Ron Paul Myth: Military Donations Favor “the Crazy Ol’ Uncle”

Open Secrets reveals Ron Paul’s top 3 contributors as being the following:

US Army $24,503
US Air Force $23,335
US Navy $17,432

Unfortunately, this doesn’t really tell us how many individual donors contributed. Isn’t it the case that Open Secrets only counts those (around 11,270) who give $200 or more (FEC- $250?)? I think about a third of donors don’t bother listing their workplace on their contribution form. And a combined $65,000 in military campaign donations accounts for very little as a percentage of the millions that the Paul campaign has raised.

In 2008, much was made by the Paul Bearers regarding military contributions (supposedly) going to Ron Paul. The same thing is happening again:

A posting on his campaign website the same day he appeared on “NewsHour” sheds a little light. Headlined “Ron Paul Campaign Raises Most Donations From Military,” it says that Paul has “raised more than any other current presidential candidate in donations from members of the military. Of those donors who indicated their occupation and employer, Paul topped the other contenders.”

Back in 2008, I blogged the following:

Paul: Absolutely. The real question you have to ask is why do I get the most money from active duty officers and military personnel?

(Applause)

Is he talking about “donors identified as affiliated with the military,”?

Like everything else Ron-con-related, I believe he is spinning the results of this.

As the reporter in the Houston Chronicle says,

“many contributors do not disclose their occupations, making it difficult to determine the total extent of military contributions to any one candidate.”

More importantly, the amount of contributions are incredibly small, hardly proving much of anything. Beth adds in the Outside the Beltway comment section:

Also not understood by the obsessed Paulbots and other assorted antiwar nutters: the fact that “military employees” includes civil service employees of the various services. That means a GS-7 who works at Whatever Air Force Base in BFE, Idaho has their employer listed as “Air Force.” For all we know, not one of those people is someone in uniform. I’m sure there are some, but it certainly is not all, nor is it indicative of some big antiwar sentiment in the military. For Paultards and Sullivan to extrapolate that idea from this is laughably absurd.

Furthermore, if one compares the 3rd Quarter statistics of Paul and McCain regarding the contribution amounts of those who do not list their employer, 100 dollars worth was given to Ron Paul’s coffers, compared to that of McCain’s: 2,244,223.39. Out of all of that money, how much of that could have been donated by active and retired veterans? Or “Affiliates” of the military? We don’t know. But it seems clear, by the paltry $100 given by the person(s) not listing employment, that the Ron Paul supporters are overwhelmingly listing their employment when making contributions.

Michael Goldfarb at The Weekly Standard writes,

among all the candidates, the total number of contributors surveyed here numbered less than 1,000–out of an Armed Forces of 2.2 million. And, remember, most of these contributors aren’t even active duty.

So yes, Andrew [Sullivan], those tasked with fighting this war do get it, which is why they aren’t donating to Paul. The only real report we have on political contributions from active duty military in this election cycle has Paul taking in just over $19,000, and that’s only counting donations larger than $200. So, maximum, we’re talking about 90 active duty soldiers who we know have actually contributed to Ron Paul’s campaign. The rest is pure speculation, and the Chron‘s tally of $63,440, with its average of $500 per donation, is unlikely to be populated by many of the guys who are “actually fighting this war.”

I have no doubt a number of active and retired military support Ron Paul and are attracted by what he seems to represent: Limited government and fiscal responsibility, conservative use of our military, and apparent loyalty to the Constitution, channelling the will of our Founding Fathers. That’s a seductive message for many Americans- especially the patriots willing to have their blood spilled on behalf of our country.

As this NYTimes piece notes:

Mr. Paul’s national security positions draw raves from many veterans, students and others who believe his noninterventionism would curtail a dangerous trend toward military adventurism and strengthen America’s influence and prestige while diverting resources to pay down the national debt. In interviews at Paul campaign events this week, many said they embraced his national security proposals, rather than reluctantly accepting them.

“He would get us out of our difficulties overseas,” said Tony Snook, a retired Army sergeant first class wounded in a rocket attack in Basra, Iraq, in 2007 who came to a raucous Paul rally that drew 500 people on Wednesday night in Des Moines. “You should choose your fights wisely,” he said. “If it’s not there, don’t invent something, don’t shed blood needlessly.”

