When is enough enough, liberals?

Flopping Aces has extensively documented the pain Barack Obama has chosen to inflict on this country because his highness is displeased that his servants in the GOP refuse to kneel.

It seems that Obama still has the pedal to the metal screaming down Agony Avenue in the Hurt Limo.

Priests in the military apparently have been banned from serving mass. I they do try to perform a mass, they will be subject to arrest.

Warnings have been issued about the potential abuse of personal information by Obamacare navigators.

Private information you post while signing up for Obamacare may be used against you in a court of law.

Obama has converted the Park Police into his own Gestapo:

Vaillancourt was one of thousands of people who found themselves in a national park as the federal government shutdown went into effect on Oct. 1. For many hours her tour group, which included senior citizen visitors from Japan, Australia, Canada and the United States, were locked in a Yellowstone National Park hotel under armed guard. The tourists were treated harshly by armed park employees, she said, so much so that some of the foreign tourists with limited English skills thought they were under arrest. When finally allowed to leave, the bus was not allowed to halt at all along the 2.5-hour trip out of the park, not even to stop at private bathrooms that were open along the route. “We’ve become a country of fear, guns and control,” said Vaillancourt, who grew up in Lawrence. “It was like they brought out the armed forces. Nobody was saying, ‘we’re sorry,’ it was all like — ” as she clenched her fist and banged it against her forearm.

Obama is spending far more money keeping people out of Parks than he ever would leaving them as they were.

Obama has put an end to therapy dogs visiting sick children:

Volunteers run the dog therapy program, but the veterinarians are on NIH staff and are paid as federal employees. In an Oct. 3 interview on National Public Radio’s Morning Edition, Abbey Whetzel talked about her son, Sam, who is dying of leukemia and enjoyed it when he was visited by the dogs. “They can only come once a week, but it’s the highlight of Sam’s week,” Whetzel said, adding that she was informed that the dogs would not be visiting because of the government shutdown. “He was disappointed,” Whetzel said. “He really looks forward to the dogs coming.

Cancer treatments have been defunded but NPR got a half a billion dollars:

LOS ANGELES – Funding for clinical cancer trials and other life-saving research under the National Institutes of Health was cut off in response to the government slimdown, but it looks like the cookie monster will still be knee-deep in chocolate chips (or is it carrots now?)

According to the Daily Treasury Statement and first reported by CNS News, the administration dished out $445 million to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) on the first day of the slimdown, which means funds for the likes of PBS Newshour, NPR and “Sesame Street” are being spent before cancer research.

“It’s more than irresponsible, it is reprehensible. It’s an ‘in-your-face’ move by the administration, blatantly picking winners and losers in this shutdown,” C. Edmund Wright, a columnist for Breitbart.com and American Thinker, told FOX411. “Public broadcasting is a staple of liberal propaganda.”

And as Media Research Center’s Director of Media Analysis, Tim Graham, pointed out, PBS has hosted two “very friendly” interviews with President Obama in recent weeks.

The CPB argued that it was indispensable, as opposed to cancer treatment:

But the CPB defended their big payday, telling FOX411 in a statement that their funding was “indispensable”and provide jobs for thousands of people.

It was noted that PBS has held two obsequious interviews with Obama over the last two weeks.

These are all Obama choices. They are meant to exert the maximal amount of pain on Americans- the Americans Obama took an oath to protect. This is not just bad judgment- it is evil.

When does the left stop swallowing the Koolaid?

Obamacare was premised on a set of lies- that you could keep your plan, keep your doctor and it was going to cost you less in premiums.

None of that is true.

It was supposed to reduce health care spending.

That’s not true either.

Obamacare was passed via legislative chicanery and legerdemain. We had to pass to find out what’s in it.

Obama unilaterally rewrites existing law from the Oval Office as he pleases, in violation of the Constitution:

Explaining his decision to unilaterally rewrite the Affordable Care Act, he said: “I didn’t simply choose to” ignore the statutory requirement for beginning in 2014 the employer mandate to provide employees with healthcare. No, “this was in consultation with businesses.”

