When a story regarding the Trayvon Martin death appears, it is almost universally accompanied by this image:
It is of a Trayvon Martin years younger than he really was. And it’s not accurate. Dan Linehan has done some sleuthing and found a much different picture of Trayvon Martin than the one being forced down our throats. The real Trayvon Martin is being scrubbed as you read this.

It seems that Tray was also on Twitter, but his account seems to have been recently deleted by his family or friends.
His screen name was “@NO_LIMIT_NIGGA, as you can see from the twitpic account screenshot above. He was also a member of a twitter hash group #team4dat.
At first, I was skeptical that anyone would maintain an account with that sort of derogatory slur in the title, but after doing some research, it’s apparent that it was Trayvon’s account.
The account was in existence long before the shooting occurred a few weeks ago, and was deleted only recently, there are still dozens of references to @NO_LIMIT_NIGGA in google’s cache.
The associated twitpic account matches the account name and is still online at the time of publication. Most of the pics were uploaded months ago, so this account was associated with Trayvon long before the shooting took place.
Several of Tray’s friends have been very open about referring to Trayvon using that account as well. His cousin, who is quite active on Twitter, refers to Trayvon more than a dozen times using the @NO_LIMIT_NIGGA nickname.
Apparently the account has been terminated but Google has lots of cached references.
Trayvon referred to himself as “Slimm” in his Twitter account and his Facebook account.
He had friends in gangs, if he was not in one himself, and there is a question as to whether Martin was active in the drug trade.
On Facebook on February 5th, his friend posts on his wall asking to talk business. Trayvon says he doesn’t have a phone available and his friend says, “Damn were u at a nigga needa plant.”
George Zimmerman, on the other hand, doesn’t warrant the same treatment. The picture the media offers all the time is this one:
We don’t get to see George as a 13 year old. We don’t even get to see George nicely dressed.
George Zimmerman refers to himself as “Hispanic”, but the media has created a new ethnicity for George Zimmerman- the “white Hispanic.”
As Linehan notes, there has been extensive investigation by the media into Zimmerman but there has been little to none into Trayvon Martin.
Exit questions- Why is the media so afraid to accurately portray Trayvon Martin as he really was? Is it because people would stop wondering why George Zimmerman took an interest in him? Why did the media need to create the “white Hispanic” label for George Zimmerman?
Finally-if George Zimmerman is a “white Hispanic”, is Barack Obama a “white black”?

In #25 you place total blame on Zimmerman for “stalking” Martin. How could that be if Zimmerman was returning to his vehicle and was approached from his left rear and assaulted by Martin. Disengaging,returning to the vehicle, approached from behind by his assailant. Yes sir ,that Zimmerman is one hell of a man hunter. He can stalk ’em right back to his vehicle with his back turned. The premise that actions prior to the assault will have much bearing on the grand jury or eventual trial jury is wishful thinking. Martin escalated what became a deadly situation.The jury or juries will have the benefit of evidence, testimony , forensics and sworn statements that we may never see. Their findings will revolve around the actions immediately before Zimmerman ended the fight. Everything else is just window dressing. It is all too easy to vilify those close to both sides of the case. Martin’s parents have drawn criticism and have allowed their grief to be used for a larger agenda. Zimmerman has been ridiculed as a wannabe law officer when he was voluntarily securing a community that had 17 robberies and a shooting in 2011. Having a CCL requires a level of responsibility that the public does not see. A sidearm is lightning in a bottle, you can’t put it back in after it is let out. The mental and ethical aspects of use of lethal force are just as,if not greater than proficiency. In my instruction, measured response begins with mediation and deescalation ,trying to resolve the conflict by way of reason.That is not possible when you have been punched to the ground and are being head bashed on a sidewalk.

Was stating fact. Zimmerman was not arrested and was released by the Sanford Police Department. You can extricate the fact that if they had a case or reasonable suspicion of law breaking, they would have detained & charged him. They didn’t. It’s therefore reasonable to conclude this is their opinion. Otherwise he would have been charged.

You demonstrate a basic lack of understanding as to what the procedural steps are and who makes the decisions from one step to the next.
First, Police Departments don’t charge suspects. That is done by the prosecutor’s office (state’s attorney in this case), usually directly, but sometimes via a Grand Jury proceeding.
Second, Officer Ayala, as well as lead Homicide Investigator Serino (and perhaps others), wanted Zimmerman charged and made those recommendations. They were ultimately overruled by the state’s attorney’s office, thus no warrant was issued.
Finally, the Police Department in this case did indeed have “reasonable suspicion” that a law(s) had been broken. Otherwise Officer Ayala and Investigator Serino would not have sought the arrest warrant that was ultimately declined by the SA.

One wonders why the misdirected effort. Why on earth do we need “Americans to appeal to their respective governors to eliminate laws that offer increased immunity in self-defense cases”.
In the USA there are 14.82 murders per 100K by blacks versus 2.17 per 100K for whites. Almost as many Black Americans are murders as are all other racial classifications of Americans combined, despite the fact that there are Black Americans comprise around 11% of the population as a whole. Yet around 93% of the time it is Blacks killing Blacks.
In 2009 in one on one homicide blacks killed around 2-1/2x as many white (454) as Whites killed Blacks (209) . In population of over 313,000,000 those FBI statistics demonstrate the white on Black homicide is rare.
The odds of an average person living in the US being struck by lightning in a given year is 1/1,000,000. The odds of an average black person living in the US being a victim of one on one White on Black homicide in a given year is 7/1,000,000. Yet “laws that offer increased immunity in self-defense cases” are supposed to be THE problem!
Good lord! One wonders why advocates such as these do not use a modicum of intellectual honesty!

As is becoming more evident Liberal mayors and councilmen would rather their PDs under report the incidence of murders than hold a client population and perennial voting bloc responsible and admit their social program’s failure.