But I think it’s a slick bit of propaganda for him and his supporters to push the Paul Reverist meme that the majority of those who actively serve (and those inactive) are overwhelmingly pulling the lever for an ArPee presidency (The NYTimes article itself admits there’s no way to actually verify the claim).

His passionate and energetic (as well as cult-like followers) supporters are the same rabid enthusiasts who manipulate straw polls and who in 2008 fervently defended their Constitutional Messiah whenever and wherever he was disparaged across the blogosphere (FA had a lot of fun back then, stirring up the Ronulans with one anti-ArPee post after another):

First, none of the hype about Ron Paul ever translates in to reality and actual wins. Much hype is made of his straw poll wins, online poll wins, text in poll wins.Did any of this translate in to any election wins? NO! It was all smoke and mirrors hype.

It would follow that all of this is hype too. All part of the Paulbot scheming attempts to create the aura that Ron Paul is contending and winning.

Maybe Ron Paul does garner a lot of supporters from our military. But it’s not provable. We only have flawed and incomplete (easily manipulable) records and anecdotal evidence (driven by vocal and passionate activist supporters) to go by.

U.S. Army Corporal Jesse Thorsen, right, cheers on GOP presidential candidate Texas Rep. Ron Paul, left, in Ankeny, Iowa, on Tuesday

Statistics don’t lie. It is proven. Of all who donated and identified themselves with military affiliations as an occupation, Ron Paul leads all many times over. If you combine all other candidates into one block, Ron Paul still statistically strongly leads that entire block. Anyone can verify this not only in Open Secrets but also with the FEC. But whether the data is true, that individual donators are ACTUALLY affiliated with the military, is another thing. But say, as conservatives, we take a conservative approach. Let us presume that HALF of all those who donated to Ron Paul and identified themselves as Military lied; even if this is the case, Ron Paul still greatly leads all other candidates. And on the statement here that it’s a very small sample of the overall, this shows the ignorance of the author; the whole science of statistics is to show a representation of the whole through a small sample.

The spin of the author is really shown in this statement… “what he seems to represent: Limited government and fiscal responsibility, conservative use of our military, and apparent loyalty to the Constitution, channelling the will of our Founding Fathers. Thatâs a seductive message for many Americans- especially the patriots willing to have their blood spilled on behalf of our country. ”

Anyone who studied the TRACK RECORD of Ron Paul and all the other candidates will know how they stand. Ron Paul doesn’t “seem” to “apparently” represent these positions, rather he emanates these positions by what he has actually supported or not supported in the past through his actions. All other candidates, whether it’s through supporting socialized medicine, contraceptive population control, the Federal Dept of Education, repeatedly increasing debt ceilings, supporting the United Nations, NEA funding of Piss Jesus and Elephant Dung Madonna “art”, bailing out banks & corporations, policing the world, and/or military intervention without Congressional approval, their track record has shown their “apparent” allegiance that “seems” to support their oath to defend the Constitution???

    hi,
well said, in my mind those who made an oath to the FLAG, AND CONSTITUTION, AND HAVE SERVED AND SAW THEIR BROTHERS IN ARS PERISH AND OTHERE PAINFULLY HURT FOR LIFE,
ARE FOR ME VERY CREDIBLE, AND IF THEY FOLLOW A CERTAIN CANDIDATE, HAVE A DAM GOOD REASON FOR IT, HAVING FOLLOWED THE CURRENT GOVERNMENT IN POWER TO CHANGE AMERICA AND STILL PURSUE THEIR DESTRUCTIVE INTENTS, BEING SLOW DOWN ONLY BY THE CONSTITUTION
WHICH THEY FIND AN OBSTACLE TO ADVANCE THEIR AGENDA,
AND THEY DO FOLLOW MORE THAN MANY CITIZENS WHO FOLLOW BLINDLY IN THE TRAIN TO THE CLIFF GETTING CLOSER AT EVERY DECISIONS FROM OBAMA AND HIS MINIONS ADVISERS,
IF THE MILITARY FOLLOW ONE CANDIDAT FOR WHAT HE REPRESENT, FOR HIS DESIRE TO RESTORE THE MEANING OF THE CONSTITUTION, AND RESTRAIN THE EXPANSES OF RUN AWAY GOVERNMENT,
THAT IS GOOD ENOUGH FOR MY THINKING,
REGRETFULY, RON PAUL IS NOT GETTING THE ATTENTION OF THE CITIZENS SO FAR, BUT THE MILITARY WILL COPE WITH IT, AND FOLLOW THE NOMINEY AT THE END. AND IT WONT BE OBAMA,
I CAN PUT MY LIFE ON IT.