He continued: “In a normal political environment, it would have been easier for me to simply call up the speaker and say, you know what, this is a tweak that doesn’t go to the essence of the law . . . it looks like there may be some better ways to do this, let’s make a technical change to the law. That would be the normal thing that I would prefer to do. But we’re not in a normal atmosphere around here when it comes to Obamacare. We did have the executive authority to do so, and we did so.”

Serving as props in the scripted charade of White House news conferences, journalists did not ask the pertinent question: “Where does the Constitution confer upon presidents the ‘executive authority’ to ignore the separation of powers by revising laws?” The question could have elicited an Obama rarity: Brevity. Because there is no such authority.

This is a bad law, as most that are hyper-partisan and rammed down the throat of America under dubious circumstances.

Please don’t argue that it’s wrong to try to change or defund established law. Dred Scott and Jim Crow laws were laws of the land. They were also bad law. I support any effort to modify or repeal this law, even to the point of default, and if for no other reason than to forever stain the Presidency of this vile, narcissistic and obstreperous man. The GOP is doing exactly the right thing, and one day this will be self-evident. Obamacare is nothing short of a disaster that is unfolding before our eyes.

Isn’t the job of the President to ensure the safety and welfare of America, as opposed to causing it the greatest amount of pain possible? Isn’t that a violation of the Oath of Office? Does it not violate the responsibility of the position?

So the question for you liberals is, when is enough enough?

UDPATE

The walls may be closing in. Obama is down to 37% approval. I don’t really care that people blame the GOP for the shutdown. These are the same stupid people who believed the lies in the first place and they aren’t going to re-elect Republicans in their own districts.

And in a very odd twist, Obama has summoned conservative journalists to the White House.

Likely to torture them on an off-shore black prison, er, I mean ship.

@Smorgasbord: 297 Yes, me too. I usually don’t resort to trying to insult someone, but for some reason lately some of the libs have just gotten so extreme, it seems they drive me to it, but that is my problem, not theirs. So I’ll try to refrain from it. I’ll try to stay on track and not be personal.

@Redteam: I do understand what you write. That’s the scary part.
Believe you’ve said you don’t comprehend much of what I write. KISS
Personal insults– Smorg is cool. You’ll never hear them from class act Conservatives like Aqua or Word.

Smorgasbord
294 wow how did we get that far,
yes about get rallies for them, they need to know they are respected and admire
by THE PEOPLE, IT WOULD BE TRAGIC TO MISS THE OCCASION TO TELL THEM
HOW MUCH WE OWE THEM, THOSE GIANTS OF AMERICA ARE SENSITIVE TO KNOW WE HAVE A DEBT
AND WE WANT TO REPAY FOR WHAT THEY ENDURE ALL THOSE MANY YEARS,
IF WE TELL THEM THEY BECOME WITH TEARS IN THEIR EYES, IT IS SOOTHING WORDS FOR THEM,
BECAUSE THEY HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN, IT’S SO HEAVY IN THEIR BRAINS AND THEIR DREAMS MAKE IT COME BACK SOMETIMES, SO OUR KIND WORDS AND APPRECIATION HELP A LOT MORE THAN WE WILL EVER KNOW,

@Richard Wheeler:

Believe you’ve said you don’t comprehend much of what I write. KISS

Don’t think I’ve ever said that. It’s not me with the comp prob.

Personal insults– Smorg is cool. You’ll never hear them from class act Conservatives like Aqua or Word.

I agree, sorry I can’t say that about you and me.

@Smorgasbord:

Let’s not forget that while Nixon was still doing his job, and trying to hit the campaign trail at the same time, Jack Kennedy was simply campaigning. It was Bobby Kennedy who came up with the idea of a televised debate, the first time it had ever been done. The intent was to portray a tired, aging Nixon against a youthful, exuberant Jack Kennedy who stopped campaigning and took days to become well rested prior to the debate.

It worked, and Kennedy, by all accounts was legitimately elected.

Well, at least for that little issue in Chicago involving the unions.

