Paranoia Strikes Deep

It’s the timing Mr President, when you come out with the Iranian Amateur Hour version of a terror attack within hours of your Attorney General being served with a subpoena, it’s no wonder people are a little, no, make that a lot, skeptical. Was the attack so imminent or so dangerous that it was imperative that it be released at precisely that instant or was it an effort to show how diligent your Attorney General is, the same one who sells advanced military grade weapons to Mexican Drug Cartels for no apparent or logical reason, weapons that have so far been instrumental in the killing of two federal agents and probably used in the commission of hundreds of deaths of Mexican nationals in Mexico. The same weapons that will probably be used in countless attacks and murders on both sides of the border for decades in the future. Are we supposed to believe that this same Attorney General is instrumental in rounding up an Iranian American, who was recruiting Mexican henchmen from the drug cartels to act as terrorists for the Iranians. Obama’s Cowboy Lament

Since Obama is running on empty, he is trying to recast his wife as just a regular bargain hunting housewife, who shops at Target, Petco, and Starbucks. She may have her own photographers and a cart without a squeaky wheel, but the public can now see her as just a suburban housewife with her own security detail.

You can sing along with this poem, just like Johnny Cash, and celebrate this new found identity of the first lady with the diamond cuffs and her own large jet. For when she isn’t flying her friends to Spain and Africa on Air Force One, she is at Target looking for bargains on paper towels and such.

Obama Vows to “Punish” Iran…Laughter Ensues The World Over

Now it’s starting to get real serious:

Though initially skeptical that top Iranian regime figures were behind a plot to assassinate Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to Washington, U.S. government officials became convinced by the operation’s money trail and now consider it likely that Iran’s supreme leader was aware of the plan.

Herman Cain Leading in New Polls but Still Plenty of Bad News to be Had.

Meanwhile, in the latest MSNBC poll you see that Romney’s numbers haven’t changed a bit. Anyone who is for Cain was NOT for Romney before so that isn’t surprising….and the MSM is all but crowning Romney anyway:

“He’s viewed as an almost inevitable candidate,” said longtime strategist Ed Rollins, who until last month managed the campaign of Rep. Michele Bachmann (Minn.), one of Romney’s opponents. “He’s the heavy favorite.”

Say What? October 12, 2011 Edition [Reader Post]

Vice President Joe Biden: “There’s a lot of people in Florida that have good reason to be upset because they’ve lost jobs, even though 50 some percent of the American people think the economy tanked because of the last administration, that’s not relevant. What’s relevant is, we’re in charge. And right now, we are the ones in charge, and it’s gotten better but it hasn’t gotten good enough. And in states like Florida it’s even been more stagnant because of the real estate market. And so I don’t blame them for being mad. We’re in charge, so they’re angry.”

Joe Biden: “We are in charge. We have turned it [the economy] around.”

Joe Biden, answering a question to a class of 5th graders: “Because things got really bad before we came into office and an awful lot of companies said `there’s no more jobs for you here.’” Continue reading

Huntsman and Bachmann Display A Lack Of Class And An Immaturity

Using techniques perfected by the pseudo-intellectuals of the Left and described in Alynsky’s “Rules For Radicals”, both Huntsman and Bachman displayed why they are unworthy to carry the standard of the GOP. Having little of substance to offer, both Huntsman and Bachman used juvenile techniques from the schoolyard to isolate and ridicule the taxation plan of Herman Cain.

There are few Americans who don’t consider our tax laws to be unwieldily to the point of being unusable. With kleptocrats like Charlie Rangel continuously writing tax laws to benefit those who own him, our taxes have become a national disgrace and yet, there is only one candidate with a plan to replace the system. Herman Cain wants to scrap the whole corrupt system and start over with a new and simpler plan he calls the 9 9 9 Plan. It is a novel concept employing simplicity that would allow businesses to streamline their accounting so as not to budget a huge portion of their revenue to conforming to the tax codes. It would also prevent corrupt incompetents like Rangel from rewriting the tax code every year to benefit those corporations who funnel the largest amounts of money to his campaign funds and to his relatives.

10 for 12 – How the GOP can win the Presidency and bring back liberty and prosperity [Reader Post]

One of the challenges in politics is going from the general to the specific. Practically every American wants the things most politicians promise they’ll deliver: more jobs, economic growth, good schools, less poverty, freedom, a coherent foreign policy, etc.

The more opaque a politician gets the better voters seem to like it. The poster child for this was of course Barack Obama in 2008. What in the world does Hope and Change actually mean? Virtually every American hopes for the things listed above, but in terms of a plan for actually addressing any of them, what does Hope and Change really mean? Continue reading

Christie Endorses Romney

How convenient it was for Christie to keep his rather large posterior blocking the view of Republican candidates, while he played his voters and supporters for chumps with his mincing indecision on whether to finally admit he didn’t want to run for the presidency. But for what purpose, the casual observer may ask in bewilderment.

Oh, but the answer is easy and was exposed today: Christie admitted, it was an “easy decision” to endorse Romney. It was an easy decision because it was his intention all along to endorse his fellow RINO.

Fast and Furious: Holder To Be Hit With Subpoena

Sharyl Attkisson, the same CBS reporter who was screamed at by the White House to stop reporting on the Fast and Furious gun scandal, is reporting today that Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) will be issuing a subpoena to DOJ head Eric Holder:

CBS News has learned a congressional subpoena directed to Attorney General Eric Holder could go out as early as Tuesday, ordering him to turn over documents to lawmakers about when he was aware of a controversial gun smuggling operation known as Fast and Furious.