The mischaracture of Dr. Paul as a “crazy ol’ uncle” is what is a “myth.” You may keep it; along with your other disparaging epithets.

“Paultards”? You just killed your credibility. And quite possibly, over 120 monkeys smart enough to click ‘like’ for Farcebook.

Kindly stick to the issues of peace, prosperity, sound and stable money, small government, states rights, citizens rights and personal liberties, and the litmus test of all laws and legalities: The United States Constitution-

that is a scary scenario you bring,
hope fully you will think differently, tomorrow,
RON PAUL IS NOT IN THE GAME, HE HAS LET GO,
OTHERWISE HE WOULD MAKE PUBLIC SPEECHS,
DON’T YOU THINK? and I’m sure he would not advise what you say,
the votes must go without interferences, so to advance a new revival for AMERICA,
to regain her strength, and creativity as she is the master of having done before,

    Hi Bees,
For those of us who want our liberties back – no TSA, no Dept of Ed, no drones flying overhead, no wars by presidential decree, no skirting the Constitution by Executive Orders, and especially a President who understands that our economy is crashing and will not use failed Keynesianism to fix it (both BO and Mitt are Keynesians)- there is no other choice THAN Ron Paul. He still has a good chance of winning Maine as the people there are more determined than ever to elect him after what the GOP did to them in Tampa, throwing out their delegates and all. That is if they can keep the dems and repubs from committing election fraud there again.
Oh, and Ron Paul WILL be publically speaking at Utah Valley University on Oct 18th.
    From the link:

In February, when the Republican presidential candidate had not been nominated, KSL conducted a poll asking Utah residents for whom they would vote in the upcoming election. Paul won the poll with 9,000 votes compared to the 1,800 votes for the other three candidates combined.

You can read all about it here.
Oh, and they already had to change the venue because of high demand so now he’ll be speaking at a the UCCU Center which has 8,500 seats and I bet it will be filled. Rombamney could never attract that many people.

    hi
you know that I like RON PAUL ALSO
if he would be the top CANDIDATE I would have done all I could to show him up, against OBAMA ,
all the CANDIDATES where good and worthy of taking the AMERICA to a recovery
against what is now , but if he doesn’t have enough to win, he must back up and tell his follower of it
for AMERICA’S SAKE, IT WOULD BE MORE HONEST OF HIM TO DO IT, THERE ARE ONLY ONE WHO MUST WIN, and to win he had to stand alone, even if what they had to cut RON PAUL OUT OF IT, BECAUSE RON PAUL SHOULD HAVE DONE IT
THE STAKES ARE TOO HIGH, DON’T YOU SEE? THEY MUST BE ONE AGAINST ONE,
, but so close to the end now, HE IS TOO LATE
I doubt it, therefor we must think of the same goal, that is beat OBAMA, AND FOCUS ON MITT ROMNEY, FOR AMERICA,
AND THOSE WHO FOUGHT, THOSE WHO DIED, THOSE WHO ARE MISSING LIMBS, FOR AMERICA FREEDOM,
and support his plan, other wise we fail by spreading our votes, to more than one against only one DEMOCRAT leader READY TO SELL HIS SOUL TO THE DEVIL SO TO WIN who will continue the death of AMERICA IF HE WIN.
    then the dangers are real,
. BUT NO THREATS WILL WORK LIKE JOE DID HE WANT VIOLENCE IF NOT RON PAUL, THAT IS UN-ACCEPTABLE

