Democrats Getting A Bit Nervous?

Loading

I think we’re seeing the Democrat party get a wee bit nervous:

Former Clinton Adviser Lanny Davis Goes Off On Obama Aides: “You Have Vicious People Who Are Working For The President” – “It may be meltdown unless they come to their senses. Why would they want to create enemies, or depict people as enemies: who are their friends?”

Clinton’s Tax-Cut Position Undercuts Obama Stance – “Former Democratic President Bill Clinton suggested Tuesday that Congress temporarily extend all the Bush-era tax cuts, undercutting President Barack Obama’s position that the rates on upper-income Americans should rise at year’s end.”

Ed Rendell: Obama ‘hurt by being a legislator only’ before presidency – “Former Pennsylvania governor Ed Rendell… made his latest swipe at the president Thursday morning in an interview on CBS’s “This Morning.” … Asked by host Charlie Rose whether he thought Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton would have handled the presidency differently from Obama, Rendell responded that he thought Clinton “would’ve come in with a lot more executive experience… I think the president was hurt by being a legislator only.” Rendell said.”

Bill Clinton On Romney’s Bain Ties: ‘This Is Good Work’ – “During an appearance on CNN on Thursday night, Bill Clinton weighed in on presumptive Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s former private equity firm, Bain Capital, which has come under scrutiny in the campaign… “I don’t think we ought to get into a position where we say this is bad work,” Clinton said. “This is good work.” … Clinton characterized Romney’s career as “sterling.””

Booker’s big mouth ruins relationship with Obama, Cabinet hopes – “Thinking highly of [Newark Mayor Cory] Booker, Obama’s campaign asked him to appear on “Meet the Press” on May 20 to act as a mouthpiece, but he proceeded to eviscerate one of the president’s key campaign themes… Booker told a national TV audience the president’s attacks on Mitt Romney’s record at private-equity firm Bain Capital were “nauseating” and made him “very uncomfortable.” … “He’s dead to us,” one ranking administration official said of the prevailing feelings at the White House and Obama headquarters in Chicago.”

Deval Patrick, Democratic Governor, Creates Obama Campaign Headache By Defending Bain – “Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick ended up defending Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney on Thursday during TV appearances in which the Democratic politician was supposed to be serving as a surrogate for President Barack Obama. Patrick… applauded Boston-based Bain Capital, implicitly criticizing the Obama campaign’s attacks on Romney’s record at the private equity firm.”

I’m sure they are missing the Clinton’s right about now eh?

The big question now is will the GOP take advantage of their implosion? They have been on the ball so far but they shouldn’t get overconfident. Five months can be an eternity in politics.

“Clinton ‘would’ve come in with a lot more executive experience… I think the president was hurt by being a legislator only.’ Rendell said.”

Um… excuse me? Exactly what executive experience did Clinton have before being given a Senate seat? Is Ed suggesting that being first lady is executive experience? Would he have supported a Laura Bush candidacy?

@Andy
The Clintons both had experience as operators of a criminal enterprise, their administration. That said, the Obama’s pseudo-elitist arrogance and their efforts to force unfunded healthcare mandates on states and religious groups, restructure Tri-Care , repeal tax cuts in a flat economy, compromise border security and refusal to clear up issues bearing on his legitimacy have all alienated segments of society in an election cycle. The Obama’s have never any shown any awareness of or acknowledged of how deeply America is offended by them and their actions. That Obama seems untroubled by any of these reactions is somewhat troubling to me. After growing the debt and the government on the taxpayers back, Obama acts as if he believes they will swallow more of his snake oil. There is a major disconnect in the man’s personality. When as a socialist he manages to alienate the Kennedys, America’s flagship liberals, you are indeed a nasty piece of work.

@ Andy and Brian:

Nicely stated!

Both obama’s are pathological narcissists and people like them will not accept that americans are rejecting them. Both of them are affirmative action products without ever having to take responsibility for their actions, nor had they ever worked an honest day in their lives. Their accusations of racism towards any and, all opposing them has carried them thru life.

The tables have turned and, they are enraged, but not in panic. Pathological narcissists don’t ever pany, because they are never wrong in their own eyes – it’s always about laying the blame on others – reflecting!

To be honest, I’m beginning to believe that the national security leaks are intentional not only to puff himself up, but also a warning shots to americans, because we are rejecting them. Obama has not one american bone in his body, so why would he care.
As time gets closer to election, expect michelle shrieking once again that we are a racist country and, obama lashing out in anger – a mental and rage filled breakdown. It will get very ugly very fast and, dont be surprised if ‘false flags’ appear attempting to force us to re-elect him.

I’m not sure if it has been mentioned here already, but obama also has plans to send 3,000+ troops to Africa. Whether congress knows or not, I’m don’t think so – it looks more like a UN Peace corp mission to me and, hope that he will be stopped, using our troops as his own security force.

Just ‘cRats jumping ship — where were all these SOB phonies 4 years ago when all of obie’s obvious anti-Americanism was being stuffed in our face.

Just getting out while the getting is still – maybe – good —

I just hope that the overall collective judgement of the American people is such that the VAST majority of demo’s get ousted next fall

@cali: Cali, what troubles me is the careless manner in which Obama has antagonized and alienated various segments of the public. What incumbent does that in an election cycle? Troops going to Africa is not necessarily a bad thing. If it means AFRICOM is being reinforced and its role in assisting other militaries expanded, to combat the spread of AQ, al Shabaab and other militant Islamic groups, that needs to happen. Mali and Sudan are becoming havens for AQ as they are marginalized in SW Asia and Yemen. The nature and recipient of the leaks marks them as part of a strategy to reinforce the weak perception Obama projects as a wartime leader. His vaccillation under pressure is well documented. The fact the leaks illustrate further the flawed and simplistic understanding by Obama of the GWOT’s true nature, is another error by the Obama regime. It is very encouraging to note the voter’s rejection of public employee unions that have been parasitic drag on state governments since their inception.

The coalition I think is fracturing. Bill Clinton won’t own Obama’s Democrat tent. Huffington is getting griefed.

Five months can be an eternity in politics.

Especially when you’re waiting for somebody to mention the elephant in the room.

@ Jason
The next five months give BHO time for considerable mischief. There is nothing that I would put past this bunch. It is instructive that the Clinton wing of the party, the hard left and some of the MSM are trying to put some distance between themselves and the failed policies and reversals of Team Obama.
I don’t know that Mormonism hurts Romney as much as Obama’s apostate status as a muslim and sitting in Rev.Wright’s cesspool of black liberation hate-speech for 20 plus years. The public probably sees more positives in the conservatism, thrift and industrious nature of most Mormons. There is a degree of difference in all major religions. Judaism, Hindu, Sikhism all share some basic beliefs with western religion. If the electorate does not consider character to be of any importance I don’t believe Romney’s faith is a disqualifier. I don’t hold their faith against the Mormons, they are welcome to their beliefs as I am to mine.
