Tim Tebow’s devotion to his religious beliefs is nothing new, but you’d never know it based on what the media is doing to him.
At HuffPo:
Drudge:
Love him. Doubt him. Praise him. Ridicule him. Gape in awe. As the last two months have shown, there are 300 million opinions of the Broncos’ quarterback, and every one of them is right
SNL mocks him for his religious devotion.
And of course there is the incomparably disgusting and idiotic Bill Maher:
A “Tebowing.com” site has been created. The cynic in me has doubts about its intentions, especially based on Jared Kleinstein’s own words:
After the dramatic win, Denver native Jared Kleinstein and several friends snapped a picture of themselves in the same pose that Tebow took after the game. They dubbed the action “Tebowing” and posted their picture on Facebook. After the pic generated an unexpected number of likes and comments, the 24-year-old Kleinstein launching a website dedicated to Tebowing.
The site sells Tebow gear which allegedly supports local charities. I have an email to the site asking exactly how much of their sales actually goes to charity.
One might to be tempted to think Tebow’s acts are unique, but they are not.
Albert Pujols
Cris Carter
Bobby Bonds
Watch carefully during the baseball season and see how many players cross themselves as they come to bat. See how many point skyward after something positive. Watch during a football game and see how many players take a knee after a score.
Tebow speaks openly about his religion, but he does not proselytize. So why is he such a target for liberals?
It is because he is white and Christian. There’s no way Maher or any of the other twits critical of Tebow would cast insults if Tebow was Muslim.
Tim Tebow created a charity foundation that works in part to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses. He spent his signing bonus on charity donations. He spends the off-season doing charity work in the Philippines. You can get a sense of his other efforts here.
Bill Maher, on the other hand, has spent his time boosting his net worth to $23 million. His good works know no limits. Maher has donated an item for auction to benefit “Save the Chimps.”
Tebow is not to be derided- he is to be admired. By all accounts he is a great person.
So they all ought to get off his back- especially Maher. Maher is a perfect example of what’s wrong with the liberal culture. He’s pompously vulgar and disrespectful while spitting all over the likes of Tim Tebow and all that’s right with America.
Hitchens was right:
Maher fans are morons.

@Liberal1 (objectivity): This atheist person says that more and more americans are less into organize religions and takes credit for the findings of the study he quoted. Is he trying to proselyte people into his way of thinking. What exactly do you give hope for. You claim not to believe in nothing so what can you give to hope in. False hope is better than no hope at all. My hope is not false but since you believe my hope is false I am still better off than you. Hope gives us a chance to go beyond our circumstances and believe something is so much better waiting ahead. You on the other hand say that your life on earth is all you got so go and make the best of it. Because there is so much tragedy in people lives what can you tell them? You think that people run their own lives and make there own destiny, but you are so mis-informed. You are not even guaranteed your next breath. Who knows you may have already died. What if you live maybe 100 years. What is 100 years in comparison to eternal life. The same accusation that you probably say about Christian is they think they are superior, but we claim that we are sinners who need a Savior. You say that you don’t need anybody to help you. Survival of the fittest is your motto, and so you rely on your own goodness, your own strength to pull you through desperate situations. Evolution is a joke. Those who have claimed this is their religion have that superiority attitude. They are the wise who can spout off all sorts of scientific
evidence, but the interesting thing is they miss the obvious things that are right in front of there faces. Just look at your hands. They were created and have a purpose that do amazing things. Write back.
@boldaboutGod: That is just about the best defense of faith that I have ever read. Thank you very much!
wow. i love when those who are “religious” claim to have some sort of “divine” intelligence. THAT in itself is vanity. i digress. ignorance is what it is…and blind faith is its very, very close cousin.
C Andrew Scott
too bad you come back as the spoiler of a good comment, specially on
this long POST,
is in there anything nice you can find to say to someone who come with claiming he is religious,
does IT SCARE YOU TO HAVE AN ADVICE GIVEN BY A RELIGIOUS PERSON?
