Holder’s Ego Provides Insight Into Presidential Weakness

Holder : Obama

The onslaught of evidence pouring out of this White House of individual rights knowingly being ignored and invasions of all things personal being justified for ideological purposes, seems to have the passive approval of the MSM.  We may be legitimately confused as to which scandal is the most egregious, however, we are not confused as to the revelations these scandals reveal.  Much is rotten in this Administration, but who is in charge?

This Administration is being allowed unparalleled room for distorting truth, and twisting reality as it is being written.  Apples are oranges, and oranges are moonbeams, and moonbeams are . . . who knows, oh wait, maybe they’re those things that magically light up the sanctified teleprompter revealing enchanting divine tenants from the Oval Office,  doesn’t matter, reality is whatever this White House decides to feed us in bite-sized talking-points.  Verisimilitude is now the product of creativity from a cubicle somewhere below the Oval Office, and truth has become a relative term.

From the bowels of this quagmire and confusion, struts the Attorney General of The United States into an interview with progressive propaganda network NBC, making what has to be one of the more obnoxious public statements ever made by an AG, “There’s some things that I want to do, some things I want to get done. I’ve discussed that with the president. And once I have finished that, I’ll sit down with him and we’ll determine when it’s time to make a transition to a new attorney general.  No, I have no intention of doing so now.

TRANSLATION:  “When I’m good and ready and when I feel like it, I’ll sit down with the President and I’ll inform him of what I’m doing.  Until then I’ll do whatever I want to do, I will tell you whatever I’m in the mood to tell you.  If you don’t like it, eat it. There is nothing you can do about it.”

Whether or not Holder is demonstrating an overabundance of arrogance, it is clear that he is not taking orders from the President – maybe from no one, or he might meet with Jarrett if he’s so inclined, but the President? It seems not.  Do his words demonstrate a respect for the individual which the Constitution tells him is his boss?  Quite the opposite – he thinks his boss is weak, otherwise he would not have been so discourteous and insolent.  Why did NBC not pick-up on this egoistic statement?

Why is the MSM not wondering who is really in charge? Is it afraid to ask? Holder made it clear, his boss isn’t.

“I will leave this office at some point – sometime in the next three and a half years,” Obama

– in the 1st 13 seconds here:

Is this a hint Obama is thinking he won’t make it through all 3&1/2 years…..or just another badly phrased statement by a man who was touted as a great speaker because he so beautifully read a speech someone else wrote once.
Usually people who are great at that become actors, not politicians.

With Holder it looks like his trying to look like he’s in control made Obama look worse.
This is a classic because, usually, Obama could only make himself look good by making someone (Bush, the ”rich,” white people, basketball players, etc.,) look bad in comparison.

Yes JR, you have revealed yet another incident that leaves the president looking like an impotent figurehead. However, to accept the premise of Obama as a symbolic leader, we must first accept the idea of Holder being incredibly stupid, for making such clueless statements on national television.

To assume the country would never find out the truth about incidents like Benghazi, Fast and Furious, the IRS, Prism, and the other growing list of scandals, requires tremendous faith in a compliant press and an incredible arrogance to believe the collective stupidity of the public will be enough to absolve a corrupt administration of all guilt for an indefinite period of time.

Holder knows he is protected from impeachment, at least until the 2014 midterm. However, our real leaders, the ones who give Obama his instructions, may decide Holder’s liabilities, dishonesty, ineptness, corruption, and stupidity are becoming too difficult to sweep under the carpet, and tell him it is time to turn tits up for the movement. It is a way for Obama to deflect personal responsibility, and his personal entreaties to correct all corruption will seem believable after purging his administration of incompetents.

Until he is cut loose or impeached, we can expect to watch Holder acting like the AG of the Keystone Cops, as he continues to deny the need for special prosecutors and a willingness to investigate himself with a dogged determination. During his investigations of himself, there will be many opportunities to learn interesting facts about himself, since he has an uncanny ability to forget every aspect of previous involvement in every questionable endeavor that could be considered illegal.

Last month it was “why didn’t he prevent the Boston Bombing” this week its “he’s doing to much to try and stop terrorism”
This program ahs been going on since at least 2006. It has been funded by Congress with at least some members knowing as much as they wished. (Gang of Four)
In the past under Bush we have seen the opposition leaders in the Gang of Four NOT wanting to know what was going on.

