Why not a Predator strike on George Soros? [Reader Post]

Barack Obama is big on the use of drone attacks on those he deems fit to receive them. In March of 2010 State Department legal adviser Harold Koh offered this defense of the use of drone missile attacks.

Some have suggested that the very use of targeting a particular leader of an enemy force in an armed conflict must violate the laws of war. But individuals who are part of such an armed group are belligerent and, therefore, lawful targets under international law…. Some have challenged the very use of advanced weapons systems, such as unmanned aerial vehicles, for lethal operations. But the rules that govern targeting do not turn on the type of weapon system involved, and there is no prohibition under the laws of war on the use of technologically advanced weapons systems in armed conflict — such as pilotless aircraft or so-called smart bombs — so long as they are employed in conformity with applicable laws of war…. Some have argued that the use of lethal force against specific individuals fails to provide adequate process and thus constitutes unlawful extrajudicial killing. But a state that is engaged in armed conflict or in legitimate self-defense is not required to provide targets with legal process before the state may use lethal force.

“…a state that is engaged in armed conflict or in legitimate self-defense is not required to provide targets with legal process before the state may use lethal force.”

Hold that thought. Now for a side splitter.

In a recent essay George Soros wrote:

“I have made it a principle to pursue my self-interest in my business, subject to legal and ethical limitations, and to be guided by the public interest as a public intellectual and philanthropist,” he wrote. “If the two are in conflict, the public interest ought to prevail,” he said.

Right. The public interest ought to prevail. In Soros’ hands, it most certainly has not. Soros has brought misery to England and Thailand, betting against the currencies of each nation and pocketing a fortune each time.

Soros would like to see a New World Order and insists that the United States stop resisting “an orderly decline” of the US dollar.

Soros also says “The main obstacle to a stable and just world order is the United States” and has efforts underway to take control of the Secretaries of State offices and take control of the judiciary.

And he pretty much owns Media Matters.

In February Soros claimed that Barack Obama had lost control of the economic agenda in the US.

Republicans “are going to pursue a very strong effort to cut services by refusing to have any tax increases,” Soros said in an interview with CNN’s “Fareed Zakaria GPS” program.

“This agenda will be successful,” though it will be “more directed at cutting services and achieving the ideological purposes of the Republicans rather than to get the economy going,” Soros, 80, said, according to a transcript of the interview released by CNN. “This will have a negative impact on the economy.”

Bear in mind that this is the person who wants the dollar to fail and is attempting to take control of critical parts of the government.

Ironically, Soros was supposedly all for hedge fund regulation. Then when such regulation was instituted, Soros took steps to evade the new regulations.

“It appears that Mr. Soros talked up financial reform only to sell it short,” Shelby told Reuters in a statement. “Don’t be surprised to see his fellow Wall Street financiers follow suit. They’ll use their political clout and legal muscle to sidestep Dodd-Frank, while their smaller competitors and businesses take the hit.”

It appears that FrankenDodd, the authors of the impotent new law, provided a significant loophole that a cynical person might see as designed specifically for Soros.

The exemption allows family offices not only to avoid the registration requirements, but also to dodge a greater disclosure burden that requires big fund managers to turn over confidential data to help the SEC police systemic risk.

This makes the FrankenDodd law even more a joke than Curt has already noted.

So let’s put this all together.

George Soros wants to cause the dollar to decline, he evades regulations, he sees the US as the main obstruction to his New World Order and is attempting to seize control of critical portions of the government. It seems to me that putting an end to this constitutes a “legitimate self-defense.” Soros is no less an enemy of the US than is Moammar Gaddafi, and this is no less in the interest of national defense. More so, actually.

I couldn’t agree with you more. Soros is a psychopath – unfeeling, uncaring, and it’s all about ‘him’. Although the ‘predator’ allegory is fitting, Soros shouldn’t go out with a bang as if he’s important, but quietly, almost imperceptively – like pouring salt on a slug.

Every President, Senator, Congressperson, Justice, Federal government official, military servicemen, Governor and nearly every other government official in this nation has vowed in their oath of office:

I, [name], do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.

    5 U.S.C. §3331

By his own admission, George Soros unquestionably admits himself an enemy of the American state. A distinct declaration that is shared by those in Al queda, George Soros has already proven himself to be an economic terrorist. He should never be allowed to even enter this country, much less step one foot into the White House, (as he has done to meet with President Obama on at least 35 different occasions.) He has infiltrated the US government at the highest levels with his lackeys, and you can be certain that they report back to him. Every person in the government who has aligned themselves with this man should be impeached/investigated for high crimes, for giving aid and comfort to the enemy, and very possibly treason.

How does Gaddafi pose more of a threat to the US than does Soros? We tried to kill Gadaffi.

How do you know anyone that Obama has blown up with Hellfire missiles is a definite threat and need to be killed? How about the innocent collateral damage wreaked by those attacks?

How is any of that different?

FA authors and posters espouse violence against people with opposing political views. You don’t get it. It’s the joking about violence that takes root in receptive minds who are seeking ways to channel their fury. Bit by bit, serious or half-serious allusions to violence as a way to silence one’s enemies take root in the consciousness of sociopaths like our Norwegian friend. Predator drone or Walther PPK, who cares? Either way your political enemy is dead. Is that what you want?

