From Investors

The EPA thinks it’s worth spending billions of dollars each year to reduce already minuscule amounts of mercury in the outside air. So why is it trying to shove mercury-laced fluorescent bulbs into everyone’s homes?

When the EPA announced its new air pollution rules this week — designed to reduce power plant emissions of mercury and other to gases — Administrator Lisa Jackson blogged that:

Iraq Government On The Verge of Collapse…All Because Obama Want’s To Get Re-elected.

Well now we see the results of our President leaving Iraq. The mission wasn’t complete but when one only cares about his re-election, about himself to be more accurate, then completing the mission doesn’t enter into the equation.

And the Iraqi’s are paying for our President’s selfish behavior: Continue reading

Mitt ‘Flip-Flopping’ Away

Ole’ Mitt is giving John Kerry a run for his money for the Flip-Flopper crown:

On an appearance on “Fox News Sunday” a few days ago, Mitt Romney was asked whether, given what we know today, the 2003 U.S. invasion of Iraq was the right thing to do. Romney wouldn’t say.

Had the sign in the yard. Did the smile and wave thing on the corner. I was ecstatic to see a Republican win an election in the Liberal Lion’s den. Life was good.

Pakistan Holds US Troops Hostage

I went to the PX yesterday looking for some boot laces for one of our Wounded Warriors. His uniforms and boots had to be cut off. So, he has boots, but no laces.
Half the shelves were empty with little signs that begged for patience as “we are experiencing logistical supply shortages due to the blockade in Pakistan.” Continue reading

Iraq will be Barack Obama’s Vietnam [Reader Post]

Iraq will become Barack Obama’s Vietnam. Not in the boogieman sense that the left has been using the Vietnam War for the last 40 years where every American use of force is the “next Vietnam” but rather in its aftermath. Continue reading

Say What? Dec. 18, 2011 Edition [Reader Post]

President Barack Obama: “I would put our legislative and foreign policy accomplishments in our first two years against any president – with the possible exceptions of Johnson, F.D.R., and Lincoln.”

President Obama: “I wanna make sure they [diplomats and workers in Iraq] come home [safely], because they’re not soldiers.” Continue reading
