Obama Says Jobs Are His Top Priority…..Again

Loading

So Obama says in his weekly address that jobs are once again his top priority.

How come this feels like a broken record? Oh right…because it is one. Here is a good example from the Huffington Post of all places:

But as Caroline Glick writes, the real effects of Obama’s policies haven’t hit yet. But they are coming, and quite quickly:

The American spirit has been overwhelmed by the European model of social democracy at home and appeasement and treachery abroad.

But all the dependency champions who celebrated on Tuesday night cannot stop the coming storm. The greatest advantage Obama had going into the election was not demography but the fact that the full consequences of his statist economic policies and his pro-jihadist foreign policy have not yet been felt.

Nationalized healthcare will only be fully implemented in 2014. Americans will only begin watching old men and women die because the federal government denied them lifesaving, but expensive treatments a year from now. They will only lose their doctors due to dwindling Medicare reimbursements in a year.

College students who got out the vote for Obama will only find themselves doomed to low-paying jobs and a life of indebtedness as they fail year in and year out to pay off their college loans, in a year or two. And by the time they realize what it means to be saddled with a national debt of $16 trillion, they will be locked into a government-controlled economy that requires them to keep their silence or lose their livelihoods.

Then there are the consequences of Obama’s foreign policies. The attack on the US Consulate in Benghazi exposed the failure of his strategy of appeasing jihadists and had the potential to sink his presidency by turning suburban voters against him in places like Pennsylvania. But lucky for him, the Benghazi debacle was small enough for the media to hide from the electorate.

Sure a US ambassador and three others were murdered. But four is not a very large number. And it was over in a day.

It will be harder for Obama to contain the damage of his foreign policy when Iran gets nuclear weapons and begins molesting US shipping in the Persian Gulf as gas prices rise to $10 a gallon. It will be harder for Obama to hide the effect of his foreign policy when American tourists in Egypt are massacred or held hostage and Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood government demands the release of the Blind Sheikh, Omar Abdel Rahman, the mastermind of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing in exchange for intervention.

It will be harder for Obama to hide the dangers of his foreign policy when the Taliban return to power in Afghanistan and Al Qaida rebuilds its training camps. It will be harder for Obama to blame his failure on hapless American filmmakers when Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal is controlled by a Taliban-aligned government that seeks a nuclear war with India. It will be harder for Obama to protect America with a gutted, demoralized military, demobilized under his command.

Rather than contend with these calamities, Obama and his statist, pro-Islamist supporters and advisors will blame their critics. Just as they blamed — and jailed — an American filmmaker for Ambassador Stevens’ murder, so they will blame overworked doctors, struggling hospital administrators, “partisan” lawmakers and “Islamophobic, neoconservative warmongers,” for the domestic decline and international mayhem Obama’s policies will necessarily cause.

It’s going to get worse before it gets better…that’s for certain.

And now the media is pushing the narrative, once again, that conservatives need to soften their views and policies.

Bullshit

Jobs is his focus?? What in the hell has he been doing for the last four years?? Pathetic!!

If, Obama leaves office in 2017, he’ll stand at the door of the Helicopter, with Michelle and the kids and give us a big finger. Personally I’d have perfered that day to come much sooner but the RNC had other ideas. Barry’s only focus on jobs is to destroy them, to make it virtually impossible to ever recover.

People thought Obama ”cared” more about them than Romney does.
So, what did Obama do to show how much he cares?
He hit the links!
(Got Stoned)
Just three days after being re-elected he’s back to golf.
Screw the Sandy victims.
The man went a bit more time in between getting stoned than he’s used to.
Oh! The withdrawals!
Imagine if GWBush had done that at any time after Katrina!

He’s right.. His own. The rest of you….not so much..

You can fool democrats all the time

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me all the time, I am a democrat [Reader Post]

Obama must create a new economic model in which jobs are created which will not be shipped overseas because of cheaper labor rates. This old economy was the one the Romney represented—creating jobs here, and then shipping jobs overseas; or creating the jobs themselves overseas. Creating an economy where this scenario does not happen is a challenging approach.

For a fruitful discussion, why don’t you offer some real specific solutions, instead of just criticizing, for a change.