AMERICA WAS FOUNDED WITH GOD WISDOM WHICH HELP THE FOUNDERS WRITE THE CONSTITUTION WHICH SURVIVED CENTURIES, AND THOSE YOU SUPPORT WANT TO TEAR THIS PRECIOUS LAW WHO SURVIVED TILL NOW, YES LOOK AT YOUR HANDS YOU USE THEM TO TYPE NEGATIVES
AND CREATING A BAD FEELING TO THE ONE COMING WITH A GIFT OF GOOD FEELING AND GOOD ADVICE, YOU SHOW THAT YOU ARE SO FULL OF YOURSELF, THERE IS NO ROOM FOR YOUR SOUL
again, Bee…your attempts to re-write American history is entertaining, but quite skewed. OUR Founding Fathers (let me know when you’ve emigrated to American and can claim it as YOURS) did not create our nation for Christians alone. READ the First Amendment and understand that YOURS is not the ONLY faith.
people like you, who “believe” that the rest of “need” a savior, fail to understand that when you preach and push your religious nonsense…it violates MY rights to worship (or not worship) however I feel is necessary. it does not “scare” be to receive religious advice. does it “scare” you to entertain the concept that you are wrong? i believe so.
let’s hope for Tim Tebow, and you…along with all of his other “faithful” supporters…that Peyton Manning chooses San Francisco over Denver. i’d hate to see what you would do if he wasn’t in the spot light every day promoting your form of “love”.
C Andrew Scott
again you twist the words and establish a defensive attitude,
you have a problem of understanding positive words, and you turn it into negative thoughts and respond
as if you have to fight with GOD, WHY SO. DID YOU HAVE A TRAUMA IN YOUR LIFE TO
TURN YOU INTO IT, WHAT CREATOR do you accept? or do you think you came into EARTH
AS A FUNGUS FIRST?
And if you do. who do you think create the fungus
i’m not twisting your words, Bee. YOU wrote them. their YOURS.
i do not have a problem with “positive” words. i think YOU have a problem with
MY leaders aren’t the ones scrambling to take away the FREEDOMS of individuals and the RIGHTS of AMERICANS (again, Bee…let me know when you get that dual-citizenship). the Religious Right (with their “infinite” knowledge) have been struggling to indoctrinate MY country with THEIR dogma, which completely violates the First Amendment. i love when people like you try to deflect and project.
and no…i do NOT believe in “god” and have no need to. if you have a problem with that, i am sorry…for you. i’m also sorry i bothered coming back to this forum at all. for all the “love” and “wisdom” you claim…you spew hatred and ignorance in the name of your own faith.
make a great day! i’ve got mouths to feed.
@C Andrew Scott: Calm down there oh tolerant one. You talk a good game but then you say things that reveal your biases.
Odd, I have been around and actually listened when folks of faiths other than my own preached and I did not feel violated.
If I attend a meeting and a Rabbi says a prayer, I am not offended or violated. Even in light of all the Islamic terrorism in the world today, if an Imam says a prayer, I am fine with it.
If you became a believer in Scientology, for instance and made a post on here about how much peace and joy you have found since converting, why would I feel violated? Threatened? Frightened?
Looks to me that, in the general sense, Christians are far more tolerant than self-professed Godless creatures such as yourself.
Now don’t let me stop you, go ahead and pick on Ms. Beezy – but be careful, she’s got a sting to her!!
@anticsrocks: here’s the interesting tidbit. i did not walk into a Jewish temple to hear a Rabbi give a prayer. i did not step into a mosque either. or a Catholic cathedral. or a Baptist church.
Bee makes the revisionist argument that the Founding Fathers of America used “GOD WISDOM” which is completely inaccurate. she also seems, again, to ignore the true nature of the First Amendment. in fact…doesn’t this thread exist only because some “godless creature” (Bill Maher) made a comment about the ever-important Tim Tebow? isn’t it also quite amazing that so many people praise Tebow for his character simply because he is Christian and in the spotlight. i’ve heard it from so many angles. “American NEEDS Tim Tebow”, “he’s a great role-model”, “he’s such a good guy”
i disagree with you whole-heartedly that Christians are “far more tolerant” when i read jibberish from the likes of Bee and see the GOP candidates do everything in they can to take control and dictate morality, by imposing religiously influenced law.
it is not “Christians” i feel “threatened” by…it is ignorance.
make a great day!
