A Word To The Intellectually Challenged And Biased

Loading

This is a message to Candy Crowley and all the intellectual lightweights of Obama’s state-directed propaganda bureaus: we are no longer unarmed and sitting back to be spoon fed your drivel. We will use perspicuity to check every micro piece of biased misinformation you try to palm off on America, and while you are moderating with the traditional smug and self-assured attitude and your expressions of self-designated superiority; remember, you are losing credibility and market share and we gaining credibility and market share daily.

By we, I mean the army of amateur journalists on the web. We are improving and our influence is growing. We are primarily responsible for exposing the hypocrisy of Obama’s State Directed Media, and on Tuesday evening, our hands will be poised over thousands of keyboards, ready to make you and your hypocrisy look like a bumbling gong show.

The world is on to how you prop up the empty shirt of Obama, it has become embarrassingly obvious and laughable to even the semi-literate citizenry. Oh, your sycophants and the Useful Idiots of Media will praise you, but that is their job. It is us, the ones who write, we are the ones you need to worry about.

Candy Crowley has been designated to monitor the presidential debate on Tuesday night. She surely figures she can cut off Governor Romney like the “Radish” did to congressman Ryan. Why not, in the past no one would challenge the Left Wing propaganda machine, but now we have an army of writers who do it for the love of freedom. After an examination of the moderator’s behavior and employing intense perspicuity to examine every word she utters, we will be ready to eviscerate her before the clock strikes twelve that night.

Am I be a little premature in my condemnation? Check out what Crowley said after Romney chose Ryan for his running mate.

We’ve already had this debate. All they have to do at Obama Reelect is open up the files because this debate has already happened. They just bring it back, it goes, it is, you know, what they talk about. But I think the other thing that’s worth pointing out is not every Republican has signed on to this kind of, I mean, they will publicly. But there is some trepidation… it looks like some kind of death wish.

Oh sure, she is ready to moderate a fair debate.

Three weeks ago, while interviewing Dick Durbin and Lindsay Graham, hit Durbin with this tough gut wrenching question:

Because we are seeing polling indicating that in the battleground states, as well as nationwide, the president now seems ahead by an amount that is perceptible. As far as you are concerned, where are the biggest danger points for the president message wise or campaign wise as he moves forward?

Then in the interest of fairness, posed this series of questions to Graham:

And Senator Graham, to you, why do you think Mitt Romney is struggling so much? We’ve — we’ve talked so much about the history of the numbers as relates to unemployment or anything else and how it would seem that President Obama would not be doing well, and yet Mitt Romney is the one who is struggling. Why?

Graham the survivor answered,

“Well, to be honest with you, I think if history holds here and undecided voters break against the incumbent, as they generally do, that this is a very close race. Quite frankly I like our positioning

Crowley cut him off with typical Liberal rudeness,

“Really?”

In her eulogy to Kennedy she used the Obama tactic of referencing Mary Jo Kopechne as if she was an inconvenient bump in the road:

It’s an imperfect story of an often reckless young man who lived hard and as a U.S. senator drove a car off a bridge after a party, killing a young campaign aide.

It’s okay, Kennedy was a reckless young man, who just left a young pregnant woman to suffocate in a partially submerged car, while he split to get sober.

In the Senate was redemption. In the Senate, the dream came alive.

Mary Jo died, but the dream of a Kennedy in the Senate stayed alive for decades. We would have been charged with manslaughter, but he was a Kennedy on his home turf. Mary Jo’s dream had nothing to do with dying in a drunk’s car.

Eventually, someone will fill the Senate seat of Edward Moore Kennedy, but there’s pretty much universal agreement that nobody — family or friend — can take his place.

Yes, it is hard to elect an un-convicted murderer to the Senate, but easier in Massachusetts.

Do we really wonder whether she will be a partisan for Obama:

“Usually you kind of give the President a pass on leaking confidential stuff.”

Do your best Crowley, we have our keyboards oiled and sighted in, we are the minutemen of the early days. The moderator is wearing no drawers and we are watching and listening. You can protect President Clueless to the best of your abilities, but as the quotes up above attest, your abilities are minimal at best.

Remember, we are your enemy and you are defenseless to our unremitting counter attacks.

