Hey- did you see Obama say “Look, the guy was just having some fun. It doesn’t bother me. I laughed it off. After all, they did the same thing to Bush and Clinton”?

    Me neither.

Not to quibble, but most conservatives recognize that FOX, (while leaning to the right,) tends to take an “establishment” or sometimes even libertarian stance on their reporting and commentary. There is no “Conservative” television news channel.

I agree, I wasn’t making the point that Fox is ‘conservative’ but that they have the most truthful point of view on the News.

I heard some times ago, they where force to include some lib and DEMOCRAT in their program ,
BY SOME FRACTION OF IT, i don’t remember what fraction,
that’s why you see those debates show with talking heads you can spot right on the first sentence,

@Redteam: and Ditto–Do you think Shep,Megan and Fox “more honest” than Blitzer or Erin the Beautiful on CNN?

    ReplyReply
  8. Redteam says: 108

@Richard Wheeler: No comparison. I don’t watch CNN so don’t know who Erin is. I don’t care for Shep’s news presentation, tho I think it is usually the straight view. I quit watching CNN years ago and with the ratings and constant reporting that they only present the libs view, there is no reason for me to try them out. I don’t need the attempts at indoctrination. Since you obviously don’t watch Fox, how can you make a comparison?

    and you said:

are you serious? Have you seen the numbers about how many watch News shows. They are not watching CNN for a reason, it’s because they want the ‘real’ story.
I’m not afraid of being indoctrinated, I just don’t care about listening to the ‘bullsh*t’ stories promoting your guy.

@Redteam: I believe only the uneducated confine themselves to one source of news. I’m sure the large majority of people interested in politics and the truth watch Fox, CNN and other news outlets. They also read a variety of publications. It’s common sense.

Then that demonstrates just how easily you are misled by your beliefs. I’m certainly not ‘uneducated’. For the record, I get most of my news off the internet. I don’t actually watch the ‘news’ on any tv show. When I watch Fox News channel, which is not all that often, it’s to watch O’Reilly, Hannity, and Greta. I trust O’Reilly the least of those 3.

I’m not surprised. O’Reilly supports the libs more than Hannity does. Greta doesn’t buy the libs lies either. O’Reilly supports O in her racism claim. Maybe all the “O”s think alike.

    @Richard Wheeler:

Megan Kelly, definitely. I give her high marks for her integrity. I’ve already given you my opinion on Sheppard. Over all I would say that FOX’s News reporting is more “honest” and truthful than CNN’s. Wolf, like Sheppard, colors his news with his reporting. Wolf much more shows his political bias when he questions the occasional guest. CNN most recently showed us it’s far left bias and outright dishonesty in how they reported the Zimmerman-Martin murder trial and investigation. Over all, I would consider most of CNN’s programming to be a waste of my time, were I looking for truth and honesty. CNN Headline News is more useful than regular CNN which is why I’ll watch that on a regular basis.

To compare news reporting, it is necessary to examine: What is reported. How it is reported. What details are covered, not covered, are partially covered or clearly spun, as well as what news is totally ignored. I certainly don’t think any of the news agencies (in general,) tell us the whole story, nor can they in the limited time they have. There was the old slogan “all the news that’s fit to print” which is the way most news is reported. Well when you have news agencies editorially deciding what is “fit” to report and what isn’t worth inclusion, you can only end up with part of the truth, which is why I get my news from a world wide variety of sources, and I then piece together the truth as best I can. For the most part honest, unvarnished, “just the facts” news journalism is dead.

@Richard Wheeler: What, I can’t have a team in each league? If they played each other in WS I would be for Red Sox. So I guess I do have a favorite. I don’t know of ‘anyone’ currently in politics that I am confident would make a good President. They are rare and hard to come by. We have only had 1 in my lifetime, beginning in FDR time and that was Reagan. Don’t think I’ll ever see another true leader such as he was. All politicians today seem to be in it for the money and power trips. Obama’s several multi million dollar vacations each year, etc. Never seen anything like that before. A great leader could turn the country around, we just have to find that person.

@Ditto: I agree with all you said, Ditto. Is that why your name is Ditto? While Fox is clearly the leader in tv news, there are still stories they won’t touch. Not sure what the reason is but an example is presidential eligibility, for any candidate. They just will not touch that. Maybe they see it as political poison for a network that is owned by a foreigner. I don’t know the reason, but I’m sure if they won’t ‘touch’ that story, there are other ‘stories’ that they won’t touch either. I do prefer a network ‘not touching’ a story than to deliberately lie and give erroneous reports. There are a couple networks that specialize in that.

I think there are some good MEN who seek to become THE PRESIDENT,
they are on this side, we just barely begin to see their ability,
and we like what is evident now,
and I think if they take the power they will get even better once they are there,
the last election was terribly misconduct, the CANDIDATES WHERE VICIOUSLY VETTED
AND THE PUBLIC DID REACT BADLY, IT HAPPEN ON ALL SIDES,
first among themselves, then by the DEMOCRAT, WHILE OBAMA WAS GOING FREE WITHOUT A BIRTH CERTIFICATE AND TOTAL IMMUNITY ON HIS PAST, AND A CNN IN TRANCE
BLOWING HIS NON KNOWN ABILITY TO A POINT OF ABSURDITY, COMMUNICATING TO THE CROUD LIKE A MESSIAH HAS COME TO DELIVER THEM, AND THE SHOW BEGUN
TO BRING A CROWD IN ECSTASY,A REAL CABAL IN THE PEOPLE ‘S BEHAVIOR, like black magic incantation,

    He wasn’t wearing the mask.

Technicality. The dummy wore the mask which a bull promptly mauled.

He tore into it, sending the rubber mask flying halfway across the sand as he turned toward the fence, sending cowboys scrambling up the fence rails, hooking one with his horn and tossing him off the fence.

Liberal cheers were heard manifest. A listserve somewhere erupted in re all’s full of hallelujahs.

But what is not very racist yet so coterie were the buy Kill Bush tee-shirts. Hang Bush, hang Palin all got a media/apparat pass.

All good. I get it, all animals are created equal… but not so much when the institutionalization of maintaining power is concerned… When maintaining the narrative is the prime directive.

It’s a faith, a religion, and we the simple public are too stupid to have not figured it out. One more lie on behalf of the masses. We need the stewardship by self proclaimed great captains and their promise that human made utopia is possible. Just one more regulation, one more tax is all that’s needed – have faith my son. One more board, one more bureaucrat, and we can fix it all. Amen.

Muslim Brotherhood, these aren’t the terrorists we are looking for. Morsi – he wasn’t jail broke by islamists before running for pres. Never, not possible. Hamas isn’t a MB offshoot in Gaza. MB isn’t the grand-father of Al-Qaeda. All senior members of AQ were never former MB members.

    This isn’t fantasy.

Throw a protestor off a roof, burn a church, murder a Copt, or kill a Jew – Obama’s peace partners.

Their thoughts are dangerous. Who gave North Korea light water reactors?

Iran is up next. Feel safer?

Not one liberal will ever admit the engine to Hong Kong’s economy, nor will they admit why we have record unemployment.

Have faith – talk those bullet points and your received email shout outs, then double down on platform repetition – to justify your erudite inclusion. Never blasphemy. Always remember, fraternity to the party rewards – ala Jesse Jackson Jr & Filner.

Needed: More rodeo clowns. Cow bell. And sheep.

Not to mention those silly voting machines that for some strange reason never recorded one vote for someone other than Barrack Hussain Obama. Yeah smoked, by fraud.