    Hi bees,
First let me say I think what joe wrote is horrible. His comment makes me think he doesn’t support Ron Paul at all because Ron Paul’s message is one of peace and prosperity.
So let me be clear – Romney will do NOTHING to bring America back from the brink – NOTHING.
His plan will NOT end the TSA.
His plan will not reign in the DHS.
His plan will not end useless government spending.
His plan will NOT stop drones flying over America.
His plan will NOT get the US out of the UN and kick the UN out of our country.
His plan will NOT stop Agenda 21.
His plan will NOT get rid of GMOs as he is the guy responsible for putting a fresh face on Monsanto when that evil corporation should have died a long time ago.
His plan WILL use the power given him through the NDAA to UNCONSTITUTIONALLY detain indefinitely ANYONE who disagrees with him.
Throughout the primaries he has PROVEN himself to be a liar and a cheat.
He is OWNED by the banksters.
And most disgustingly, his plan WILL is to engage America into more wars we have no business being in meaning more dead, disfigured and broken soldiers.
His ‘plan’ will NOT ‘save’ America.
America had the chance to put a Thomas Jefferson into the White House but instead the primaries were frauded to ensure a Woodrow Wilson/FDR gets in/returns.
The only difference between the repubs and dems is that one is a tortoise and one is a hare but the goal of both parties are the same – fascism married to totalitarianism.
This is the last election we will be allowed to vote for Liberty and NOTHING will stop me from voting for it. And if Romney doesn’t win it will be the GOP’s fault for once again allowing the neocons, banksters and Big Corp to pick the nominee.

Apparently New Jersey and Delaware also count write-in votes but I don’t have enough info to be certain about that. Hi Bees,
If Obama wins it’s the GOP’s fault for rigging the elections so that an unfavorable candidate was selected to run against Obama.
Election fraud happened. A vote for Romney is a vote condoning election fraud – meaning the Republicans will never stop rigging elections. We know the dems do it and the repubs are SUPPOSED to be better than the dems but they have proven themselves to be exactly the same.
I won’t sanction election fraud by voting for a fraud.
You also fail to comprehend that totalitarianism is here and now via TSA/DHS/NDAA/unPatriot Act and the tons of legislation that, if we had honest judges, would have been thrown out as unConstitutional. Romney won’t change any of that. He’s going to plod along just like Obama has/is using the power given him from the Bush era and beyond.
Did you see this story yet, about a dying woman denied a right to a private search at a Seattle airport? Why are innocent Americans subject to these illegal searches? And YES, they are ILLEGAL because we have a 4th Amendment that says this cannot be done without reasonable suspicion. But according to Romney, because he supports the TSA, flying is reason enough to suspect you of being a terrorist. This insanity must stop, but Romney won’t stop it. Although this is a huge issue from where I sit, it’s not the only one. We know BO is evil, but what you refuse to understand is that, IMO, Romney is just as evil.
And Rand only did what he did to stay in the ‘good graces’ of the GOP. From my perspective, Rand chose party over country and I will never agree with that.
    Without liberty, we have nothing.
Thomas Jefferson said, “rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add ‘within the limits of the law’ because law is often but the tyrants will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.”
The TSA/NDAA/DHS/unPatriot Act and scores of other Acts and and bureaucratic dictums have destroyed the liberties of the individual in America. And you’re afraid of Obama winning a second term? I’m afraid of 8 years of Romney.
Your ONLY justification for voting for Romney is that we ‘ll get rid of Obama, but that makes no sense when you know Romney will not restore America’s founding principles and only expand the police state we find ourselves living in with its militarized police force, drones, spy cameras everywhere, NSA, the dreaded blue shirts and VIPR teams patrolling highways. We are already living in Nazi America.
There was ONLY ONE VOICE calling for a restoration to a Constitutional Republic, and it wasn’t the dems but the GOP who did EVERYTHING in its power to subdue that voice, and they did it through media blackout and media derision, obfuscation, and election fraud.
Now you tell me, that isn’t evil?
I’m a Constitutinal/Jeffersonian Republican. Romney is a neocon RINO who passed the blueprint for Obamacare, signed legislation abrogating 2nd Amendment rights, helped rebrand Monsanto who now give us GMOs(watch the video at the link, even the first 15 minutes, and you’ll never look at food the same way again), and sided with the UN by passing ‘climate change’ legislation in Mass.
Let the others vote for tyranny if they want, but for me, never.