I wonder if the ultra-conservatives are going to continue with the SOS when Obama is re-elected, or if they are going to receive new marching orders?

@Liberal1 (Subjectivity):
IOW, you have no argument. You never do.

Are you simply assuming that conservatives are as brain-dead as “liberals” (who have no interest in liberty) and “progressives” (who are uninterested in progress), who follow a +100-year-old program that seeks to return us to the default state of civilization, i.e. strong state control over just about everything, and call it the moving “Forward!”?

If physicists were liberals, we’d never have gotten past Newton. It’s the same type of thought, translated to politics: “If we just have enough information, we can predict (and control) everything!” Quantum mechanics killed that idea, but the political equivalent has never penetrated the rock-hard little brains of liberal “intellectuals”.

I’m sure there is a wacho liberal for every “ultra conservative”. Wacho liberals often defined as useful idiots (see obamaphone video) ad no useful value to our country. On the other hand ultra conservatives work for a living and pay taxes.

@Liberal1 (Objectivity): I suspect that the democratic sheeple will all vote for Obama no matter how much he lies and no mater how many people who trusts him dies or found their lives ruined. I see that the Obama policies in Chicago killed 5 young people and wounded 24. That is much higher than the rate of deaths in Iraq when I was there. Good thing Chicago is not a war zone!

@Liberal1 (Objectivity):

I wonder if the ultra-conservatives are going to continue with the SOS when Obama is re-elected, or if they are going to receive new marching orders?

I have to wonder about your assertion that “ultra-conservatives” receive “marching orders”, Lib1.

Is this one of those accusations that liberal/progressives love to make about their opposition that are really about themselves?

Like Skook suggested, Journolist is a noted liberal/progressive idea that spreads a theme from a centralized point out to the liberal/progressive media outlets. Unfortunately for ALL Americans, this also includes much of what is considered the MSM, such as CBS, NBC, ABC, and the like. And the tilt is not just in favor of the left, but HEAVILY tilted that way.

Accusing the opposition of that which one engages in themselves is a favorite tactic of the left. And as much in evidence by your simple comment as anywhere, Lib1.

@johngalt: To add to your post, all of the sheeple believe what is published and brodcast by the MSN when it all says the same thing. Folks like Liberal 1 who can not or will not think for themselves suck the spin like honey water!

Megan Kelly over at Fox News was just talking about Candy C.
Despite all the slant you have quoted Candy as spouting, Megan feels sorry for her!
After all, both sides are being critical of her for a performance that hasn’t happened yet.

Now, recall back some time ago when Obama allowed a surrogate to send up the flagpole a very weird idea about ”the presidency.”
He wished we could have TWO presidents.
One who would do all the executive branch WORK while the other (he) was freed up to give speeches, make appearances, do photo ops, presumably take the vacations, and do the debates.
Well, even if Obama didn’t get his wish, he supposedly should be the man for the debates.
Yet he sucks at debating.
And he has made not much effort to improve this time around.
Methinks he and his side is protesting in advance against Candy so she will go even easier on him than she had planned.
Could she be more in his pocket to begin with?

I was just watching Biden (at the 1 minute mark) claiming that Planned Parenthood BY LAW CANNOT PERFORM ANY ABORTIONS when Planned Parenthood’s own reports say that, over the last 3 years they had performed 985,731 abortions between 2008 and 2010.
How intellectually challenged must Biden’s audience be to cheer his lie?

THE EYES OF TEXAS ARE UPON YOU CANDY CROWLEY, DONT SHOW YOUR YOU KNOW WHAT!!!!!!

There is another group in this country called “Americans” yes the real americans of this country are not going to stand by idley while liberal main street media pushes obama through again…Tomorrow night debate i hope that you Candy act fair and balanced and not coach obama though his answers verses bashing mitt romney…the majority of this country whether you believe this or not want a new president and thats Mitt Romney,,,If there were a national vote Mitt Would win hands down but our system only allows electorial and thats a problem…We are all watching tomorrow night and if you act like we think you will we will send email after email to CNN with our complaints be fair like fox news FAIR FAIR FAIR

The GOP needs to demand more neutral moderators and stop agreeing to leftists. The left demands a moderator that will protect and help their guy while being a 2nd opponent of the Republican. A fair debate they cannot win. They know this.

