We now realize the Liberal media controls or tries to control the election process in the United States; obviously, control is a matter of degree, it can be minimal or it can be complete. Regardless of the degree of control the press has over any political process, the press will use every tool at its’ disposal to acquire all the control it can steal from the public, for that is what this control by the press has become, a theft of our election process and our very freedom to determine our own political future. Democrats or high ranking Republicans will never complain about this usurpation of the political process or the freedom of the public to determine their own future because they want the control of the country to be concentrated in the hands of a select few. The press has exposed its’ duplicitous nature well enough, only the most intellectually compromised among us cannot see the glaring inconsistencies and corruption. The attempted evisceration of Cain by circumspect women with motives that may include career advancement or monetary gain, is in sharp contrast to the protection given to the serial rapist and womanizer Bill Clinton.
That contrast only pertains to the men; there is also a sharp contrast in the treatment of the women. Clinton’s accusers were defamed and relegated to the status of cheap whores and today the dubious reputations of these women of questionable merit are considered to be above the scrutiny of the press. Have the social values of the press and the public changed in the last decade?
No, not really, it is a rhetorical question, Clinton is a Democrat; he is to be provided with the full protection of the MSM: Cain is a Conservative, he is to be excoriated with the full wrath of a duplicitous press. America is now using their best skills at detecting lies and half truths learned while watching the latest crime and justice shows and the press has accomplished its’ goal of instilling doubt where there was none. In the case of the Clinton rape scandals, it was the mission of the press to cast doubt on the integrity of the accusers; the press has been extremely successful in their efforts.
Without a doubt, the MSM will be able to find another “victim” of sexual harassment by Herman Cain every week until the election is held or until the press forces him out of the race and virtually insures an Obama reelection. These questions deserve to be asked: are we willing to let a corrupt press have this much control over our election process? Are we willing to let our country be manipulated by a cheap soap opera script and the witless writers and fans of such lame vapidity.
We are at a critical crossroads in our nation’s future. We have an economic illiterate in the White House who is determined to impose a Socialist system of Wealth Redistribution and to bring down the most powerful economic entity in the history of the world, so that other nations can direct this once free and noble country through corrupt organizations like the United Nations.
It is a disgrace to think that we are willing to forget about the desecration of our country and throw away our future because of the pleading of a few bimbos who appear to be little more than political operatives for the Democrat Party. There may never bring another chance to fight back this Socialist conversion that the Obama Socialists and Obama Republicans are so desperate to impose, but the nation is worried over a few neurotic bimbos with stories they are hoping will lead to fame and fortune.
We must remember, a Democrat excuses rape by a Democrat with claims that she wanted or deserved the attention, but innuendo or a smile can be interpreted as sexual harassment if you are a Conservative. These are the standards that Conservatives are expected to maintain. Now, that we know the rules that the Liberal press plays by and how easy it is for them to destroy lives and reputations without a thought for integrity or honor, it should be understood that any business executive or politician who allows himself to be alone with a woman, particularly a Liberal woman without is asking for their lives and reputations to be ruined. I am suggesting open door meetings with witnesses and recording all meetings with women and making a big deal of the necessity to protect yourself from the duplicity so common to Liberal women and the Liberal press.
In the final analysis, it is imperative that we prevent the Liberal press from playing us like bimbos posing in front of the porta-potties.