SHE NEED ALL THE AMERICANS TO LIFT HER UP, THAT IS THE VOTES FOR, MITT ROMNEY, IF THE GOP DID IT TO ASSURE THE WIN OF ONE CHOSEN,
, YOU DON’T NEED TO DO BECAUSE OF ANGER,,
TWO WRONG DON’T DO ONE RIGHT,
YOU SAY HE WON’T DO THAT OR HE WON’T DO THIS, OR ANOTHER ,OR ANOTHER,
YOU KNOW WHAT HE WILL DO? THAT IS MUCH MORE THAN ALL THE NEGATIVES,
BUT AS FOR THE THINGS YOU WANT HIM TO DO, HE MIGHT DO THEM ALL,
YOU HAVE NO PROOF THAT HE WON’T DISMANTLE THE WRONG, NO PROOF,
BUT YOU ARE LOOKING AT THE DARK SIDE, BECAUSE YOU ARE ANGRY, I UNDERSTAND THAT,
BUT HAVE YOU THOUGHT THAT YOU HAVE TO GET HIM THERE FIRST, HE WILL DO GREAT THINGS BUT ONE MOST IMPORTANT THING FIRST IS JOBS FOR THE OTHER AMERICANS,
AND THAT IS ONE STEP,BUT YOU KNOW HE WILL DO MORE THAN THAT, HE WILL DO MANY THINGS
BECAUSE HE HAS A HEAD ON HIS SHOULDER AND CAN DEAL WITH MULTIPLE TASKS,
BUT ANOTHER THING IS FOR HIM TO KNOW IT’S NOT WISE TO CRUSH AN ORGANISATION
EMPLOYING MANY PEOPLE IN ONE EXECUTIVE ORDER, IT WOULD BE ANTI JOB,
HE IS FOR JOBS TO THE UNEMPLOYED, NOT THE EMPLOYED, NO ONE ELSE CAN DO IT,
AND RON PAUL WOULD NOT BE SO CRAZY AS TO DO IT EITHER, NO OBAMA WILL DO IT EITHER,
SO YOU HAVE A REAL CONSCIENCE DILEMMA, AND I KNOW YOU ARE SMART, AND YOU LOVE YOUR AMERICA, YOU KNOW THE MILITARY DIED FOR YOU TO BE ABLE TO MAKE THE CHOICE TO VOTE
FOR THE ONE WITH THE MOST ABILITY, I am sure to the max that MITT ROMNEY HAS
AN IMPORTANT PLACE IN MIND FOR RON PAUL, IN THE POSITION HE WOULD BE THE BEST,
THAT IS COMING AFTER HE IS IN POWER, HE HAS TOLD THE CANDIDATES HE HAS A PLACE FOR THEM AND HE WANT THEM TO BE AROUND,

Obama’s ‘socialist sustainability’? Is that anything like the UN’s ‘sustainable development’ which is nothing more than codeword for communism?
Both Romney and Obama are Keynesians, so our economy will not fare better regardless of who wins.
    Romney won’t cut education spending.
In August, Romney said Congress should delay all cuts for at least a year.
Romney is against cutting any part of Big Government. He believes the government knows how to spend your money better than you do.
The government doesn’t ‘create jobs’. I wish that myth would go away.
Romney did everything in his power to shut Ron Paul out and you believe he’ll let Ron Paul have some menial task in his administration? Bees, wake up and smell the honey. Will never happen.

Please watch this video of Charlotte Iserbyte speaking about where America’s politicians have gone wrong and how the wrongs are perpetuated by both political parties and just how much danger our country is in. My opinion is that America will continue to descend into oblivion because no president is will stop this – not when we have choices like Romney and Obama who both are pro NDAA, pro Patriot Act. pro Agenda 21, pro TSA, pro individual mandate, pro assassination, pro drone strikes, pro drug war, pro bankster bailouts, pro Federal Reserve, pro ‘quantitative easing’ which is just another word for printing fiat money, pro UN, pro IRS, pro IMF, pro corporatism, pro Keynesianism, pro NAFTA, pro gun grab and both have Goldman Sachs as their major donor .