I hope Obama calls Romney’s bluff on every damn lie he’s been pushing. He could start by asking him to name the 6 studies he and Ryan keep claiming prove the $5 trillion dollar shortfall in their tax plan isn’t real.

Crowley, by the way, is one of the the media’s brightest and most well informed journalists. That’s probably why she scares the crap out of the right. You’re lucky she’s moderating rather than debating.

@Jason: I’m afraid the liberal media installed a string in your back. If I pull it, I’m sure I’ll hear the same worn out talking points the libs have been using to get votes from the ignorant.

For the record, Mitt would have Candy eating from his hand in a debate. Sorry, but Mitt’s a good debater because he’s not trying to be–he’s just talking about the facts. Instead of a real rebuttal, the lib MSM has just taught you to say “he’s lying!” whenever you’re licked.

Mitt’s lying . . . Uh huh. Anything else logical and informed to add, or is it time for the adults to speak?

@Jason: Wanna talk lies Dbag!! OK, is our deficit in half vs 4 years ago, is unemployment below 6%, is Gittmo closed, do we have more affordable health care, is 0-blama’s administration transparent? Geez man don’t be such a tool!!

@Jason: THATS JUST IT, OBVIOUS YOU HAVE NOT BEEN LISTENING, ROMNEY HAS NO LIES THERE FORE THE SO CALLED PRESIDENT CANT CALL HIS BLUFF, BUT YOU KNEW THAT BEFORE YOU POSTED DIDNT YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There aren’t 6 studies that disprove the Tax Policy Center’s calculation that Romney’s tax plan will result in additional deficits of $480 billion per year. Every time Romney or Ryan have said there are, THEY’RE LYING. Romney’s 20% tax cut would add about $5 tillion to the national debt over 10 years.

Try to find the 6 studies. You can’t BECAUSE THEY DON’T EXIST. Both Romney and Ryan know this but they keep pretending they do. THEY’RE BOTH LIARS.

Prove me wrong. Find them. Post the links. YOU WON’T BECAUSE YOU CAN’T.

@Jason: I HAVE DONE MY HOMEWORK!!!!!!!! I DONT VOTE JUST FOR CHARISMA!

The Tax Policy Center study is easy to find. There are many sources that confirm it is accurate.

Name the 6 studies that disprove it. Find links to them. This should be very easy. Romney and Ryan have mentioned them again and again.

Obama should tell Romney to put up or shut up.

Jason, its just like a liberal lackey to ask for proof when you run out of other arguments- Mitt will clean the floor with the O- and even with Crowley’s fat ass blocking the screen, it will be evident in the two minute sound bites- the O can’t give a TWO minute sound bite without a Teleprompter- he is just not that mentally agile, and the facts are NOT on his side, are they?

@Jason:

6 studies? Not sure if there are 6 studies upholding the claims of Romney/Ryan. However, all you really need is one to make the case that the TPC report is bogus/skewed/wrong in order to discount the Obama campaign’s claim of “$5 Trillion”.

Heritage has posted such a “study”. And it is more a study of both the Romney/Ryan “plan” AND the TPC report, than just one or the other. It is a relatively easy read, as well.

From the article;

The Tax Policy Center is the industry standard for producing high-quality tax data that are integral to tax policy debates. However, in this TPC report, the authors’ choices and assumptions lead them to a carefully chosen result that is misleading and biased. This hinders the debate on tax reform because lawmakers and the public need accurate information to make good decisions.

The author of the Heritage article suggests that the assumptions made by William Gale in the TPC report are used to purposely lead the reader of the report to a single, misleading conclusion.

The article can be found here;
http://www.heritage.org/research/reports/2012/09/tax-policy-centers-skewed-analysis-of-governor-romneys-tax-plan

Here is just one of the studies that Romney/Ryan cite;
https://www.princeton.edu/ceps/workingpapers/228rosen.pdf

From the study’s concluding thoughts;

But the recent debate has been more occupied with the arcana of tax preferences and how they are allocated across income classes than with the impact of economic growth. To be sure, the extent to which a program of tax reform (and regulatory reform) would actually increase growth is controversial. But that doesn’t mean it should be ignored; rather, it should be debated. Economic growth should take center stage in the ongoing national conversation over tax policy.

