Splainin to do

CBS
reported that the Obama visited some of those injured in the Boston bombing attack.

President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama visited victims of the Boston Marathon bombings at several hospitals Thursday afternoon.

After attending an interfaith service at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross, the president rode to Massachusetts General Hospital where he met privately with patients, their families and hospital staff.

The First Lady went to Boston Children’s Hospital, where she visited the medical and surgical intensive care unit.

Afterwards, she went next door to Brigham and Women’s Hospital to meet more victims and their families for more than an hour.

The visits were off limits to the media and came on short notice for security reasons.

It is also reported that Michelle Obama visited a Saudi national who was for a time a “person of interest” in the Boston bombing.

A Saudi Arabian newspaper is reporting that United States First Lady Michelle Obama visited in the hospital Saudi citizen Abdul Rahman Ali Issa Al-Salimi Alharbi, the young man who had been labeled a “person of interest” in the Boston Marathon bombing.

The newspaper accompanied its report with an image of Obama, although the background was generic and it couldn’t be confirmed immediately that she was at the hospital where Alharbi was being treated at the time. He reportedly suffered injuries in the Boston bombing.

The newspaper’s Arabic-language report is being highlighted by Walid Shoebat, a former Muslim Brotherhood member who now is a peace activist.

“Okaz, the same prominent Saudi newspaper that published photos of Abdul Rahman Ali Issa Al-Salimi Alharbi in the hospital after the Boston Marathon bombings, is now reporting that the Saudi national was also visited by the first lady of the United States, Michelle Obama, during his hospital stay,” Shoebat reported.

Visiting foreign visitors seems appropriate on the surface, but then there is this twist:

“In light of recent reports that Alharbi was scheduled for deportation on ‘national security grounds’, the first lady’s visit takes on much added significance if those reports are true. We already know that the Alharbi clan consists of multiple al-Qaida members. This would seem to bolster the claims of scheduled deportation, not claims to the contrary made by the likes of DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano, who actually never really answered the question; she just got rankled and blew it off.”

It needs to be verified but if true why is Michelle Obama visiting a person designated for deportation on national security grounds?

What most agree upon is that the Obama’s did not likely visit Jeff Bauman.

Someone needs to clarify this situation if for no other reason than to dispel the rumors.

So, now you’re believing the Saudis, lol! Ah, this story is not true but I don’t blame you for blogging about it. It’s what wingnuts do when they’re looking under every rock for another reason to hate Obama and his wife. But to perpetuate this knowing it is a lie or just simply believing it and repeating it without corroboration says more about you.

Whether or not Michelle visited the Saudi, Pres Obama seems driven by a desire to befriend Muslims and demonize those who recognize that, while not all Muslims are terrorists, most terrorists are Muslims.
Our official policy is nearly unrecognizable nowadays.
Obama has given support, military and financial, to the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, al Qaeda in Libya, and militias of both those two groups in Syria.
Obama has put Muslim Brotherhood members into high positions in his White House:
*Arif Alikhan – Assistant Secretary for Policy Development for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
*Mohammed Elibiary – Homeland Security Adviser.
*Eboo Patel – Advisory Council on Faith-Based Neighborhood Partnerships.
*Imam Mohamed Magid – Obama’s Sharia Czar, Islamic Society of North America.
*Rashad Hussain – Special Envoy to the (OIC) Organization of the Islamic Conference.
*Salam al-Marayati – Obama Adviser, founder of Muslim Public Affairs Council and its current executive director.

As so many here keep expressing; we have other Muslims in America who have nothing to do with the Muslim Brotherhood.
Why does Obama keep surrounding himself with one sect/political version of Islam?
Why did Obama choose to throw other Muslims under the bus, like Mubarak, like Gaddahfi and others?
Why did Obama force the removal of references to Islam from counter-terrorism training manuals?

Did you know that, under Obama’s policy, the two scriptures on military gun scopes must be dremmeled off before they can be used?

@This one: Of what benefit would it be for the Saudi Newspaper to falsify this?

However, I can’t argue that the veracity of information is suspect. We need some eyewitnesses from the hospital.

Of course, so is Glenn Beck, but that doesn’t stop reactionaries here from adoring him.

    @The Glenn Beck Review:

Let’s see- the links are to CBS, WND and Snopes.

Don’t see any Glenn Beck, but that didn’t stop you from fabricating an issue to use as a bludgeon. BTW, all Shoebat did was translate and not even Snopes disputes the translation.

    Who even mentioned Glenn Beck?

    @CapitalG:

So if Snopes saying it did not happen means Snopes is a known liar and a fraud. I personally pay zero attention to the fake fact checker sights anyways.