    Hi Bees,
Did you watch the video? Just wondering.
I really have to ask you, don’t you ever vet anyone? Rick Perry is a shill for the UN and Agenda 21 and is spreading it all over Texas using Agenda 21′s Marxist ‘public private partnership’ program, or P3s.
He signed into law SB 1048 which allows all public infrastructure, including public buildings, schools, nursing homes, ports, mass transit, etc. to be auctioned-off to private interests in long-term sweetheart deals with taxpayer subsidies and profit guarantees using P3s.
P3s destroy the free market. And if you know anything about Marxism, it’s all about destroying the free market.
Rick also tried to get the Trans Texas Corridor constructed which would have seized over 580,000 acres of private land and would have been the start of the NAFTA Superhighway. NAFTA, in turn, is part of the plan to implement the North American Union (NAU) which is how the elites plan on killing the sovereign countries of Canada, United States and Mexico and turn ‘us’ into the EU – and the EU is nothing but the European version of the defunct USSR. That alone should explain why the EU is going to crash and burn just like the USSR crashed and burned – socialism always fails. Of course, a lot of people dispute the NAU, but to each their own.
So Ricky ol’ boy, was helping to DESTROY the US’s and Canada’s and Mexico’s sovereignty to make himself look good to the evil elites. Oh, and it was with Newt Gingrich’s help that in 1993 Clinton was able to get the NAFTA Agreement passed. And although Newt still says it’s a great deal, in 2011 Robert Scott of the Economic Policy Institute conducted a study and found that about 700,000 American jobs have been lost because of NAFTA and that the small $1.6billion trade surplus we had prior to the Newt/Clinton deal has turned into a trade deficit of $97.2billion.
Rick, like most Republican governors, are RINOs and there is no such thing as a ‘good’ RINO.

yes I’m just coming out of her speech, very scary tactics and really un-believeble,
but but could it have been true before theses last 4 years, that is hard to believe,
but inside theses last four years, I say yes totally and even more radically,
because we see it , because the youth is voting OBAMA ON A VAST NUMBER,
they are the ones who have been program to WHAT CHARLOTTE is explaining,
THE MIND CONTROL has been implement not by the GOPS AS SHE SAID BUT BY THE DEMOCRATS OBAMA,

that re-enforce my thinking of how dangerous this administration is,

    Hi Bees,
I refrained from commenting on your latest post because of its, and I mean this as no offense to you, obvious naiveté.
It seems you have a rather simplistic view of American politics: republicans good, democrats bad.
That couldn’t be further from the truth and if you remain in that closed mindset you will never understand a word I write so really, what is the point?
Both Eisenhower and Reagan, Republican Presidents, promoted the ‘cultural’ exchange between the US and USSR/Russia and it was the Americans who lost out in the deal.
A very erudite person, I know not who, put this together and explained clearly how Americans have accepted Communism as their way of life by detailing how our government has passed legislation in accordance with the 10 Planks of Communism:

The 10 PLANKS stated in the Communist Manifesto and some of their American counterparts are…

    1. Abolition of private property and the application of all rents of land to public purposes.
Americans do these with actions such as the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution (1868), and various zoning, school & property taxes. Also the Bureau of Land Management (Zoning laws are the first step to government property ownership)

    2. A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.
Americans know this as misapplication of the 16th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, 1913, The Social Security Act of 1936.; Joint House Resolution 192 of 1933; and various State “income” taxes. We call it “paying your fair share”.

    3. Abolition of all rights of inheritance.
Americans call it Federal & State estate Tax (1916); or reformed Probate Laws, and limited inheritance via arbitrary inheritance tax statutes.

    4. Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels.
Americans call it government seizures, tax liens, Public “law” 99-570 (1986); Executive order 11490, sections 1205, 2002 which gives private land to the Department of Urban Development; the imprisonment of “terrorists” and those who speak out or write against the “government” (1997 Crime/Terrorist Bill); or the IRS confiscation of property without due process. Asset forfeiture laws are used by DEA, IRS, ATF etc…).

    5. Centralization of credit in the hands of the state, by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly.
Americans call it the Federal Reserve which is a privately-owned credit/debt system allowed by the Federal Reserve act of 1913. All local banks are members of the Fed system, and are regulated by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) another privately-owned corporation. The Federal Reserve Banks issue Fiat Paper Money and practice economically destructive fractional reserve banking.

    6. Centralization of the means of communications and transportation in the hands of the State.
Americans call it the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and Department of Transportation (DOT) mandated through the ICC act of 1887, the Commissions Act of 1934, The Interstate Commerce Commission established in 1938, The Federal Aviation Administration, Federal Communications Commission, and Executive orders 11490, 10999, as well as State mandated driver’s licenses and Department of Transportation regulations.

    7. Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the state, the bringing into cultivation of waste lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan.
Americans call it corporate capacity, The Desert Entry Act and The Department of Agriculture… Thus read “controlled or subsidized” rather than “owned”… This is easily seen in these as well as the Department of Commerce and Labor, Department of Interior, the Environmental Protection Agency, Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Reclamation, Bureau of Mines, National Park Service, and the IRS control of business through corporate regulations.