@C Andrew Scott: Well by all means, let’s just make sure that everyone else in the country, and for that matter, since it was on FA that you felt “violated,” the internet as well stop talking about God, or faith, or religion. I mean God forbid – oops, sorry – you get offended.
Grow up.
Why does the fact that someone else say that Tebow is a good, Christian role model offend you? Are you really that much of a prima donna?
You said:
Nope, sorry. YOU are the one who has it wrong.
From our first, formal founding document, emphasis mine:
Now if, as you say, the Founding Fathers did not use God’s wisdom, why then did Jefferson feel compelled to include the fact that we get our rights from our Creator? Or that we are entitled to these rights by the “Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God?”
As for the First Amendment, it says:
So our Congress cannot Constitutionally prohibit the free exercise of religion, but you, C Andrew Scott want religious folks to shut up because it makes you feel uncomfortable?
Excuse me, but exactly where do you get the right to say who can, or should, say or not say – anything? Seems to me you are all puffed up about all us “ignorant” people of faith when you don’t even understand the most basic, simple principle of our founding documents.
Every single one of the Founding Fathers were men of faith, and yet you say that Ms. Beez is rewriting history when she claims they turned to God’s wisdom.
If it weren’t so sad, it would be laughable.
@anticsrocks: it is laughable, sir. and your defense of Bee’s revisionist mentality is comical.
where does it say YOUR “creator”, sir? where does it say YOUR bible?
i don’t want to “shut up” religious people. i am not made uncomfortable by “religious” people. as i’ve said before…it’s ignorant bigots i have beef with. YOU make the assumption that i am clumping “religious” people with “ignorant” people.
but again…i digress…this thread began when someone here decided it was justified to attack one man’s Freedom of Speech. and yet, i’ve never said you or Bee did not have a right to your respective faiths. i’ve simply argued against your respective mentalities.
@anticsrocks:
you’re right. how foolish of me. here’s a great example.
yeah. sounds very “tolerant” to me.
C Andrew Scott
thank you for the link,
wow, what a speech, he does it best, yes he has told the TRUTH
AND HE SAID SOMEBODY HAS TO TELL IT, SOMEBODY HAS TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT,
AND HE IS THE PERFECT ONE TO SAY IT.
I really appreciate the link you presented, you are right it is a great example, of a warrior for GOD
TO SAVE AMERICA HE LOVE WITH PASSION. LIKE TEBOW DISPLAY WITH KINDNESS FOR HIS FELLOW HUMAN.
BYE
@ilovebeeswarzone: thank you, Bee…for clarifying. you are not ignorant. you are stupid. there is a subtle difference.
C Andrew Scott
I have your next answer on my site, but not here yet, I just did not want to click on this long thread,
but here is my answer to it;
you call me stupid ignorant, well on many things yes I am, but I can better than you discern between a righteous HUMAN, AND ANOTHER HUMAN WHO IS LOST IN THE EMPTINESS OF THE VOID HE HAS FALLEN.
ONLY YOU CAN GET OUT OF IT
@ilovebeeswarzone: no, Bee. i haven’t fallen. i’ve, as you might say, “seen the light”. yes. i call you “ignorant” (lacking knowledge), but it is clear you actually are “stupid” (lacking intelligence). the simple fact that you applaud and support this bigoted hate-monger speaks volumes about how far removed you are from what America and freedom is all about and how.
please…be faithful…but do not be blind.
make a great day.
C Andrew Scott
you just attack another man using his free speech right, in his own CHURCH WITH HIS COMMUNITY,
who like the message as we notice,
don’t worry about me, I WILL SURVIVE WITH THE BIT OF INTELLIGENCE I HAVE,
AND THE IGNORANCE TOO, BECAUSE I know my limits,
it’s better than I can see and say about you.
