Now here’s an O’Keefe undercover voter ID investigation that should really embarrass some people: O’Keefe Voter Fraud Investigation: Young Man Offered Holder’s Ballot

In a shocking new video, James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas demonstrates to the Attorney General of the United States, Eric Holder, just why he should be concerned about lack of voter ID laws – by walking into Holder’s voting precinct and showing the world that anyone can obtain Eric Holder’s ballot. Literally.

The video shows a young man entering a Washington, DC polling place at 3401 Nebraska Avenue, NW, on primary day of this year – April 3, 2012 – and giving Holder’s name and address. The poll worker promptly offers the young man Holder’s ballot to vote.

Holder has maintained that voter fraud is not a major problem in the United States, and that voter ID would not curb voter fraud in any case.

Ya’ gotta’ love it!

If they didn’t have double standards, they wouldn’t have any standards at all.

Wonder what Holder would do if he showed up to vote only to be told he had already voted?
And that young man….
He gave the poll worker EVERY chance to stop him: he said I’ll be back faster and more furious with my ID, before leaving without the ballot.

An interesting list of things people need photo ID for;

-In some states, photo ID is required for obtaining a tattoo.
-In Illinois, photo ID is required for purchasing common drain cleaner from a hardware store.
-Photo ID is required to get into bars, or places that serve alcohol. Considering many states make it mandatory to see the ID in order to purchase alcohol, if one looks under a certain age, nearly everyone who does so in these states has to show ID.
-The same thing goes for tobacco products as for alcohol.
-“Check into Cash”, or similar places, require ID for cash advancements.
-An ID is required to purchase a firearm, and in some states, you must purchase an ownership card from the state government that you must show an ID to obtain.
-You must have an ID card in order to drive on public roadways. In this case, a driver’s license.
-Many schools around the country require an ID card to enter.
-In some cases, an ID card is required to view movies, in order to prove how old one is.
-Some states require ID in order to purchase some kinds of over the counter drugs.
-Some metal recycling businesses require ID to sell scrap metals, such as copper. And some states are pushing for statewide laws on this.
-Many department stores require a photo ID if one is paying by check or credit card.
-Many states require photo ID in order to get body piercings.
-In some states, photo ID is required to purchase police uniforms.
-The dying local video stores require photo ID to rent videos.
-A driver’s license, a form of photo ID, is required to rent a vehicle.
-In Wisconsin, and probably other states, a photo ID is required to obtain food from a local food pantry.
-There are some states where law requires the doctor’s office to see photo ID prior to seeing the patient.
-Best Buy, and some other stores, require a photo ID when a return of purchase is made.
-In St. Petersburg, FL, a photo ID is required to purchase reduced bus fare “GO” tickets. Sacremento, CA, Richmond, VA, and others require the same thing. I imagine this is commonplace throughout the US.
-Photo ID is required now in order for HS graduates to take the ACT or SAT.
-Target, Walmart, and other stores require photo ID to purchase “M” rated video games.
-Amtrak requires photo ID to purchase, exchange, or refund tickets, storing or checking baggage, and for sending shipments via Amtrak.
-The TSA requires a photo ID for travelers and others to pass their checkpoints at airports.
-Unions across the country require photo ID in order for their members to vote for contract extensions and officer elections.
-Some states require photo ID for the sales of spray paint.
-Some states require photo ID for lottery ticket sales.
-A photo ID is required to obtain a library card in most places.

This is by no means meant to be a complete listing, merely a general idea of the numerous, everyday type actions and transactions which require a photo ID. And, it should put to bed the idea that requiring photo ID in order to vote somehow disenfranchises the poor and minorities.

I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the “good” Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY). In 2010, in response to the Times Square Bomber, Schumer introduced a bill in the US Senate, S3427, that requires individuals purchasing pre-paid phones, to show an ID at time of purchase, to be kept as a record by the originating cellular companies providing the phones. Not an onerous, or overburdensome bill, and one that I can accept as necessary.

However, Senator Schumer also had this to say, this year, about voter ID;

The hard right is really going at this right now and they’ve made a concerted movement to prevent people from voting in a variety of different ways.

Considering that pre-paid phones were, and still are, targeted towards those who are young, with “iffy credit”, or with limited financial means, OR, the same kind of people Schumer and the rest of the liberal/progressives state will be disenfranchised by voter ID laws, the words of the liberal/progressives on these voter ID laws is, at the least, suspect, and more probably, outright lies.

Requiring a Photo ID in order to cast a vote makes sense, on so many levels.

John Cooper
hi,
how about HOLDER COMING TO VOTE AND THE GIRL CALL THE POLICE, HE IS CHARGE FOR TRYING TO VOTE TWICE AND PUT IN PRISON,
THE PERSON ASKING FOR HOLDER WAS GIVEN THE HOLDER SHEET TO VOTE, HOW ABOUT HE VOTE FOR THE CONSERVATIVES, THAT WOULD BE SUPER DOUBLE DOUBLE.