@retire05:

Well, at least for that little issue in Chicago involving the unions.

uh, and well, uh that little West Virginia problem…

@Smorgasbord:

In a Tea Party rally, this individual would have been asked not to show the Confederate flag.

Please, bear in mind that the press was looking for something to smear the Million Vet March over. Just like they look for something to smear the Tea Party with.

But did you notice the little attention paid to the recent rally of illegal aliens in D.C., held on the very Mall that was closed off to legal American citizens, complete with a large stage featuring a band that promotes El Reconquista and Aztlan? Did you notice that not one lamestream media outlet showed the Mexican flags being waved by illegals at the Mall along with the flags of Columbia and Venezuela?

But they had no problem finding ONE Confederate battle flag.

Nah, there’s no media bias.

@Redteam:

uh, and well, uh that little West Virginia problem…

And that little problem with the Italian mob based both in New York and Las Vegas.

@Redteam: and the little Texas problem. Other than that, Kennedy won the rest of them..

@retire05: yes, that was the little problem that resulted in 11/22/63

Iwas reading that OBAMA WILL KILL THE DOLLAR,
he said it to one person who was working for him before,
by this time he must have start already,
he also want to pay CHINA WITH THE USA LAND,
HE GAVE THEM THE OKAY TO DO NIGHT MILITARY TRAINING ACTIONS IN OUR WATERS AND THEY DO IT.
THE WORD ACTION IS NOT THE WORD I WAS LOOKING FOR,

@retire05: R.T and Smorg You know what they say about sore losers.
Bees How bout maneuvers or exercises?
How does Obama plan to kill the dollar?

@Redteam: #297
Listening to the CB radio for 20 years, I have heard many conversations that have lead into arguments. Once in a great while I have heard of it leading into actual fighting, and sometimes into someone killing the other one.

I started a habit of breaking into a conversation if it started getting into an argument, and changing the subject in a way that the two didn’t know I was doing it on purpose. Sometimes, I would tell the one who was brought into the argument that if they argue with the instigator, the instigator wins, because they brought you down to their level. I believe some people get on FA and other sites just to see how much trouble they can create, just like several truck drivers have told me personally they PURPOSELY try to stir up trouble on the CB.

I only wandered in here to see what all the fuss is going on (300+ comments, which I skimmed and skipped through) in here.

@Tom:

Of course it’s little surprise the event turned ugly, given the incitement provided by the event speakers.

One speaker went as far as saying the president was a Muslim and separately urged the crowd of hundreds to initiate a peaceful uprising.

“I call upon all of you to wage a second American nonviolent revolution, to use civil disobedience, and to demand that this president leave town, to get up, to put the Quran down, to get up off his knees, and to figuratively come out with his hands up,” said Larry Klayman of Freedom Watch, a conservative political advocacy group.

What an embarrassment. Klayman should have been booed and ridiculed off the stage.

I heard the organizers tried to distance themselves from such rhetoric:

Organizers of the Million Veterans March sought to distance themselves from the “political agenda” promoted at Sunday’s protests at the World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C., criticizing tea party activists for taking over the demonstration.

“The political agenda put forth by a local organizer in Washington DC [sic] yesterday was not in alignment with our message. We feel disheartened that some would seek to hijack the narrative for political gain,” the group wrote on its Facebook page Monday morning. “The core principle was and remains about all Americans honoring Veterans in a peaceful and apolitical manner. Our love for and our dedication to remains with Veterans, regardless of party affiliation or political leanings.”

@retire05: #305
I didn’t follow politics until I started listening to conservative radio talk shows, so I don’t know much about what happened till then, except for stories and documentaries about certain things.

@retire05: #307

Please, bear in mind that the press was looking for something to smear the Million Vet March over. Just like they look for something to smear the Tea Party with.

The organizers of the Tea Party Patriots knew the propaganda media would be after them, and would try to find ANYTHING negative they could say about it. This is why they emphasize the high standards they want members to stick to. This is also why the propaganda media can’t find hardly anything to complain about Tea Partiers. They have to make up stories, and doctor pictures, and go along with anything the democrats say about us.