@Liberal1 (Objectivity):

Creating an economy where this scenario does not happen is a challenging approach.

It’s your wish. How do you propose that happen? Revisit Smoot Hawley? How are you going to get people to stop shopping at Walmart? How are you going to force people to spend ten times the money on American made goods?

Regulation?

The only thing Obama can do to stem the job losses from ObamaCare is to outlaw part-time work.
Darden, Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Hardees, Carls Jr, Papa Johns Pizza and a load of other BIG employers are going to let employees work 28 hours/week or less.
This comes to hundreds of thousands of people.

@Nan G: I’m going to bet that will be tried, the end result will be workers will be cut.

@Liberal1 (Objectivity): Obama can’t ‘create’ anything, he’s got ZERO experience in anything productive, much less creating a economic system that works. We had one, wasn’t perfect but close enough for human nature then the politicians got in the way. Please understand that I do feel that there needs to be regulations, and most importantly they need to be enforced on the perpetrators in a very forceful manner.

I think a better title for that photo is “killing prosperity where ever I find it”

Obama must create a new economic model

Ha hahahah whooo hooo and libtards think this guy is smart enough in between golf games to create this “new system” god I resent your stupidity so much.
obama is a destroyer. obama is not a creator. he has never ever ever ever created anything except jealousy coruption cronyism and economic dispair and class warfare.
applebees said people are gonna have to go or be reduced to part time, as have hundreds of employers since the election. elections have consequences and we will be seeing the double dip recession come over the horizon by spring.

rumcrook
hi,
yes that is so sad , four years of him wasting this great NATION,
YES he has lots of time to hurt with his decisions to right an executive order
well TEXAS AND ALABAMA AND LOUISIANA WILL KEEP HIM BUSY,
THEY ask to get out of OBAMIST in a peaceful manner,
the latest news
bye

So Obama says in his weekly address that jobs are once again his top priority.

Has anybody ever figured who’s jobs he’s concerned about?

@rumcrook: #12: And when their hours are reduced to 28 and their basic or catastrophic health insurance is axed (same as all higher education), then they will need a second ‘wait tables’ job to pay their bills and then a 3rd ‘wait tables’ job just to pay their obamination care penalty fine (Oops! Tax). NY Senator Dimwit Scummer already said the 30 hour full-time work definition implemented to reduce the unemployment % was an error. Stand by for the full-time work definition to move down to 28 or 25 hours and then business will further reduce hours in order to survive. By 2016 the average table wait server will need 5 different 10 hour/weekly jobs in order to put a roof over their heads or pay their parents some rent to offset their return to the “nest”.

For once I agree with Washington State’s libtard senator murray to bring on the fiscal cliff. All should push their Republican Senators to just vote present on all obamination measures and the Representatives must just continue sending responsible budget bills to Himmler Reid to rathole. No more continuing resolutions, no more debt increases without approval of a budget. Sequestration, here we come. The ending of the Bush Tax cuts is in and of itself initially a revenue generator until the recession then tags the economy with another knockout punch.

what is left to do,
just be good and let it happen?

Welfare, not JOBS, is now the largest category of federal spending.
Obama, who never got even one Democrat vote for his budgets, proposes to make it even larger!
By 30%.
It is now $1,076,000,000,000.
Yup, over one TRILLION.
But Obama wants MORE.
By 2016 he wants it to be budgeted at
$1,374,000,000,000.

Remember, had we simply cut a check to EVERY ”poor” household in the USA last year, they each (all 17 million of them) would have gotten over $60,000.
But helping POOR people has little to do with Obaa’s plan.
He only wants to help unionized Gov’t employees.
(They who dole out the dole.)

Nice graphic here:

@Nan G: #17

For the amount of money the government subsedises Amtrack, they could buy each rider a first class airline ticket.

Obama uses simple math: If the total number of federal employees plus the total number of federal welfare recipients equals more than half of the voters, it adds up to victory at EVERY election. I’m going to guess that most of the liberals who comment on FA are in one of those catagories. That is why they don’t mind taking SOMEONE ELSE’S money and having it given to them. If it were THEIR money the Spender-And-Chief was taking, they would be complaining.
