Sun Bunny [Reader Post]

Sometimes it is just a bazaar puzzle when there happens to be a sultry sexy 28 year old soap opera actress from Brazil who caresses and kisses a hairless octogenarian, whom she has been dating for five years, while sunbathing on a secluded beach on the tropical Caribbean island paradise St. Bart’s while they both plan political strategies that attack global warming-climate change at an upcoming UN summit in New York. So instead of smooching grandpa on the cheek this long legged sex bomb is an item of sexual interest that prances about around the world in luxury suite bedrooms with George Soros. Continue reading

The Left Still Doesn’t Get the Tea Party, As Told Through the Stages of Death and Dying Part 1 of 2 [Reader Post]

Author’s note: I had originally started writing this piece back in November of 2010, but life events put my blogging on hold for a bit. I was just getting to the point where I thought that the left’s hatred for the Tea Party was finally starting to die down since the movement’s evolution started taking it away from the highly visible protest rallies and with it, out of the cameras and out of liberals’ psyches. Then came all of the recent hysterics by the left as the recent debt ceiling issue brought all of the pent-up hatred they have for the Tea Party coming up to boil in an embarrassing explosion of rhetoric fueled by unthinking rage that made me decide that it was time to finish this piece once and for all. With all of the events that have taken place this wound up being a lot longer than expected and needed to be broken into two parts. To start where I left off a few months ago… Continue reading

Accounting 101 for the Post Office [Reader Post]

An onslaught of crying jags by the postal unions and by the liberal media has followed the announcement this week that things have to change at the United States Postal Service to preserve its very existence. Postal unions are claiming that Republicans irreparably harmed the Post Office by requiring annual payments of about $5.5 billion each year until 2015, which according to the WaPo, is designed “to prepay into an employee retirement fund each year to ensure that its increasing financial woes will not leave taxpayers shouldering costs.” Balderdash! Head of Obama’s Job Council adds jobs- in China [Reader Post]

Back in January Barack Obama named the CEO of General Electric, Jeffrey Immelt, head of his Jobs Council.

In July, the head of the Obama Jobs Council announced that GE was moving its x-ray business to China. At least 65 new jobs for engineers were expected in addition to staff. Continue reading

“Great day today! Obama didn’t speak. Congress didn’t act. Experts on vacation. And the Dow soared 400 points. There’s a lesson in there.” –Jay Leno

“Man, America’s credit rating took a real hit this weekend. On Friday night, the U.S. actually lost its AAA status. Or as Joe Biden put it, ‘What happens if I get a flat tire?’” –Jimmy Fallon

“President Obama said this week that the downgrading of our credit rating should give America ‘a renewed sense of urgency.’ A renewed sense of urgency? The only people that don’t think it’s urgent are the congressmen that just went on a five week vacation.” –Jay Leno

“Did you know that China has the exact same credit rating that we do? You’d think their credit would be better, but it’s not. Look who owes them all the money.” –Jay Leno

Domestic Terrorism, The TEA Party Fights For Solvency

We have come to expect Obama to blame everyone else for problems; unfortunately, the childish technique of never accepting blame becomes obvious to the American people after a few months, after a few years it is just boring. The credit downgrade was another Obama debacle and this one stung the Democrats so bad they all needed a scapegoat.

The TEA Party was singled out for causing the credit downgrade that will cost Americans a substantial portion of their standard of living in the future because of higher interest rates on the debt. There is one problem with this latest blame game; the Tea Party didn’t cause the downgrade, they kept it from being worse.

Obama’s Teleprompter [Reader Post]

The MSM has always said that Barack Obama can speak well. Here is an example of what the MSM says: Lolita Breckenridge said, “He’s very charismatic. It was a ‘you-had-to-be-there’ kind of experience.” After hearing Democratic White House hopeful Barack Obama address a packed rally at the University of Maryland on Monday, Breckenridge made the comment. A dedicated supporter, she brought two of her friends to hear the Illinois senator deliver one of his much-talked-about speeches. “Not too much of the speech was new to me,” she admitted. “But hearing him live…” she trailed off, shaking her head and grinning. Ahead of Obama’s speech, hip-hop music blared across the sports arena and fans held up signs that read “Barack My World” and “Party Like a Barack Star”. Afterward, supporters were eager to talk about the experience. For Karen Ruffin, hearing him speak of his hope for the country was “inspiring, full of hope and phenomenal. I was undecided in the beginning but after hearing a few speeches I gradually moved toward him,” Ruffin said. Continue reading

Hollywood Is Not Necessarily A Leftist Propaganda Center

After the propaganda effort by the MSM to elect the empty suit called Obama, everyone is extremely suspicious of efforts to promote this man of no accomplishment. Thus when the White House gave Sony (a company that just hosted another fund raiser for the eternal campaigner) the supposed top secret details of the mission to assassinate Osama, the paranoia strikes deep; but seriously, is this president that ignorant to publicize top secret data on the wide screen to the world? I don’t think so

There is paranoia over Sony’s movie on Bin Laden; I am not sure it is worthy of our attention. Scheduled to be released a month before the presidential election, Conservatives are convinced it will be an attempt to cast Obama in a commander of commandos type role who couldn’t have been closer unless he was in the chopper and Liberals are hoping against common sense that it will portray the president in a positive light and it will make the American public forget the failures of the past.

Appeals Court Declares Individual Mandate Unconstitutional

The 11th Circuit has struck down the individual mandate of ObamaCare: [PDF]

We first conclude that the Act’s Medicaid expansion is constitutional. Existing Supreme Court precedent does not establish that Congress’s inducements are unconstitutionally coercive, especially when the federal government will bear nearly all the costs of the program’s amplified enrollments.