    8. Equal liability of all to labor. Establishment of industrial armies, especially for agriculture.
Americans call it Minimum Wage and slave labor like dealing with our Most Favored Nation trade partner; i.e. Communist China. We see it in practice via the Social Security Administration and The Department of Labor. The National debt and inflation caused by the communal bank has caused the need for a two “income” family. Woman in the workplace since the 1920′s, the 19th amendment of the U.S. Constitution, the Civil Rights Act of 1964, assorted Socialist Unions, affirmative action, the Federal Public Works Program and of course Executive order 11000.

    9. Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries, gradual abolition of the distinction between town and country, by a more equitable distribution of population over the country.
Americans call it the Planning Reorganization act of 1949 , zoning (Title 17 1910-1990) and Super Corporate Farms, as well as Executive orders 11647, 11731 (ten regions) and Public “law” 89-136. These provide for forced relocations and forced sterilization programs, like in China.

    10. Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of children’s factory labor in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production.
Americans are being taxed to support what we call ‘public’ schools, but are actually “government force-tax-funded schools ” Even private schools are government regulated. The purpose is to train the young to work for the communal debt system. We also call it the Department of Education, the NEA and Outcome Based “Education” . These are used so that all children can be indoctrinated and inculcated with the government propaganda, like “majority rules”, and “pay your fair share”. WHERE are the words “fair share” in the Constitution, Bill of Rights or the Internal Revenue Code (Title 26)?? NO WHERE is “fair share” even suggested !! The philosophical concept of “fair share” comes from the Communist maxim, “From each according to their ability, to each according to their need! This concept is pure socialism. … America was made the greatest society by its private initiative WORK ETHIC … Teaching ourselves and others how to “fish” to be self sufficient and produce plenty of EXTRA commodities to if so desired could be shared with others who might be “needy”… Americans have always voluntarily been the MOST generous and charitable society on the planet.

Not one Republican President has ever done ANYTHING to end this catastrophe of communism that has permeated our nation over the years – not just Obama years. But there was one, and only one, Republican presidential candidate with an honorable plan to begin to disentangle our Republican form of government from the tentacles of communism that have been strangling us, a good doctor who wanted to kill this cancer that has been eating away at the very fiber of our American soul: Ron Paul. But, IMO, many on this forum refused republicanism by supporting neoconism which promotes perpetual warfare and therefore promotes eternal slavery through the relinquishing of our liberties through the continued abrogation of all our rights, not only those specified in the Bill of Rights.
What saddens me most, and yes I am saddened not angry, is that the great minds who post here prefer war over peace and slavery over liberty by their support of a GOP that pepetrated election fraud to further its cause against our founding principles and documents, and currently support another puppet of the elite: Romney.

One more thing – your scaremongering that Obama has the youth vote needs to stop. That may have been true in 2008, but this is 2012 and the youth vote belongs to Ron Paul.
Here’s a short clip of Ron Paul as he enters the UCCU in Utah where over 4,200 youth came to see him speak (Oct 18, 2012); youth the GOP obviously did not want in its fold.

If he had the real youth vote he would have won the primary delegate votes needed to be republican canidate. But really? Him? A racist and an anti-Semitic winning the youth vote for GOP? No thanks. It is no wonder that Rand stays clear of Ron’s legacy manifestos.

    hi,
I appreciate all your information, thank you for it,
what is separating you and I, my understanding here, it might be naive and simplistic for you.
it’s that the now situation I see, which is to my view extreme for who I figure AMERICA is situated,
and cannot bare to stay in without crashing so deep as to eliminate its foundation itself, which is the end,
I see it already in progress, and it take a new PRESIDENT LIKE IT OR NOT, because it’s into in extremit situation which cannot gamble or wait longer,
and the best solution, has been MITT ROMNEY chosen by his peers which have been raise to positions of leadership in their STATES, giving them more knowledge to judge the CANDIDATE needed,
and they act on it majority at the end of a due process of elimination,
so in my mind he became the legitimate LEADER TO COMPETE FOR THE PRESIDENCY,
my thoughts of him are positive as much as I could follow all the literature about him,
you come and tell me of what happen to RON PAUL, I understand your anger, I take seriously what you say because you have demonstrate a loyalty toward AMERICA and I did admire you and your position,
but, I differ from you by thinking that RON PAUL CANNOT WIN , as I liked him also; not this time, and probably not any time,
because he started too late in his own time table,
so in my mind it’s better to rally under one person qualify to do the extraordinary recovery
of this NATION IN PERIL, HE HAS THE WILL THE ENERGY AND THE ABILITY TO FACE ANYTHING ,
because he was raise to love AMERICA like you, and that to me is the first thing needed, and like you, he has my admiration, also, and from many people, he is so close to win at this time THE PEOPLE are coming to join him from all the STATES , I also believe, and for those who believe in GOD he has chosen him also