The author of that piece also suggests that the assumptions made by the TPC report are misleading.

One of the biggest criticisms of the TPC “analysis” is that the report takes into account the taxation under Obamacare, which Romney has suggested be repealed, but doesn’t take into account the spending under Obamacare, in order to show the impact of the Romney/Ryan plan overall. The TPC report, while assuming Obamacare is repealed, ONLY takes into account the “lost” revenue while not even considering the absence of the spending under it. This alone is a $29 Billion dollar change the TPC report misses.

I would agree, technically, with the liberal/progressive’s insistence that there are NOT six “studies” that disprove the TPC report. However, when you consider the multitude of articles, written by economists at sites such as WSJ, and economic bloggers who have posted pieces suggesting the TPC report is in error, there are plenty of places to learn why, and how, the TPC report, and conclusion, should not be used as the “be all, end all” on the Romney/Ryan “plan”.

Another thought on the Romney/Ryan “plan”, and the liberal/progressives who are so insistent in their claims about it.

Do you like having a tax code over 17,000 pages long and well over 6 million words?

In Wealth of Nations, Adam Smith wrote that complex tax codes are “more burdensome to the people than beneficial to the sovereign”. I contend that he has that wrong, at least partially. Adam Smith didn’t assume that the sovereign would act aggressively towards the people by the use of a complex tax code. In that sense, a complex tax code is most beneficial to the sovereign, at the expense of ALL people living with the sovereign state. And yes, that includes those who are poor, destitute, and living off the handouts of the “benevolent” sovereign.

One goal of any tax reform should be the simplification of the tax code. From what I’ve seen, the Romney/Ryan “plan” does that. Maybe not nearly as much as I’d prefer, but it does simplify it. That leads to a less complex tax code that government can use to control the people living within the country. And that, I’m all for. As should anyone, conservative, liberal, or those in the middle.

It is inexcusable that election after election, the Republicans allow the likes of partisan hacks like Candy Crowly, Martha Raddatz, Jim Lehrer and Bob Schieffer to be the moderators. Even if on substance and demeanour the Republicans may have won all the debates, especially when you consider that neither Romney nor Ryan have had to go into damage control the day after, the idea that Republican candidates must have to contend with their opponent as well as the moderator is inexcusable.

I don’t know who said “There are two parties in Washington — the stupid party and the evil party. Every once in a while they get together and do something that is both stupid and evil.” Sadly this statement is true, and I bet I don’t I need to clarify which is which, but my question is, are they really that stupid?

@Liberal1 (Objectivity): They will continue to fight for America and stop the lunatic wacho liberals. That’s what they constituents who voted for them want!!

@Hard Right: I second your need for Fox’s “Fair and Balanced” approach. However, as I think about last night’s media disaster following closely behind “Raddip’s” spectacle with the Obiden/Ryan debate, there is almost a sense of of highest level Romney Camp strategy in accepting the debate formats and challenged ‘so-called’ moderators without noted complaint. I have sensed a growing awareness over the last several months of an ever increasing commitment of the electorate. With commitment, comes real critical thinking and self awareness of individual voters. Yes, a significant portion of the quote “47%” are ‘conceptually morons’ as so aptly described by Rush.

Just think of what would have happened if Fox conducted last night’s debate. One, the outcry within the slimemedia would have been deafening and Candyland Crow would not have thrown down the ‘flag’ and decided the “real answer/(s)”. Now, her pathetic performance is just a gift that keeps on giving all the way to next Monday night. Just think of the extra mileage we have from her attempted walk-back last night and today and the incredible blow back of the libtard media flaming her for her pathetic attempt to help out his “Ineptness”. Without the old crow, some might have perceived the Obamination as possessing minimal manly traits. Now all have seen the depths of his ignorance and the vain attempts of the many Libtard women to prop him up for the 1,438th time since his immaculation.

Finally, look at the adrenalin rush of the conservative media and above, above-all, how the blogosphere has amped up the everyday intensity of real Americans. By golly, I think this may be this election’s reverse psychology “Operation Chaos” against the O-blamer in Chief (OIC), P-POTUS, or TOTUS (the only credible dumbocrap speaker).

