaning of what she said is actually this: Some people have been filled with racist ideas and racist perceptions throughout their entire lives. It’s what they grew up with, and it’s very unlikely that they can ever change. That sort of entrenched racism will pass only when the generation that carries it passes.

What you keep rephrasing as what she, meant to say, is not what she said.

M Gibson
we are seeing those young blacks knockout the white citizens who
pass by them, presuming they are good citizens to walk by and not be attack,
well this is the destruction of that mindset, that the young blacks are to be trusted,
too bad for the other who are decent citizens, they will pay for the bad one,
and yes as you say, OPRAH’S wish will becoming the reverse OPRAH’s wish,
WHEN THE WHITES beat up THE YOUNG BLACKS BECAUSE THEY ARE BLACK ,
WITHOUT ASKING IF THEY ARE GOOD OR NOT,
she really messed it up now,

@retire05:

Really? Because I, also, have never heard that term before. Are you telling us you are an American Indian, Aqua?

Yep, 62.4% according to the DNA tests. I think everyone should get one of those. Pretty cool to find out where all your ancestors come from.

@Redteam:

(I didn’t know that all of them were eliminated in 1832).

Google Trail of Tears, or use the search engine of your choice.

It’s called Helter Skelter. The ultimate race war and Charles Manson predicted itover 40 years ago.

@Aqua: I haven’t had time to go through all of these comments, but I would be curious enough to know if these people making this type of comment were ‘first timers’. It has been proven that a lot of posters are being paid by democrats/progressives to infiltrate a blog/forum and to incite ‘riots’. It is rampant on a lot of the other media sites. Since I have been posting on this site, I have not seen anyone making such dire threats.

Personally, I have my own thoughts on the subject and that is where they stay, in my thoughts.

Aqua
you are proud of your roots, I’M SURE,
they are deep in the ground with their blood spilled all over the land they owned totaly,
and where rob of it literaly, BECAUSE THEY WHERE AS OWNERS NEVER ASK, BUT ROBED OF IT,
oh they where attacking the settlers, oh my what a way to fight for trying to keep what was theirs,
they had their braves WARRIORS, trying to protect their family, it was fair fight,except they where facing
hell dressed with sainthood, inciting the new commers to get rid of them period,
yes you must be proud of your ANCESTORS HAVING BEEN GIVEN THAT LAND SO VASTE AS NO EYES COULD SEE THE END OF IT, they are named : THE FIRST NATION IN CANADA, AND ALSO HAVE
A TRAIL OF TEARS FROM THE CHRISTIAN ORPHANAGES who decide to educate theIR CHILDREN, and make them forget their roots, it lasted for years, and today is exposed by
the people who kew and those who lived in it, THEY LIVE IN SHAME BECAUSE OF IT,
it made the indians right to suspect those who arrived from other countries and wage their war,
even outnumbered, they pursue till death, and decimated by sickness brought in from afar countries,
they lost theses land geven to them by the SPIRIT OF THE CREATOR putting his trust in them to take care of it and it’s animals and all living being,
BUT THEY KEPT THE PRIDE AND THE RESPECT OF FUTURE GENERATIONS OF LAND LOVING HUMANS,
AND ARE VERY APPRECIATIVE OF THEIR INNER KNOWLEDGE OF HOW TO TREAT THE LAND GIVEN TO THOSE NEW LAND OWNERS,

@enchanted:

I haven’t had time to go through all of these comments, but I would be curious enough to know if these people making this type of comment were ‘first timers’.

True! I even said most if not all of those comments were one-offs. We all know there are liberals trolling conservative blogs. I’m also pretty sure that there are some people that actually believed what they posted.

But the overwhelming majority of conservatives disagree with President Obama and his administration based on solid philosophical differences. It has absolutely nothing to do with the color of anyone’s skin. If that were the case, we could say liberals hate Hispanics. We could base this on the way they treated Miquel Estrada.

@Redteam: You said ‘Lattimore and Jessup were proven” by who?” Shapely was “cut and dried” What does that mean?
Dorothy Keagan and Frederick Shuman were falsely accused. There’s plenty more. Pretty much anyone who disagreed with his radical politics got painted Commie. Sound familiar?
He had Congressional immunity.
McCARTHYISM===The practice of making accusations of disloyalty,subversion or treason without proper evidence.Reckless unsubstantiated accusations?
Attack on honesty or PATRIOTISM of political adversaries. sound familiar

The far left may have Alinsky—-seems the far right has McCARTHY. As evidenced here at F.A.