@john: Talk about trying to shift the goalposts, john.

My earlier comment to that subject:

Now, on your goalpost shift, what the data mining is doing is NOT looking for terrorists any more than the IRS using the terms, ”tea party, constitution,” or other conservative words as their basis for dragging their feet on approving tax-exempt status for applicants.
The data mining includes all phone numbers everyone calls.
So, LATER, if you decide to run against an Obama-approved opponent, your old data can be gone through with a fine tooth comb.
What is you call those $3/minute fortune tellers?
Or you call those late-night singles who ”just want to talk?”
What if you click on same-sex or other dirty sites, or take the “Safe Search” filter off allowing explicit images on your image searches?
Recall Obama used to his advantage the leaking of the SEALED divorce papers of his state senate opponent to win his first time.
How many times have you and others asked (during the 2012 campaign) what happened to the TEA Party organizations? Did they disappear?
Well, no, john, they did not disappear.
But a concerted effort by Obama supporters in the IRS from top to bottom kept them from being as effective as they could have been, thereby throwing the election.

IF data mining were ”looking for terrorists,” as you seem to believe, the innocent would be getting dropped out of the mining constantly.
Then we would be left with just suspicious people being targeted.
But that is NOT the case, john.
The mining of data is a deep and wide net.
It is an abuse of whatever court order Obama/Holder managed to get.
(Just like the court order based on a lie about James Rosen was an abuse.)

@john: Nobody’s saying that. You’re deluded and want your own version of the truth, one in which Obama is a good president and Bush is a bad one. You pull identity from an ideological conflict fomented by the dems to get votes. You don’t know how to engage in discussion, dialogue, or dialectic on any respectable level, so you’re thowing out nonsense with the intent to confuse and distort . . . kinda like the media and Obama’s administration.

You’re desperately holding on the the idea that Obama and crew aren’t a corrupt and inept bunch of radicals that rode on a wave of media-induced hatred right into the White House (funded by foreign interests), now freely transforming the country into something different than what “we the people” truly want.

Yes, all of his actions, and his staff, will be under a microscope for the rest of history. Deal with it.

@James Raider: I’m holding onto the hope that, for those who voted for Obama to actually understand what they are supporting, a rapid righting of the ship may happen.

But as you said, it’s probable we are getting exactly what plenty of the “people” want.

@James Raider:

I doubt that America has ever witnessed anything quite like this in its White House.

Fiction could not fabricate such a bizarre decade-long sequence of events manufacturing such an instrument to sit in that leather chair behind the most important desk in the Nation.
….
We are now just realizing the reality that our collective consciousness has been cooked, even as many of us screamed of the incursion very audibly.

We have been collectively deluded. The superstructure built on our delusions cannot be undone.

Curiouser and curiouser. Perhaps, (I will hypothesize,) Obama already has an exit plan worked out? If Obama, (having done all he could to “fundamentally transform America”,) waits until the end of his presidency and simply retires, he is (as he insinuated earlier today,) will be vulnerable. Let’s consider what he could mean.

If he exits office the normal way, the next president, be they Democrat or Republican, can order all the documents Obama ordered sealed to be unsealed and released in their full un-redacted forms. If there is anything “shocking” in these records and documents that could prove that he held the office fraudulently, or if evidence comes out that Obama committed crimes while in office, then Obama is indeed vulnerable.

There is only one way that such a fate could be avoided, and that is if President Obama resigns while in office with the agreement that, as his first act of office his vice president, (once installed in the office,) will as president grant Obama a full pardon “for any crimes or wrongdoings he might have committed.” By doing this, everything Obama signed into law remains valid even if it should “possibly be proved later that he was not eligible to be president. (Not taking a side in that argument, just including it in this theoretical exercise.)

Now, let us not forget that Biden already seems very cock-sure that he will be the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee. For this to be a near “sure thing” for Biden, Obama would have to resign prior to the Democratic Primary.

If this entire hypothetical situation should take place, let us also add that: Before leaving office President Obama could sign a plethora of pardons for each and every high level “Team Obama” member that he wishes to protect from future prosecution. Come to think of it, Obama could grant a pardon to Biden for any crimes (etc..) while in his office of VP just before stepping down and handing over the office.

Hillary would likely be left out in the cold.