@ilovebeeswarzone: i did not walk into that man’s church and insult him. that clip of Dennis Terry is from him announcing GOP candidate Rick Santorum. HE invaded MY space. HE decided to spew his filth and hatred in the name of HIS god and tried to pass if off as MY country. HE decided to step all over the First Amendment in the name of HIS god.
and you support him. how am i not surprised.
C Andrew Scott
your not hypocrite are you?
do you mean you want to vote for RICK SANTORUM?
YOU SAY HE INVADE YOUR SPACE? ARE YOU THE DEVILS GOON?
YES HE INVADE THE DEVIL’S SPACE, AND HE TOLD HIM TO LEAVE WITH HIS GOONS,
GOOD JOB
@ilovebeeswarzone:
oh my, no. that guy is a total tool.
perhaps we could end this silly thread and i could simply ask you to read the Constitution, Bee. please…tell me where the word “god” is ever mentioned. perhaps you’re confusing the Constitution with the Declaration of Independence…it is rather important to understand the difference. while the Founding Fathers were “religious” men…they also spent 3+ months debating and negotiating about what should go into the document that would “govern the land” and that document (the Constitution) is quite secular.
Dennis Terry’s hate-filled speech, introducing a man campaigning to be MY president, is disgusting and is your persistent defense of such religiously-based bigotry.
C Andrew Scott
you are interfering with my stove dry pan browning my flower for my pork ragout,
it cannot be allow to burn, so I’LL be brief, do you know about the 7.6 massive EARTHQUAKE
WHICH HIT MEXICO AS NOW THEY ANNOUNCE, AND MALIA THE DAUGHTER OF OBAMA IS IN MEXICE BUT NOBODY MENTION IF SHE IS AROUND AND OKAY.
YES I will read it again, and retract if I don’t find the word GOD IN IT, BUT CREATOR IS AS GOOD AS GOD TO ME
BACK TO MY BROWN FLOWER, wow it smell good in the house,
take care oh MANNING IS WITH THE BRONCO
@C Andrew Scott: At the risk of you labeling me intolerant, I must say that your temperament on this thread begs the question, “Are you naturally a jack-ass, or is this a trait that you have developed over the years?”
I’ll give you this though, when you’re wrong, proven wrong and shown to be wrong, you snap them blinders on and press forward like a good little drone!
You said, as regards the Declaration of Independence:
Let me try this again, and I will type slower this time so that you can increase your comprehension skills…
The Declaration of Independence clearly states that ALL men are created equal under Nature’s Law and entitled to this by Nature’s God. This is making the statement that God is natural, not man made, not a man, not a government. This impressive document also states that ALL men are endowed with certain unalienable rights. Unalienable means that since God grants these rights, no man may infringe upon these rights.
This is rather a simple concept, one wonders why you are having so much trouble with this.
I said that all of the Founding Fathers were men of faith. They were. Most were self-avowed Christians of one denomination or another, the rest were deists.
*someone get CAS a towel, he has egg on his face…*
As for that video you posted, exactly what is the point of posting a video of preacher speaking in a church? This proves, what?
Oh!!! I get it!! That EVIL minister is forcing his views onto those that attend his church!! Oh noes!!! This is horrific!!!
You said:
No, this OP clearly stated:
This is called espousing an opinion, which you seem to be completely full of, among other substances.
You said:
So you haven’t called other peoples’ faiths and their practice thereof a violation against you?
BZZZZT! Wrong again, in your own words:
So a minister preaching in a private church is invading your space? A minister proclaiming that he believes in one, true God is filth and hatred? A minister EXERCISING his First Amendment right of free speech somehow violates yours???
You just bypassed tolerant and went straight to arrogant, do not pass go, do not collect two hundred dollars.
Wow, secular tolerance at it’s best.
.
.
anticsrocks
wow, this is so well explained, it is a gift you just took the time in a peaceful
and tolerant self control poise to give a lesson on history of the ones who put the foundation on this
NEW REPUBLIC, THEY HAD A VISION OF WHAT IS NEEDED TO PROTECT THE AMERICANS COMING FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD TO EMBRACE ONLY ONE NAME, ONLY ONE TONGUE ,
THAT IS I AM AN AMERICAN,
THANK YOU.