Richard Wheeler
that practist belong to the democrats and their loyalist
every time one speak on FOX about a failure from administration,
iN 1 , 2, 3, seconds they will accuse the republicans of faults,
they have that nasty sickness to cover the fault of the leader. using the REPUBLICANS,
THEY ARE SO OBVIOUS,

@ilovebeeswarzone:

Aqua
you are proud of your roots, I’M SURE,

Ms. Bees, I rarely consider my ancestry unless race is thrown in my face. Like most Americans, I consider myself a good ole fashion mutt. I think we’re all a lot more closely related than people believe.

@M Gibson, #203:

What you keep rephrasing as what she, meant to say, is not what she said.

The following is what she said, verbatim:

“I’m saying problem not solved. As long as there are people who still, there’s a whole generation – I say this, you know, I said this, you know, for apartheid South Africa, I said this for my own, you know, community in the south – there are still generations of people, older people, who were born and bred and marinated in it, in that prejudice and racism, and they just have to die.”

I’ve done nothing more than paraphrase for clarification. “White people need to die” is a deliberate distortion of her meaning.

@M Gibson, #203:

I merely paraphrased what she said. Someone else has deliberately distorted her entire meaning. A person either gets that or a person is as dumb as a box of rocks. Feel free to choose your own category.

Greg
which one do you think YOU fit in?

@Aqua, #213:

An anthropologist has told me that what we think of as race is nothing more than a concentration of genetic traits, any of which could be present in any human being. He says that clear dividing lines between races as groups are pretty much a product of the imagination. One race blends imperceptibly into another.

@Aqua:

Yep, 62.4% according to the DNA tests.

Now wait a minute. I heard the other day that we get 98% of our DNA from monkeys so apparently they only check the last 2%. So I guess that means it is 62.4% of that 2%. I thought they eliminated all the indians in 1832, how did they miss your relatives? (I’m just kidding)

@Richard Wheeler:

Dorothy Keagan and Frederick Shuman were falsely accused.

RW, before you throw out all these names, at least read up on Google. Everyone you’ve thrown out, I’ve posted proof. I’m sure you threw out what you thought were your most provable cases and they all got blown down. Why don’t you supply the proof that they were falsely accused. Just because the Dimocrats later gave them their jobs back, in some cases, only shows that Dims don’t want to get rid of communists.

@enchanted, #208:

It has been proven that a lot of posters are being paid by democrats/progressives to infiltrate a blog/forum and to incite ‘riots’.

No, it hasn’t been “proven.” That’s pure conspiracy theory. Nearly everyone who posts to forums or blogs on the internet does so either because they want to express their own opinions or because they want to argue with someone else’s—usually both.

Paint a wall white in any public accessible area and pass out free marking pens. You won’t have to pay anyone to collect comments.

@Smorgasbord: 201 True:

I agree, but there are situations where a person is required to put their race down. One example would be a hospital, since different races have different medical situations.

but that doesn’t have to apply to public occasions, such as the news.

@Greg:

Some people have been filled with racist ideas and racist perceptions throughout their entire lives. It’s what they grew up with, and it’s very unlikely that they can ever change. That sort of entrenched racism will pass only when the generation that carries it passes.

Greg are you trying to imply that Oprah is not included in the group with entrenched racism?

Greg… How dumb can you be? You left out the part she was responding to. She blamed disagreements with obamacare, and anything else in relation to him on whites racism. Then when asked about that response is when she said they need to die. Oprah is a racist spoiled brat who plays victim all the time.

@Richard Wheeler:

McCARTHYISM===The practice of making accusations of disloyalty,subversion or treason without proper evidence.Reckless unsubstantiated accusations?

I don’t accept the secular progressive definition of McCarthy. Since so many were falsely accused you should be able to link us to at least one where there is indisputable proof.

@Aqua:

I rarely consider my ancestry unless race is thrown in my face.

How does anyone know of your race? Surely you don’t wear a feather in your headband or anything to make it obvious. And I’m not suggesting you shouldn’t but I don’t believe I could just look at a distant descendant of an Indian and tell anything about his ‘race’.