You seem to operating with blinders on. I would suggest that before you preach to us, you get off your high horse and go examine the very serious violent threats that have been made against Conservatives and Republican by your fellow far-lefties, some of whom have made death threats, tried to incite violence or suggested rapes be performed on Conservative females and or families. Those who have gathered in force in front of the family homes of Republican politicians and businessmen purely to intimidate their families. Black Panthers who stand outside polling places to intimidate “Whitey”. Organized flash mobs who terrorize, vandalize and rob businesses in fear-inducing methods and other acts not so far unlike those done by southern-democrat tied organizations such as the KKK. You go to your own far-left people and clean their act up first, than you may have the moral justification to come here and call us to task for the ‘violent jokes’ of a few. But be sure and show us how you have also made such demands against your own party and their thugs.

George Bush’s decision merely to eavesdrop on American citizens without oversight, or to detain without due process Americans such as Jose Padilla and Yaser Hamdi, provoked years of vehement, vocal and intense complaints from Democrats and progressives. All of that was disparaged as Bush claiming the powers of a King, a vicious attack on the Constitution, a violation of Our Values, the trampling on the Rule of Law. Yet here you have Barack Obama not merely eavesdropping on or detaining Americans without oversight, but ordering them killed with no oversight and no due process of any kind.

…Here again, we see one of the principal and longest-lasting effects of the Obama presidency: to put a pretty, eloquent, progressive face on what (until quite recently) was ostensibly considered by a large segment of the citizenry to be tyrannical right-wing extremism

Sigh. From the very first line of your linked source with emphasis added by me:

The top U.S. admiral involved in the Libya war admitted to a U.S. congressman that NATO forces are trying to kill Libyan leader Muammar al-Qaddafi.

    1) The US is not attempting to kill Qaddafi.

    2) NATO trying to kill Qaddafi doesn’t fit the definition of “assassination.”

    This may help:

    Definition of ASSASSINATE
    transitive verb
    1
: to injure or destroy unexpectedly and treacherously
    2
: to murder (a usually prominent person) by sudden or secret attack often for political reasons

Now, back to the question I posed to you:

Obama has already authorized the execution of an American citizen- Anwar al-Awlaki.

Anwar al-Awlaki? Hmmmm….Now, why is that name familiar?

Oh, yeah, that’s right… it’s familiar because he’s actually aligned himself with al Qaeda… you know, a portion of the enemy force in the war on terror… al-Awlaki has actually encouraged, and perhaps engaged in, hostilities against this country.

In fact, if my memory serves me, al-Awlaki can take credit for at least two attempted, but unsuccessful, terror incidents on US soil in addition to the tragic events in Ft. Hood accomplished via Hasan.

Therein lies the huge difference between Awlaki and Soros.

Al-Awlaki is also the guy who said this:

“giving us a living example of how we as Muslims should proceed to change our situation. The ballot has failed us, but the bullet has not”

In short, al-Awlaki’s theory of how to accomplish (or prevent) political change is really not that different than what has been expressed in the commentary on this thread.

As a poodle is a poodle George Soros is Jewish yet prospered, along with brother Paul, in Nazi controlled Budapest. The Arrow Cross Party (Hungarian: Nyilaskeresztes Párt – Hungarista Mozgalom, literally “Arrow Cross Party-Hungarist Movement”) was a national socialist party led by Ferenc Szálasi, which led in Hungary a government known as the Government of National Unity from October 15, 1944 to 28 March 1945. During its short rule, ten to fifteen thousand people (many of which were Jews) were murdered outright,[2] and 80,000 people, including many women, children and elderly, were deported from Hungary to their deaths in the Auschwitz concentration camp.[3] After the war, Szálasi and other Arrow Cross leaders were tried as war criminals by Soviet courts. (Wikipedia)
This cut on thr Arrow Cross Movement cuts short the facts because AC aligned with the Soviet communists immediately and continued pillaging treasurews of Jews and Catholics.

The story of Cardinal Josef Mindzhenty, a Roman Catholic cardinal from Hungary who spoke out against both the Nazi occupation of his country during World War II and the Communist regime that replaced it after the war. Mindzhenty was arrested, tortured and eventually released, but was persecuted to the extent that he wound up taking refuge in the US Embassy in Budapest for many years, still acting as a spokesman for the Hungarians who wanted the Russian occupation forces and their Hungarian collaborators (ie: Arrow Cross) out of the country. (Movie: Guilty of Treason, 1950), the under currant during the entire film was the murderous threats of Arrow Cross, George Soros is Arrow Cross.

The Progressives and elites WANT regular Americans to give up in disgust and not vote. That allows them to continue with their plans in an atmosphere of continually reduced opposition. What we need to restore this nation is for more regular Americans to get fed-up with with their government, and kick all these Progressives and status quo elites out office! Only that way will we be able to defeat them. If your Republican and Democrat candidates are both for continuing business as usual, then you must be prepared to vote third party.