@ilovebeeswarzone: You’re welcome Beezy, and thank you for your kind comments.
@anticsrocks:doubtful.
Dennis Terry and Rick Santorum are both perfect examples of what’s wrong with the conservative culture. they are both vain, hateful, and intolerant…while spitting all over the likes of non-Christians and all that is TRULY “American”.
as always…you keep pushing the revisionist theory. when did i ever say that the Founding Fathers were not “men of faith”? hmmm? i did not. what i did point out is…Bee keeps wanting to talk about a “VISION OF WHAT IS NEEDED TO PROTECT THE AMERICANS COMING FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD TO EMBRACE ONLY ONE NAME, ONLY ONE TONGUE” how “American” of Bee to imply that only one “faith” and one “language” is the vision of the Framers of our Constitution. oh, how “American”!
when i read such statements, it makes me quite sad that such closed-minded people still exist. i am thankful she is not “American” but i am quite aware that people like her exist in my backyard.
you call me “arrogant” but your response in itself is no different. also…you (again, as always) missed my point or helped me prove it.
i guess you didn’t bother reading when i asked Bee to read the Constitution, because she keeps confusing it with the Declaration. seems you do to.
the Constitution is a secular document which clearly protects the rights of ALL people. too many people in this thread seem to think that only “Christian” Americans deserve to be “free”. sad.
i posted that video as an example of the extremists from the religious Right, who are NO BETTER than those terrorists who crashed planes. Terry is a religious zealot who deals in fear and hate. the sad fact that Bee applaud him and you support his “freedom” and condemn Maher’s in the same breath is hypocritical. if you have no problem with Terry’s bigoted speech, i feel sorry for you.
hmmm? is there anything such as a “public” church? it is not his proclamation of his faith i have a problem with…it is the unAmerican rhetoric he spoke of…suggesting that non-Christians “leave”??? the biggest problem i have with this speech is that he was introducing Rick Santorum on his campaign trail…somehow weaving a religious extremist with a presidential candidate. i suppose if this was Maher introducing Obama…you guys would have another dozen threads devoted to how “wrong” they were. so explain to me how Terry is “right”, but Maher isn’t? freedom of speech, right?
but during all of this…i remember why i haven’t come back here in some time. the conversations are not entertaining or informing. all i learn is that there are more intolerant people like you and Bee out there and only further pushes me to vote for Obama to keep the Christian Taliban from taking away my Constitutional, not “god given”, rights.
ironically, i’m quite relieved that John Elway and the Broncos organization “saw the light” and will be trading Tebow. the reality is…Tebow will likely be out of the league sooner than later and i won’t have to hear his name every 3 minutes and 16 seconds.
make a great future. get used to the fact that you have to share it with others.
C Andrew Scott
what if I reverse your words and like a boomerang send it right back to you.
you shrugged at the NAME OF GOD, AT THE NAME OF CHRISTIANS, you give the wrong reasons,
to be annoyed by the mere mention of JESUS, AS IF YOU ARE SCARE OF THEM,
TRY TO UNDERSTAND YOUR OWN REACTION BEFORE ATTACKING A MESSAGER OF GOODWILL,
then you will be able without insulting anyone who believe there is more than your persona, much more,
IT’S called the SPIRIT OF THE HUMAN ASPIRING TO RISE AGAINST ANY CRUSHING IMPOSITION
TO KEEP HIM FROM CREATIVITY TO IMPROVE HIS LIFE AND BY THE SAME TOKEN MANY OTHER LIVES,
THEN IF IT’S NOT TO LATE FOR YOU TO FREE YOUR BRAIN FROM THE VISIBLE CYNICAL PROPAGANDA SUCCEEDING TO RALLY THE FEEBLE MINDS BEHIND THEIR
DESTRUCTIVE AGENDA, YOU CAN BECOME SO PEACEFULL AND TOLERANT TOWARD OTHER
WHO BELIEVE IN GOD, IT WONT BOTHER YOU AS IT IS NOW, BECAUSE YOU WILL BE FREE LIKE THEY ARE IN THEIR SOUL,
@C Andrew Scott: You poor misguided fool. Where do I start? LOL
You said:
So it is un-American to insist on one language?
