President Obama is much better at dealing with disasters than preventing them. He now vows he will personally hunt the al-Qaeda homicidal maniacs and kill them or maybe give them a trial so that they will have American justice, but don’t bother him with meaningless details about security. Security is beneath his pay grade.

It is absolutely the case the President is intensely focused on and committed to bringing to justice those who killed four Americans. He is focused on the investigations continuing so that they can follow the facts all the way to the end so we know what happened and why. He is committed to ensuring that we take the appropriate actions after the Accountability Review Board to ensure that what happened in Benghazi does not happen again. What is also the case is that requests from the hundreds of diplomatic facilities around the country for security personnel or other related matters are made to the State Department. They are not made to the White House. And that’s just a simple statement of fact. It is certainly the case that this President believes that we need to assess what happened in Benghazi and we need to take action — appropriate action to ensure that it does not happen again.
Appearances on The View, celebrity soirees with Beyonce and JayZ, and fund raisers in Vegas while Americans are being butchered is okay, but again, don’t bother him unnecessarily with tedious details about ongoing attacks and requests for security; after all, President Obama is a busy man. It’s true the former SEALs who stepped in to provide cover for the Benghazi Consulate personnel, after the Obama Administration refused to provide security, were butchered by the same people Obama had declared defeated, but he has a rigid social schedule and security isn’t something he wants to be involved with. It’s not his problem that the other embassies decided it was too dangerous to be in Benghazi. The people of Benghazi love Obama, why should he jeopardize his image in Libya by providing his ambassador and diplomatic delegation security. If al-Qaeda saw armed guards it might provoke them into a confrontation. Obama knows the Muslims, he has confidence in his abilities to deal with them. We must learn to trust in his judgment.
Since Biden and Carney aren’t able to convince the American public that BHO is innocent of incompetence, The Obama Team is sending out the storm trooper, but this time she took her meds.

Jennifer Granholm, last seen having a bizarre mental breakdown during the Democratic National Convention has now settled the issue of why the consulate in Benghazi was left without security and four Americans died, including Ambassador Stephens. She explained with her great sense of logic, that sense Benghazi was a “compound” it wasn’t eligible for security and that the requests for security were for the embassy in Tripoli. The administration must be familiar with throwing manure against the barn door, it doesn’t usually stick, but if you throw enough of it, eventually something will stick. Actually, the US embassy in Libya requested an extension of the Security Support Team, the group that provides security escorts. The request was denied by the Obama Administration.
Former Governor Jennifer Granholm:
“What was said at the debate is not inaccurate. There was testimony in Congress asking for more security, but that security that was requested was for Tripoli, which is the embassy, not for Benghazi — which is 400 miles away. The fact that the Romney team doesn’t distinguish between an embassy and a compound, I think, is indicative of their lack of information.”
It is interesting to note just who in the Obama Administration is trusted with the inside information. The truth is, if the administration would have spent a few minutes to provide the requested security, instead of a month of coverup to hide its mistake, Ambassador Stevens and the three other Americans would still be alive.

Granholm is a moron, the kind of person Democrats seem hell-bent on electing. A consulate is simply the smaller extension of the Embassy which is usually located in the capital city. But to call it a “compound” shows that she is just trying to minimize the Key Stone Cop operation this is turning into for Obama.
Nevermind that the FBI didn’t get to Benghazi for weeks. Now the excuse is that the FBI, and CIA, could not get visas. Got that? They couldn’t get visas from the Libyan government. And when they did finally arrive at Benghazi, they spent less than a day there, although there are sensitive documents laying everywhere in all the photos. (any document from our consulates/embassies are considered sensitive) Maybe the Oval Office could call CNN and ask them to pick those document up for it?
How can you conduct a war against terror when you deny the existence of terror and become an apologist for the homicidal maniacs who have killed our ambassador and three other Americans. Yes, denying their willingness and readiness to kill Americans is the same as being an apologist for our enemy. Obama uses an obscure video that no one in the world even noticed and launches an assault on the film and indirectly excuses the atrocities of our enemies.
Can you outline a war strategy if you don’t want to kill the enemy. Sorry folks, killing the enemy until he no longer wants kill your people is how you win wars against enemies who want to kill you.
Obama wants to win a war by be nice to illiterate homicidal maniacs. He wants to give them the impression that they can kill our ambassadors and diplomatic personnel and he wants to say, “What’s wrong, don’t you love us?”

Retire in commentary a few days ago, I sarcastically asked whether the FBI was having visa problems. Oh my God! I was right. What a total embarrassment that continues to portray the weakness and ineffectual Obama.
Obama has never had to really work for anything in his life and it shows. He isn’t even taking his debate prep seriously, voting present in that as well.
Ed Klein has revealed that after the first debate, Bill Clinton called the WH to offer his services for the next debate. No one in the Obama administration could even be bothered to return the call.
To say that Clinton is livid is an understatement. He was quoted as saying that Obama’s arrogance “knows no bounds.” Bill has since gotten high powered legal advice to keep the blame for Benghazi from being dumped on Hillary’s doorstep.
I am not a fan of Clinton’s but to not even acknowledge his offer of help is just another sign that this administration is clueless.

Think about this for a minute: I live in the CST zone. Benghazi is 7 hours ahead of us, 6 hours ahead of Washington, D.C. The State Department has put out that the attack started around 9:40 p.m., Benghazi time. That would have been at 3:40 D.C. time. The State Department has also said that they watched the attack “in near” real time on video. Where the hell was our rapid response teams? Was AFRICOM or SOCOM notified and told to activate rapid response teams and do it NOW? The attack lasted, according to the State Department, six hours. It was reported that when informed of the attack, Obama went to bed.
Now, we can assume Obama didn’t go to bed at 4 in the afternoon. So, the attack is over, the consulate is destroyed, the whereabouts of Chris Stevens, and other American personnel, are unknown, we are aware the area is more than dangerous, and Obama goes to bed and nothing was done? Where the hell are the adults in this administration?
Gary Berntsen, love him or hate him, has earned his keep in foreign service. He told Judge Jeanine that no matter what, you get your people out. You don’t wait for the Libyan government to give you permission to save the lives of your people, and if there is a diplomatic problem, you deal with that later, but you do what you have to to get our people out of the fray, first and foremost. Obama didn’t.
Why did Obama go to bed? Did he know there was going to be an attack? Was there an alternet plan he was counting on instead of Chris Stevens being murdered? Joe Biden said during the debate that if Iran was close to getting nuclear weapons, he, and the president, would know it and they would know it because of intel. Yet, Biden claims there was no intel passed to the White House on the attacks in Benghazi? Really, Joe? We are supposed to believe you would have intel on Iran but you didn’t have intel on Libya? To quote Hillary’s smear against General Petraeus, that requires a willing suspension of disbelief.
This goes much deeper than any of us might think. The Administration is playing a shell game wanting us to concentrate on the Benghazi attack while they try to lay the blame at anyone’s feet they can find; the State Department, CIA, HUMINT, anyone. But when Chris Wallace asked David Axelrod today if the President had attended a intel briefing the day after Benghazi, Axelrod tried to obfuscate the answer. In other words, no, Obama was concentrating on Vegas, baby, Vegas.
What is it that the Administration is REALLY trying to hide. Inquiring minds want to know.