But did you notice the little attention paid to the recent rally of illegal aliens in D.C.

They know that more people are listening to Fox News and going to conservative blogs, so things like that would be covered by them. They now have to look at their stories like Fox News and the blogs will report about, instead of just being able to spread any propaganda they want, like they used to be able to do.

Did you notice that not one lamestream media outlet showed the Mexican flags being waved by illegals at the Mall along with the flags of Columbia and Venezuela?

I didn’t pay much attention to the rally. I don’t pay a lot of attention to a lot of obama stuff. I should have known that there would be Mexican flags, but I didn’t think about it. I don’t think Fox News or the conservative blogs mentioned them, but the videos they showed had them in it.

@Richard Wheeler: #312

How does Obama plan to kill the dollar?

One way to do it is to print 87,000,000,000 of them per month until there are so many of them that they are almost worthless. That’s 1,044,000,000,000 per year. Even you have to admit that this is going to lead to inflation, don’t you? It won’t be long before the feds will run out of zeroes.

This reminds me of Ray Stevens going on the obama budget plan.

Richard Wheeler
yes maneuver is the right word,
thank you for giving it ,

WORDSMITH
HI,
it’s proof that all people are different, and they react differently but with the same anger
define in many images,
it’s more interesting to hear than SOME
on the other side shouting insult to TED CRUZ AND THE TEA PARTY, CONSERVATIVES ECETERA,
THEY REALY SHOW THEIR MIND AND THE AGENDA THEY FOLLOW WHICH IS VERY SCARY,

get HARRY REID OUT OF THERE AND OBAMA,
IF YOU WANT TO MAKE A DEAL FOR THE PEOPLE NOT FOR THE GOVERNMENT,
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH LIBERALS, SAY THE AMERICANS

@Aqua:

It’s no different than when the left protests a republican White House. I don’t like seeing the police get treated this way. Hell, some of them may even agree with the protesters; just like I’m sure there are some that agree when the left is protesting. You can’t expect the right to fight by one set of rules and allow the left to fight by another. What is it you want the right to do? Sit down, shut up, and obey? No…..we have first amendment rights, just like the ones illegal immigrants have somehow been magically granted.

…. the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

Sorry, I haven’t had a chance to respond in a timely fashion.

I agree there shouldn’t be two sets of rules. That doesn’t make a wrong a right, and many of the Right would have you think there’s nothing wrong with what these people are up to. One thing I want to clarify is that I have no issue with the veterans who are angry about the effects of the shutdown exercising their Constitution rights. While I’ve been pointing out the behavior of those caught on camera (which was not limited to one nut with a flag), I should have emphasized that we don’t even know who these people are. As others have pointed out, you can’t just talk about US veterans as if they’re this monolithic group that all think – or should think – the same way. Just this past weekend, I was at street festival where the Veterans for Peace had a booth and it drove home the point that vets speak in many difference voices. This got me thinking what a shame it is that, in a sense, veterans have been used as pawns in a PR war between the parties. We both probably disagree which side is more at fault for that, but it’s a shame all the same.

@Aqua:

The feeling is mutual. Although I obviously enjoy a heated debate – and occasionally mixing it up with some of the less welcoming denizens of the forum – I also want insight into how intelligent and principled conservatives think.

@Wordsmith:

Thanks for that update. Very interesting. It would not shock me in the slightest to find out that the perpetrators of some of the worst behavior at the march had little connection with the stated goals of the march and were using the event and the aura of the veterans as a tool to project their more narrow political agenda.

@Richard Wheeler:

R.T and Smorg You know what they say about sore losers.

No, I don’t, I’m never a sore loser so it’s not something that concerns me. I would expect you to know all about it, though

@Wordsmith:

What an embarrassment. Klayman should have been booed and ridiculed off the stage.

A problem with free speech, perhaps?

Redteam
I guess you had a good day,
I was wondering where you where,
WE MUST HIT THE 400,
bye

@Redteam: #324
I don’t know what he meant by it either, but I am so far behind on today’s lingo, I figured it was one of those new sayings.