Hmmm, what was it that Teddy Roosevelt said? Oh yeah! I remember and you should really like this because he was a progressive, damn near a socialist in many respects and you can look up to him. So here is what Teddy said about immigration, emphasis mine:
Damn! Looks like you just got pre-emptively stabbed in the back by a few decades! lol
As to your assertion that you did not say the Founding Fathers weren’t men of faith. You said that these men of faith didn’t use God’s Wisdom (as Ms. Beez pointed out), when they oversaw the birth of our country.
Let me educate you, as it is clear you drastically need it. The Founding Fathers drew heavily upon the writings of John Locke. Do you even know who he is? Locke was a scholar and philosopher who wrote about unalienable rights and the social compact well before Thomas Jefferson penned our own Declaration of Independence.
So you see, the Founders drew heavily from Locke and his ideas that our rights come to us from our Creator. Whereas you espouse the idea that our rights come from…well, I honestly don’t know where you think they come from. You said:
Pray tell, where do your rights come from? Please explain the social compact. If you assert your Constitutional rights come from the government, then what is to stop the government from infringing upon those rights? If you are dependent on other men to give you your rights, then in that subservient role, how do you redress the grievances that come when they confiscate your rights?
Definition of unalienable, as in unalienable rights:
So you see, CAS you are the only one here throwing the hissy fit about rights. On one hand you claim that your “leaders aren’t the ones scrambling to take away the FREEDOMS of individuals and the RIGHTS of AMERICANS,” without defining who they are or what they are taking, nor even how they are trying to take those rights. Then on the other hand you want to silence anyone who espouses a view that you don’t agree with, and not only do you wish to silence them, you do so with much venom and hatred.
I truly feel sorry for you, CAS. Your limited, immature world view fills you with such hate that it blinds you to even basic understanding of the epistemology of our country’s founding. Locke, Montesquieu and many other great thinkers were relied on to craft the documents that have made this country the greatest on the face of the earth.
So, go ahead and rant some more, then sign off by saying “make a great day” so that you can feel better about yourself.
Oh, and by the way, I don’t confuse the Declaration of Independence with the Constitution at all; and if you would like, I can discuss them both in detail.
C Andrew Scott
you must correct your error.
I did not say they must embrace FAITH,
I SAID they must embrace one name and one tongue that is ;
I AM AN AMERICAN
@ilovebeeswarzone:
@anticsrocks:
you are a sad lot of hypocrites drunk on your own blind faith and ignorance.
keep drinkin’ the Kool-Aid.
C Andrew Scott’
you will turn yellow when you see that TEBOW IS STILL GOING GOOD WITH ANOTHER TEAM,
YOU WILL SEE HIM PRAY AGAIN,, YOU WILL GET STOMACK ULCERS OVER HIM,
AND THAT IS VERY PAINFUL AND WILL GET WORSE, BECAUSE
YOU PRODUCE TOO MUCH POISON IN YOUR BILE,
ACCEPT THAT TO BE YOUR FAITH
@ilovebeeswarzone: actually, Bee…i won’t turn blue. i won’t get ulcers. i won’t lose any sleep because Tebow is still playing in the NFL.
sadly, and i’ve tried to state this before in vain, YOU are the one producing “poison” with your hypocritical point-of-view regarding “freedom”. you clearly only care about “Christians” (or other people who at least conform to your beliefs). you’ve stated numerous times your thoughts on Muslims, immigrants, etc.
ironically…and i’ll point it out for the billionth time…YOU are NOT American.
i do not care how you worship…only that you respect the rights of others. i do not care what god you believe in or what language you speak. i only ask that you do not twist your “loving” propaganda against those who have other beliefs, other languages, or other cultural influences.