@Redteam: Since when does someone have to prove that they are falsely accused–in effect prove their innocence? Ridiculous assertion. See again McCarthyism RT. You seem to be a disciple of this guy.
I’ve given you 5 people he falsely accused.When you finish proving beyond a reasonable doubt these 5 were communists, I’ll give you 5 more that were falsely accused.

@Greg: 217 LOL

@Redteam, #222:

Greg are you trying to imply that Oprah is not included in the group with entrenched racism?

Oprah Winfrey is highly conscious of racism and talks about it. That may annoy you, but that doesn’t make her a racist. Twisting her words doesn’t make her a racist, either.

The right seems to have a deep need to find some sort of racist parity, apparently to counterbalance the undeniable fact that they have racists in their midst. Actual parity will be a hard thing to come by. Black people didn’t keep entire generations of your ancestors in slavery or methodically oppress them for another 100 years after slavery ended, rationalizing the entire thing with widely held racist theories that they often attempted to dignify as science.

@Richard Wheeler:

Since when does someone have to prove that they are falsely accused. Ridiculous assertion. See again McCarthyism RT. You seem to be a disciple of this guy.

As I pointed out, and you echoed, McCarthy was not required to prove what he said on the Senate floor or in his hearings. Those that were innocent, supplied proof privately and their names were never released. Over 400 or the 600+ that were accused. You seem to overlook that little stat. Those that had their names released, the ones we’re discussing here, the charges were indisputable. And to date, none have been proven to have not been guilty.
I do remember watching McCarthy and I was surprised how many freely admitted to being members or past members of the communist party. Many thought it was a requirement to be in the FDR administration because so many Dept heads were members. It was not considered bad until after the war to be a communist. You seem to be overlooking that little tidbit.

@Richard Wheeler:

I’ve given you 5 people he falsely accused.When you finish proving beyond a reasonable doubtthese 5 were communists I’ll give you 5 more that were falsely accused.

So far all you’ve given me have been shot down. Kind of a waste of time for you to keep throwing out names and making false statements trying to vindicate them. How come you’re not able to supply the documentation that clearly shows McCarthy was wrong?

@Greg:

Oprah Winfrey is highly conscious of racism and talks about it. That may annoy you, but that doesn’t make her a racist. Twisting her words doesn’t make her a racist, either.

Just because she is a liberal icon doesn’t mean she’s not a racist. If she’s not, then racism doesn’t exist. She could be the poster child for the cause.

@Greg:

The right seems to have a deep need to find some sort of racist parity,

That said by a member of the party of slavery, KKK, John Birch, and on and on.

@Greg:

Black people didn’t keep entire generations of your ancestors in slavery or methodically oppress them for another 100 years after slavery ended,

If it had been up to the Dimocrats, it might never have ended. Just for the record, those black people were captured and sold into slavery by their brothers. Slavery started in Africa and is still there and I don’t believe the far right is running Africa. Those that don’t know History, keep repeating it. Slavery still exists.

Maybe it’s time for you to prove that you’re not a narrow minded bigot. Unless you can provide clear evidence to the contrary, it will be assumed that you are.

Don’t you see how unfair that would be?

There’s McCarthy’s modus operandi, in a nutshell.

@Greg:

Black people didn’t keep entire generations of your ancestors in slavery

That is currently in the running for the #1 dumbest statement I’ve read on this blog.

On a totally different topic, the GOP can consider themselves nuked. BOOM.

@Redteam: The ultra-Conservative John Birch Society was founded in 1958 by Robert Welch who’d run as a Repub. for Lt. Gov. of Mass. Wrong again Mac.

@Greg:

Maybe it’s time for you to prove that you’re not a narrow minded bigot. Unless you can provide clear evidence to the contrary, it will be assumed that you are.

coming from a secular progressive, thanks for the compliment.

@Greg:

the GOP can consider themselves nuked.

An act of total desperation. Do you need any more proof that the Dims are going for a dictatorship? Obama wants to get all the courts packed in the next year, before the Republicans take over the Senate with about 61 Senators. FDR, led by his fellow communists tried that with the Supreme Court, but he got shot down.
Do I read a little enthusiasm into the progressives at the act of desperation on the attempted destruction of the republic. They will have to live with their rules after the election of ’14.

@Richard Wheeler: Following your normal practice, what disparaging things do you have to say about the Navy or Marine Corps today?