Marine72
yes SIR, I ‘m sure that this MONDAY, MITT ROMNEY will be ready,
but he is a GENTLEMAN, HE HAS CLASS NEEDED TO BECOME A PRESIDENT,
he doesn’t need to play the OBAMA THUG GAME, HE WILL DO IT WITH BRAINPOWER,

@ilovebeeswarzone: @ilovebeeswarzone: ilovebeeswarzone YOU ARE CORRECT! Mitt Romney has more class than obama ever will have. He is a smart business man and will handle the crisis in the Middle East as well, we have all seen what obama has done with our American Ambassador and other Americans. OBAMA IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CRISIS IN THE MIDDLE EAST. THE BUCK STOPS WITH HIM, THE ACCUSATION OF ROMENY STARTING THIS IS BEYOND BELIEF. HE ALONE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS AND HE IS THE PERSON USING THIS FOR POLITICAL GAIN. STALLING PROCEDURES IN THE NAME OF RE-ELECTION ! I HAVE ASKED THE QUESTION WHY THE AMBASSADOR WAS LEFT WITH LITTLE OR HARDLY NO PROTECTION, THE ANSWER HAUNTS ME, NOT PROVIDING PROTECTION AFTER NUMEROUS REQUEST OVER THE MONTHS AND STALLING LEADS ME TO BELIEVE THAT IT WAS PURPOSELY DONE. NO OTHER PRESIDENT WOULD LET THIS HAPPEN, AND THEN CALL IT OPTIMAL. FOX NEWS TONIGHT ON THIS MATTER HAS A SPECIAL WITH THE DOCUMENTS PROVIDED ON THE SUBJECT. I WATCHED IT LAST NIGHT AND IT IS ON AGAIN TONIGHT 10/20/2012 AT 8-9 EASTERN TIME. IF YOU WANT TO ACTUALLY GET SOME TRUTH THAT IS WHERE TO FIND IT.

S
THANK YOU ,I will, we know the FAMILIES ARE MOURNING and they would like their sons to get privacy,
but how can it be? the AMBASSADOR AND THE SEALS belong to ALL AMERICA WHICH IS MOURNING ALSO THEIR HERO WHO PUT THEIR LIVES ON THE LINE, to fight and disperse their multiple enemies
BECAUSE THEY WHERE DENIED THE PROTECTION NEEDED, TO FACE AN ANGRY MOB OF TERRORISTS ORGANIZE
TO DELIBERATELY KILL THOSE HERO, THE FAMILIES MUST UNDERSTAND IT,
WHICH THOSE BRAVES BELONG TO AMERICA HISTORY FROM NOW ON ALWAYS,
BYE

I AGREE THAT THE FAMILIES NEED PEACE AND MOURNING, BUT THE THING IS THIS, IF THEY WERE PURPOSELY LEFT WITH NO DEFENSE AT ALL THEN THE PEOPLE WHO WERE RESPONSIBLE NEED TO BE BROUGHT TO JUSTICE. NO MATTER WHO THEY WERE. I AM FEELING SORROW FOR THEM AND THEIR FAMILIES , BUT I AS AN AMERICAN WILL NOT TOLERATE THIS AND DEMAND JUSTICE FOR THEM ALL.

YES YOU DESERVE TO KNOW, and to accuse the guilty,

Liberal columnist; liberal news source –>

As for Obama’s doubling of vehicle mileage by 2025, led by his Environmental Protection Agency and Department of Transportation, it’s already driving more innovation in Detroit, as each car company figures out how it will improve mileage by 5 percent every year. The auto industry’s main newspaper, “Automotive News, used to be a sad collection of stories of failing dealerships and excess inventory,” notes Hal Harvey, the chief executive of Energy Innovation. “Now it is one technology story after another, all aimed at increasing fuel efficiency. Engines, transmissions, electrical systems, advanced materials are all in the midst of new revolutions. Finally the engineers are back at work!”