i’m amazed at the backlash from you and your friend “antics” and i find it comical that either of you still insist on trying to “educate” me on the Constitution (my degree is in History, Race Relations & Immigration). aside from the fact that you clearly want to avoid the double-standard you feel to impose on a comedian making a poor joke about a mediocre athlete, simply because the athlete is a devout Christian is laughable. but to further insist that America is and should always be a “Christian Nation” is simply insulting.
yet Santorum, who you have openly supported, believes differently…and you agree with him.
i’m sorry, Bee…and antics. you are free to believe whatever you like…but your “faith” does not change the FACT that the Founding Fathers did not simply employ the Ten Commandments in our founding documents. we are NOT a “Christian Nation”. we are a nation that was built by immigrants from around the world. why Christians cannot share this great nation with all its freedoms and opportunities peacefully is something i will never quite comprehend. (ah…i understand. it is against their beliefs)
again…this thread was about freedom of speech…or a skewed attempt to create an “attack” on Christianity. you cannot defend one man’s freedom while condemning another. that IS hypocritical, do you not see that?
but i digress…you have made your point loud and clear, despite how incredibly wrong you are.
CAS Very well said “You cannot defend one man’s freedom while condemning anothers”
Both Reagan and Kennedy had it right.
Elway never thought much of Tebow as a Q.B. and basically gave him away to the Jets (4th and 6th round draft picks) Will be interesting to see him competing with Mark Sanchez the ultimate Cal party boy.
C Andrew Scott
I’m getting tired of your lies about me, you say words that i never said, I told you before about the word FAITH YOU SPIT AND I HAD NOT MENTION IT IN MY SENTENCE,
YOU START THIS NASTY EXCHANGE YOURSELF BY INSULTING A NEW COMMENTER WHICH YOU NEVER HEARD OF AND HE NEVER COMMUNICATED WITH YOU, AND ANTICSROCKS THANK HIM FOR SUCH A NICE COMMENT, AND YOU CAME BACK SPITTING AGAIN, I know your profile and was not about to let you get away with that, so you are in the pit trying to get out by insulting us, why do you bring trouble every time you come, that is because you are one trouble maker, distorting my words,
on every one of your comments, this is my last answer to you, unless I see fit to address your lies
and arrogance, you never where attack by TEBOW, YOU NEVER WHERE ATTACK BY THE CHRISTIAN
COMMENT OF THE PREVIOUS VISITOR SPEAKING HIS MIND, YOU NEVER WHERE ATTACK BY THE BAPTIST MINISTER EXPRESSING WHAT A MAJORITY ARE SEEING THAT THEY IN GOVERNMENT ARE TRYING TO HIDE TO THE YOUNG THE REAL AMERICA, WITH THE CONSTITUTION AS LAWS FOLLOWED BY THE FIRST GENERATIONS ANS SO ON TIL NOW AND HE WAS TELLING OF HOW THE FLAG IS INSULTED AND DENIED IN PUBLIC SPACES AND MANY SCHOOLS, IT IS SO IN YOUR FACE NOW ONLY AN IDIOT WON’T SEE IT, HE , THE SAME MINISTER POINT OUT HOW THE LEADERS TREAT THE CHRISTIANS LIKE YOU DO , DIS RESPECT WHAT IS PRESENT IN THE BIG NUMBER OF AMERICANS AND WHAT YOU SAY IS THE CONTRARY, INSTEAD IT’S THE CHRISTIANS WHICH ARE BEING UNDER ATTACK BY PEOPLE LIKE YOU SPITTING TO HUMILIATE THE ONE PRAYING GOD,
NOBODY IS ATTACKING YOU, BUT YOU ARE THE ATTACKER HERE, AND YOU ARE NOT ALONE, IT IS GETTING TIRESOME
TO HEAR YOU REPEATING IT, BUT I WONT LET YOU GET AWAY WITH IT,
NOBODY NEED TO TAKE WITHOUT GIVING, I AM ON YOUR BACK TO GET EVEN IN THE BALANCE OF RIGHT TO WRONG,
OH BY THE WAY YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT HERE WE ARE ALL DIFFERENT AN NO ONE IS TRYING TO PUSH HIS FAITH ON
OTHER, UNLESS WE HAVE TO PUT SOME LIBS ON CHECK FOR ATTACKING OTHER.