Mr Irons, how can you expect to know what any of the true figures are after NC when the GOP went full force with committing election fraud?
Election fraud perpetrated by GOP FOR Mitt in Washington State.
    Ballot stuffing in Arizona.
GOP use police to arrest duly elected Ron Paul supporters in Louisiana.
Credentials Committee fraudulantly throws out Maine’s duly elected delegates.
Romney lawyers commit election fraud in North Dakota.
GOP oust RP delegates in Massachusetts by coming up with a brand new rule, never seen or used before saying the Romney campaign can throw out anyone it wants for ‘just cause’. I think Romney’s spokespersom meant ‘just because’.
And then there is the algorithmic vote flipping that occured in every state where those awful voting machines are used. When will America be as intelligent as the Germans and get rid of them? Oh, but we couldn’t do that because the Goldman Sachs puppets might not get elected.
Mr Irons, if you prefer to live with your head in the sand, that’s your business. But do not expect good outcomes for America when its leaders are not duly elected by the People, but grab their position through fraud.

    Hi Bees,
First, please stop your narrative that I am angry. I have never said I was angry though I have said I am saddened. Do not presume to know how it is I am feeling. I won’t presume to know how you are feeling and I don’t want you to make up what it is you think I’m feeling.
And I hate to say this, but neither Goldman Sach nor the GOP is GOD, and Romney became the nominee through election fraud perpetrated by the GOP on behalf of the banksters and corporatists.
Do you honestly believe that God sanctions fraud, cheating and stealing? I don’t know that God at all, and personally, I don’t want to.
I would have less of a problem with a Romney win had he done so honestly. But for him to have to lie and cheat his way to the position he now has tells me he is a man of low moral charcter. There’s already a seated president of no moral character and the last thing we need is another one like that.
All we can do now is wait and see what happens and if what I say will happen does happen.
There is no doubt in my mind that America will fall. What that will look like, I don’t know, but there is no way a country can ever repay a $16trillion debt without actually reducing spending – not proposed spending like Romney says he will do – or subjugate its people without there being terrible repercussions. Look at Rome. Look at the USSR. The government is breft of morals. John Adams said our Constitution is meant for a moral people. I see nothing moral about the NDAA, TSA, DHS, or the unPatriot Act. I see nothing moral about killing people at random with drones. I see nothing moral about keeping emails or comments on blogs. I see nothing moral about shredding our Constitution. I see nothing moral when it comes to election fraud. An immoral man cannot restore morality.

at the end of your comment you mention ; I see,
and all is about what is done now BY OBAMA, only OBAMA,
NOTING of that is what MITT ROMNEY agenda,
that’s why I was saying to rally with him, he has the winning formula,
he is a human being not a cartoon hero which there is no need to become a PRESIDENT,
they have put the image of OBAMA EVERYWHERE TO SELL, AND TO PROMOTE HIM, IT DIDN’T MAKE HIM SUCCEED , HE IS AN IMAGE,which has outlive his time, he made jokes to entertain his crowd, he did no accomplish what was expected of him by the PEOPLE who vote for him, and the other who count
as well, even more because they warn of what dangers they saw coming.
so you are smart enough to see how important this election is, and the most important of this never seen
AMERICA, SO THE MEANS JUSTIFYED THE ACTIONS THIS TIME FOR THE CAUSE TO WIN.

HE WAS also a CANDIDATE, and like RON PAUL,
HE IS ANGRY, he would have want the same as you mention for RON PAUL,
and he was ask the question that he did not have enough, but he said also that he remained a candidate and would have like to express his agenda, I think his name is JONHSON, he did not have as much follower as RON PAUL,