Carl Pope, the former executive director of the Sierra Club, notes that Mitt Romney rejects Obama’s auto Race to the Top and is vowing to import more oil from the Canadian tar sands through the Keystone XL pipeline. “So Romney wants to throw away our cheapest, cleanest oil — the stuff we make in Detroit through greater mileage efficiency — and replace it with the world’s most expensive and dirty oil from the Canadian tar sands,” says Pope. “That’s a swap only the Koch brothers could dream up.”

Yes, the costs for cars with higher miles per gallon will rise a touch, but the savings will be manyfold that amount. The Environmental Protection Agency projects families will save $1.8 trillion in fuel costs and reduce oil consumption by 2.1 million barrels per day by 2025, which is equivalent to one-half of the oil that we currently import from OPEC countries every day. It will cut six billion metric tons of greenhouse gases over the lifetimes of the vehicles sold through 2025 — more than the total amount of carbon dioxide emitted by the U.S. in 2010.

Larry W/HB

Larry, I am skeptical; of course I am not an engineer, but I am a consumer of vehicles and fuel. I drive 50,000 miles a year, during the Obama Economy, a few years ago it was 75,000+. I drive the Mercedes luxury cars, S Series. I am a big man with several hundred pounds of equipment. I buy the best models from the correct vintage years, late 80’s through early 90’s. They are cheap, less than $4,000, and I usually log a quarter million miles before I sell them or save them for parts. Presently I have a 420 SEL (4.2 liter a small size V8 by American standards) it will cruise at 80 where the speed is permitted and will produce 22 mpg with AC and 24 without AC. When you consider the weight of me and my equipment and luggage, the car is packing 700 pounds. The comfort level is like flying first class and the ride is similar as well.

Now, how many of these tin cans on wheels, that manage 35 mpg, the same as my Harley, will last a quarter of a million miles with 700 pounds, while traveling the mountain roads of Canada in the winter and the deserts of the Southwest in the summer?

The expense of say $40,000 or much more for equivalent ride and comfort will take a long time to justify the extra 10 or 11 mpg, even at the Obama gas prices. More than likely the expenses and car payments will need to be loaded on to the next purchase and the price will never justify switching from my current system.

Ford is making some excellent vehicles and I am watching the stats on them and the durability, but they have a ways to go to surpass the technology of the 91 SEL. ( the 560 is a gas hog forget that one) With the economy the way it is for small businessmen and with transportation representing a major cost of doing business because of the skyrocketing energy prices that Obama promised, it is important to make wise choices to stay in business and pay your bills, forget a profit or salary, for guys like me the objective is not to go broke.

@Larry, from your linked source:

The Environmental Protection Agency projects families will save $1.8 trillion in fuel costs and reduce oil consumption by 2.1 million barrels per day by 2025, which is equivalent to one-half of the oil that we currently import from OPEC countries every day.

Let’s put a realistic view (which usually can’t be equated to the Obama/EPA view) to the numbers shall we?

Per feds EIA stats, of the 18.949 million of crude/petroleum products consumed in the US daily, 8.753 million is used for conventional and reformulated motor gasoline. IOW, refined gas accounts for 46% of all US uses for oil.

The *eventual* savings of 2.1 million barrels per day is the equivalent of 10% to 11% of all the US uses for black gold, Larry.

Of that daily oil use, 52% – or 9.853 million barrels – of our oil is imported from OPEC nations (which includes Venezuela).

Under what fuzzy math by the EPA is 2.1 million barrels “equivalent to one-half” of 9.853? In fact, in what math system is 2.1 million even “one-half” of 8.753 million?

You know the ol’ saying…figures lie, and liars figure.

INRE the “savings of $1.8 trillion in fuel costs”… well that’s more pie in the sky stuff shoveled down the throats of the gullible. That all depends upon the global price per barrel, which isn’t predictable, and the value of the dollar. Assuming, of course, there is any value to the dollar left.

There’s nothing wrong with the oil consumption. There is something wrong when we make our national survival for energy dependent upon a volatile part of the world where most of them hate the US.

I guess Larry forgot to comment that the KeystoneXL pipeline would also get the Bakkin shale oil which is light sweet crude to market. It is now being sent to market by Burlington Northern. I wonder if the owner of Burlington is an Obama supporter? Answer, yes he is and is getting 30% of the wholesale price for transportation! You also are still riding that CO2 horse to death aren’t you!