HOW COME YOU DIDN’T KNOW THAT?
I MUST SAY THIS LOOK LIKE TWO RATS COMING FROM THEIR DARK HOLE CONGRATULATE EACH OTHER, AS SOON
AS THE LIGHT IS SHUT OF AND OTHER PEOPLE ARE GONE.
YOU TWO MAKE AN ODD COUPLE
@ilovebeeswarzone: Bee…i am not a “lib” coming here to attack. i’m a “person” coming her to defend.
i have not twisted your words…YOU have been the one disrespecting non-Christian American’s freedoms. YOU have been the one who supports hatred like Terry’s. YOU have been the one denouncing Muslims and atheists. YOU have been the one attempting to twist MY nation’s history and applaud your fellow “rats” when they come to your rescue.
all that Mr. Wheeler was pointing out is the same as i have all along. YOU are a hypocrite. Bill Maher is a comedian. he made a joke. you don’t like it. big deal. this is America. freedoms do not simply apply to Christians and Tim Tebow.
speaking of which…Matthew 6:5…
you applaud one man’s faith and disrespect another. you defend one man’s freedom and condemn another. you are hypocrite and a bigot…and you have made that clear throughout this thread.
i did not “attack” Terry…i merely pointed out that he was not preaching “love” as Jesus most likely intended…he is preaching hatred and discrimination…and you defend him. that is sad.
i am done here. i will not respond to anymore of your fishing for a fight. you are blind. i am not the one filled with hate. if you are truly the loving person that you claim to be…open your eyes and realize that ALL people, NOT just Christians, are equal. if you can’t accept that…then i will ask my religious friends to pray for your soul.
@C Andrew Scott:

@C Andrew Scott: Part 1
Considering that you dress yourself up as the “tolerant” one in this discussion, it is incongruous how many assumptions you make about me, my faith and who I “support” for President.
It is also very telling how you furiously ignore the facts about the philosophies that our Founding Fathers relied on. It is good to know you have a degree in history, one has to wonder if it is American history given your bastardization of our founding documents. In regards to Jefferson’s oft misunderstood separation quote in his letter to the Danbury Baptists, you fall back on the same old tired tactic of taking one portion of a quote and twisting the context. Let’s look at the entire conversation that comprised Jefferson’s quote, shall we?
Jefferson’s election to the office of President of the United States was very good news to Baptists who were mainly Anti-Federalist in their political leanings. As such, as a group they feared that the First Amendment was stating an “alienable” right in the free exercise of religion and therefore they feared that some future Congress or President may revoke those rights since they appeared (to them) as alienable instead of inalienable.
To whit:
So it is plain to see their misgivings about the idea that something granted by other men could easily be taken away by other men, and something granted by God could not be abridged by men. This led Jefferson to respond to their concerns:
@C Andrew Scott: Part 2
And we can see this philosophy of Jefferson’s in other examples from his writings and speeches:
I am glad you quoted Ronald Reagan, I am just perplexed as to why you didn’t include enough of his statement so as to provide context. Oh wait, that’s right because had you done that, it would have obvious what President Reagan was saying:
Your insistence on rewriting the history of our country reminds me of a John Adams’ quote:
With your degree in history, I am sure that you will hold up the idea that a man’s words should not be taken out of context, unless you are deigning to know better Jefferson’s and Reagan’s words and meanings than they did. If that is the case, then our nation is sorely lacking in not having your esteemed leadership in a public, official function.
Again, I truly feel sorry for you. Your hatred and venom must exact a high price as you go about your everyday activities. You go ahead and convince yourself that we were not founded on Judea-Christian principles, that our very system of laws has no basis in religion teachings, that this great country is, as Reagan said a, “shining city on a hill” where men have fought and died so that you CAS, can believe whatever twisted view of our history that you wish.
Now YOU go out and “make a great day.”
@anticsrocks: i make every day great.
good for you