I was reading that the lefties in Hollywood (well, they make their movies where it is cheaper) are complaining about how we (conservatives) won’t go see their leftist, revisionist excuses for movies like we used to.
It is an article of faith in the Democratic Party that uppity blacks must be put in their place. When Lincoln was assassinated, the means of doing this was to accuse the black of sexual activity and lynch him. Thus was born the KKK, of which the late Sen. Robert Byrd (D-WV) was Grand Kleagle.
The same method was used by the accusers of Judge Thomas, when hearings were held on his appointment to the Supreme Court. Similar threadbare lies were told by a gaggle of paid accusers, since Thomas was black, conservative, and believed in the Constitution.
Cain is off the reservation. He does not consider himself to be a Democrat slave. He does not march to their tune; he refuses to ask for Federal help with food, clothing, housing, employment, or getting women (Clinton had the Arkansas National Guard to procure for him). This is sufficient to warrant his destruction.
What is truly disappointing is the inability of the Dems to construct a coherent narrative. None of the bimbos who have thus far come forward has a semen-stained dress, a hospital visit, bruises, or corroborative testimony. Their lies are made of tissue paper.
After all, King Putt somehow caused the sealed divorce records of Sen Tim Ryan to be published. I wonder how that was arranged? Sealed is sealed until it is unsealed, I guess. Great article Skookum. My friends and myself are fuming that the liberal media is winning another major media victory. Back in the early 90’s Clinton let the trial lawyers out of their cages, and along with the general weakening of our societal norms and values we witnessed whole professional fields underwent dramatic and costly changes to how business is now conducted here in America. Those changes also effected every American with higher cost for goods and services for everything. Right now somewhere here in American at a seminar Cain is being used as a Poster Boy as what can happen to you if you are not careful, and or if you have a sick individual who is committed to getting you, and a payout come hell or high water. All it takes it to get the boss alone for two seconds and then scream “I was sexually assualted!” I was accused of sexual harrassment for telling a lady that that her she look nice for a meeting with a potential big time customer. There were witnesses, and thank God it was proved to be unfounded. From then on all compliments had to be “You are dressed appropriately.” She had even asked me how she looked. I agree with Cain, we have become way to damn serious, and politically correct. We all have to talk and act like professional politicains now, and nothing ever gets done. We referred to it as being “tagged” for sexual harassment. This new phenomenon as it was referred to then gave rise to new professions, and expanded other legal/insurance professions. Now these types of accusations are routinely settled between the accuser, the supervisors company/insurance. Yet the liberal media with their excellent propaganda machine has begun to turn ignorant Americans against Cain. Yet the media has to have the same insurance that I and my friends had to have, and suffer the same unfounded and false allegations that Cain has had lodged against him. Even with required continuing education hours into preventive measures on how not to become a victim of false charges many supervisors/staff still get tagged, and though innocent of those charges they are told that they have to take one for the team, or they may have to face those charges alone. Either way their insurance goes up with each accusation. The whole system is rigged for the accuser. Period. We even have some republicans using this rotten incident to persuade people to go to the establishments main man Rommey. I think they are worse than the low life liberals. And whats worse were is the organized conservative resistance? As always they are Missing in Action. Just like the state where the unions had another major propaganda victory. Unbelievable! My point is that till we conservatives need to take the liberal tactics and then improve upon those tactics and then beat them with their own medicine. But until we can learn how to use propaganda effectively we will continue to see defeats like these. But to do that we will need leaders like Cain, who the libdems and many professional republicans, and the pundits fear and hate. He represents everything they despise. Showing student ID has always been used. Requiring an ID is an age old GOP tactic to limit Democratic turnout who are usually the poorest among us and without the capability to procure ID if they have no driver’s license. You know that.

A gun permit pretty much proves you reside in the state giving you the permit.
A student ID means nothing of the sort.
A college student might be voting in their home state OR the state where they go to school IF they have established it as their home residence.
Nan G,,, a student ID is based on enrollment records. We have exchange students, those here on student visas and illegals… all get student ID cards. Not to mention they are extremely easy to make fraudulent IDs. They never should have been used for something as important as voting.

I used to have Thanksgiving dinner at the home of a friend who had a relative who joined us, for several years. He’s now an NPR deputy national editor.

At the time, he was a beat reporter for the San Diego Union Tribune. The guy is a rock star, intelligence-wise. He could have majored in economics and been a Wall Street titan or he could have gone to law school and been a rich trial lawyer. Or started his own business. Instead, he wanted to make a difference, root out corruption, etc etc. So he got a degree in journalism and did investigative reporting pieces on local issues. He’s now been at NPR for about a dozen years.
Every once in awhile I hear him do an on-air piece. He didn’t make much money during his newspaper reporter days, and, while I don’t know what his pay grade is at NPR, I doubt it’s anywhere near as much as he could have made elsewhere.
He’s probably a Democrat. I’d wager that most NPR employees are Democrats. Being human, he has to be biased. All humans are biased. Every person who contributes to this blog is biased. If any of you wrote political stories for the MSM, there would be, to some extent, a conservative bias. You’d tend to trust your conservative sources. You’d look for reasons not to trust your liberal sources. You wouldn’t intentionally slant the news, but your bias would creep into your reporting.
That’s the problem with the MSM — the people that want to devote their lives to journalism tend to be liberals. So rather than complaining about the MSM, why not figure out a way to encourage more conservatives to go into journalism?

@liberalmann: FoxNews programs vary. Whereas, Hannity and O’Reilly both have a point of view, those points of view are fairly different; and very different from, say, John Stossel. On Shep’s news report, you can’t get more middle of the road. On O’Reilly’s program, you get both sides of most debates, on Special Report, the first 40 minutes is straight news, without bias.
Greta seems to be fair on all of her interviews. She obviously likes some people more than others, but that does not seem to be based entirely upon political persuasion.