@ilovebeeswarzone: we should get to 400

@Tom:

This got me thinking what a shame it is that, in a sense, veterans have been used as pawns in a PR war between the parties. We both probably disagree which side is more at fault for that, but it’s a shame all the same.

Couldn’t agree more. I went through this a few times in the Air Force while Reagan was president. They lined us all up and told us that there was a good chance we weren’t going to be paid. Then we were reminded that our contracts did not include pay.
But the biggest slap to the face while I was in came under George HW Bush. The congress (democrat at the time) wanted to pull health insurance coverage for dependents. That almost cost the country our military. The uproar was so bad, there was a general formation throughout the military. The made us line up in formation, which we just don’t do in the Air Force. Then they made us cite our oaths of enlistment. A year later, I left the Air Force after 10 years of service. Everyone said I was crazy; I had a great job, good career ahead of me. But I could not go through life and not be in control of my own destiny.
And this is where there will be some disagreement, but the military should be the first thing considered in any budget. Article 1 Section 8, enumerated power. Before healthcare, social security, food stamps, and anything else, the congress should provide for the common defense, pay debts, and provide for the general welfare. And by general welfare, the founders intentions were for the federal government to provide defense, economic stability in relation to other countries, and promote innovation. Madison made this clear in his letters when he said,

“If Congress can do whatever in their discretion can be done by money, and will promote the general welfare, the government is no longer a limited one….”

@Redteam:

A problem with free speech, perhaps?

Klayman has the right to say whatever he wants. I, and I’m guessing Word as well, have the right to make fun of him. As I said in an earlier post, I didn’t even know he was relevant any longer. He’s a total hack.

IDON’T THINK THE VETERANS had been used,
they came to the POLITIC CENTER WILLINGLY TO PROTEST,AND RIGHTFULLY,
they could not avoid politic, because it was the cause of the shutdown which prevent them to get in their their their MEMORIALS WHICH REPRESENT MORE TO THEM THAN TO THE POLITICIEN WHO
COULDN’T CARE LESS, EXCEPT THE REPUBLICANS AND CONSERVATIVES AND TEAPARTY,
THOSE STOOD UP WITH THE CAUSE FOR THEM, THEY WHERE NOT TRYING TO GAIN POINTS,
BECAUSE TED CRUZ HAD ALREADY MADE HIS POINT WITH OBAMA,
ALL BLENDED TOGETHER TO BE EXPECTED AGAINST OBAMA WHO TRY TO CONTROL THE PEOPLE
BY PUNISHING THEM IF THEY REFUSE, HE SAID TODAY THAT BOENER could not control his PEOPLE,
NO THE AMERICAN DON’T NEED TO BE CONTROL AS MUCH AS OBAMA WANT IT, AND AS MUCH AS HE TRY,
HE WILL NEVER CONTROL, HE IS THERE TO SERVE NOT CONTROL,
THE MILITARY VETERANS HAVE SEEN MORE COUNTRIES CONTROLED THAN OBAMA WILL NEVER SEE, AND IT WAS NOT IN AMERICA, WHERE THE FREEDOM DOESN’T ALLOW THE SOCIALIST CONTROL,
OBAMA SAID HE CONTROL HIS DEMOCRATS, OH YES WITH ALL THEIR BADMOUTHING THE REPUBLICAN THE CONSERVATIVES THE TEA PARTY,
NOBODY WILL ACCEPT THAT CONTROL, THIS IS A FREE COUNTRY,
DON’T YOU EVER FORGET IT,

@Aqua: #329

…but the military should be the first thing considered in any budget.

I agree, and a long time ago I asked my three federal politicians to introduce a bill that would fund the government by the numbers. Each agency, department, etc., would be given a number rating, and the military (including the VA) would be the only #1, and get it’s funding first. I know this will never happen with the incumbents, but we can ask the new ones running to agree to it.

This way of funding the government should reduce pork barrel spending, because the ones getting less than they think they should, or none at all, will look at the ones who did and see if funding was allocated that shouldn’t have been.
