PTSD Creates Child Porn Addiction

Loading

That’s what one moron is claiming, at least.

[Child porn downloader Juan] Rosa told the judge that Post Traumatic Stress Disorder he suffers from his military service prompted him to download and sell child pornography.

As a Soldier diagnosed with PTS, let me tell you what a crock this is!  I know you probably already know it, but I’m fed up with troops breaking the law and blaming a fictitious ailment for committing those acts.

PTS changes troops in many ways.  However, it doesn’t cause one to rob banks, kill their family members, or download child pornography.

Our country has created such an entitlement society that some freeloading criminals are using whatever means possible to get away with personal responsibility.  I even just read a story about how a majority of troops would choose to have a 1% pay raise in exchange for not receiving retirement benefits until at least age 50.  The majority of these troops won’t even stay in long to receive retirement, so naturally they don’t care when the rest of us receive those benefits.

I’m glad this tool received 21 years.  Frankly, he should get another 21 for using PTS as an excuse for his shameful behavior along with anyone else faking the funk.  These boneheads do an injustice to the real Americans warriors legitimately suffering from the effects this brings.

Great Post CJ !! – I have family members who [have ] suffered from PTSD…and probably always will to some extent…even with treatment. Difference is, they wanted to get better…not as you say… use it as an excuse to break the Law, or do devious things then blame it on their ailment…

The ‘blame game’ has got to be turned around especially if under false pretenses, as it seems to be the case today with too many people… from the President [what a disgrace] on Down then back up again….it is counter productive and extremely destructive not only to the individual but in the end to all of us…

This thing person is a disgrace to all those soldiers who are serving and have served so bravely and to those who are now suffering from this mental and physical anguish – PTSD…

Seriously, how low can one get? Sadly, nothing surprises me any more.

Thank you for your service CJ words cannot express this – God Bless You and you family…

I remember my father saying to me years ago while listening to the news about a verdict in which the defendent was claiming “insanity”, he told me if this guy gets off, eventhough there was more than enough evidence to show he was sane, this will become the trend…that was thirty some odd years ago, and he was right…The “it’s not you, it’s everyone else’s fault” mantra is the standard reply for any instance now…Individuals who use excuses as this have no honor and never did to begin with…I came in the military in ’85 and any missed goals or failures solely belong on me and me alone…Everyone doesn’t get a trophy….