@Richard Wheeler:

The ultra-Conservative John Birch Society

that was a test, to see if you knew how to use Google, so now use it to find a list of those falsely accused by McCarthy.

@Redteam: You seem very confused today. You give false info about formation of the JBS. You bring up the Naval Service for no apparent reason. You agree with Greg that you are a narrow minded bigot.You totally wiffed on my requests in #’s 226 and 236. What’s the problem?
BTW Mac– I notice you are now accusing FDR of being a Communist.

@Aqua:

Yep, 62.4% according to the DNA tests. I think everyone should get one of those. Pretty cool to find out where all your ancestors come from.

So you’re claiming that you paid for a DNA trace to see where you ancestors came from? What? You never heard of Ancestry.com? 🙂

Get back to me when you are on the Dawes Rolls and can track your family heritage back to John Ross. And at 62.4% ( a mathematical impossibility) you would have had to have at least two grandparents that were full Native Americans and another one that was half (62.5%). If that is the case, what tribe? What band?

Oh, and did that DNA marker show you what part of Europe/Asia/Africa/Middle East your family hailed from?

@Richard Wheeler:

I notice you are now accusing FDR of being a Communist.

Are you claiming that FDR was not a Socialist? Do you even know what the bridge is between democracy and Communism? Are you saying there were no Communists in the FDR administration?

@retire05, #244:

Get back to me when you are on the Dawes Rolls and can track your family heritage back to John Ross. And at 62.4% ( a mathematical impossibility) you would have had to have at least two grandparents that were full Native Americans and another one that was half (62.5%).

Such testing would determine how many of a certain number of searched for genetic markers are present, the total being searched for depending on the nature of the test. Consequently the numbers don’t reflect a specific number of generational ancestors having certain specific “percentages” of Native American “blood.” The tests aren’t counting people; they’re counting identifiable genetic patterns that correlate with the probability of various origins. You don’t necessarily get the sort of neat mathematical percentages a genealogist would calculate, based on 2 parents, 4 grandparents, 8 great-grandparents, etc, each being 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, or whatever. A genealogist’s calculations seem more certain, but they’re actually more accurate.

More importantly, why are you so mean to people? Santa is going to leave some lumps of coal in your sock if you’re not careful.

@Richard Wheeler:

You give false info about formation of the JBS.

Nope, clearly a test of your ability.
I brought up the Navy to ask you if you had your normal disparaging remarks about them and the Marine Corps, as you have developed a pattern of. I’ve asked you several times to apologize to them, but you refuse.

“You agree with Greg that you are a narrow minded bigot.”

As I said, coming from a secular progressive,, a compliment.

I notice you are now accusing FDR of being a Communist.

Another measure of the benefit of your toilet paper diploma. Go back an deconstruct that sentence.

You totally wiffed on my requests in #’s 226 and 236. What’s the problem?

I didn’t go back to those two comments to see what they were, I figured just more running down the Navy and Marine Corps, and I didn’t care to read that crap.

@retire05:

Oh, and did that DNA marker show you what part of Europe/Asia/Africa/Middle East your family hailed from?

As I asked Aqua, wonder how they associated him with indians? I don’t believe the average person’s heritage can be determined by ‘looking at them’. Ancestry.com is pretty useless for going back very far, even tho Michelle Obama claims she is related to Abraham Lincoln. You ever see the diagram of Obama? It says he is descended from several ‘male Obama’s’ but they don’t know any of their first names. Didn’t know any of the names of any of the wives of those. I think there are several wild ass assumptions that any of his ancestors were named Obama. There certainly has been no proof of it. Ancestry.com shows 3 generations before my grandfather, but basically only the males. Little available on my grandmother’s line at all.

@retire05: FDR was a Democrat. The Socialist Party ran Norman Thomas against him.
Don’t know if there were Commies in his Admin or Truman’s or Ike’s. None served openly.

Mac er RT says FDR was a Communist. What say you?

@Greg:

You don’t necessarily get the sort of neat mathematical percentages a genealogist would calculate,

And as I said above, 98% of human DNA is identical to monkeys, you are only looking at the other 2%.

@Richard Wheeler:

Mac er RT says FDR was a Communist. What say you?

LOL, your toilet paper diploma at work. Point out, or quote where I said FDR was a communist. What’s the reason you don’t post your daily disparaging remarks about the Marine Corps, somebody call you out on it?
